If you have a pet, you NEED to shop here! The store is clean, cheerful and the employees are all very friendly! They carry all the BEST brands at competitive prices. Plus, they carry brands like Fussie Cat, Orjin, Acana, Tiki Cat and Lucy's Pet Products, which are hard to find elsewhere. Personally, I feed Instinct, LID Turkey and Orjin dry. The staff is very knowledgeable and won't BS you for a sale. I find that very refreshing (not to mention they always seem to have a variety of samples for you to try before buying). Plus they seem to do fun events around the holidays.

The store has a very good selection of natural and safe products for all pets. In store ruff wear which is a huge bonus. Will make this my go to pet supply store.

They always has a ton of cats up for adoption or that need housing temporarily. They have a wide selection of cat food that you won't find in your normal grocery store. Prices are a little higher but it is a local business so that evens out in my mind. They constantly have fundraisers for cats and dogs that need extra help. The staff are polite they're knowledgeable and their friendly. Though deaf my help you out if you're looking for something a little more pricey or high quality for your pet. They have a wide selection of foods that are good for cats with sensitive stomachs or enzyme problems as well. I speak from experience. I actually adopted one of my cats from Chico's as well I'm 1 of their adoption drives. Friend of mine volunteers here once a week so I may have a bit of a bias but it's still a nice pet shop and they have plenty of things to take a look at. Don't mistake the biscuits for dogs for human cookies. I did take this for granted and ended up eating part of one. No clue how things work for dogs but they definitely have quite the selection

Staff is very knowledgable of products. The only thing I did not like was that I felt as if I was being watched throughout the store as if I were a thief of some sort. It’s the second time I go here and have felt as if the staff was coming to check on me more often than they were others.

I'm pretty sure you guys helped save my fish. I'm treating a new fish I mistakenly bought from a big box store ( NEVER EVER AGAIN will I make that mistake). And one of your employees gave me their personal bottle of copper safe so I could make sure my fish would be OK. His tank got treated Saturday night and I've noticed some small improvements in his behavior already. I'm feeling pretty confident that he'll be OK, and your employee is DIRECTLY responsible for this. And I couldn't be more grateful.

Best pet store in NOVA, from their crazy variety of treats to memory foam pet beds, you can find just top quality food for your beloved fury one. Your thing are fish or reptiles? They got you cover! The store manager is a fish expert and he can guide you from your new first fish to a whole 1k gal. tank! Is locally own and operated by a great woman who adores animals and is very committed with dogs and cats rescues!

I Love this place for my pets. I am so thankful for the quality of food and product. Adoptable cats are available all the time. If I were a dog I'd want to be groomed here. Then entire atmosphere is so cheerful and positive. You get what you pay for.

The Owner is great, she is knowledgeable about the products she carries and friendly. I had bought a few insect repellent shirts on clearance that were to small for my dogs. I wanted to swap them for a bigger size. She didn't have the large sized shirts on clearance. She swapped it out for another shirt that was full price and discounted it so that I didn't have to pay anything. Corporate stores never would have done that for me. She has an entire line of Ruff Wear items for great prices, I will be taking my dogs in next week to try things on and purchase the harnesses, cooling jackets, cooling guard and under guard.

I am a new owner of a Betta fish and was worried because my Betta is sick.. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. They answered all my queries with so much patience and enthusiasm.. They are very customer friendly.. This place has everything for my fish - different types of food, aquarium salt, antibiotics, water plants for the aquarium, automatic vacation feeder.. The staff answered my questions with respect to all of these.. This place will definitely be my to go shop for pet supply!!

I was blown away by the LARGE selection of unique fish Chico's has in stock. Finally found the Sumo loach that I've searched for for years and so many more. Too tempting. To top that, the amount of cats they have for adoption is awesome. And as pretty much everyone else has stated, a very friendly knowledgeable staff and very clean store. Clean, organized and ethical store. If you have an aquarium and need a Local Fish Store (LFS) give Chico's a try. Great selection of fish, shrimp and snails. They have Multiple types of shrimp if you're like to diversify you're population. They have a nano tank section as well.

Adorable, well-stocked local pet store, with inventive products as well as the classic favorites. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and there's even a cat adoption room with up to 15 felines looking for a new forever home. This is an excellent pet store, forget PetSmart and come here instead!

FANTASTIC STORE! I always support small businesses first, and this is one of the best pet stores at which I've ever shopped. It is a mom and pop shop with the personality of a big chain store. They have an large array of pet supplies and products. They always have exotic and interesting fish that are difficult to find in larger chain stores. They usually have a great variety of shrimp and even have lobsters from time to time. Their tanks are well kept, contain minimal detritus, and are always presentable. They seem to sincerely care for every animal in the store, being watchful of any deleterious conditions. The staff is friendly, respectful. They also exhibit a knowledge and understanding of their animals and products and are always willing to offer advice to customers. A big plus - they remember patrons when they come in. While I have not utilized the dog groomer, I hear she has an amazing reputation. They have a great return policy on pets - usually 48 hours which is reasonable, and no questions asked. If you are looking for an organic food for your dog or cat, this is the place. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed!
