Great little shop for all aquarium needs, they even have some really cool reptiles and other pets. The pricing is very good and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We went in to buy my daughter a new fish and ended up buying an aquarium for her new fish to live in. They were very friendly and kind to my kids, and my kids can be a bit much at times. We didn't plan on buying a new aquarium and they didn't even have it set up but as I was talking to the gentleman who helped me I asked about what they offered, the set up was so nice and the price was great I couldn't pass it up. I can't wait to go back again and get a bigger set up.

This place has been our go-to for a couple of years now and every person working there is stellar. Jeff (the owner) is a reasonable and honest guy to deal with. They do the maintenance on my 225gal and to be honest have saved my butt many times. In fact, recently I had a situation where I began to lose some livestock and Jeff immediately spotted the problem and offered a solution but i didn’t listen to him until after a lot of damage had been done to my tank. Should have trusted the expert more! He was professional and gracious about it and never once told me “I told you so” (even though i would have told me that haha). Great people, great service, fair prices. I’m done.

Not really what we thought it would look like. It was really cool but in one tank there was a Oscar fish that was about three in a half inches big. And it had about four inches of water and had to bend over to swim. I think they really need to clean up and especially give that Oscar more room to swim.

You will really want to go there! I just went in there to see what they had because I was fed up w/ other pet stores in the area, I asked a few questions about my newly set up saltwater tank, I did not have live sand or live rock and he gave me a live rock for free!! it was small but heck it was free. when my tank is established i will be buying my fish from here. It does smell a little bit but definitely wont matter when you walk out because you will be 100% satisfied

Jeff's store is my favorite fish store to visit. They are friendly and always willing to answer my many questions. They mainly deal with Saltwater but they do have a few freshwater items as well! If they don't have a fish I want they are more than willing to try and get it in for me. Not to mention they offer the best prices in the area!

Jeff and his staff have been nothing but helpful. They have all helped me figure the best way to achieve the marine tank I've been building. I would not have been able to build the tank I truly wanted without their help. I read another review that said that they are priced high but through all the places I have been to compare prices and fish, I always come back to them! Really, if you take the time to tell them what your goal is, they will bend over backwards to help you achieve it. Just talk to them, if they tell you they wouldn't recommend something there is a reason and they will be more than happy to explain their recommendation or reasoning. They have a ton of knowledge and love to share it for the health of their animals and yours.

Love the store and owner, some of the other staff not so much. Went in on Sunday, 2 employees were sitting at the register eating and playing a game on the computer and promptly told me Sunday was their lazy day and didn't get up to assist me. They were out of the items I had come to purchase, told me they couldn't control when things were delivered. The store itself is great and has an amazing selection, owner Jeff is always helpful!

Jeff has gone WAY above consumer service every time I've been in the store. My first purchase was a used light, he could have just sold it to me but instead he spent an hour re programming it for me so I wouldn't have to. If you have a saltwater tank this is the right place, if you have freshwater the have a scarce variety. They have well taken care of reptiles and mammals as well. The store is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. The animals are good quality and well taken care of.

Great staff! Super friendly and they seem to really know their stuff. Far too often stores in this trade get greedy but the Smayda team breaks the cycle for sure! They are always willing to go above and beyond to help their customers out even if it means rescheduling 3 times (oops sorry guys) or helping me find a good set up for my first predator tank.
