had to change the delivery date, no verification of actual change however they couldn't even deliver the flowers in a timely many even though the delivery address is literally 2 blocks away... then I called to cancel the order and got hung up on... never again will I order from this place for any occasion.

If I could give this business negative stars, I would. My fiance ordered a flower arrangement from them at 8 AM to be delivered to me at work on Valentine's Day by 4 PM. When I never received them, he called their 800 number which says that he won a cruise for two to the Bahamas. Can you say "SCAM?" He then called their local number at least four times and spoke to Lisbeth, who didn't seem to know or care about what happened. She put him on hold several times for at least five minutes at a time because she couldn't "find" his order. Once she "found" his order she then had to locate the driver. He finally had to cancel the order because I was no longer at work. He asked for a receipt to be emailed to him stating that he was given a full refund. After two hours, he never received his receipt. I then called them to express my dissatisfaction and ask for a receipt for the refund. Lisbeth stating that she didn't need to explain anything to me and she would refund his card when she "had time." At no point did she apologize or give any indication that she felt badly for ruining this wonderful surprise.

If you need flowers in a timely manner, look elsewhere. I had a TERRIBLE experience with The Flower Company. We ordered flowers for my grandfathers funeral through them which they delivered IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS SERVICE! When we got the church prior to the funeral & realized the flowers had not been delivered we started calling and were repeatedly lied to & assured they were on the way. The embarrassment of having no flowers to lay our decorated war veteran to rest was as heavy as our grief. The delivery driver interrupted the service coming in & just setting the display by the front door. But wait! It gets worse.... When I called The Flower Company afterward the woman who answered was rude & unapologetic. Instead of just apologizing, she made one excuse after another trying to displace the blame. She never apologized once. When I asked to speak with the supervisor I was told they would get back to me the following Monday which they never did. Really bottom of the barrel disappointing service.
