Warning, do not trust this company for the most important day of your life! Being a business owner myself, if I treated my customers the way Travis treats her customers, we would not be in business. I really do not know how Travis can sleep at night, doing what she does to her customers. Over the course of about 4 months, we went through 3-4 designers and pricing and design changed each time. In the end, Travis met with us and assured us that she would honor the original price. With about 9 days before the wedding, she then came back and said she could not do what we wanted for the quoted price, but did not give us any examples of what we would receive for that price. My daughter in law was very specific in what she wanted, and did not know what she was going to receive. After leaving a message to Travis, letting her know that I expected her to come through with what she promised, she phoned me and screamed at me and basically told me, we could not speak to her or any of her staff, everything will be done by email. At that point, we decided, we could not do business with this company. We decided, regardless of the stress to find another florist, in a short period of time, that was better than dealing with Travis and Bella Calla. In the end, we found a florist, that came through for us for half the price and the flowers were gorgeous and exactly what my daughter in law wanted. Travis also kept all of our money for a service she never provided to us. You tell me, what is the right thing to do?

I called the shop today to place an order and was treated like a friend. The lady who helped me was so patient and friendly. She made something I had been not been looking forward to doing (ordering a sympathy arrangement) pain free and even made me laugh a couple of times. I received photos of the arrangement and then notification that it was received. My mom loved the fresh floral arrangement and she said she could tell it had been made with love and care. Beautiful flowers and great customer service. I found Bella Calla online, thought the arrangements on their site were gorgeous, and hoped that the positive reviews were an accurate indicator of quality. They were! I ordered a "Rustic Box," and on the morning of delivery, I received a very thoughtful call from one of the arrangers to get my approval to substitute one color of flower for another. (If I'd preferred the original color, they would've waited until the shipment of that color arrived.) I told them I trusted them to substitute appropriately, and an hour or so later, the friend to whom I'd sent the flowers texted me a picture of the stunning and overflowing box of flowers she'd received. I would definitely recommend Bella Calla and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

AMAZING experience, from start to finish! Before consulting, and ultimately hiring Bella Calla for our wedding, I knew nothing about flowers. I knew I wanted them, and that was about it. Upon meeting with Lilli at Bella Calla, she helped me create the ultimate vision I wanted. I put all my trust in her and it certainly paid off. Never once, did she dismiss my request to use unconditional materials in the bouquets and centerpieces, in fact, she welcomed the challenge. Lilli always communicated with me throughout the process, and even answered questions and offered advice on matters that weren’t even floral related. Bella Call also has rentals, so we were able to rent the Chuppah through her as well. Our ceremony and reception was at an art gallery, and Bella Calla really impressed us with their creative designs. The men had their boutonnieres made out of paper (music sheet music, since they are all musicians) and there was wire incorporated into my bouquet for a more industrial feel. I highly recommend Bella Calla for any event that requires centerpieces, flowers, etc. Lilli and her staff were 100% professional and reliable from day one. Even if the ideas of flowers and decorations intimidate you, give them a call, and she will walk though the process with you. Thank you Bella Calla!!!

I've always heard that a wedding day can't be perfect; the band plays the wrong music, a guest drinks too much, the toasts take too long, etc. Well, I can honestly say that my wedding day was perfect, and that everything went off without a hitch thanks to Lilli's help. I first found Lilli during my search for a florist. Her flowers were beautiful--her artistry superb--but it was her work ethic that was most impressive. I hired her on-the-spot as both my florist and day-of-coordinator, and I can say with conviction that it was the best decision that I made for the wedding. Lilli began her coordination services a month before the wedding, organizing a timeline for our ceremony/reception, as well as a master list of all of our vendors. She also worked out all vendor related kinks, and ensured that all vendors were on the same page. In short, Lilli made the month before the wedding a breeze, saving me--a Grad student going through finals--so much headache. Now during the wedding Lilli (and her assistant florist) really shined. Throughout the night Lilli was the liaison between myself and the other vendors, ensuring that no one bothered me or the wedding party with last minute questions or concerns. Her assistant was also kind enough to run to a grocery store during the reception to buy me something to settle my stomach. The flowers were impeccable: they were fresh, fragrant, and incredibly lustrous. The floral arrangements (which Lilli had sketched out for me) were more beautiful than I could have imagined. In all, Lilli and her assistant ran the show discreetly and seamlessly, helping my wedding be the perfect day I had not thought possible! If you are in the market for both a florist and a planner, I urge you to sit down with Lilli. Her work ethic and beautiful flowers certainly sell themselves, but I would like this review to serve as a personal endorsement from a very happy bride. Thanks for everything Lilli!

