Our office purchased an English Garden Basket for an ill coworker. The flowers were stunning and the cost ($135 out the door) was very comparable to other companies given the size and complexity of the arrangement. It had roses, peonies, orchids, and the basket was wrapped in fresh ivy. Overall, they were the prettiest I had seen.

My experience with high end florist was the worst. My parents would always tell me “How they see you, they treat you” as a child I would always try to see the positive side to things, but with this experience I finally understood that that saying was true. I was literally 1 foot away from entering their flower shop, 2 hours before they closed, when all of a sudden this tall white woman locked the door in my face, turned around, and walked away. I really wonder what explanation she had to give to me; we had 2 hours to shop there, she had no customers, she was not busy, she was standing behind the front desk just looking down. What explanation could you have to be rude enough to lock the door right in front of your customers face? Ignorant people like this don’t even get me mad, they make me sad. Just because I was wearing a hoodie and some jeans does not mean I can’t afford shopping there. But if it was a huge celebrity, would they shut the door on them? I have to say I used to look up to Mark’s Garden but know i have no respect for them.
