REVIEWS OF Harbor Fish Market & Grille IN Wisconsin

Fred Young

What a great experience. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. From Karen offering to ship something we left behind (all the way to Sturgeon Bay), that Lauren secured for us, to being dog friendly, to the view. We will be back and refer people to check it out! Thank you. Fred & Shawna Young

Kerry Johnson

Excellent food and view. Very nice restaurant and great service.

Chris Ludwig

Harbor Fish Market & Grille sounds like a wonderful place for a seafood dinner, but for breakfast I was a bit skeptical. We gave it a try because it was within walking distance from our room and had outdoor, dog friendly seating. We were not disappointed! Excellent breakfast of eggs and bacon and sausage, toast and jam, hash browns cooked from scratch. Very good food, perfect way to start the day. Great service and atmosphere as well. We'll certainly be back.

Cathy logan weber

I love the food here and the owner who is on site working and mingling with guests.

Rochelle Duciaume

Great service

Martha Fuerste

We have enjoyed this place in the past but this time the food was just okay and the prices were way up.

Penny Antell

Food was excellent. Waitress not so friendly. Hostess fantastic. Great view of the water. Fun fish tank.

Julie Attoe

Disappointed in the quality for the cost. Pesty flies were menacing. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Staff was somewhat helpful. Not a good experience.

Alicia Huseth

Lobster bisque was delicious!! My dining companions really liked the oysters and the lobster rolls.

Alan C

We chose this place for our first night's dinner in Door County and it was the right choice. We both had the blackened whitefish and enjoyed them very much. I also had a cup of their whitefish chowder, sharing of course. It was wonderful. So 5 stars for them and a return visit when back in the area.

Joan Roush

We had breakfast here on Sunday October 15. It has been part of our yearly trip for three years now. I had the cherry pancakes this time and have had eggs in the past. Never disappointed in the food! My husband had eggs and thought that they were amazing! The coffee is some of the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was excellent and I love the view, I wish I had that view everyday! We will be back next year!

Jodi Whit

Excellent food and service! The halibut cheeks were delicious. You can enjoy after dinner cocktails while overlooking Bailey Harbor.

I really hate to leave bad reviews but my experience last week demanded it. I arrived at the restaurant about 10:30am on Friday. Only 6 tables were occupied so service shouldn't be an issue, right? Wrong! My order was taken quickly but then things slowed down. My soda took 10 minutes to arrive (it came with the excuse that "I forgot"). As I'm sitting waiting, a neighboring table began to complain that 2 members of their party still hadn't received their food even though the other 3 members had already finished eating. The excuse for that delay: the chef didn't see the order. Then another table with 2 had an issue: the waiter brought out her order but told the gentleman that his order was missing / lost. Seriously? When my order finally showed, my 2 poached eggs were really 1 egg and 1 egg white. They did bring me another egg but obviously I had to wait. I really try to give my business to places that are open year round. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Al Johnson's, White Gull Inn and Thyme Restaurant are reliable breakfast places that are always good.

Michael Rood

Pam our server was well informed, courteous and fun. The food was outstanding, our puppy had a great meal and we all left happy and satisfied! 5 stars indeed!

Wendy

Last night my husband and I had the best experience dining out. Michelle our server was top notch and we really enjoyed her friendly service. We both ordered the Lobster Tails and they were done to perfection. We will be back the next time we visit Door County. I recommend this place if you are searching for great food in Door County

Ed Becerra

My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. This place does not disappoint! The good was absolutely amazing. I had the scallops which were cooked beautifully. My girlfriend had the Chilean Seabass which was to die for. We had the Door County cherry bread pudding for dessert, which was the only disappointment as the cherry to bread pudding ratio was a bit low. But everything else was amazing. Not to mention sitting at tables that overlook Lake Michigan is super nice!

Juliana Knopp

We got dirty looks the whole time. For a "dog friendly" place, they were quite rude. A few other guests, didn't want to sit anywhere next to us although Titan laid in the grass and minded his own. Our server also gave attitude when he stood up behind her. The food is overpriced (fish and chips were $25) and the staff is rude. Although the patio is beautiful, Im not a huge fan.