For the second year in a row, Bella Calla has done a great job on my daughter-in-law's birthday. These guys go way above and beyond - super responsive, super gorgeous styling. ***Edited Review- the owner has reached out to me to make the situation right and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of after the inconvenience, which she was not present for. I was given wrong care information from a previous employee and it does not accurately reflect the quality of the shop as a whole. I ordered a bouquet on June 1 for my sisters wedding on June 10. Since the shop would be closed on Sunday, they said I had to pick it up Saturday night. I told them the wedding wasn't until 5 on Sunday and they ensured it would be okay. I payed $226 after tax that day, they took notes and a picture of what I wanted- I specifically requested IN the notes no burlap. I pick it up on Saturday, its wrapped in burlap- whatever they re wrapped it not a big deal.. I requested water to transport it home in and was told no- and that it would be fine. I was super worried about how it would hold up and asked for detailed care instructions- was told to NOT refrigerate or cool it, to put it in a shady, cool place of my house in little water JUST at the end under the wrap. So I did. When I got home 30 min later, my boyfriend noticed some of the peonies were already starting to wilt and I was hoping they were just opening... the next day, I kept it in fresh water and a cool shady place but 3 of the peonies were completely wilted along with all of the other pretty greenery special requested. I had to cut it all off before my sister walked down the aisle with it.

Bella Calla more than exceeded my expectations for my wedding. They were a dream to work with! Even the consultation blew my mind! So many options and so much creativity! It took a little while but we really came together on a design that felt just like I wanted it to feel. And everything was sooo gorgeous! When I finally saw the flowers I just couldn’t help but cry. You can see what they do on their web page, but seeing it in person on your wedding day and being able to smell and touch the flowers. It was just mind blowing! They are truly amazing and the definition of 5 star service. Did I mention they stayed through the ceremony to make sure everything stayed awesome? Totally, totally 5 star service. Highly recommend.

This shop is absolutely, hands-down, the BEST floral shop in Denver. I am shocked at some of the reviews by 'customers' and their significant others. It is a shame that a person can have a communication challenge and then leave a negative story on Facebook. I personally know a couple of employees that work here and I think they have amazing talent in design and the customer service they provide is second to none, to the flowers and pots they have in stock - there is such a wide range of options. They way I see it, some of the reviewers may be former employees who are not happy about not being part of the new found success and want to undermine the store or customers who did not get their way. Regardless, my experiences (more than one) have been great. They are knowledgable, fast, and friendly. Go into the shop and meet these people!

Their customer service is great! I ordered a flower crown for a bridal shower and received it 2 hours earlier than was agreed on (had a set time so the flowers would stay fresh longer) and it did not look at all like what I wanted/described. I called the shop and they quickly remedied it and got the new one delivered straight to the venue, which was typically out of their delivery zone. They even texted me a photo of it before delivery to make sure it was what I wanted. The new crown was beautiful and the bride-to-be loved it. Customer service like this is what makes all the difference, I would definitely recommend this shop.

I hate sending second rate arrangements or run of the mill flowers, I'm always looking for something unique and special to give. I found Bella Calla on Google and was excited to find they offer a variety of gifts including terrariums and succulent planters. I ordered the Bias Cut Glass Terrarium. Best online flower delivery service I've encountered. Bought flowers for my wife's birthday. Website is easy to use and arrangements appear as advertised. All kinds of cool confirmations and notifications of when delivery begins and when the item is delivered; something I've not seen before but really appreciated during a busy work-day. This was a high-profile event and our previously scheduled florist dropped the ball four days prior to the event! I ordered an arrangement online late Sunday night for my mom's 80th birthday on Monday (today). This morning I received a text with a picture (so brave!!) of the arrangement with a promise that it will be delivered today. The flowers were abundant and fresh, but the colors were different than I was expecting. I gave this feedback, not so that it would be changed, just being honest. Travis, the owner, promptly texted back apologizing that the arrangement didn't have "the same vibe" - perfectly captured my feelings. The flowers are beautiful & upgraded with some stargazer lilies. My mom will love them and I will recommend and use Bella Calla any time! All the best!

