Wow! Visited this place for the first time during the Dallas Restaurant Week just few days ago, and I was very impressed! First, once you sit at your table, you are welcomed by your server with some champagne on the house. Second, their restaurant week menu was phenomenal and everything we had were very delicious! The portions were perfect as well. We left 100% satisfied. The Beet Salad as first course was full of great flavors and awesome presentation! And the 2 mains: swordfish and Icelandic char were both wonderful! After all 3 courses, we were given a small box with 2 macaroons to take home with us - which were delicious by the way. Finally, I was mostly impressed at the effort the restaurant has put on the service and the menu for the restaurant week. They definitely showcased the restaurant very well. We will be definitely going back to dine many more times now with family and friends.

Oh my goodness. Found DFM on a google search while hubby was working in the area. Food, service, selection and atmosphere were great. Parking was a bit difficult but only had to walk about 2 1/2 blocks. Well worth the trip downtown.

Been here only once and It was a really good experience. The staff is extremely friendly and the service was good; no complaints there. Their cheddar jalapeno biscuits with honey and butter were to die for! You gotta get them because they're just that good. I ordered the fish and chips and I was fairly satisfied. The fish was light, airy, and very tasty along with the very distinct tartar sauce that came with it which was superb. The fries were nothing special, very simple, yet good. I definitely recommend that dish to anyone!

When we complained management explained that we got a discount for being in a group. So do not go here if you the staff to actually give to craps about the level of service or the food

This was a great restaurant! Adrianne was our server tonight. Everything was delicious and she made excellent suggestions to make our meal even better. Our table had oysters, three different sushi rolls, redfish, steak, crab cake, and tuna for dinner. The chocolate souffle, sorbet sampler, and olive oil cake were all amazing. We also had a selection of wine, cocktails, and beer but the best drink was the finishing "coffee" cocktails that mixologist prepared for us at the end. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Dallas!

The food was superb, but the portion to price ratio was rather small.

Dallas Fish market used to be a very fun and nice place to go. But lately, then food is just ok. They have always been out of the liquors to make the drinks I want. Just hard to recommend this place anymore. I've heard rumors of it being revamped, but I've just been disappointed with the lack of inventory. The food and cocktails is great, when they have the inventory.

Service was attentive and friendly as well, would definitely recommend. *Edit to my review - We came back to Dallas for a concert this past weekend and arrived at the restaurant at 6pm excited to show our friends the great food. There was 6 of us total. We walked in and spoke with a woman at the front desk who proceeded to laugh when we asked for a table of six. She told us it would be 30mins to an hour wait. Why did I knock my review to 2 stars you ask? Mostly due to the fact there was exactly 1 person in the entire restaurant at a table and 2 people at the bar. Oh well, guess I'll have to mark this one off the list, shame.

Sushi is mediocre and makes Kroger’s Sushi 5 star compared to this place. Service was good tho and good atmosphere. Save your money and dine elsewhere. Looks like the chef has given up.

It's not a restaurant as much as it is a store with a wonderful selection of Italian cooking offers from pastas to seasonings to meats to olive oils. You'll be amazed at all the offerings. And don't leave without ordering a muffaletta. They are large and delicious.

You are a sushi person or not. If you are, then you are always looking for the place as good as your current favorite. Well, this place rivals my favorite (Yamatani in Bishop, Ca) but with a different flair. Super touches with tiny tastes of citrus or fresh wasabi or pepper. Beautiful presentation does not hurt. Lovely decor and excellent service adds to the experience. Lots of surprise touches such as complimentary champagne and biscuits with maple butter.

Wow. Came here as a party of 15 ( wait, was it 6? 10? 13? No... 15.) Ok. So we didn't have a final count until a couple hours before... They we're gracious and professional and I appreciated their service. And let me say, ALL of our food was great. Personally, I had one of the poke bowls with half rice and half greens and also a Maki roll- it had salmon and lemon- my goodness, super unique and delish. Next to me, they ordered another roll... Honestly, we ordered so much and I can't go over it one by one, but there wasn't a single disappointment! Not one person had anything bad to say, and that says something when you've got 15! Our server was awesome - well informed and kept tabs on us. Again, food was terrific! Definitely come here. And if you must have some kind of land animal, there was a skirt steak, a filet, and a lamb chop. Really, everyone will go home happy, especially after the chocolate souffle. Lol.

