Great fish place, unfortunately new owner is from Madison area and really doesn't understand the breadth of our local markets. They no longer cut fish on Watertown plank road- usually this doesn't bode well, but we will see. The store has a long history of supplying superior product - a tradition hopefully the new owners can sustain.

This is a premiere fish and seafood outlet in Milwaukee. If you get fish or seafood at a restaurant or store in the Milwaukee area, there is a fair chance that it came through Empire fish. This is only a retail outlet, yet they carry just about any fish or seafood item that you might need. They carry both fresh and frozen items, and have weekly specials. Make sure you ask about their rewards program.

Empire Fish has been a Milwaukee area staple for many years. I've been shopping there for over 25 years and I'm VERY picky about fish. Their lake fish are so fresh, especially the Lake Perch, Walleye, and Northern Pike. In addition to the lake fish, they also carry a very wide variety of river (trout, salmon, catfish), and ocean fish, as well as an extensive variety of seafood.

I went a few times to the store and every time I go I’m looked past or the people behind the counter take people who are standing behind me. Great products but unless you drive a Mercedes or a Corvette or at least look like you have money don’t expect to be treated like they treat others. Especially if it’s clear you’re a construction worker.

This is the best that the Milwaukee area offers. I don't get to shop as often as I'd like since I live in Bayside and the weather is not always for a cross county trip.