Mary Deckert

Best seafood ever, spectacular staff. Will become a must stop every time we're back in Door County

Karen Jackson

Food was very good. Beautiful view of the water.

Marci Peterson

The fish chowder is very good!

Matthew Castillo

Went here with my wife, one year old son, and dog. The food was fast and the service was great. The best part was that they have a dog menu. Seriously amazing! We ate outside and enjoyed the day. My dog had a great time.

Darren Meyers

Best breakfast in Bailey's Harbor. Dog and Family friendly. Love this place.

Sandra Hughes

Wonderful food! Watching the fish boil was a highlight.

Sara VonDerHeide

Lovely setting. Decent food. Their perch is large in size and the tartar sauce is too sweet. Not like Sister Bay Bowl.

Keith Wolf

Everything was exactly what we hoped it to be. Staff was wonderful and food was fantastic

Lois Hultgren

Fish tacos just ok, but cherry pie was excellent.

Ryan Clark

Nice place with a nice view, service was good. Prices were a bit high for the food quality. Fish was good, baked potato was just okay.

Joseph Burress

Best prime rib we've had in a long time. Friends had salmon, also very good.

Gracie b

Lovely and elegant restaurant. Would definitely love to come back here again when in the area for a special meal.

Cindy Weyenberg

Food was wonderful service was great. Child's portion of fried shrimp was asked to be with no breading and was accommodated!!

Drea E

Great food and service! We came here for lunch, it was great! The chef actually waited on us, and cooked our food. He was so personable and funny. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Katie Weiss

Had lunch here on Sunday, the food was great, service staff helpful and friendly, and the view is awesome. What a great patio!! Dog friendly too!

Bill Seaver

Excellent place to eat! The service was AWSOME as well as the atmosphere!

Alma Weborg

It was amazing. Everything you could want and the service to go with the excellent food.

Michael Morrison

Best brunches in Door County!!!

James Huycke

Very old building right on the water. Gorgeous old natural wood bar & bar back. Cute fish tank inside an old TV. Food from scratch, very personable staff, dog friendly. Thanksgiving buffet was HUGE and the place was packed to the gills. These people clearly care about quality food and quality service.

Carolyne Myers

Stopped here on our way to Sister Bay. Was seated and then waited 20 minutes before finally getting up and walking out. Empty tables throughout and at least 2-3 waitresses passed us by more than once and never said one word to us. Not worth the trouble.

Terri Belz

We returned to Door County after a number of years for a quick overnight and chose to stay at the Beachfront Inn down the road from the Harbor Fish Market & Grille. When I asked the staff at the Inn if they would recommend the Harbor Fish Market for the Lobster Boil. They were enthusiastic in their positive recommendation and we weren't disappointed. From our first drink in the bar from the helpful and friendly bartender to being seated on time and service at our table we were taken care of. We devoured the first course of Lobster Bisque enjoying it to the last drop. The Lobster was just as rewarding. Corn on the cob in November just isn't as good as summer time but the cherry bread pudding didn't disappoint.

Joseph Bartkiewicz

Excellent seafood!

Rob Traczyk

We went for breakfast. Prices were decent. The food was really good. Large portions. The wait staff were very pleasant & attentive. Definitely recommend!

Jim Wishau

Always good food and service. We have been going there for years. Consistently great oysters and Seafood.

Jillian Downing

This is a cute restaurant with an amazing patio that has views over the harbor. My husband and I came here on July 3 for brunch and ordered a cherry mimosa, bloody mary, pancakes and the stuffed french toast. The mimosa was delicious - you can tell is has real cherry juice. My husband enjoyed the bloody mary - it wasn't spicy. The pancakes were HUGE. If you're not starving, I'd recommend getting the short stack. The stuffed french toast was great - the filling was a bit tart and not overly sweet, which we preferred. If you're looking for something super sweet, you might not love the french toast. The service here was also excellent. They do allow dogs outside and provide a cute little water bowl for your pet, and, if interested, they have a pet menu!

