0-5 is the amount of times in the last 5 visits my order has been given to me correctly. First it was them forgetting to put in the sauces I asked for, then it was never giving me spicy, and now the last straw is giving me no spicy, the wrong sauces, and a small fry when I ordered a large! Now I did go back and have them fix that last mistake. On top of how wrong my order comes through, they also take sooooo long. Whether it be drive through or go in to order take out (cause I have to double check their work) it is usually a 20-40 minute ordeal. This place can't get it right which is so unfortunate cause it's so close to my house and I love the food!!!

Cold food and less than ideal service for this location on both visits. I won't return here. The location up north a few miles has always provided great service and delicious hot food. Unless something has changed recently, I would definitely recommend the location by Thanksgiving Point, but not the one off the Main Street AF/Lehi exit. My 3 stars reflects an average of the two locations.

Food was okay, but we were the only order there, sat in the drive through "waiting area" for over 20 minutes and then the order we got wasn't even close to what we ordered. Not too upset about what we got instead, I just think if a lone order takes that long to make, it should at least be correct.

The chicken has a taste of refrigeration and that I don't like, the taste of chicken is much better at the location of Lehi, but we prefer to come here than that of Lehi for the customer deal, in Lehi they are very rude and that is very bad for us customers. It's a relief that in this place you have a better attitude because I really like the tenders package with the potatoes, the bread and the soda.

Had lots of cooked chicken when I was the only customer for the thirty minutes I was there, it was bland and had been sitting there for awhile. The dining room was very dirty, had to wipe down my table. There wasn’t a single clean one. My entire order of food was not appetizing. Will never come back to this location.

When we ordered she said it would be less than 5 minutes for hot chicken nuggets. We pulled forward and after 10 minutes I walked in. "Oh yeah, here it is!" The nuggets were hot, but the shrimp was cold, and the order was wrong, but I wasnt going to sit around for another 10 minutes for them to correct it.

I have never, EVER been to a Popeye's but I had to see what all the hype was about. The lobby was closed due to "technical difficulties" so the drive-thru was rather busy (on a Sunday in Utah County, even!) The service was good ... they were doing what they could (not sure how many were staffed ... saw 2). It was a bit of wait, but GUESS WHAT, people? The world doesn't revolve around you, and sometimes ... you just have to wait. Everyone needs to stop being in such a big hurry and expecting these kids to cater to YOUR schedule. It is what is. That being said ... BEST.CHICKEN.SANDWICH.EVER!! I'm picky, too! My first bite into that breading and I thought I died and went to heaven! Yes, I like CF-A, but ... this was seriously a huge and juicy piece of chicken! It was great to the last bite! I liked the cajun fries, too (but they weren't spicy at all, which is fine). Very crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! I was a happy camper! Better than a $12 burger I got an alleged "Gourmet Grill" about a month ago!! I'd go back!! (Not if I was in a huge hurry, though!)

Probably the worst Popeyes I have ever been to. My aunt and I went for lunch today and had to wait about 5 minutes before someone even noticed we were there. They took our order fine, but instead of giving us the mashed potatoes we ordered, they have us a macaroni instead. When I went up and asked for the mashed potatoes I ordered, the girl that took my order said I ordered macaroni and that there was already a mashed potato on my tray when in fact there was not. When I walked away, my aunt said she could see the employee tell her friend that I had ordered macaroni. And the restaurant was FLITHY. Almost all of the tables had crumbs on them, all of the seats were dirty, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in a few days. The food was good, but other than that, this has been the worst experience I have ever had at a Popeyes restaurant. Do not recommend coming here.

It seems management at this location struggles to control the store's operation. I've been going here for months because their spicy fried chicken and sweet heat sauce is extremely tasty, but most times I go there are major problems, like getting home and realizing I received regular chicken instead of spicy and no sauce despite asking for it. I called to complain and they offered us a free meal, but when I went back, the CSR acted like I was lying when I gave them our name and phone number and requested the free meal. A disabled CSR once told me I don't get sauce with my chicken, and then the supervisor berated him to give me the sauce. I have sent my assistant manager to pickup orders to discover the wait was quite long, 10 minutes inside without even getting an order taken one time. The fountain area tends to be dirty with trash and spills when I go. But they do have a nice setup inside with decorations, TVs, and music, and their food is very tasty. Sometimes I go and there are no issues for which I am grateful.