Terrible experience - New Ownership!!! I've been a loyal customer for years and had an awful experience with Mother's Day flowers. I had placed an order for delivery on Sunday 5/12, Mother's Day then emailed a request to have this date changed to Saturday, 5/11. A woman named "Mrs.Travis Martin", the new owner, emailed confirmation of this change. Saturday came and went and my Mother's Day flowers were not delivered. I emailed "Mrs. Martin" (she calls herself this) and was told they went according to my original order and she asked if I still wanted it delivered, which of course I did! Flowers were delivered at 2:30pm the next day and my parents sent me photos. I had upgraded the arrangement to "Deluxe" but what was delivered was completely remedial, dying, had cheap flowers and was totally uninspired. The vase was not even close to the one shown in the photo, but a clear, cheap glass, and I could have picked up this same arrangement at a Kroger market, for a quarter of the price. I've owned and run a high end floral design business and know big holidays like Mother's Day can get a bit chaotic but the customer service, attention to detail and final work product were very poor. The new owner of Bella Calla, was mean and extraordinarily rude to me, hung up on me and I noticed on the BBB website that another person had a very similar experience. I feel I was scammed and will never order from here again!

Coolest. Thing. EVER! I ordered this succulent hanger from Bella Calla to be sent to my friend for her B-day in Denver (I live in Indiana). I'm always hesitant of putting in my email because I'm a millennial that's in marketing that doesn't subscribe to a lot of random sites for fear of *gasp* spamming! But I did it. And I'm SO GLAD THAT I DID! Because they sent me this email with a PICTURE OF MY ORDER after they were done hand crafting it! Ordered a wedding bouquet 3 weeks in advance. The day before they tell us they can't get what we ordered. This is the inspiration picture and what they made for $140. Their $35 center pieces look 100x better. Very disappointed. Edited: I have the correct place, it was $160 not $140 and the reason it was cheaper is we called it an "elopement" not a wedding bouquet. I understand there are new owners of this business, I can tell by the quality going down hill in the last few months. The owner left her phone number on my other review and told me to call her and she would fix it. I immediately called and got no answer, I left a message, she never returned my call. That was over a month ago. This lady is not interested in fixing the problem, she's just trying to hide it and say my review is not accurate, it's a lie. The picture I posted is the picture their florist took and sent me to say it was ready. I have the reciept and can prove it.

Edit: Not sure what the owner is talking about. The bank ruled in favor of my dispute over a month ago. The owner lied on multiple occasions about the status of our order and refused to provide a refund when it was clear things aren’t working out. Finally I disputed the last payment after getting nowhere so she cancelled the contract for totally bogus reasons and tried to keep the money. Happy to hear they are out of business! That’s what you get for treating people poorly.

Don't ignore the large number of negative reviews. The owner is a nightmare. Look at these fake reviews. 3 accounts left 5 star reviews of Bella Calla's Colorado Springs locations and 1 star reviews of Meryl Wolff's business after she left a negative review 3 days ago. There are 7 negative reviews of Meryl Wolff's business in the past 3 days from fake accounts that have also reviewed Bella Calla, including reviews from Travis herself. Crazy! My experience was totally unrelated and just as awful, I just happened to notice this. She's going to claim that she doesn't have me listed as a customer, but yeah, I don't want her harassing me.

I ordered two arrangements for same day delivery and both times the shop sent me photos of the custom designs and planters prior to sending out to get my approvals. I didn't need to think twice about saying yes before sending them off. Deliveries were both on time and they offer a tracking system via text message to follow the delivery. They really want to help. They want to make you happy. They really want to make your moments great. My very private man who holds his cards very, very close was so moved that he posted a photo of the arrangement on social media. My jaw dropped. Was driving around town and came across Bella so I decided to stop by and check them out. I usually get my flower arrangements from More Flowers (2501 15th St # 1A, Denver, CO 80211) but decided to give Bella a try. The woman who helped me was nice and helpful. I asked for a $20 flower arrangement and got a nice but small flower arrangement. So basically it was $5 a flower. I asked More Flowers for the same $20 flower arrangement and it seems that I was given more flowers with a better variety. Attached are several pictures of the arrangement. It's not a bad arrangement, it's just a little on the flimsy side. I probably wouldn't go back and continue going to More Flowers.

