I absolutely can't say enough about Mar Floral! Every time I enter the shop, it is like the first time I have been there. Everything is presented beautifully and the quality is amazing! The staff, especially the owner, are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.......thank goodness because my thumb is not extremely "green". I have purchased many planters, plants, fresh flowers, wreaths , and gifts throughout my visits. Want to feel happy? Just head in and ask for a mixed bouquet, and they last forever when cared for appropriately. I highly recommend Mar Floral for flowers, plants, and especially one of a kind gifts! I drive to Old Saybrook from Meriden just to browse :) Enter at your own risk......you will LOVE it!

I stopped by Mar’s shop just a few minutes before closing. As I was stepping out of my car to approach the door, I saw a young woman walk over to lock the door. I waived and smiled at her hoping I could make a purchase before closing. She looked at me, paused a moment, and decided to lock the door and walk away. She looked right at me. I find this extremely rude. At the very least, acknowledge your client and simply explain that you are unable to help. This is a small town an we locals have more than one choice to purchase flowers. Mar was a huge disappointment. I will not return.

Marlee at Mar. Floral is so wonderful! I enjoyed our meetings and conversations regarding the flowers for my wedding. I showed her some ideas from Pinterest, told her the colors we were looking for, and asked her to include some important items in our arrangements. Not only did she incorporate everything we asked, they were the most beautifully stunning arrangements I'd ever seen! I will definitely be back to visit Mar for all of my floral needs! Called Mar to arrange a 50th surprise birthday at Saybrook Point in. Discussed what I was thinking in terms of flower arrangement and price. She handled everything for me, from arrangement, to delivery, to setup on the banquet tables. Mar is a pleasure to deal with. Anthony C.

Ordered a dozen pink roses for my wife's birthday. After just one day the tips of the roses had already turned brown-grey and the petals were slightly shriveled. For as much money as I spent on them ($90 including delivery and a vase) I was very disappointed.

I love this flower shop! I ordered flowers for mothers day and they were absolutely beautiful. My mom couldn't believe how gorgeous they were. I will definitely be using this flower shop for every holiday and event!! The arrangements are beautiful and the flowers are always so fresh!