Julie Stodolka

The best king crab my husband ever had. Wonderful service. Going back tonight for the lobster boil. And yes the house wines were excellent.

Greg Bublitz

Came here for our anniversary. Ordered flowers for the table. They put us in a alcove overlooking the lake. Absolutely great view. Our server, Michelle, was wonderful - just the right amount of attentiveness. Now for the food. My wife had the chilean sea bass. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I had the scallops. Again, cooked to perfection. It included a savory risotto cake that was delicious. Crispy outside, creamy risotto inside. This couldn't have been a better evening for us. The owner, Carl, started us of with his Cherry Bomb and great conversation. We finished with Michelle taking our picture with the lake in the background. Thank you for a memorable evening. We will be back.

Frank Weber

Awesome staff and food, calamari was the best I've ever had. Entrie was the Kobe ribeye cooked to perfection. Will be going back on my next visit.

Julie Baeten

The chilean sea bass I had for dinner was excellent. Hubby ordered the elk steak special which was delicious. Pricey but great for a special night out.

Laura Baier

What a great find. We tried for breakfast on 7/26 because we were staying within walking distance. Staff was friendly and attentive. Stuffed French toast was fantastic. We asked to look at a dinner menu and made dinner reservations for 7/27. Again, exceptional staff(Natalie) and the prime rib and lobster tail was cooked perfectly. The cheesecake was the end to a perfect evening. Went back 7/28 for the stuffed French toast!! Great job!

Philip Boivin

Food was good but prices were very high.

Tim Lauridsen

My experience having gone to the restaurant for breakfast is very different from the last reviewer's opinion. Myself and two others were in BH on a fishing excursion and went to the Fish Market for breakfast for the simple fact that nothing else was open. We were the only people in the restaurant at 8 am, yet once we ordered our food it took 30 minutes to arrive. My corned beef hash and eggs had nothing more than a few flakes of corned beef with some very oily hash browns. My friends vegetable omelet had what amounted to no more than a small floret of broccoli and two slices of mushrooms in it. I was glad he ordered a side order of sausage links because he would've been very hungry otherwise. He did have to pay $4.95, plus tax for the two sausage links though. I would advise anyone going to this restaurant for breakfast to expect minimal food for maximum price and service that is lackluster. Too bad, they could corner the market in BH if they had a decent business model.

Andrea Richter

Incredible food, beautiful atmosphere in a perfect setting, and the service was wonderful.

Travis

My wife, our dog, and I stopped by here on our way to Cana Island. We saw that they had an outdoor patio with a lake view as well as being dog friendly. The outdoor atmosphere was very elegant and our waiter was very professional and attentive. They even have a doggie menu from which we ordered a hamburger patty with kibble (she loved it). I ordered a cheeseburger and chips (the burger was decent but the chips were fantastic). My wife ordered soup and salad, which she really enjoyed. After dinner, we walked by the lake behind the restaurant, which was very pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience with good food and service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Andrew Glaser

Great brunch

Christine Duncan

Wonderful experience. We were originally going to come here for lunch but ended up somewhere else. We then decided we would go to dinner here after looking at the menu and remembering this is where the lobster boil was. My husband really wanted to do that. The waitress (I think her name was Michelle) was very attentive and kind. She explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. The food was phenomenal. The view was spectacular as well. Next time we are up in Door County we will definitely be coming back here.

Jeff Blaser

Group of six and we were all pleased with the fish market. Decor is fitting of their name. White table cloths get you prepared for this classic dinning experience. Menu screams fish market. From lobster boil, to schrimp, Sea Bass and more fish dishes to choose from. I had pan fried walleye. It was a generous serving the fish was outstanding. Roasted carrots topped off the dinner. Nice choice of wine and beer our waitress was professional. A super experience. We will return

David Rhoads

Try to get Olivia if you can; she knew exactly what I wanted even before I could figure it out

Pam Peterson

We had a fantastic meal the other night. The whitefish chowder had a bit too much thyme for my husband but otherwise the food was delicious. Matthew was our server and he was very knowledgeable and professional. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and so the ambience was superb!

