Rather than using the numerous online operations selling flowers, I recently made the decision to throw my consumer dollar behind local, independent businesses that actively support the community they serve - even when I myself live thousands of miles away. The most important woman in the world to me, lives in Strelitzia’s community, thus I call on them when sending her beautiful, fragrant blooms. She says the flowers they artfully arrange and deliver are the best she receives from anywhere. This is all the endorsement I need to trust them with such an important job.

Being a Davis resident, I had been a long time customer of Strelitzia Flowers when I needed floral arrangements for special occasions. So when it came to deciding who to trust with our floral needs for our wedding, it was a easy choice to turn to them for this as well. My wife and I knew the center piece flower that we wanted and what colors we were using, but that was it. And I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about flowers, especially when it comes to organizing large arrangements that would compliment each other. We went into their store and were immediately greeted by a very welcoming sales associate. Once we explained our reason for coming in, she introduced us to Letitia (Tish) who, from that moment on, dedicated her time to making our vision into a reality. Tish was very knowledgeable and helped pair our vague ideals with truly beautiful flowers. She took the time to really understand what we were looking for by going through photos we had brought in for inspiration. While my wife and I had all these big ideas for floral designs, we also had a budget we needed to follow. Tish was very understanding and accommodating, making sure that all the ideas she proposed were going to be realistic options as well as beautiful. I was happy with every interaction and correspondence that happened between us and Tish leading up to the big day. I knew that she understood our vision and would deliver breath taking arrangements that would really accent our ceremony and reception. When I arrived on site, I was truly blown away; Tish and her crew went totally above and beyond my expectations! It was evident that she put an exceptional amount of thought and care into creating the perfect scene for our celebration. Nice people, but my order was changed with out notifications . I ordered silver dollar eucalyptus table runners for a wedding and received regular small leaf eucalyptus. They told me because of the rain they couldn’t get silver dollar but they could get small leaf eucalyptus leaves. It seems like to me some one didn’t place my order on time.The eucalyptus we received was the wrong color so it looked dark and wimpy on the tables. I ordered a silver dollar table runner from this company before it turn out beautiful. So disappointed. I wish they would of communicated something to me about a substitute before. I will not use them again

We went to strelitzia for our flowers for our wedding and we were so very happy with them. My husband has been going to them for years so we already knew the quality was great. Tish worked closely with us regarding all of our needs for the wedding. Robin did an amazing job on my hair pin and my bouquet and was so incredibly nice. Everyone at strelitzia was so nice and helpful. Oh and I also forgot to mention the price was also fantastic. You will not regret hiring them for any floral arrangements and /or designs.

My boyfriend ordered flowers for my birthday from Strelitzia and they arrived a week too early BUT they then delivered a free bunch on my birthday! The flowers were absolutely stunning and they even went out of their way to put in Iceland poppies (my favourite flower). The customer service was phenomenal. I highly recommend Strelitzia.

We had our boutonnieres and corsages for our wedding party done by Strelitzia. Samantha was very friendly and helpful through the process. They were able to get our visions created perfectly and even created arrangements for our dogs as well. Very happy with how they turned out!

Strelitzia always delivers (see what I did there?!). They’ve got a broad selection, great service, and a convenient website for browsing and purchasing. I hate to say it but I think their prices could be a WEE bit lower, but supply vs demand and paying employees...so it goes. Ordered some flowers for my sick fiancé last minute and they arrived by early afternoon. I WOULD like to know where their flowers are sourced from; not cause I’m some hippy dippy organic person, but I am just naturally curious about that stuff and think it could enhance the experience (for some)