My family and I booked the Terrarium Making Class on the Thursday after Christmas this year; we are from all over, but were home visiting my parents. I found this class online back in October and had originally booked it for just my mom and I. Then Christmas came around and I ended up purchasing a spot for my sister as well. Once the rest of my family heard about our plans, they called and made reservations for that same evening! The team at Bella Calla was so accommodating and prepared! We had a group of eight, and everything felt so special and personalized, despite our large group size. Amber was supportive but also allowed us to be independent in discovering our own personal aesthetic! After posting many pictures on social media, many friends from all over were so intrigued and have made reservations to take their own class! It was such a special evening for my family, as we don't get to do much together anymore. We so loved the experience and the terrariums we took home were all so unique and beautiful!

Both my brother and his wife love the woodsy and rustic theme and Bella Calla sent the most beautiful terrarium with succulents accented by kiwi vines. I LOVED the blue stones in between the plants. EDIT: Sadly I must edit my original five-star review from 2 years ago. Ordered a bouquet for delivery after mother's day...it was never delivered and when I called near 5pm I was told it had been forgotten but that it would be delivered the following day. For whatever reason they ended up rushing it out that day. Bouquet was pretty, but sadly wilted and spent after about three days. Had to ask for a replacement, was initially told after providing photos that the water was dirty and this was not the florist's problem (understandable). Both myself and my mom communicated that the water was dirty because I asked mom to leave the flowers just as they were until I could come snap photos...water had in fact been refreshed multiple times. After much back-and-forth, a second bouquet was sent out, with visibly browning peonies and roses. I won't be using them again. I sure hope the owners take this to heart instead of arguing with me on the internet about it, as many folks do with unfavorable reviews these days. . . . Exceptionally helpful and friendly customer service - I am just thrilled and will use again. I called this morning, spoke with Ashley (thank you so much!) - she was able to take my order over the phone and schedule a delivery to my mother this afternoon. The blooms are gorgeous...really everything you would hope for from a local florist. Would highly recommend!

I just have to share MY experience. I do not typically get into the social media feedback thing but I feel that this shop deserves it so here I go. I called the shop on a Friday evening to order a bouquet to be sent to my daughter for her birthday. She lives in Denver. I live in San Diego. The florist I spoke with was courtesy and told me they received an airport shipment of flowers that day and the arrangement would be delivered fresh. When I received the "BLOOM SNAP" I could not believe my eyes. The flowers looked gorgeous. I received another message telling me the arrangement had been delivered. I am extremely disappointed with this business. The previous owner donated a gift certificate to a cause to help addicts in recovery. I bid on the gift certificate for a terrarium making class for two. Was looking forward to going and doing it with my bestie. I had called multiple times and spoke with multiple people to try and get it set up. When I finally was able to nail down a day (with Angela, who was super helpful) and when I emailed the owner about it to set it up, I was informed that they were no longer honoring those gift certificates. Do not use!!!! I used Bella calls for a wedding and what I got was pathetic. The bridal bouquet was fantastic however the centrepieces looked like a 5 year old had pulled weeds from a garden. I ordered 9 centrepieces showed up to pick them up and they had only made 5. I was then forced to use leftover flowers to make the other 4. I had ordered glass vases to use in the centrepieces as well, they didn't have enout of the vases I ordered so used other ones they had on hand however they failed to tell me this before the day of the wedding. Complete joke of a company.