Leo MacDonald

Special place for a special meal. Finest restaurant in DC. Great wine list.

Eric Peterson

A wonderful place for lunch. We dined in their garden with a view of the lake. The food was good with generous portions. Lauren gave us excellent service.

Joshua Krzych

As usual excellent service! Decadent lobster eggs benedict.

Denise Frovarp

Great food! Smoke from firepit made outside dining a disappointment.

Susan Nelson

Excellent service and meal. Sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful morning with lake view.

Marc de Kruijf

Outdoor seating and service was very pleasant, but the food was dissatisfying. I had the halibut cheeks "specialty". It wasn't bad but the fish was stringy (not what I remember from the texture of halibut) and did not taste fresh, a few times I bit down on something with a sandy crunch that left a strange feeling in my mouth, and the portion was much much too large it must have been close to 2000 calories. All that and the cost of the dish was quite expensive at almost $40. I had the grilled salmon at Chives the night before for less, and it was absolutely perfectly done. My wife was happier with her dish, the Chilean bass, but was also not particularly impressed. The fish was undercooked, she said. I expect mine was too.

Sara Graap

My parents have a house in Egg Harbor, so we come up as a family every summer. We wanted to try something new for lunch and stopped her. I ordered the lobster bisque and the club sandwich; the bisque was very good. The sandwich however was terrible. The turkey was dark gray with a rubbery outside layer, and when this was brought to the server’s attention she said it’s a different part of the turkey and was supposed to be that way. I tried a bite and it wasn’t good so when the server came back she asked if they could make me a new one with breast meat. I told her I didn’t want another one, but she insisted and brought it back boxed up saying they replaced the meat. I took the box and threw it out as soon as we left and the real kicker is, we still had to pay for the $13 sandwich. There are so many great restaurants up here, I wouldn’t make this a go to stop.

Jenn Binder

Excellent food we had the cheese curds, lobster roll, and whitefish BLT. We will add this to our annual door county must eat at location list! Friendly staff and a great view to top it off.

Grant Reed

We sat outside and were able to let the kids run around out back; there was plenty of room for them to not bother others. There was a lobster boil ongoing but we didn't partake. Great menu and food considering the small town. A gem in my opinion.

Lucy Hershberger

Good breakfast and a beautiful view of the lake.

gwen edel

so so fish lunch.. ?waitress running fingers thru greassy hair served food among the flies.. asked for a swatter... maybe we'll come back and try the fish boil seems like a nice place

John Balza

Good selection of sandwiches for lunch. Prices typical for tourist area. Right on the lakefront with option of eating in or outside.

Cecelia Slezak

Staff was exceptional in their attentiveness. The variety and daily specials were outstanding. We had the lobster, scallops, halibut checks, and lake perch... All were prepared with exceptional detail.

Phylis Spence

We have always have a wonderful dining experience until this year's Mother's day brunch. The lamb was well done, the vegetable strata was over done and the augraten potatoes were also dry. The serving spoon had augraten potatoes stuck to it so that you really couldn't use it to serve yourself. Our waitress was very attentive. We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan on a sunny day. I don't know if we would chance another bunch there. We do like their breakfast.

Steve Gooder

Good food and service.

John Bates

OMG the food is so good and the wait staff is top-notch,prices are excellent go in the summer and make a reservation for the lobster boil you will not be dissatisfied

Jennifer Russell

Awesome perch fish fry! The chowder was delicious! Very friendly and prompt service. Definitely coming here again!

becadcox .

Pricey! Fine foods. Fine wines! Fresh fish. Quality dining. Beautiful presentations. Attentive service.

