They don’t have tying material. That said, the owner is a stud! I was going to leave but my 3 year old daughter had a hat. I told her to put it back and she got sad. I was loading my kids in my car when the owner walks out and hands my kid the hat. I was like “we can’t accept this.” He said “just take it so she’ll be happy. Lifetime customer here.

Forgot my wallet on the way fishing. I needed some tippet so I stopped into fishheads to see if they accepted apple pay. They didn't but we're very eager to help, couldn't figure out another way to pay for it so the owner just told me to take it and hit him back next time. I love this place and will definitely be back to pay for my tippet and make all my purchases.

Excellent service and guides! We stay in Heber City as kind of a mid-way to where we're heading. We've fished the Provo at the far end of town, fished the upper Provo up in the Uintas and then the Green River in Wyoming below Fontenelle Reservoir. Fishheads guides helped us have a great experience.

Went to Fish Heads for first time yesterday and chatted up Ben. In addition to being the owner, Ben is also the resident guide. Great advice and fly suggestions is what sets any shop apart. In this area, Ben excelled! Remember, I was a stranger when I walked in. He not only told me where to fish and what fly to use but also timed the hatch! Awesome !!!!

Recently stayed in midway Utah with My seven year old son. We wanted to try and catch a few trout out of the Provo river that runs pretty much right thru town. Stopped in this shop twice. The first time the shop was named by two younger fellas, one I think it's brown trout Jesus on Instagram. These dudes were cool. Super friendly, helpful in selecting flies that would work, actually that did work (my boy got a 19" brown that evening). My boy felt really special for the attention they paid to him and the enthusiasm they showed about his fishing. Ob the second day I think we met tyre owner, who was also super helpful and even gave my boy a free small fly box after hearing how he outfished me. Go here. You will not be disappointed!