Worst experience I've ever had with a florist. I ordered $500 worth of flower arrangements for a baby shower. I received an email confirming the order and delivery day. The shower started at 5 pm and around 3 pm, the flowers still had not been delivered. I called Bella Calla and the manager told me the flowers would not be delivered until 7 or 8 pm because all of her drivers quit. The notes for this order said the flowers needed to be delivered by 1:30 pm as the event started at 5 pm. The manager confirmed this, and said too bad she couldn't do it. I asked her to have the owner contact me. The owner reached out only by email to say that the order had come in wrong and that it wasn't her fault. However, I had an email receipt with the order and price of $500. She insisted it wasn't correct on her end and that she only new about 1/3 of the order (she never addressed that the flowers were not going to be delivered until after the party was over). However I was charged the full $500, so her comments don't make sense. Both the manager and owner acted as thought they were the victims and couldn't understand why I was so upset. Save yourself a huge hassle, avoid poor service, and find another florist.

Stay away!!! Owner from hell and the most horrible experience imaginable! I called to place an order for my best friend’s birthday. I wanted to make it extra special, so I spent $194.85 on flower arrangement, bloody Mary mix, horseradish pickles and delivery. I was super excited as I loved their webpage, flower arrangements, plus the person on the phone was super nice as he was taking my order and promising to deliver at the latest by 3pm. To my disappointment I received the notification after 4pm that my gift just went out for delivery. I immediately called and the owner picked up the phone. I asked what the policy for the delivery was since it was guaranteed by 3pm as I thought my friend had already left work and was no longer there. She said that if the person receiving the flower arrangement is not present than they bring the flower arrangement back to the store and call the client for further instructions. I was disappointed they didn’t deliver on time, but figured Bella Calla can deliver flowers and gifts to my friend’s home instead of work. As I was waiting I called another two times to confirm everything was as we discussed. While I was on the phone the owner received a call from the driver stating that he dropped my order off even though my friend has already left work and wasn’t there. At that point, the owner told me that there is nothing further she can do to help. It is what it is and she was too busy to waist her time staying on the phone with me. I mentioned that I think she should refund the money the owner of Bella Calla said she would refund in full and hang up on me. Next day there was no refund processed, my friend said that bloody Mary mix and horseradish pickles were never delivered at all. I called the store again to be told that the owner is going to call me back. She called me back after 12pm threatening that our phone conversation is being recorded and the only way to refund the money is for her to go pick up the flower arrangement that was meant to be my friend’s birthday present. She is not going to honor anything she promised when we talked the day before. I then asked her what the policy of the store is. She replied she is the owner, she makes her own policy and does what she wants. To add insult to injury she told me she never wants to hear back from me, and I am not allowed to call her store ever again. What should be an awesome surprise and fabulous gift for my friend’s birthday, turned into me calling my friend telling her that her birthday present is going to be taken back. I don’t wish this upon anyone.

My brother ordered $80 bouquet for my birthday and “Awesome locally made truffles!” for mu birthday. The flowers were delivered, but nobody even mentioned the “awesome truffles” I called my brother and he asked about truffles. After realizing that order was not completed, he contacted the owner. The most upsetting was not the error with the truffles delivery, but how it was recovered. The owner was not available (I guess she was getting married) and her response was indicated that she will follow up when she will be back. I wish her the best, but you can’t run the business like that. If you can’t fix your mistakes because of the personal reason, don’t accept the orders during this time. The issue was not with the error, but with the way how it was not recovered. I called the shop. Somebody confirmed that the order was not completed and offered me to receive the truffles OR to refund money. Please, keep in mind that it was not a $20 order and it was placed from Europe. My brother wanted to send a special present for my birthday, not earlier or later, based on the owner availability. Again, what is upsetting, is not the error, but poor recovery. I wish them to think about this situation and improve their customer service in the future