Mrs. Bowman

Very nice restaurant with a water view and delicious food. My husband and I each had the lobster roll, which was loaded with big chunks of fresh lobster. It was huge, and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It’s our first time in the area, and we’re glad we tried this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Linda Waschow

Loved the lobster boil which also includes a wonderful cherry bread pudding for dessert! Eli was an excellent server. Thank you! Ask about the Cherry smash drink. It is wonderful! Great view, great food! What more could you ask for?

Rebekah Veach

Good food, nice view. Obviously, the fish is the highlight here but my party ordered a bunch of different things and enjoyed them all. The soup is not to be missed!

Keli Rudd

Had lunch. Good decor and charm. A waiter came to the table and filled our glasses with luke warm water out of a green bottle. His apron was really dirty and he was wiping his nose with his other hand while pouring it. Michelle was our server. She brought the food and didn't stop back to check how it was. My husband had already finished his burger at this point. I turned to get her attention and saw her and our hostess (?) talking to a gentleman who walked in. A different server noticed we needed something and took care of us. Our fries were so hard and cold. I'm pretty sure they had been redropped in the fryer. We pinched one and it shattered. The second server got us both new fries and asked if they were better. She saved the meal for us. My BLT wasn't worth $13, but it still tasted good. I also noticed the ceiling fan and acoustic tiles were super dusty. I wouldn't want the dust dropping on my table.

David Hevia

Outdoor Fine Dining. We were headed to eat somewhere else but my wife always likes to eat on the water and preferably, outside. We also like excellent food. As we decided to skip our original destination, we walked over here to check it out. The outside looked great. Once we saw the name, we realized it was a place we had heard as highly rated. The service here is extremely professional, just as fine dining, even though the setting is very casual. The menu is top-notch and refined. We enjoyed the meal, the evening, and the experience. It's a little pricey, so not an every night sort of thing, but if you know and appreciate fine restaurant experience, and don't want to eat indoors, then you will love this.

Mariano Marin-Gomez

Great atmosphere and food! Chilean sea bass was great! Service was excellent!

CJR Grob

Did the lobster boil here, which was great. Friendly staff.

Matthew Fritz

Food was good. Cost was high. I got friday night perch. Got alot of fish

Nathan Ellingson

Fantastic Halibut Cheeks, Porcini Crusted Waygu Ribeye, lobster bisque, and of course some incredible Door County Old Fashioneds

steve miller

Good food,Very expensive for dinner compaired to others in area. Moved to 4 stars the owner is very active in ensuring you are happy with your visit.

Bryan Zeigler

We had a very mixed experience during our dinner on July 5th. The location and ambiance are fantastic. We sat outside and had our dog with us. The issue we had is with the service. Our waiter was either very distracted or overwhelmed. It took 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive and another 5 for bread. Once we ordered we had a very long wait for our meal. Once the food arrived, the burger for our dog didn't come out. I had to ask our waiter three additional times for the dog's meal. He was too busy speaking with other guests on the deck to get the food or to notice our drinks (to include water) were empty for over 5 min. I finally had to interrupt him to get the food and water. Once we were done with the main meal it took forever for the table to be cleared and for my wife's dessert to be brought out (part of the lobster boil, which was overcooked by the way). He never offered us dessert, coffee etc and made it clear he wanted us to leave. The sea bass was very good and the kids liked their meals. Overall, a very disappointing evening.

Kaleb

Not a bad place. Set outside if you can. Very nice view of the lake.

H M Norrell

Fabulous food and superb service. The best fried perch I've had in a long time! Would highly recommend you give them a try!

Sorin Comsulea

We were at this place two times, last Friday and Saturday. The lobster bisque was the best I ever had! I also had the white fish with a spicy Cajun finished, it was perfect. My wife ordered the fillet mignon and it was excellent. Next night I ordered the surf and turf , I got a big lobster tail and one of the best rib eyes in my life. My wife got one more time the fillet, it was awesome. They also have a menu for dogs! and our ridge back got some treats on the house. Super nice service! We will be back!

Sandy Frazier

Excellent food. Fantastic service. Fabulous view of Lake Michigan. Highly recommend the Lobster Boil and the Chilean Sea Bass. The lobster bisque is heavenly. Cherry bread pudding is delicious.

