I got married in July, and Bagoy's made my bridal bouquet, the mothers' corsages, and the men's boutonnieres. Jodi was my consultant, and I could not be happier with the work she did. She was so personable and friendly, and she understood exactly what I wanted when we sat down for our consult. She created a gorgeous Alaskan flower bouquet for me, and she helped me stick to a tight budget. One of my favorite parts of wedding planning was spending time with Jodi in Bagoy's- it was such a dreamy, welcoming, friendly atmosphere, and everyone there treated me so well. I have gotten so many compliments about my bouquet; I just absolutely adored it. Two thumbs up!

The only reason for not getting 5 stars is because they forgot to add a plush bear to the flower arrangement that I ordered. However, they were quick to admit the mistake when I came in the next day. They were kind enough to offer a bigger bear than original one. So in the end they stood up to their reputation, which is very nice.

Well organized and handled mothers day great. They did have an issue with the door opening due to wind that led to an awkward entry that might keep you outdoors for longer then needed.

Their delivery guy is a jerk.I've seen him a few times at different contracts that I work, so I know he's not just having a bad day. He disrespects the property access rules and when you stop him, he's disrespectful.

I have used Bagoy's myself for deliveries and also received flowers from them. The flowers I received were beautiful and lasted for weeks. I received the flowers because of a loss and a worker at Bagoy's delivered them after hours as they drove home. When I use the online ordering in the morning I know that the flowers will be gorgeous and will be delivered that same day. Bagoy's offers a wonderful service.

This is a revision on my first rating. The owner contacted me and was very understanding. She apologized for the miscommunication. I am pleased it was as quick and polite as it was. Thank you for taking the time to correct this. Originally posted on January 27th, 2018- "It was our 5th year anniversary and I am out of town. I call to order flowers and have them delivered to her workplace. Due to some kind of miscommunication with the delivery driver and the receptionist the flowers did not get delivered. I received no phone call letting me know, nor did my partner whose number I did supply get a phone call. Basically I paid for flowers and delivery on our anniversary that never happened. This has been the most disappointing day."

The Alaska Botanical Garden loves Bagoy's! What a great asset to our community. Last year they donated over 600 flowers so that students in the Anchorage School District could dissect and learn about flower parts and their functions in a hands-on and interactive way. In 2016 they donated several types of flowers to be used in a local wildflower identification class designed for adults wanting to learn more about flowers! They are wonderful and our programming wouldn't be the same without their generosity!

Just called to order a planter for a client and they refused the order due to high volume orders. They said my client could call and they would do it but they wouldn't take it from me. They were rude and dismissive. I am sure that they don't care but this client calls orders very big arrangements for delivery there every month. They said that there are other florists that would be happy to take my order, and that is was their policy not to take out of state orders. Wow!!! If I could give them no stars I surely would. I could see it if I was using a wire service or expected them to give me a discount but it was a 100% order with a credit card. They just said goodbye to $200.00, as well as the $200.00 per month that another florist will get.

I called Bagoy's Florist and ordered a beautiful bouquet for someone who was recuperating at the ANMC's Patient's Housing Unit, just to cheer her up. I cannot emphasize how disappointed I was when I learned that she did not receive the bouquet. However, Bagoy's refunded me my money reached out to me in a positive way with an apology. If you're looking for beautiful flowers that last up to 2 weeks then you need to order from Bagoy's Florist & Home. I often purchase pre-made flower arrangements from their cooler, but when I order flowers I have them delivered to my wife's office. Morning deliveries to Downtown Anchorage generally arrive between 10AM-11:30AM. If you're going to pickup the flowers make sure your vehicle is cold inside because the flowers will open very quickly in the heat.

Take a look at the pictures! Such a beautiful shop with so many great gifts for any price range. Figurines starting at $2.95 and great succulents/air plants starting at $6.95. They also have fragrant soaps and lotions. For the big spenders there are magnificent bouquets, potted plants, lamps and much more unimaginably beautiful gifts.
