My boyfriend ordered me Valentine's day flowers via their online website and they were never delivered. We called them the Tuesday after Valentine's day because Monday was a holiday. They said they never received an order from us even though we had a confirmation email and $80 deducted out of his account. They said we can deliver them...too late now Valentine's day is over with. The whole point was for me to get flowers since he was working all day.

I recently received a bouquet of roses from Flowerama for my anniversary and the flowers were pretty much dead on the 4th day (with the proper care). When I called Flowerama, I was told that their policy is that roses should last three days. If I had gone into the shop, I would have known that. They were unwillinging to do anything to accommodated me and basically said, "at least they lasted three days." I will not use Flowerama again and will not refer them. (The flowers were ordered via 1-800-Flowers)

I had less than a week left until my wedding, and my fiancé and I came across this small flower shop. Despite the limited amount of time to order my flowers, the lady at the store was very helpful and said our flowers would arrive on time. Two days before my wedding, I arrived to pick up my flowers. I accidentally dropped my wallet as I was leaving the shop, and the employee called me an hour after I left, telling me that a customer had found my wallet and had tried to walk out of the store with it and steal it. The employee saw the customer pick up my wallet from the floor, and stopped the customer from leaving with it. Essentially, I owe the employee everything. My credit cards and ID were in my wallet, and the employee had the integrity to call me and give it back. I will definitely be shopping here again. Oh, and I ordered blue hydrangreas, and they are now my favorite flowers. They turned out beautifully.

Called at 11. Asked if they could have flowers delivered before 2 since wife gets off at that time. NO PROBLEM, they said since it was a mile or 2 up the road. Flowers delivered at 2:15. Wife, gone for the day. So, I called back and asked why not delivered before 2 as requested and promissed. Answer, Traffic! Unacceptable!! No credit or refund offered but she did say; well she will have them for tomorrow, REALLY! Poor Service!!

went in wanting a single rose, the only colors they had out was red. i asked the lady at the desk if they had other colors and was told they may have some in the back, expecting them to check. i waited at the desk and the lady dent do anything and started helping another customer. so i ask another employee beside her and was told "whats out there is out there" what gets me mad is another lady was pulling other colors out the back while i walked out. id advise going anywhere else then here! if this is how there employees work and treat a customer i cant expect the quality of the flowers you get from here!

I've been going to Flowerama in Mundelein for as long as I can remember all of the staff member's here are extremely friendly and extremely extremely helpful from the time you walk into the place they are asking you how you are doing and how they can help you and they know there flowers as they have given me great flowers in the past that my wife really loved.

Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time!! I went in with my mom to look for a large table arrangement for a dinner party and when we walked in, there were three women at the counter facing the entrance. No one spoke to us. My mom said "hi" and one of them gave a slight nod of acknowledgement. We walked over to the case of pre-arranged flowers ( still no one has spoken to us or offered to help). We were not impressed by what we saw so we walked out. Won't be going back there, that's for sure!!

We purchased multiple colors of their plastic flamingos as a fun gift for friends. Fast excellent service. They even offered creative suggestions on stability when not staked in the ground. These little flamingos are on a mission to brighten up the concrete jungle of the Walmart AMP's backlot.

$105.11 for 12 Red Roses and one bloomed Lilly and no plant food. Same as other reviews I was forced to buy red roses and got up charged for the lillies as I wanted a little something to break up all the red. Made my order on Feb. 12 and they could not deliver on Valentine's day but they could deliver Feb. 13 for a fee and if you want to make sure that they arrive before noon there is an extra charge for that as well. So if you want half your order at full price a day before you need it call Flowerama. Guess it's better than the year they called her from the parking lot and had her come outside to pick her flowers up instead of walking them into the receptionist. 5+ year customer 2-3 times a year. I think I'll choose somewhere else next time.

Some of the roses looked almost dead. Employee seemed exasperated when I aksed her to combine 2 dozen roses and wrap them. The ones I chose were beautiful together. And i am glad I asked for them to be combined even if it "put the employee out".

This place has been around since I was a child. The customer service and quality of the bouquets are what sets them apart. I ordered a bouquet for my mothers birthday. Same day delivery and just asked for something bright with some roses. 4 days later I get to see the arrangement and it is gorgeous!! My mom felt so special and the flowers are amazing! We walked in 5 minutes before closing and the girl behind the counter acted like we ruined her night. I apologized for walking on her freshly mopped floors and barely got an acknowledgement back. She turned the lights off on us at 7:28 which was still 2 minutes before closing. If I hadn't been needing the arrangement I would have left.. I will be buying my flowers from elsewhere from now on.