Danelle Hungerford

We went for breakfast and it was delicious! We got the Lobster omelet and lobster eggs Benedict and would highly recommend them. The bloody mary was really good too! Our table had a fabulous view of the lake to top it off. The only downside is the price of the drinks.

Zach Langlois

Fantastic restaurant. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a nice view of lake Michigan to enjoy and the atmosphere was all around pleasant. Will stop again if I'm in the area.

Donald Bush

Good food no doubt. Only drawback was $43 for a simple breakfast for 2.

Johanna Hanssen

Nice place. Service was good. Beer on tap was very limited. Above average pricing. Was disappointed that they had a beautiful deck and day and there was no option to sit outside.

Brian Donovan

Not sure if we came to your restaurant at a off time but we had nobody greet us and had no idea who to speak to get a outside table. We did end up getting a table outside the table and the table mats were dirty our server was not friendly and was very slow. Also was not impressed that the tables were sitting in the grass slash dirt not a patio, and the view was a gravel parking lot and then the lake .Based on your prices we expected a lot more. We had one cocktail each and went and ate somewhere else

Irish mother

Delicious lobster bisque and whitefish chowder. The salmon was fresh and well prepared but the cucumber-dill sauce was watery and way under seasoned. The wild rice served with it clearly seemed to come from a prepackaged mix because the apparent freeze dried celery contained within but the roasted carrots were perfect. Service was excellent. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Rice and sauce kept it from being a 4 star review.

J F

We went for lunch and unfortunately had horrible service. We had to ask multiple times for refills on our drinks. The waitress was not very attentive. It took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. The lunch menu was pricey for sandwiches. I probably won't go back which is unfortunate because they have great views. Also, the patio was swarming with bees and flies

Jennifer Davis

Absolutely lovely experience. The lobster roll was worth the money and generous enough portion to share. Our server was delightful and attentive. And the view was the cherry on top. We wished we had room for dessert. Next time for sure!

Kera Ellingson

Great food! The lobster boil was amazing! Try a cherry bomb shot

Ian Shepherd

Was here for lunch the other day. We came around lunch time and there was a decent crowd, but not over-crowded. We were promptly seated by a member of the wait staff. We chose to eat in their outside patio area. They have an amazing view of the lake! They have a decent selection of wines, beers and mixed drinks. My wife ordered the Door County Sunrise(as pictured) and I had one of their beers on tap. I ordered one of their lunch specials. It was so amazing. The fresh salmon is definitely highly recommend. My wife ordered the tilapia dish. She really enjoyed it, and she’s not one who usually likes seafood. I tasted it. It was a very well balance between the breading, spices and the taste of the tilapia. All in all, this was a great experience and we will be coming here every single time we visit Door County. This restaurant is a Must see in DC! Oh, and I forgot to mention their outside patio is pet friendly!

Amy Fischer

Great service, fresh homemade food and beautiful view of the lake!

Anne Fitzgerald

Breakfast with the view of the lake or dinner with a lot of laughter and friends. You just cannot go wrong here. The service is always top, the food is amazing and you never feel rushed. Feels like vacation should. A must if you are in Door County.

Megan Crucius

Top notch service and food! This place does and amazing job. I highly recommend the lobster boil with the cherry cobbler. The entire staff was wonderful!

Sandy Nelson

Good food, friendly local restaurant.

Ness

Breakfast was awesome. Classy place.

Raymond Sartler

We've been here many times and the food and service have always been fantastic.

Mo Shanley

Always a delightful experience - great food, great atmosphere, and great service (thanks Michelle & Matty!)! Definitely would recommend!!!

William Valevich

Chicago prices for Door County food and service. Stopped by for dinner on a Thursday evening. Wife and I both had whitefish, priced at $29, which was good but nothing exceptional . The a la carte side salad, mixed greens, was also good. Our entrées came with a baked potato, which seemed quite odd. When I asked to substitute rice, the server indicated that there are no substitutions, and that there would be an additional charge. She aquiessed upon my mild protest, which turned out to be my loss. The rice was extremely dry and fairly tasteless. My pint of Spotted Cow was $7 and my wife's CC on the rocks was $12. Overall the meal was quite average and very much over priced. Maybe it was the chef's night off. Will not be back.

