Lovely store atmosphere ! Priced very high but you get the loveliest fresh flowers here ! Simply beautiful at this holiday season. We do miss the Santa & reindeer festival they used to sponsor... it has moved to Sam Bridge up on North street.

Hideous flower arrangements are the specialty at McArdle's. Comments from friends who saw the arrangement: "Gross." "Sad" "Hideous" Even my husband, who never comments on flowers, walked past them and muttered "Creepy."

Nice people, decent time for unloading. Only reason I left 4 stars și that for truck driver is pretty hard to "arrive". After you take exit 3 on I95, follow your GPS and you will find the company on the left side. DO NOT TURN LEFT, or you will take half building with you. Drive straight, take a right on Havemeyer pl, left on Mason st, left on Elm st, left on Greenwich Ave, right on Arch st. Streets are pretty tight, but truck friendly. GOOD LUCK.

My sister was visiting from Boston and we took a July workshop at McArdle’s entitled, “All Season Color”, presented by Jim McArdle. It was delightful and informative and Jim answered all our questions about which plants add color and interest during each growing season. I highly recommend their workshops listed on their website. And, they have a fabulous selection of perennials and annuals!

I needed help ordering plants from a distance for the viewing and funeral of the father of a dear friend of mine. Steven helped me decide on what would work best in the CT climate and selected and packaged the most gorgeous plants for me. The delivery person called and told me he would pick the perfect spot for them for the viewing. My friend just sent me a photo and is absolutely thrilled with the gift. She will plant them in her yard after the service and they will serve as a beautiful reminder of her parents. Thank you!
