I ordered flowers from here and the recipient works on the 45th floor of an office building right in the heart of downtown. Manuela from Bed of Roses not only made the delivery (at the time I had requested might I add), she also kept in contact with me through email to let me know the status of the delivery. The flowers were beautiful, even better than they looked on the website. The recipient said they were so fresh they still had water droplets on them when she recieved them. I would definitely order from Bed of Roses again and highly recommend them over other local florists.

This review is for the flower arranging classes offered at A Bed of Roses. Prior to the class, Manuela was incredibly accommodating of my needs and responsive to my inquiries, as the class date was 3 days before my pregnancy due date. On the class date, we were able to park in the driveway of her home, for the class she held in her garage workshop. Manuela offered wine and water to all the class participants, and had a wide variety of flowers to choose from for the type of arrangement being taught for the specific class. She provided all supplies in addition to flowers. The class was structured with a teaching segment and a practical segment. After demonstrating the type of arrangement we were to make and the techniques involved, we began our own arrangements. Manuela was a very interactive instructor, asking questions and promoting analytical thinking regarding the floral concepts, and assisting as we proceeded to make our individual arrangements. She was quite friendly and kind throughout. There were two things that could have improved the experience. It would be nice, I'm sure on both sides, if we were able to include all fees (tax and tip, etc) either electronically or in the full cost of the class, instead of separately upon arrival. I would have also loved to have more time, either to reconsider how I was arranging my own flowers, or receive feedback (from Manuela or through self-reflection of what was taught) about something I wasn't doing properly. As it was, the fun and delightful hour we spent in class seemed quite short! Overall, we had a fantastic time!

I sent a surprise gift from Bed of Roses to a client of mine for his birthday. He was so impressed with the arrangement and told me it lasted for a long time giving him delight! Their arrangements are just elegantly breathtaking!