The girls in the shop are always very kind and helpful! They are always willing to work with me to make the perfect arrangement. I’ve been using this shop for a few years now, and the only reason I didn’t give them a five star review was because there is no variety. As I said, I’ve been using them for a few years and they have beautiful arrangements, but no variety to their them, they always seem to have the same ten arrangements in their cooler whenever I go in.

I was really put off by Flowerama at first, their name seemed hokey and their advertisement of inexpensive flowers threw me. However, my fiance sent lilies from Proflowers and gave me roses from Flowerama on Valentine's Day. My lilies never opened and died (so disappointed and will never use Proflowers again!) However, my roses, a week and four days old, still look beautiful and smell amazing and I am pleasantly surprised! Thank you!

Giving 2 stars because their bouquets are fine. My negative review is due to their wedding planning or lack there of. I have been using Flowerama since we moved to Mundelein 2 years ago, purchased over a dozen bouquets from them. When it came time to pick a florist for our wedding, Flowerama was our 1st choice. Go there in March to ask. Girl working says "you have to talk to Elaine, she is not here." Then tells me to come back in May as our wedding is in September. Okay no problem, on the backburner this goes. Fast forward to beginning of May. Walk in again and ask while I'm there to set up a meeting with Elaine. Get told "we're too busy with mothers day, and she's not taking appointments. Call back after mothers day." Little taken back at this point. Why can't we just schedule an appointment for after mothers day? Didn't say anything, agreed, waited until after mothers day as requested. Couple days after mothers day, I call for Elaine. She is not in, but girl that answered phone agrees to set up meeting for me with Elaine. This was on a Friday, I set up the appointment for "tomorrow at 11am" (ie Saturday). Meeting scheduled, plan my weekend accordingly. Show up on time, I see Elaine right away and walk up to her and introduce myself and my fiance. What did I get back? "Your appointment is Sunday at 11 not today". Then walked over to check HER calendar and confirms its written down Sunday at 11. All this time neglected to introduce herself to the soon to be bride or give us any indication our business was wanted or welcomed. Followed by an awkward silence and stare down I asked if she had time to do this today anyways since it's our 3rd attempt. She reluctantly says yes and points at a table across the shop to have a seat at. We didn't even sit down, felt so uncomfortable and awkward that we just told her we'd come back a different time and went about our weekend. Out of all this, I type this 3 weeks later and Ive received zero phone calls. No call to apologize for the mix up or anything. This is truly what prompted me to write this novel of a review. We shouldnt have to beg to spend thousands of dollars for flowers, nor should we have to try 3 separate times to accomodate YOUR schedule. The lack of effort after this mix up shows us that you truly do not value our business, nor care if we return. I support local business, and truly hope this review reaches Elaine and management so the process can be reviewed and changed so this doesn't happen to someone else. We ended up booking our wedding with Donnas Flowers in Mundelein. I wish Flowerama all the best and hope this gets addressed, however I have no intention of returning at this point. PS, we like fresh flowers in the kitchen, we used to buy a bouquet from you every month.

Anyway I don't live in Arkansas no more, but I sent a girl that means a lot to me flowers from this place. And damn. She loved it all. Great job, probably the best 100 I've ever spent. I have been a loyal customer here for years. Every time I needed flowers, they have been my go to, for either delivery or just to run in and grab a bouquet. I will admit they became that way because I adore rainbow roses and they are the only local place I know of to get them. I wanted to have some rainbow roses delivered for Valentine's Day. Being the ONLY local place that sells these, you would think they would make them available, but no, red roses only. I was told on the 13th and 14th, my options were red roses only. I understand it's a busy day for florists, but when did it become ok to decide the whole world only wants red roses. I don't want red roses. Ever. Not on any day of the year. But fine, take away choices so that it becomes a thoughtless day and everyone's arrangements look exactly the same from you...just a matter of how many roses in that arrangement. I won't be buying from here again; I'll order rainbow roses online to be shipped to me before that happens.

My 30th Anniversary! And they didn't have the decency to knock on the door or ring the door bell to deliver the flowers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband calls waiting to hear me say, 'Oh honey, they're beautiful' (and they were not!) and he finally says 'didn't you get your delivery?' NO...I open up the front door and they are sitting on the dirty concrete ....unbelievable! After an unpleasant experience with another vendor, I wasn't convinced I wanted to bother getting a bouquet for my (tiny) wedding. Calling Flowerama was a Hail Mary; they were close to my parents' hotel and got good reviews, so whatever, I'd give them a shot. I called them the day before the ceremony, said I wanted a small handheld bouquet (after my experience with the last vendor, I didn't say "bridal" until after I had a price), and described roughly the colors I wanted. They charged me $32 and gave me a pick up time, and that was that. I had pretty low expectations. To my very pleasant surprise, my parents arrived to my ceremony with a tasteful, beautiful bouquet. Despite placing such a small order, Flowerama had even sent them with a container to borrow that would keep the flowers in water so they wouldn't dry out before the ceremony -- a simple kindness they didn't have to do but did anyway. I find myself rating my wedding vendors 1) on the quality of their work, and 2) on whether they added to or subtracted from the stress of planning a wedding. Flowerama excelled on both points. I happily, heartily recommend.

