So we eat at Cracker Barrels all over the country, this one had biscuits that were absolutely on point & their gravy was also just as tasty. If you're a connoisseur of CB, you know that at times, the biscuits can lack fluffiness & gravy can be a little heavy on the lard flavor. Both were cooked to perfection. I love going to the Cracker Barrel store because it’s fun to see all the unique items they carry. There pancakes are delicious. Anything besides breakfast there is very average. With that being said, I was not pleased with the sticky dirty tables, sticky menus and unfriendly, unprofessional servers.

Theodore was very pleasing and attentive. We ordered a maple jam burger but our burger was missing the bacon and the maple jam (not his fault, we checked the ticket) Theodore was prompt to fix the mistake and was very polite and charming.

Not bad place to go for a casual bite. We had a party of seven and the hostess seated us at a table that was for six people so one of our party had to sit in the aisle seat. Other than that was a okay experience.

I went yesterday to have dinner with my boyfriend and my goodness was the service the worst. Not only did it take our waitress 5 minutes to acknowledge us, when she did she told us she’d be right with us. After a minute or so she came and got our drinks down and asked her I was ready to order right there and then because I knew it was going to be another long while for her to come take our order. I asked her for my drink in a to go cup she brought out my drink in the regular cups they use and brought me a to go cup on the side. I then told her I wanted my hamburger steak with brown gravy and she just brought me the gravy on the side. She never once checked up on us until her helper brought our food out and I asked her if she could give us a refill she then comes to our table and she gives my boyfriend a refill and never once brought mine. After she brought the refill she placed our tab on the table and never saw her again. I called to speak to the manager and all he could say was that she did company policy by leaving the ticket there and that he apologized for anything else. I felt like I was being kicked out mind you I never got a refill I ate my ice to avoid choking on my meal. The tables were dirty and it was just a mess in there. I usually go to the one on 410 and never have they ever placed my tab on the table after taking my meal out also they ask if I would be interested in any type of dessert very disappointing.

THE steak is like 50 grit sand paper. Its guaranteed to stand on end. You will need a chain saw to cut it. However it tastes pretty good. Also this is one of the most fun placed I have ever found to eat! I always stop at Cracker Barrel. I always love the people working their !

Cracker Barrel is interesting because all the food is super rich and you can order breakfast and lunch whenever. I would suggest the fried chicken or the chicken fried chicken.... sk for a fried egg on top, they'll do and you'll love it! It's very good, and very rich. Then when you're done, swing by the store and look at all the country store nick nacks.

This was my first time eating from Cracker Barrel or any Virginia-style food, and let’s just say I was extremely disappointed. I came here straight from Dulles Airport to get some breakfast, and started with a 30 minute wait. While waiting, I looked at the menu which seemed to me as the portions were going to be enormous and very appetizing (maybe I was really hungry). I ordered scrambled eggs with hash browns and turkey patties. When the food came the service took no longer than 10 minutes), I got a beige plate with very little, squared eggs, two turkey patties the size of a dog’s paw, and a cube of hash browns with grease all over. I ate as much as I could without getting sick, but still got an upset stomach. I’m from California, and I don’t know if it was just this place or not, but the food was terrible. I’m never going to go there again.

Hands down, the best service I've had 'anywhere' in a very long time. My waitress this evening was Kayla and she had a very large party in addition to myself and other tables yet she kept everything running smoothly. Her attention to detail is impressive and I say this because no matter where I go when I order something a particular way it's almost always either not what I order or it's missing something yet not the case with Kayla. As a former waitress at a couple of very nice establishments when I was much younger, I'm really kind of critical but Kayla was 'spot on'. Also, for dinner I had breakfast and everything was hot and delicious so kudos for that, too. Thank you Kayla for a very enjoyable meal and sublime service.

I always have a good experience at this location. The staff are always friendly and the wait for a table is generally short. The food is always really good! I can definitely recommend the Mama's french toast and the Wild Maine Blueberry pancakes. From the lunch menu, the Apple Cider BBQ chicken breast is really good! All in all, always a good choice and the price is really fair!

Tried to eat at the Sterling location on Sunday. Assume the food is good because they were crazy busy, but the girl working at the door took my name and number in my party (only 2 of us), then neglected to add my name to the waitlist!! We waited for 30 minutes before my husband finally asked the hostess how much longer our wait would be, and he was told we were not on the list. Unbelievable. RUINED a birthday celebration.

I love this restaurant! Always have. We recently had a company event we were attending and came to this restaurant. We had been waiting for half an hour when I have gone up to the hostess and asked how much longer it would be. She was very pleasant and honest about the wait, which is something we really appreciated. We ultimately decided to dine with another establishment that day, but appreciated the interaction and honesty of the hostess. Again great place, great food, and fantastic staff. I would absolutely continued patronage with this business as well as recommend them to others!