Dfm management please read: will not return to dfm and will dissuade others from eating at dfm. Went for the new year's eve 2019 four-course meal menu and was dissatisfied. Dessert selections from menu were not available and certain cocktails out of stock...? It was a fixed menu!! If you advertise a premium priced menu do not have guests pick from dwindling options. The ingredients were not rare or exotic and were served in several ounce portions. How do you run out? Dallas fish market has competition for fixed menus at new years. Choose somewhere else like I will from now on. Do not offer a tablet for a drink menu yet: no reason to share a few tablets among tables that wait staff have to ferry around the restaurant when print menus will do. Also, the menu displayed was not up to date (out of stock liquors).

Naydean waited on me and was extremely polite, professional, attentive, and welcoming. I had the beet salad and seared salmon entree. The food was incredibly good and very high quality. The jalapeño biscuits and mini after dinner muffins were great as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for fresh tasting dishes with a lovely array of flavors.

Amazingly good food. The grilled Caesar salad was fantastic, grilled perfectly, a wonderful smoky flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and addictive....you will want more. It wasn’t super busy when we arrived but filled up as the night progressed. Try the desserts, you can’t go wrong and it’s a great way to finish the meal.

I actually didn't eat or drink at this place. I was looking for more televisions to watch the NBA playoffs, and they only had one or two. But I'm giving it five stars because the woman at the desk, Tonya Jordan, of DRG Concepts, despite not choosing to dined there, recommended another restaurant in the area. She called ahead to let them know I was coming, and when I got there the first drink was on them. Being from out of town, this was a very hospitable and friendly think you do; much appreciated. That's how it should work :)

OMG! This is a quality dining experience one MUST have. The menu is simple with a balance of appetizers entree's and specials, with a healthy portion of wine and spirits that includes fountain drinks (Coke products). Our server, Mon, was fabulous! Asked us if this was our first time dining here, and once we said yes, he took us through the menu with a smooth patience one would expect at a five star restaurant. As a matter of fact, the entire serving crew was just a smooth and pleasant. We will be sure to return every time we visit the area. Maybe the best scallops I've ever had. Had the surf-n-turf and was not disappointed. The waitstaff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails are inventive and delicious - though anything with "lavender" only refers to the color oddly. Had a great time and love the ambiance of the place. A new favorite seafood place of mine.

You are a sushi person or not. If you are, then you are always looking for the place as good as your current favorite. Well, this place rivals my favorite (Yamatani in Bishop, Ca) but with a different flair. Super touches with tiny tastes of citrus or fresh wasabi or pepper. Beautiful presentation does not hurt. Lovely decor and excellent service adds to the experience. Lots of surprise touches such as complimentary champagne and biscuits with maple butter.

Dfm management please read: will not return to dfm and will dissuade others from eating at dfm. Went for the new year's eve 2019 four-course meal menu and was dissatisfied. Dessert selections from menu were not available and certain cocktails out of stock...? It was a fixed menu!! If you advertise a premium priced menu do not have guests pick from dwindling options. The ingredients were not rare or exotic and were served in several ounce portions. How do you run out? Dallas fish market has competition for fixed menus at new years. Choose somewhere else like I will from now on. Do not offer a tablet for a drink menu yet: no reason to share a few tablets among tables that wait staff have to ferry around the restaurant when print menus will do. Also, the menu displayed was not up to date (out of stock liquors).

Naydean waited on me and was extremely polite, professional, attentive, and welcoming. I had the beet salad and seared salmon entree. The food was incredibly good and very high quality. The jalapeño biscuits and mini after dinner muffins were great as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for fresh tasting dishes with a lovely array of flavors.

We had a good size reservation of 9 people for a birthday, and none of us will ever go back. Unfortunately from start to finish everything but the food was unacceptable, from the drinks taking forever, to the food and none of it came to our table at the same time. We were there over two hours. The birthday girl was so mad by the end of it she talked to the manager, who mostly blamed herself and discounted ALL of our tickets. The waitress never seemed to know what was going on and served the wrong things to each of us. For the prices and style of this restaurant we were all extremely disappointed. Maybe we just came on a bad night? But we won't be back to find out.

During our visit, our server offered my fiancée and I samples of wine and salmon, which we both enjoyed immensely! I ordered the surf & turf and spicy tuna rolls, while my fiancée ordered the spicy peanut Thai shrimp poke bowl. The rolls were excellent, and better than some of the rolls I’ve had at sushi restaurants. The real star of the show is their white chocolate creme brûlée, which we ordered per recommendation from our server. Simply delectable! And don’t forget to ask for some of their cheese biscuits.

The menu items are well prepared with not only great presentation, but with a great fusion of fresh ingredients that compose a surprise flavor and unforgettable textures. Some thing as simple as fish tacos or poke are masterfully redesigned to match the high end appeal of this restaurant. Great for groups or date nigth. Perfect for a business meeting on a budget. Great wine menu offered as well.