Myra Belter

Wonderful place to eat. Good times, good memories and good food. Parking is the only con as it's all street parking.

Debra Heatherwick

Excellent food & service. Reservations suggested. $$$

Lynn R. Peters

Terrific food and nice service!

bridget g

The restaurant is pretty, with lake views. Service was good, not excellent. With only a few tables occupied, a large group was seated right next to our table - so tight that we had to slide our table a foot to one side in order to get out when we were ready to leave. We ordered a fish sandwich and the lake perch for lunch. The piece of fish on the sandwich was much smaller than the bun and the mesclun did not taste fresh so I removed it. The fish & chips were fine, a nice serving of fish with the typical cole slaw and fries. I can't be sure, but the cole slaw tasted a lot like a ready made type - nothing special. I would have hoped for a house made side. I would have to say we felt it was overpriced for the food we received. We would not choose to return.

debbe heiden

Delicious calamari and I used their lemon oil for more deliciousness

Associated Graphics

The location looks great. The outdoors seating is about 50 yards from the shore. They have a "Diner" sign at the front but this is not a Diner. Prices are too high for the food and quality of food. The sea bass was delicious, served with asparagus and sprouts but pricey. The prime rib indeed was a terrible dish. ordered it well done and received it rare. Waiter took it back but it came back medium well. We left and opinion card filled which was given to us. We received a call from the manager but they did not take our comments as important and made to feel that we knew nothing about food. Not a productive conversation if opinions are taken personally. We have taste buds and know how to enjoy a good meal. On a lighter note, waits staff was excellent.

Jeffrey King

Dinner was great! Attentive wait staff.

Kenneth Newton

Awesome lobster rolls!

Dan Reid

Nice! Best THC in town

Joyce Kellow

Great Lunch

Mary Boyle

Upscale, yet still casual, restaurant overlooking Lake Michigan. Dogs are allowed on the patio, and they even have a special menu for them. Reservations for their lobster boil are recommended. I had the lobster roll, and it was delicious! Nice breakfast options and good cold brew coffee.

Richard Ewald

calamari oyster on the half shell scallops and halibut cheeks were outstanding

Jenya

Wonderful food and view! Only problem being the very slow service. We waited for the check longer than it took us to eat... overall enjoyable though!

Nicole Lafever

Over priced and food was not good. $12 bugers: overdone & frozen patty. $19 lobster roll: bland and watery. The $25 fried perch about 2 cm. thick. Service was slow. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Lyle Haerle

Quaint atmosphere, loved the lobster boil.

Angie Kroll

We went for breakfast - our waitress added to the excellent food! She was such a fun, kind hearted waitress to us and everyone around. On the pricier side but the food was worth it. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Addie Ziegler

Good food

Mary Kubicek

Great bloodies and you can bring your dog to outdoor tables....nice view too!

Kelsey Storm

Had the pleasure of enjoying their Easter Sunday buffet. Large selection of food and desserts with an extensive drink menu and beautiful view of the harbor. Service could have been better but it wasn’t a traditional meal service and I could see it was slightly chaotic with the buffet setting. Hostess was wonderful and very friendly, ensuring guests were enjoying themselves which was appreciated. The decor and ambiance with the bar is truly wonderful and creates a fun dining atmosphere. Happy we were able to get a reservation!

Basquin Family

Wow...fun place with great cozy vibe...fresh homemade food that is a welcome relief from the usual WI fried food...Eggs Benedict (several varieties, I got vegetarian) are amazing...don’t make the mistake of staying on the west side...go east and explore this little gem

Maggie

Service and food was incredible. We had a new waitress who was very kind and friendly and did a great job. The food was outstanding and absolutely delicious.

