Great flower options, even last minute. I have come in on a spur of a moment to pick up flowers and Bruce's always has a fantastic and reasonably priced selection.

Ordered a $60.00 "deluxe" bouquet of pink roses with some small blue and red flair filler flowers in a square glass vase for my girlfriend recently. Upon seeing the flowers I was incredibly dissapointed. I was expecting a much bigger arrangement with much more flair. Why? Because thats what the picture online showed. Big beautiful roses with lots of nice, full flair and filler aroind the bottom/sides. $80 purchase with tax and delivery. The item I recieved was tiny compared to what I thought I bought. I actually went ahead and took the flowers out and readjusted them to make the peice look fuller, because my brother told me it looked rushed and I agreed. I shouldnt have to touch anything. Didnt do much either way. The pictures online do not show the peice in a way where you can get an idea of the actual size. I called and told the douche on the phone I wasnt happy and he offered 10% back on the price before tax and delivery. $6, thanks. Never again. And these places wonder why they lose business! 1-800-Flowers next time for sure.

The most gorgeous floral arrangement was delivered to me for my birthday from my son and daughter-in-law. It was the longest lasting flowers I have had....in my whole 65 years! The arrangement was enjoyed for over two weeks. John, manager of Bruce's, is extremely artistic with arranging. This is the floral shop to get more than your money's worth!

I sent flowers to a client a while back after I had seen what he paid $400.00 for I told Bruce what was in the arrangement and Bruce sent a much nicer arrangement for 25% of the price.. Dealing with a loss they were so helpful helping me pick out flowers for the service. They were so patient with me and everything came out beautiful. And, my dad was a Yankee Fan they made such a nice arrangement. Truly a nice place, so many selections and great staff. You won't be disappointed.

Bruce’s Flowers is typically really good with orders of bouquets and assortments for large events (ie. wedding). However, they really dropped the ball on my wife’s and my wedding day. After delivering the corsages/boutonnières to the bride’s family at her house, they were supposed to come to the ceremony hall and deliver the corsages/boutonnières for the groom’s side. They were over 45 minutes late and did not deliver the flowers until 2:05pm and the wedding was supposed to start at 2:00pm! They apparently delivered those flowers with the third order that we scheduled to be delivered to the reception hall by mistake. After calling them the only thing they told us was “Sorry the order is en route, I can’t speak with the driver right now.” In addition to the flowers not being delivered on time, many of the corsages were turning brown by dinner time. If the flowers were fresh, they would not be wilting so soon. The bouquet was nicely put together, but overall I was dissatisfied with the service we received. Every aspect of our wedding day was running late due to the mix-up that Bruce’s Flowers had by delivering the flowers to the wrong location.

After years of dealing with Bruce's Flowers, I am sad to say, I will never deal with them again. I like to deal with HONEST people who put the customer ahead of their profits. In my opinion, I would suggest looking else ware to support a local business.

I have been working with Bruce's Flower Shop for many years on a personal level and especially as the chairperson of the flower committee at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Norwalk, CT. Every staff member has always been professional, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we are happy and completely satisfied with our orders weather it is a weekly delivery for the altar or a very large event such as our Thanksgiving Harvest display, Christmas or Easter decor. In the past few years John has "worked miracles" for me many times and is always incredibly pleasant to brainstorm with and create the most beautiful altar in Fairfield county! It's also obvious that he takes pride in his work and truly loves designing the most beautiful floral arrangements imaginable. Do not hesitate to use Bruce's Florist on Main Avenue for all your floral and decorative needs.......you will not be disappointed! BTW, they make the most gorgeous Christmas wreaths!

Just tossed the bouquet I got for my daughter's performance 16 days ago, the flowers lasted great! She loved them, beautiful wrapping and the staff were helpful, quick and clearly enjoy working here. Had a family vibe that was very welcoming. Rain helped me and she was great.

It was my first time at the store. I was quickly acknowledged by the staff. They are very friendly and courteous. I was actually talking to the owner who has been running the store for 35 years. The store is clean and neat with a very nice atmosphere.

We ended up working with John and he exceeded our exceptions and went above and beyond to make our flowers out of this world for the wedding. Amazing service for our one year anniversary party. My mother worked closely with Johnny to recreate the perfect centerpiece based on some examples we found online. Another florist wouldn't deliver for my mom's birthday today, and every question I asked she answered with a sigh like everything was a big problem. Glad I called here instead, answer to everything was "sure, no problem, we'd love to!" Night and Day. Even though they are not open he accommodates Sunday deliveries. They had her favorite flowers (lilacs and peonies) and the delivery got there early in the day. Will use again for Mother's Day.

On Valentines day Bruce and his crew rushed me a dozen sunflowers last minute and saved me! My girlfriend was so delighted with the presentation and quality and I looked like a hero. Great service, selection and quality. Would highly recommend!

I was so pleased with the service that I received using Bruce’s flowers. I called late in the day and asked for a fresh bouquet to be delivered to my Aunt who was in the hospital. The woman that I spoke with as kind as could be. She told me that if she could catch the delivery man she would have the flowers delivered later that day and if not in the morning. Within a few hours my Aunt called to thank me for the beautiful bouquet. She described the bouquet and it sounded perfect...just what I had asked for! I found this florist to be reasonable priced and very accommodating. Even if the flowers were delivered in the morning I would give it 5 stars.

We worked with Bruce's Flowers for our corporate holiday party and they were INCREDIBLY accommodating and helpful, especially when it came to bringing our vision to life while keeping within our desired budget. They were fast to respond when I had questions, changes, etc. and they created the most beautiful arrangements for the tables! Attendees were actually competing for the arrangements at the end of the night to ensure they were able to bring one home!! I only trust Bruce's Flowers for our corporate events!

Main Connection

Poor! I called at 3:30 ... admittedly a half hour before closing. The guy tells me the employee has their key in the door..and they can't put anything together for me...and won't make a delivery to the door literally right next to them. Business must be good when it's no problem to blow off a customer. I buy, or should I say bought, flowers from here several times a year. I guess it's not enough to qualify me for reasonable customer service. I suggest making your employees work until closing time..but..that's just me.

I have used Bruce's 4-5 times now. This last time that I used Bruce's I ordered Blue Hydrangeas to celebrate someone's signing with a company whose main color was blue. Unfotrunately, pink hydrangeas were sent in its place. I called the store and talked with the owner and he had blue flowers sent to her on the same day. Therefore, I would absolutely recommend this location; however, I would insist on talking to an associate on specific instructions as "may be substituted" could cause the intent of the gift to change.

I contacted Bruce's to provide flowers for my company's Grand Opening party on September 20. It was my first time ordering from them. I was able to reach the owner right away, and he gave me excellent suggestions about how to get the best value for my budget. I e-mailed them a copy of the diagram for the arrangements and drop off a check without the usual drama of sitting down and having to go through the details line by line as many other florists have asked me to in the past. The arrangements arrived on time, were true to my color scheme, and as a compliment, exceeded my budget without charge. Guests commented on them throughout my event saying they were gorgeous, and some people asked to take them home. The arrangements lasted well beyond the next week so my customers could enjoy them at our store. Overall, my experience at Bruce's was excellent, better quality than any other local option for the same amount of money, and they exceeded my budget which I appreciated. Go there, you will not be disappointed!

Me and the wife didn’t get the satisfaction of being helped properly by both gentleman at the flower store. Don’t go here they have a poor selection of plants and flowers and will overcharge you. Drove all the way from NYC to be disappointed I felt bad for my wife she was really looking forward to finding something nice for a wedding.