We have always had outstanding experiences over the phone with Flowerama; it is the only florist in Jacksonville we will use. Every time I tell them my mom likes arrangements that are different, not standard, and what Flowerama delivers every time is stunning. Also, always at a reasonable price.

Ordered flowers online at 9am and heard nothing. Called at 5pm to make sure they got the order and the reply was "Well, they aren't here so they must be out for delivery." The staff really need some customer service skills. First, they can't answer the phone Flowerama. It's a place of business, "Hello" is not how you greet a calling customer. I had to ask to make sure I reached the correct place, and got a "Yeah." They were finally delivered (1 mile away from the location) around 6:30pm. It wasn't Valentine's Day yet, no reason for that 9 hour delay. If I wanted them delivered after work, I could have saved the $10.99 and done it myself! They used to be so compassionate and friendly, and now they are so rude and uncaring. I worked at a nursing home and sent many, many customers to them over the years. After 25 years of loyalty to this business, my business will go elsewhere. My family and friends had similar experiences lately, they were nasty and gave my father a difficult time because he asked for another piece of baby's breath in a very expensive rose arrangement. He said he was completely taken aback as he was so used to the wonderful experiences he's had over the years. It seems they are losing some customers, and rightly so. At least be NICE to your customers. I see below that there are other similar reviews about the constant rudeness. Someone needs to properly train their staff.

We've been regulars since you 1st opened, buying all kinds of different flowers for all kinds of occasions & we've NEVER been disappointed w/the flowers or customer service, until this past week. A week in a 1/2 before Valentine's Day my husband went into the store to order a dozen yellow roses. Since you only do certain arrangements during Valentines that you allow for pickup, not only did he have to pay extra for these yellow roses in the 1st place but he also had to choose your $12 delivery since you also don't allow pickup of special orders during Valentine's week. After only 2 days a couple of the roses were bent over & 1 had crumbled apart so he called in & spoke w/a very sweet young lady who was very apologetic & advised him to bring them in & they'd fix it. The next morning we brought them in & immediately were brushed off by the owner saying, "these flowers were actually just fine & that every color is different." Instead of just replacing the bad roses you replaced the entire dozen, some looking worse then the ones we brought in. When asked about reimbursing that $12 delivery fee the owner said no because "he didn't feel comfortable reimbursing for a service they actually completed" (even tho 1-it wasn't even Flowerama themselves that made the delivery & 2- we had to bring them in for replacement). For over 13yrs my husband has bought all kinds of roses, specifically yellow, from several different florist in the area (including here) & we've never had any that just literally fell apart w/in 5 days like these. To spend $80+ & only have 4 maybe 5 roses left after only 5 days is pathetic in itself but then to add insult to injury by brushing off your customers on top of it, that has cost you a once very loyal customer.

Flowerama did an absolutely wonderful Urn flower arrangement display for a Memorial service for a dear family member at Oaklawn Cemetery for us. The quality of the flowers was very fresh as they have kept for days afterwards and the colors and types were beautiful. The quantity of the flowers was ideal. They were not overwhelming and the selction was just absolutely perfectly sized with height, depth, and fullness. They delivered just as they said they would and to top it all off - they were very competitively priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a flower arrangement for a loved one’s funeral.

The worst flower shop. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. my husband paid 100 for a flower arrangement and the wrong one was delivered to my work. It was ALL foilage and 5 roses and 2 lillies. That's it. POOR QUALITY AND POOR SERVICE THEY WILL NOT ANSWER PHONES WILL BE REPORTING TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IF ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED

Called Flowerama to see if they had teal flowers. Instead of a polite Yes or No. the owner told us there are no teal flowers and they have to paint them. At this time he handed the phone to a female florist who was very nice and informative. She assisted us and answered our questions. They did not have the flowers we needed, but she was willing to paint flowers that we purchaed else where for a small fee. We agreed to that and brought the flowers to Flowerama. When we arrived, the owner RUDELY told us "we don't paint other flowers"; after his florist whom he handed the phone over to conduct business said she would for a small fee. When we told him she said she would, he said "I am the owner and I say NO". This was a horrible experience of being told one thing on the phone and another when arriving at the store. Does not take care of customers and insults them. We will not recommend this business to anyone.