Joshua Werner

Food was ok, my fish sandwich was full of bones, service was ok at best very slow

Roger Trovato

Great food. Good location.

Phil

Very,very good food.A little pricey.

Dennis Horn

Visited for lunch with a party of four and found the food to be very tasty and well prepared. I got my first ever lobster roll and while expensive at $17, it was worth it. They bring the roll on their own home-baked bread, instead of the traditional hot dog bun, but it was delicious.

David Juleen

Great service, drinks and food. 3rd time there

Robbi Deits

What an absolutely delightful place! The decorating is adorable, the food consistently excellent, and the service ultra friendly and expert. The owner actually went out of her way to mark the buffet with allergy warnings. I have never seen a proprietor do that, and it was absolutely appreciated, not just by me, but by several vegans and other allergic guests. Wow!Wow! Wow!

We went with the staff menu recommendation for the day, soft taco with grilled mahi mahi. It was so good!

Spencer Nelson

Had a great brunch here. Sit outside if you can - the flower garden and view of the lake is beautiful.

My all-time favorite thing about this place is Karen and Carl the Owner and the food is wonderful

Lisa Peterson

Fantastic food! Great service. Excellent views.

Cute little seafood restaurant on the water with a great menu and atmosphere. Service was awesome. (Pam was a lovely, attentive waitress.) Would return for another meal!

Food was good, but not great. That said I don't consider it fine dining and feel the prices were too high. Maybe do away with the butcher paper table toppers. It was obnoxious when staff would crumpling it up to replace them, not to mention being hit in the head by the large sheet of paper.

Historic restaurant with lake views and good seafood selections. Enjoyed the lobster boil complimented with mussels and clams. The lobster bisque is delicious.

Went here September 2018 for breakfast. Delicious, cool old building and loved the marine art on the walls.

Sankar Jena

Good and fresh food. Good ambiance.

Julia Pickarts

We shared the lobster bisque and the lox on the lunch menu. Both were excellent, the bisque needed a bit more salt and fresh ground pepper, but that was an easy fix. Sat outside and enjoyed the view and weather, out of the wind! We had Emily for our server who was welcoming, knowledgeable and so friendly! I look forward to returning again in the near future.

Great breakfast. Good staff. Beware of the prices of the mimosas good but pricey.

Kara Nolan

Yum! Both my husband and I got the lobster boil. So glad we decided not to share. It was delicious!! The kids both had chicken tenders which satisfied their bellies. It was a great spot outside in between the flowers and the water. My belly is happy! Service was good.

Neil Gleason

Nice lunch with fast and exceptionally friendly service.

Debbie Smith

Waited over 30 minutes for food. The food was good but the cooking needs to get faster.

Robert Mattes

Breakfast was great. Good coffee too.

ABDALLAH OMAR

Fantastic lobster roll!! Great lake view when you sit outside

This is the best restaurant in Door County. Everything is very good. I'm not kidding! We are from Marco Island Florida and Naples. And even in SW Florida this would be one of the best. We are staying in Fish Creek and drove. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are hugmongoud! I think the fish tank TV is a riot

The Chad

Great food and outdoor dining on the lake. Great kids menu, real food, my children loved it. Pricey $$$$

We all only have so much free time.. Making a decision on a new destination can produce a lot of debate ; because so much of Wisconsin can rival so many places in the BEAUTY CATEGORY!!! What I have found across the board : Joy of daily life is flourishing in Baileys Harbor! I truly hope

lynne stoner

kathleen companik

This place is great. Walley Sandwich is on fire. Bottled Sundrop! I am a wimp

Cindy Petted

We had an awesome experience with our friends. We enjoyed made-from-scratch entrees in a cozy atmosphere. Don't forget to try a Cherry Bounce Old Fashion.

Laura Janetski

We had fantastic drinks served by the bartender, Tony, and were provided with great food recommendations by multiple staff members. Our server, Pam, was friendly and prompt. The food did not disappoint! We had a steak special and the filet mignon. Both were one of the best steaks we have ever had! Looking forward to returning next year.
