Bought some gift certificates off of KYOX radio station and went a couple weeks ago to try them out. They had the biggest and best Chicken Fried Steak ever! If you order the regular steak it takes up the whole plate and you get another plate for the home made fries and toast. Really enjoyed ourselves.

What a GREAT chicken fried steak, didn't know what to expect from a gas station/ convenience store/restaurant, well it was so good!! Everyone from the guy next door to people from near by towns to the travelers going down HWY 183 between Austin and Lubbock. A must stop on your way the feel was great the staff friendly and the food simply amazing

Although not a five star restaurant, it's one of the better eating establishments around the Mullin,Texas metropolis! My wife and I always split the catfish plate on weekends as the portions are always adequate for us. I was not impressed with the added shrimp. Shrimp size was too small and the batter was too thick and overcooked. Lunch Specials are always quick and delicious. The hamburgers are delicious. The staff is most accommodating and friendly.

I drive a truck all over the country, been a lot of places, eaten many different foods. But folks I'll tell you now, the burgers here are easily in the top three burgers I've ever had. The food is great, people are awesome, and the price is surprisingly low. If you find yourself traveling US-84, this is an absolute must stop.

I was on my way home from a long road trip and I needed to stop for nourishment. This was the place, I did not want to go any further. It was Inviting, Nice and cool, Very friendly staff and it is a bit of a convenient store but also a cafe. I ordered me up some onion rings they turned out to be homemade and they were awesome and I got a 1/2 pound Burger with cheese I ate all of it going down the highway And I was satisfied. Next time I go through Zephyr I'll probly eat there again

The ownership needs to make sure to pay the employees well so they can never leave. Jerry's in Bwd was my fav hamburger in these parts, but y'alls is the newly crowned king by a long ways. Dont be fooled by the outside apperance. Sure this is a gas station, but inside they serve some of the best burgers, breakfast and chicken fried steak I have ever had! Friendly service, exceptional food, budget friendly and fast. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for my food. Do yourself a favor and try it once. You'll definitely come back for more!
