Swap-meet style setup, so offerings cone from a variety of vendors that all source their flowers from different parts of the world. There are also vendors that sell potted live plants as well. Need a new case to put your flowers in? Don't panic, you'll find a huge selection at prices you will not find anywhere else. Oh yeah, they have a HUGE sale on Valentine's Day and are open 24 hours leading up to that day.

I have to give it one less star only because I can't stand downtown especially in the older section where I just feel so unsafe. BUT, what are they going to do, move? The Flower Mart costs $2 to enter and the flowers there....to die for. We went to plan out flowers for a wedding and I feel in love with a few of the rose vendors. I highly suggest checking this out of you have a big event.

Biggest flower market in the country. If you like flowers you'll love the flower market! Awesome selection of all types of cut flowers, pot plants, vases, etc at great prices. You can visit and buy flowers as a guest - but get there early to see market at it's full buzz. Most vendors close by noon and some even earlier than that. Many vendors don't advertise their prices, so you can try to haggle a bit or find one that has prices out. Take the lift to the rooftop parking lot for a good view of the city.

The best place to get flowers for ANY event. It was cheaper for me to get fresh flowers here than to buy fake silk ones. I highly recommend Ted's Evergreens (who also has flowers). I bought a small Fabian tree there for $15 for my wedding ceremony, 4 boxes (about 40 bunches) of hydrangeas for $190, and my bouquet flowers (3 kinds) for $20. Get there early for the best pick!

So many flowers such beautiful smell of cut fowers everywhere. Every flower you can think of can be found here very reasonable prices.Great quality flowers trees and shrubs and plants. Trinkets vases bowls garden ornaments you name it is here. Highly recomend going early as many are florists are closed by around 12 .As they start so early ,open to public after 8am is a couple of bucks entry fee but is well worth it, as the flowers cost you less .Are fresher than anywhere else and so last a very long time. I got my flowers from here for my Wedding back in 2001 and have been going here ever since.

Early bird gets the worm! The Flower District is a must do in LA and make sure you get there early. The sheer variety of flowers (and aromas) is an almost overwhelming experience and it's so nice to not have to overpay for flowers. Will definitely come back!

If you're making the center pieces for your wedding or a party, this is a fantastic place to buy your flowers, but get there early to get the best selections, and if you're buying alot of flowers, bring a wagon to pull them in. There's a farmers market every Saturday from 10am - 3pm filled with booths, live music, and people buying flowers and assortments of plants. Great place to bring the family. Typical LA vibe. Only downside you might encounter is parking.

Best place to get roses, pom pom, and plenty of varieties I don't know. Very big and clean. A small admission fee and limited hours for public. Parking is expensive but worth it if you buying a tone of flowers. Just smell the roses.

The LA Flower market is one of my favourite places to visit in LA. If you are allergic to pollen or flowers be sure to steer clear because this is a massive place full of flowers. It's a bit more expensive than purchasing flowers at wholesale prices, but there are so many varieties of flowers and plants, and you can get large bouquets for comparatively low costs than at other locations. I would recommend not entering the market through the Maple St. entrance as there is a large homeless camp and sometimes they can be aggressive.

I've never written a Google review before...ever. But today I feel that I must for their exceptional service. My dad called them an hour before closing to see if they would be able to prepare something ASAP for my brother's graduation, which is tomorrow. His school is 4 hours up north and we would be leaving at 5am in the morning to make it in time for graduation. Honestly, we expected to be rejected with either it's too late or too busy because it's graduation season and such but they were so accommodating and the flowers were beautiful! I am SO satisfied with their service and the flowers. Can't wait to give them to my brother tomorrow!

Incredible selection of flowers, plants, and foliage. If you're not buying in bulk, prices for retail shoppers range from amazing bargain to overpriced (sometimes you can find the same flowers cheaper at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods because those stores buy wholesale) so it pays to have a general idea of what things cost. Usually flowers are fresh and last a long time, but you get what you pay for. Beware the bargain that seems too good to be true. I've rued more than one purchase of $6 hydrangeas that wilted the day after I brought them home. Two things I love about the place, it smells lovely and is always cool inside, even in the middle of summer. The flower market is an LA institution; everyone should go at least once.

This place is great, but you have to make sure you get there EARLY! I'm talkimg 6am early. I got there at 9 am on a Friday and a lot of the vendors were already packing up for the day even though it says they're open till 1. New product comes in on Mondays so that's the best day to go for the freshest and best choices if can make it there. There are also plant vendors there if you're looking for a new tree if fern. There are lots of options. Make sure you walk around and price things out first. It's a great place to stroll around if you just want to look, but parking is $10 and entry is $2 cash if you're not a member.

Flower Market itself (the section where you need to buy a ticket) is worth a visit. There are plenty of nice people who allow you to take photos of their merchandise. Prices are also competitive. You will see people shopping for weddings and other large events, but feel free to make small purchases yourself. The surrounding area has really gone off the deep end. I've never seen so many homeless people. There is a lot of paid parking nearby so just cruise around and look.