My family had never had popeyes before this day and told me its gross and never want it again. So that being said this place won't be getting repeat business from us.

Their food is actually pretty good. But almost every time I've been there they have left items out of my order. They can manage to put a single combo meal together, but anytime you add an extra item e.g. an extra biscuit, an extra side, etc. it rarely ends up in the bag.

Love Popeyes Chicken! My rating is based solely on serving size and wait times. I ordered spicy chicken strips and fries. I got regular not spicy, it took a little longer than I expected, the chicken strips were a bit small, and my fries looked pathetic. But it all tasted great. Nice treat, nice costumer service.

I will NEVER go back to this Popeyes again! We used to go to this one in American Fork but stopped going due to service and quality of food. We would drive from Orem to Lehi instead to get our Popeyes. Tonight I decided to give this one another try and was sorely disappointed! I had to wait 15 mins for my chicken (which is not why I am upset) but after I received my chicken I was missing a piece. So I went back and asked for my missing thigh. They refused to give it to me unless I handed them over my box of 13 pieces for them to handle and count the chicken themselves even though I showed the guy at the drive thru and counted it in front of him 3 times! He kept saying they counted it and there was 14 when clearly it was missing a thigh. So I said “fine! I will call your manager later”. And he said “fine! Go ahead!” So i went inside and asked to talk to the manager. Had to wait about 10 mins for him and he didn’t even apologize for how I was treated. They were out of mild chicken (again) and said I would have to wait another 15 mins. I said just give me spicy then. I am so appalled this is how they treat their customers! By the time I was able to get home it had been an hour since I ordered my food. I live 12 mins away. My food was cold. Do yourself a favor and drive up to Lehi instead. Their service is stellar and their quality of food is much better. Portions better too.

From when I finished ordering to when I had the correct food in my car, there was a gap of 45 minutes. There were no other cars in the drive thru, it was 3 in the afternoon, and there were 4 cars in the parking lot, 3 if which I'm certain belonged to employees. After the first 25 minutes, I got to the window, I discovered they'd gotten literally everything wrong about my order except for the biscuit. Another 20 minutes of waiting, they asked for the previous food back, which I gave. How they managed to mess this up with only 2 customers in the store, I have no idea. The only reason this even has 2 stars instead of 1 is because Popeye's chicken is addictive and delicious. Fantastic food, one of the most miserable drive thru's I've ever experienced. Only visit if you have an hour or two to spare.

We went through the drive through when they were clearly understaffed. We waited for about 20 to get ordered and get are food. It looked like there was only 1 guy plus someone cooking the food that was working. He brought us our food and had free drinks for us, gave us a couple apple pies and extra food. You could tell he was stressed and felt awful, but he handled the situation amazingly, especially for it being crazy busy and him being the only one taking orders. Great customer service! He deserves a raise!!

Spicy chicken is where it is at! I have been thrilled to have Popeyes in Utah for the past few years. Chicken is fried well. Biscuits are buttery and delicious. They have one of my all-time favorite fast food sides in the red beans and rice. I will almost always choose Popeyes over other national fast food chicken chains. Employees are good at what they do. Parking is OK, but busy due to all the other businesses around. Egress is complicated by one way entrances, awkwardly placed stop signs, and busy streets surrounding the restaurant.

We were in the drive thru for 50 min. There was only four workers and two of them were very difficult. Service is TERRIBLE and I would rate 0 stars if possible. HORRIBLE PLACE after all of this at least we got two free pies? Never coming back, would not recommend at all. Went at 7:30 pm drive thru was backed up until we left.

Terrible service. I don't know if it was the speaker, Mic or user, but I could barely understand the person through the drive-through line to put my order and kept having to ask them to repeat what they were saying. When I got up to pay , they said it would take about 10 to 12 minutes to cook my order and asked me to pull to the side. It took 28 minutes before I got my order. The food was okay but not worth the hassle thus the two stars instead of only one.

