Went TWICE during my trip in the area for a wedding. Decor is intense and entertaining. Food is delicious. Had the corn beef hash, country potatoes, and a pancake on day 1 and doodle's revenge (the open face burrito with the green sauce) on day 2 with no complaints. Bought a mug to honor the memorable experience.

Wonderful breakfast and lunch roadside stop. Plenty of parking. Usual selection of eggs, omlets waffle and pancakes. Really good sausage patties. Good service, prices typical for the area. Decor is Americana. Worth the stop. I have only had breakfast, lunch of sandwiches, burgers and salads is also available.

Good breakfast food, decent price for a small town. Nothing spectacular, but I've never left hungry. Interior decor is all-American, red-white-and-blue everything. One of the only places that serves breakfast in town, so can get quite packed during peak breakfast hours, but I've never really had to wait for a seat, and the most I have seen others wait is maybe 15 minutes. Of course, my experience was but a small slice of the entire pie that is Yankee Doodle, since I've been there 3 or 4 times and only for breakfast.

FIRST OFF IF I COULD GIVE A 10 STAR I WOULD!!!! We stopped in this past week for lunch. The food was very good and serving size was so big way more than i should have ate. The staff was super friendly. I wouldn't expect anything less with a place that love it's country as much as this place does!!! This place is covered with USA flags, signs, trinkets, picture's and even the sugar is RED WHITE AND BLUE VERY NICE!!! It's nice to see some people still love and believe in the USA AND ITS FLAG AND WILLING TO STAND UP FOR IT!!! We will stop in here every time we are in Alpine, WY and sense we are looking to move there looks like we just found our new favorite place to eat!!!!! Funny a large part of the bad review about this place is over the right as business owners to run there business the way they want to and decorate it with USA FLAG. There 's nothing racist or hate related in the building AT ALL! JUST PROUD AMERICANS NOT SCARED TO SHOW IT!!!!! Pretty simple it the people that don't like the USA and want to change it that don't like this place are have a problem with it!!! AS FOR AS WHAT WOULD A BLACK FAMILY THINK IF THEY WALKED IN I'M SURE IF THEY LOVED THE USA THEY WOULD LOVE THIS PLACE AS WELL FUNNY HOW RACE IS ALWAY PULLED IN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have black friends and they would love it!!! WAY TO GO OWNER AND STAFF FOR SICKING UP FOR THE GOOD OLD USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best country place to eat, especially if you value your 2nd amendment rights. It's a very good place to get a burger. If you're there after 5:00 PM on a weekend, ask for the Prime Rib Dinner. It's to die for. We'll be back soon.

Great food, very healthy portions! The chili was amazing. The decor was patriotic and entertaining. As to those who say they would be uncomfortable in the restaurant, there was a black family eating at the table right next to mine and they enjoyed the same fast service, open conversation, and great food as everyone else. Good hot pastrami sandwich. Many choices of sides. I had potato salad which had good flavor. Hubby had bowl of chicken enchilada soup, which he said was good. Service was efficient and food arrived quickly. Good stop if you're passing through the area.

You better like Fox News, love guns and subscribe to utterly blind patriotism. The owners appear to be of the shallow, user-friendly variety who see a threat to the Second Amendment behind every door. Weird.

By far one of the best all American western states cafes we’ve ate at. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner we have not been disappointed when passing through when going to Jackson Hole. Located in Alpine, WY and just a short drive over the Snake River bridge you don’t want to miss this home-cooking cafe. One of our breakfast favorites is the country biscuits and gravy served with hash browns. Serving is large so we ask for half and the taste is phenomenal! You’ll never leave hungry. Best of all they provide you with a customer punch card for each visit earning a FREE meal after 10 meal purchases. There are lots of locals wearing cowboy attire and just an all around great experience for us. In addition to the tasty meals, hospitality is wonderful! With an flare of America’s red, white and blue, there’s plenty to look at as the entire cafe is patriotic and fun to see. We heard their Prime rib dinner is fabulous!

Last time I was in there especially, they were in a rush, which I get but they were rude on the phone and short when I arrived to pick up my order. If they have rushes like that they need to hire more people for it to run smoothly and not stress employees

Wow! It may look like a hyper-patriotic diner but it is actually a hyper-patriotic diner with absolutely incredible food. It sounds like hyperbole but believe me there is some masterful hands at work in the kitchen. We had the Liberty Burger, Rueben with Sweet Potato Fries, Chicken Caesar and the Fried Zucchini. We are mega fans! Give this place a try.

If you are not patriotic, this probably is not the place for you.