Food is good, and most of the service is good. Not a great place for families based on our experience today. Today we called ahead for their call ahead seating, the hostess answered said "you have to do that online" and abruptly hung up. OK, fine, did it but in the customer service business this probably could have been handled a little more politely. Our waitress was great however when our food came out she brought along a visibly annoyed coworker who seemed to be taking out his frustrations on everyone around. He gruffly shoved random plates of food onto our table without regard to who ordered what. Which made us think maybe they didn't have the correct order for us. As he rudely continued to drop plates on the table and shove other items out of the way, our waitress said she needed to do a coffee refill. The coffee was for two in the party who were sitting across the table from where they stood. He snatched the coffee pot and began pouring hot coffee over the entire table, including over the head of my 6-month old. Being rude or not caring about your job is one thing, everyone has a bad day. But this was completely unacceptable, to have a steaming hot coffee pot within inches of an infant. The pot was within my son's reach... this is not something should have to be concerned about while out for breakfast. Its common sense, walk to the person who needs coffee poured.

The Southern Fried Chicken was horrible.. It was so crisp and burnt with little to no meat in it. Not worth the 12.00 save your money. I have gone to this Cracker Barrel on several occasions and it has been a disappointment everytime.

Meet friends here for early lunch. The staff was excellent in setting up our tables, we had a big group. They were able to sit all of us together. We had two staff members take our orders. Everyone got their food within three minutes of each other. We were checked on throughout our meal. Everyone in our party was impressed how well the service went for a large group. The meals were delicious, I have been here many times and will continue to visit. Thanks Mark for working with our group.

Awful experience and awful customer service. We ordered the special for the month, southern fried chicken. Our waitress never bothered telling us that they ran out of chicken unitl we had be waiting for food (1 hour 17 minutes). Then, it was another waitress who told us they had to go get more chicken to fry, we then waited an additional 38 minutes for our food to come out. We were never offered the option of changing our order so we could eat dinner in a timely manner nor were we compensated for the 2.5 hour dinner with the majority of the time waiting for our meal. Doubt seriously if I would recommend or bring my family or friends here again. I definitely will not order another special!

Went in for breakfast and got some pecan waffles. They were good as always along with the rest of the food. The service we revived from Gabriel was unacceptable, he tried to give a straw that was open from one side and fell on the floor in from of us. Careless where he was putting his hot pot off coffee, nearly burnt my 11 year old. Not someone I’d like to be served by again.

The breakfast options are good with lots of comfort food. We enjoy the pancakes; if you ask for it they'll give you extra butter and even blueberry syrup! The hashbrown casserole is delicious and like nothing I have ever had before. But I am dissappointed in the fried eggs, though. Bland and the whites are supposed to be cooked when over-medium. Should just stick with scrambled.

For a sit-down, comfort food place in Bismarck, this is a decent choice. When you walk in, they have their iconic store with clothing, candy, trinkets, and knick knacks. They don't seem to have as much selection as some Cracker Barrels I have been to, but also not the smallest. The dining area is spacious, and they have plenty of areas for large groups. The food choices consist of American (southern) style comfort food. The quality of the food is good and will satisfy your craving, but it's not quite up to true southern comfort food. It's a great place to go for families with kids, groups of friends looking for something out of the ordinary for the area, or just to satisfy a craving for chicken fried steak.

My first time here as my fiance raved about their pancakes. For her the breakfast pancakes were good with the crispy edges the way she likes it. I found the menu a bit over the top, so I settled for a simple fare of 2 eggs, sausage and rye toast. Didnt think this was to much, but the sausage patties tasted horrible. I guess it was the smoked sausage, but its favor was overwhelming to the point that I couldnt taste the eggs. I shared some of the pancakes and thought them to be ok. I wasn't liking their pancake syrup either. Overall the service was very good as our waitress was attentive and very friendly I liked the old store attached to it. I guess this is really down to taste, as my fiance really loved it and I thought it was just ok. Hence the 4 stars.

We went to Cracker Barrel for my father's 70th birthday. It was a terrible experience. Our waitress must have been new, there were 8 adults eating, and everyone had a problem with their food. Some people didn't even get the food they we're supposed to. It is understandable with the waitress bring new, that there would be mistakes, but there was so many. And it wasn't just our table, there were plenty of tables around us frustrated and waiting for help and/or food. What exasperated this situation was when we told the manager, just to try and get help for the waitress, the manager acted like he did care at all. There wasn't only an issue with out server, but the food was deplorable! There chicken was burned and black, bacon was so hard and beyond crunchy. The pancakes were crunchy, who like crunchy pancakes?

Well this is NOT my favorite cracker barrel. I had seen an ad at the last cracked barrel I had stopped at 3 days ago for banana pudding which I love, so when we stopped for dinner I ordered light to have pudding...they were out, which was very disappointing. Our host Marco, couldn't keep his hair out of his face or his hands off his phone. Our server Liesel, was friendly and professional she did a good job. She did however fail to clear dirty dishes after we ate, which is a pet peeve of mine. The food was ok. The store was great with their seasonal items and eclectic gifts and goodies. The bathrooms were clean.