Out of almost every side. We got our 10 price tenders well before the family with kids in front of us got there’s who ordered even before we entered the building. They did not tell us until after we went to get the food that they did not have that side we ordered. I had to ask for our drink cups 3 times. Place looks like it has not been cleaned. Even the front counter looks like a few little kids were eating all over it. In all not very happy with the service and the food was incorrect but my little cousin was hungry enough to eat it.

Popeyes has some great chicken. With that being said, this location has problems every time I go there. Today there one was one person trying to handle the drive through, front counter, order prep and distribution all by himself. One. There wasn't another employee in sight. My order was rushed, the place looked like a mess and the soda machine was low on syrup. I didn't even bother mentioning any of it because quite frankly I felt sorry for the guy. Finally got my food, drove home and went to dig in just to find out that it's not even the type of chicken that I ordered. My guess is they ran out of spicy and he gave me regular instead. At least he threw in a couple extra pieces as compensation, bless his poor overworked soul. Good food. Terrible management.

Don’t do it! Went there for lunch today (for the first time in at least 5 years) and tried their chicken sandwich and after waiting over 10 minutes for it to be done (employee said it would take 5 minutes) I took 3 bites and noticed the third bite had a weird texture. Sure enough the entire center of my sandwich was RAW. So thanks Popeyes for the raw sandwich. The employee did refund my $4.23 and gave me a free drink to wash the taste of raw chicken out of my mouth. But nothing will wash the feeling of biting into a raw sandwich out of my mind.

I read a lot of the reviews before coming here so I was skeptical but even though they were packed I got my food in a timely manner the employees were working Hard and the manager was very friendly and apologetic to all the customers . I’m just confused about the complaints on here because from my experience I give this place a 10/10. It’s very clean and after it being packed there was a huge mess but didn’t take long for the employees to get out and clean it all. Don’t let someone’s review after having a bad day take away your chance from Visiting this place . You can tell a lot of the complaints are just people who have nothing better to do than complain . I even noticed a review talking about a “Hispanic manager being off” , there was absolutely nothing off with the managers I saw . Clearly some that review was left by a racist loser . Love this place !

The other day, my wife and I stopped by this location because we really wanted Popeyes and missed the location in Lehi. First off, we probably waited in the drive through for 10 minutes before we even got a chance to get up to make our order. Once it was our turn, we were told to wait, which we did, for another 10 minutes. As I was getting ready to leave, I was asked for my order. After ordering our food, we paid and were told that we needed to pull off to the side and wait for our food to cook. We didn’t order anything out of the ordinary, just two 3 piece chicken tender meals. Everyone behind us got their food way before we got ours. We waited for 15 minutes for our food. Once it arrived and we began to eat, our fries were cold, crunchy, and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. Then later that night, my wife and I both had major stomach aches from eating this food. Avoid this location at all costs!!

This Popeyes is great at making you wait in line for 45 minutes as you ordered a large is but yet receive smalls. I did like how they took their time to make sure they knew what sauces I wanted with which orders even though when I got home I was sauceless. I ordered something that apparently they didn't even know they made. They were out of green beans they were out of frozen lemonade they were pretty much out of anything you wanted including good customer service cuz the sixteen-year-old had no idea how to talk to me. I guess if you took the time to actually read this review you will take the time to drive to traverse mountain to hit the other Popeyes instead of this one. But don't get your hopes up expecting the greatest because they're not too much better unfortunately

This location has awful customer service. We ordered 2 specials they had signed at their location that included sides. We were told it would be 4 min for fresh food. We waited 25 min. When We finally got our order no sides. I went back and pointed it out and was told I didn't order that. She said to look at my receipt. Well when I ordered they were conveniently out of paper. In our bag was the condiments for the sides? Why not just give us what we asked and paid for? Seriously. What a joke.

Better bring a pillow, cause they average about 7-10 minutes a car in the drive thru--at non busy times. Dunno why it's so slow here, but it really degrades the experience. Food is usually pretty good, though. Honestly, if there are more than 4 people in front of you, don't even bother. The wait will be over an hour.

Love this place. It is a little slice of home. The tea is great and chicken is better. They play good cajun music makes me fill like I am in the French quarters again. The setting area is clean and easy to get around in a wheelchair. The drink machines are easy to use and love that I can make or flavor my drink how ever i fill like. Friendly staff nice and was helpful in answering questions about the food.

