First my order was for my parents anniversary...it was not delivered until after they were contacted...the next day. The order was placed 5 days earlier? In an effort to make it better they said they would do an upgrade on an already medium sized order...I could have gone to Walmart and got flowers that were equal to what they delivered...with a card thanking them for a golf cart...yep...not Happy Anniversary - but thank you for a golf cart. My mom had to run out to the car with the card to see what was going on. I am not sure what is going on there but I gave them a chance to make it right...and they failed big time. I will not be back.

Room L5 of Order of Polka Dots cannot say enough great things about Southern Veranda! We have been using them for the past few years for our florals for the ball and other events and they always go above and beyond! Their work is always gorgeous!

I am almost 5 years late on my review. Carl & his crew did my wedding almost 5 years ago & it was amazing. The day we met with him, he knew my vision without me providing many details. The day of my wedding, everything was amazing & beautiful! I have called them twice since to get flowers for my grandmothers birthday & she has called me in tears at how beautiful the arrangements are. Carl knows flowers & will give you nothing short of the best! Thank you for always providing exceptional & amazing quality work!!

Ordered the deluxe Telefora Possibly Pink flower arrangement for my daughter which were delivered as requested and she immediately sent me a picture of them as as a thank you. I understand the florist can make slight alterations in the arrangement but what was delivered was not even close to what I ordered. Very disappointed. Will not order from this florist again. WisIh I could post side by side comparison pictures for all to see.. Would be happy to email them to the manager of this shop to help others in the future .

Truly amazing florist! The Phi Mu Alumnae Group of Mobile and Baldwin County has used Southern Veranda for several functions and is always amazed at how beautiful their work is! Not only is the work amazing but Carl and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and so so courteous and kind! We will continue to use Southern Veranda for all our floral needs.

Requested a delivery for a specific time well in advance. Received two calls on delivery date. Second call I received was an hour after the requested delivery time. I usually don't complain about service because you don't always know what's going on behind the scenes. I paid for a service and it was unsatisfactory. I won't say that I won't go to them again but I will try a different service next time.

First of all I called Friday morning to send a friend some flowers for 1st thing Saturday morning, the lady I spoke to said it would be first, I ignored the fact that she was rude because the shop had 4 stars on Google, well That was false, I called the shop around 1:30pm to ask why the flowers haven't been delivered the same rude lady answered and said well we had other orders come in.. so I'm guessing mine was put on the back burner... now when my friend finally got the flowers and she sent me a picture of the flowers and said thanks.. And that's what hurt the most o told the rude lady that took my order I wanted a huge pretty bouquet I spent $120 to ensure it. This looks like a $29 bouquet that you get out of Winn-Dixie...this place will not get my business again

Each year I send my best friend white Roses on her Birthday. I'm out of state and called many florist. Liz answered my prayers. The other florist I reached out to did not have white Roses. They went above and beyond to find these and make my friends day extra special with a next day delivery before noon. The Roses are beautiful and the service is excellent. Thank you Liz

I ordered 1/2 dozen light pink roses and a stuffed bear for my girl, this is what she received. I am quite agrivated and embarrassed about this shotty display of 2 roses that are the wrong color and what I can only describe as weeds. This is our first Valentine's together and my attempt to suprise her is utterly ruined.

Awful florist. My husband bought me a premium arrangement ($80) and paid extra for it to be delivered to me by 9:30 am. At 12:30 the flowers finally arrived and they looked nothing like the arrangement he ordered. I was supposed to get a beautiful bouquet of full bloom large red roses and pink and red carnations in a red vase with a pink ribbon. Instead I got 3 small roses, 3 pink carnations, 3 purple filler flowers in a clear vase with no ribbon at all. Not worth the money. Use another florist.

I use Southern Veranda for all my floral needs! All of the designers are extremely creative and talented! Carl, the owner, is a member of The American Institute of Floral Design and has owned the shop for 24 years! Their experience truly shines through their work!

VERY PLEASED...I placed an order from out of state for my daughter in Fairhope. I requested that she be called ahead of delivery. My daughter was notified ahead and the flowers she received were fresh and beautiful! The vase did have a satin bow tied around it and an adorable stuffed animal accompanied the arrangement as ordered. My daughter immediately sent me photo of her flowers. She loves her flowers!