Oh my gosh. You have been warned, this is the worst experience with a company I have ever had in my entire life. I sent this email on the day my mother received her flowers. No one contacted me for a week so I posted this email as a review. The shop owner Travis, contacted me and then apologized and said she would give me a complementary order. I took down the review immediately. I emailed Travis this week to ask her to please send an arrangement to my grandmother because her sister just passed away. Travis argued with me and threatened to SUE me. Please please please, never step foot in this shop. I regret that flower order so much. "My mom did receive her flowers today but honestly, I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Bella Calla for this order. At the start, everything seemed easy and perfect, but beginning this week at every point the service and product went downhill. I called days ago to see if the order could be moved up a day and I was thankfully surprised that it could be. However, when I emailed a map and delivery instructions I received an email saying they did not know what my order was and asked for my payment information. This did not give me much confidence in the organization of the company and I did not appreciate that someone could not look up my order and that I had to personally call and give my credit card information before that could be cleared up. Then, I got an email saying they could not deliver the flowers because there was no one by that name at the hospital, and when I asked if they referenced the detailed instructions I set days ago they said they did not. At that point, I asked for the photos of the flowers the said they would send me and those never came. The flowers were delivered in the afternoon, but my mother was no longer there, so she had to drive to the hospital from Denver because the flowers were not delivered when I asked them to be. Finally, when my mother sent me a photo I was upset because they in no way looked like the mixed pastel flowers I was promised. I specifically ask that there be no red flowers (see the beginning of this email thread) and I asked that I be sent pictures of the arrangement beforehand so I could see if I liked the colors and style. All of this was agreed upon when I originally ordered the flowers and I never received pictures and I am not pleased with the style or colors. Overall I have received very poor service from Bella Calla and I expected a much more professional business. I have attached images of the mixed pastel flowers on your website and the photo my mother sent me so you can see why I do not think they have the same feel. Thank you, "

I used them for my wedding. The succulents were smaller than they should have been, they forgot to put out the Mr and Mrs signs on the back of our chairs that we paid over $100 for. They lost many people in the 6 months I worked with them and we had to start over with new people constantly. It took them forever to set up the arch and flowers at my venue and they were still setting up quite close to when the ceremony started. The owner seems overwhelmed and is rude. I have a friend getting married and thought I’d give them a second chance, 2 more of the people I worked with their emails don’t exist and my email bounced back, I then got in touch with the owner and her response was “did you have a question, your email is blank” literally that’s all the email said, She did not introduce herself and was incredibly short. I wrote back my original email and then I had a friend who was planning a wedding and that they had done my wedding. I wrote my friends budget and all she wrote back was we cannot help you with that budget. It is not a low budget, my friend needs six centerpieces but are quite small a bridal bouquet and boutonniere and she can’t do this for $1000. That’s 7 arrangements, which makes each one over $100. I even offered to pick them up and transport them to the location. I asked her to please send me some prices to which she responded “peonies are 11 to 17 apiece“ and that was the only thing in her other email. She then told me that I was being unprofessional when she is the one being unprofessional. She warned me that I should watch how I speak to potential vendors. It’s quite hilarious because I planned my own wedding and had the best relationship with all of my vendors except them clearly the problem is not me it is her. It was clear she did not want to work with us and that was the end of my communication. I will never refer anyone to this place again. If you don’t want florist drama leading up to and on your wedding day I would not recommend this place!

I live in Dallas and ordered these for my friend who lives in Denver online! The process was super simple and they had a great selection. On the day of the delivery they sent me a picture (text) of the arrangement before it was delivered And let me know when it was out for delivery and when it was at the doorstep! My best friend loved it! According to her roommate, she squealed! The arrangement was so much prettier than your typical floral delivery! So glad I chose Bella Calla!

During planning, my fiance made it clear that the only thing he wanted to make sure of was that his love for fly fishing was somehow incorporated into our wedding. The Bella Calla team went above and beyond to create stunning boutonnieres which included fly fishing flies. I chose the Gorgeous Fresh Mix, Designer's Choice so I didn't really know what to expect. They texted me the morning of delivery to confirm the address too. JUST PERFECT! I live in Sacramento, CA and wanted to send flowers to someone special who had just started a new career in Denver, CO. I found Bella Calla Floral online and decided to give the company my business. I looked through the gallery of photos and found an arrangement I liked. I didn't call until nearly noon, and asked if the arrangement could be delivered the same day. The person I spoke to said "Of course!" About an hour and a half later, I received a picture of the arrangement. It looked exactly like the picture i had viewed and was LOVELY. By 2:30 p.m., the arrangement had been delivered. When I talked to my son that night, he said my daughter-in-law had not received the flowers. I texted Bella Calla and received (that same night!) a picture of the arrangement sitting on the reception desk at her place of business. What service! And the texts I received were friendly, professional and very, very helpful. Bella Calla's arrangements use interesting and uncommon flowers and greens. I couldn't be happier!