I called all the way from Texas. On a Sunday. At 4pm...they close at 5pm. Unsure of what exactly I wanted for my Gran. Yeah, I'm THAT girl !! The lady I spoke with, Sabrina, went ABOVE & BEYOND to help me out (at the 11th hour) !!! She sent me photos of what they had on hand, was extremely patient and I couldnt be more grateful !! Was looking for a flower arrangement for my wife on mother's day. Most arrangement were not so hot. So I took 2 dozen roses and a vase. Well as it turns out the manager didn't want to put them as arrangement without paying additional $70 dollars. I wasn't asking to arrange for free but $70 dollars is absurd. If they had some good arrangement wouldn't had asked to do one. I took 2 dozen roses for $43 dollars. I support local shops but now will go somewhere else.

They gave me one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a “professional” store. They have no record of our order despite being told who we spoke to and when we ordered. I even called the day before to double check I would be able to pick it up in the morning. The woman I spoke to assured me I was able to come in for it. It wasn’t until I arrived that they told me they didn’t have it. The woman in the store took my information, promised this would be her top priority as we ordered a grave blanket. Several hours went by and no phone calls. I was placed on hold when I called back, promised again that I would receive a call back within five minutes. I called again after another thirty minutes asking to speak to the store manager. Supposedly there is no manager and the owner is out of town until next week and won’t hear back for a while. I was told they would order me another one (for full price) but that it wouldn’t be done until next week or later. This all easily could have been resolved if even one of the employees knew how to deliver an ounce of proper customer service.

I purchased two floral wreaths for my son's funeral and I was so embarrassed. The arrangements were so poorly done and at $200. 00 each I expected so much more. So please go to a different floral shop if you want your arrangements to look more professional. I would not recommend this floral shop!!

Edit: The owner reached out to me personally while on vacation apologizing for his employees actions. I understand it was out of his control and hope the actions are not a representation of the business as a whole. I've adjusted the rating from 1 star to 3 stars due to the response and promise to full refund. He also had a very nice/higher grade arrangement sent the following day from our correspondence. Sharon personally yelled at me and hung up on me, saying I can tell her boss and she doesn't care. At 5:00pm on the day of my scheduled delivery, I contacted Flowerama because the order intended to be a surprise had not been delivered. I was told they had no way to check if it had because the order slips were in the delivery van. Sharon asked if I could call the person and ask if they received their surprise gift to which I responded with "No I would prefer to know from the businesses end if it was delivered". Disgruntled she said "I guess I can go out back and check the van" Well after checking the van then her system, it was confirmed that they received my order but never printed it, nor prepared it for delivery. I immediately asked for a refund. This is when I was told that the owner is Aruba and the office manager had already left. I was told it would be Wednesday before I could be refunded for something they never sent, ruining a birthday surprise. I asked Sharon to please call office manager to speak with me in which she responded "the office manager has worked enough this week so I'm not going to bother her". As soon as I said that was unacceptable, Sharon HUNG UP on me! I called back, once again being told by Sharon that "she would not bother any of the staff to speak with me" and that I can tell them that she treated me in the way she did, and that she doesn't care. This was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. I have never treated in a way that I was with this company.

I have bought So. Many. Flowers here over the years. I completely love their rainbow roses. I buy them for every occasion. Literally every occasion. I buy them for my sister's grave. And I buy them for myself all the time because they make me happy. But today when I wanted to order flowers for Valentine's day I was told I could order red roses or red roses, which did I want? The red? Nah. I don't want red roses and I don't want to be told I have no choice in what to order for Valentine's day. Utterly ridiculous. I will do my best to find a new supplier of rainbow roses so I never have to come back to a place that feels like they can control my purchasing because it makes a busy day thoughtless for them.

If you are looking to send a flower arrangement to a random person then this is the place for you! If that's not what you are looking for, then maybe choose a different flower shop because that's not what they do here. I ordered a plant for my wife to be delivered at her work and instead of delivering what I ordered, they delivered a bouquet of flowers from someone named "Matt". At this point, I can understand that mistakes get made and it was really about what they were going to do to compensate for their mistake so I called them. The woman on the phone took my number and said she would call the delivery driver. She calls back and said the delivery driver apologized and then she apologized and that was it. At the very least, they should have refunded my money or given me some type of credit but she didn't offer that. I personally think that you learn the most about a business and how they value customer service in these situations where things don't go as planned. If the business goes out of their way, then they earn the respect of the customer and that customer usually comes back. If they do the bare minimum, then that business really doesn't care about customers and will have a hard time retaining them. I will not be ordering from Flowerama again.

I live in North Carolina and found Flowerama because it was close to my sister's location in Jacksonville Florida. I have been ordering for my sister now for about 4-5 years from this business and they have NEVER disappointed me. Delivery has always been made timely and done when sister was at home to receive the delivery. Flowers have always been beautiful and fresh. The employees are very nice and accommodating to me. I appreciate having a wonderful florist that I can call for special occasions for my out-of-state sister !