Disappointing. Chicken was dry. Not fresh. I understand food waste cost, but I'd rather wait for fresh chicken than have old chicken. Red beans and rice were the highlight.

We were there at 3 p.m. so we thought we may have a short wait to get chicken, but we waited 40 minutes & they were not busy. The person taking our order was obviously new & no one else seemed willing to help him. Although I repeated my order to him 3 times he still substituted a 3 piece chicken dinner for chicken strips. The tables were almost all dirty...not just needing wiped but trays, napkins, etc. on them & on the floor. Workers were standing around chatting, sitting on the counter, & talking on their cell phones. We were in there over an hour! and during that time no one even checked the dining area to see if anything needed cleaning. I feel sorry for this franchise owner & hope that person becomes more of a presence at this location. The food was good, but we won't be back.

I don't come here often, but today I waited in the drive thru for 30+ minutes, only two cars in front of me, and then when I finally get my order it turns out it wasn't my order... I got a drink that I didn't want and a 3 piece chicken tenders instead of 5 piece, plus I paid an extra $2 for two "kids toy" that I not only didn't order, but they didn't even include in the bag. Didn't even get the dipping sauce right. It was a huge, disappointing, expensive, waste of time. I'm assuming it might be a management issue... I think only one guy was working drive thru AND dining room, and possibly kitchen too?

Food was okay, I have been to other Popeyes that were better. Biggest issue is the place is really slow. I waited behind two cars for over 20 minutes. Not sure if it is a staffing issue or not. I have been to this location twice, slow both times.

My wife and I decided to give it a try for the first time the other day and we really enjoyed it! We didn't have a bad experience as the trend seems to be with this location. Our food was ready quickly and it was hot. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The windows could be tinted a little due to the brightness of the sun beating down in there but that's it. I hope to continue to have a good experience.

I have been to just about every popyes in the utah/salt lake county and this one in American fork always disappoints.. last night I went there and the staff was lacking bad with two teen girls chatting away while I stand there waiting to order. But what was the icing on the cake was the Regular side of jambalaya they give me it had maybe a spoon full in there and was so greasy!! Worst popyes in utah hands down

I bout 4 pcs and 8pcs as meal with fries and biscuits. When I got home I opened my meal and There was no fries and biscuits. I called them for refund, and they said they cant. I know its possible to refund all money and pay for only chicken. Ther service was too bad and also they told me to come pick up rest meal they missed. I dont want to goie even one star. I loved popeyes chicken but now on Im never goig back.

Food is decent, though chicken is on the small side. I feel like 3 pieces of Popeyes=2 pieces of KFC. When I went, Popeye's Chicken sandwich was new, so the line too an hour and they were out of a lot of stuff. That being said, did was decent enough, for fast food.

We love Popeyes Chicken and we always know what to expect with our food when eating here, but we seem to have more issues at this specific location. On our last visit we ordered 5 boxed meals and they had us pull our car up to wait about 5-10 minutes. When they brought one bag of food out to the car I asked her to confirm that all 5 boxed meals and the sides were in that one bag and she said "I don't know, I just cooked your corn on the cob." I had to ask her 3 times, before checking myself, and we were missing 2 of the dinners. Had I drove home 20 minutes before noticing that I would have been VERY upset. So the food is great, but their service needs some improvement, and double check your take out orders.

Pretty much a joke. We came in here with our 3 kids.... it took 30 minutes to get our food after ordering, then the order was wrong. They didn’t bring out part of our food, and then they gave our kid the Cajun chicken nuggets instead of the mild. When I approached the manager about the delay, he acted like he didn’t care.... I didn’t even attempt to get the kids meal corrected. It would have taken too much time. I won’t be coming back.

They always get my order wrong! It actually just happened today. I ordered a number two with red bean rice. When I got home and opened my takeout bag there was fries instead. this has happened multiple times. They also didn't give us kechup or butter or honey to go with the biscuit

I love Popeyes food — food gets 4-5 stars. However, this location is usually pretty slow. Today, my 30-minute wait in the drivethru triggered this review. Yes, it was around lunchtime, but I was also only the 2nd car in line.... nothing about that food was fast! Not that it’s required of them, but there wasn’t even any recognition or apology at the window. I’m pretty disappointed.