One time we flag her down to get something, she was across the restaurant and yelled your food is coming then she shooked her head and walked the other way. Probably never go back, waited an hour for beans and cornbread my guy had a burger. Our waitress was running her legs off, and her helper served cold beans. We had no utensils, went to ask for some utensils was ignored. WItrrss finally brought some, then cornbread after my cold beans were half eaten.. Now the best part a party of old people came in and they got there food before several other table, had utensils and cornbread before my cold beans. There answer was to remove beans from ticket. If I wasn't hungery I would have just got up and left. Yep probably won't be going back

Ate at the Cracker Barrel again tonight for the second time. Service was fast and friendly. Surprising how fast our food arrived at the table. And it was very good! They have great fried chicken, fish and shrimp. The vegetable sides are tasty too. The hashbrown casserole is loaded with cheese, onion and bell peppers Wow! Best of all was the low price for more than we could eat. Great place to stop when you're in the Hayden area.

Food was delicious as always. Problem is it wasn't busy at all. almost 15 minutes for the bread to hit the table. Our meals came out about 35 minutes later and the chicken fried steak without white gravy. We were told it would be just a moment on the gravy. Well a moment was actually another 30 minutes. The kids finished their meal and yet my wife and I sat there waiting and waiting. At this point our meal was no longer hot. After 20 minutes I simply asked if we could have two new steaks once the gravy was ready. The gravy came out 10 minutes later with no new steaks. I feel it was a reasonable request instead we were quite hungry and decided to eat the cold meal. The poor couple across from us had to wait even longer and didn't get bread with their meal and eventually walked out. Let me emphasise the waitress was incredible and very polite. The kitchen on the other hand....

We've noticed something different between this Cracker Barrel location and other locations. The portion sizes at this location are much smaller than at others. You especially see this with their pancakes. It was surprising at first because it wasn't what we have come to expect from Cracker Barrel. The food is still good, but just not typical Cracker Barrel style. With our last visit, we ordered our meal but didn't see our server the entire time, only until she delivered us our bill (someone else brought us our food). I even joked to my wife that we had been placed in the corner and forgotten about. It was inconvenient because I had finished my water early and really could have used a refill. My thirsty had to go unquenched. Still a friendly atmosphere but not the best service.

This was the worst dining experience of my life. We waited over an hour for our food, then 3 items we ordered were gone but we weren't notified until 45 minutes after we ordered.My meal was replaced with the kids meal instead of the adult portion. It was cold! My daughters burger was messed up, my husband didn't even get to eat his meal. The managers lack of help and incompetence was un real. I want to acknowledge our waiter by the name of Miguel. I just left Cracker Barrel around 2:00 p.m on June 20th and I am in aww. It is so hard to find now a days, genuinely nice people. The customer service piece is missing in a lot of establishments. So, when I come across someone like Miguel. I have to sing his/her praise. Miguel came to us with a smile, asked how we are doing. Which is so rare, throughout our time at Cracker Barrel every time he came to us, it was with a smile. Miguel consistently made sure we were ok. As far as our drinks, how's the food and if we needed anything else. Because of Miguel exceptional service, every time I dine at Cracker Barrel, I will be sure to ask for him Thank you Miguel for your outstanding customer service. You're Amazing! ❤

Even late, food was hot and delicious. Service was good. Years ago food at Cracker Barrel was terrible. They redeemed themselves and now food is good again. We went about 10 years without eating at Cracker Barrel. Last 2, we've eaten here about 3 to 4x, and it's been consistently good! Keep it up!

Oh my gosh, the most absolute all around best happy experience ever!!! It was my moms 80th birthday, and this Cracker Barrel took care 20 of us,... seating, drinks, food, fun, positive energy, great hot foid, and they just wowed us all!! Big shout out to Cindee, our Waitress!!! WoW!! She was soooo sincere in wanting everyone to be more than satisfied, she was sooo friendly, efficient, organized, and worked her but off!! I don't know how sge did it; but she was a burst of positive friendly energy too!

AMAZING BREAKFAST FOOD ALL DAY!!! It’s also loud enough for our little one to sleep while we eat. Also the gift shop is great. Themes go along with seasons and we can always find a souvenir to bring home. We found this awesome oversized Unicorn for my girls bedroom. And we also have the summer beach decor paintings and lights in the living room. Also have some awesome Christmas light up snow globes. Keep up the great work!

Drove from Spokane and it was a very disappointing experience. Bad service, bad food. The people next to us got their salad after their meal and had to ask for silverware and I was unimpressed at that point but then the exact same happened to us. The food taste worse than school cafeterias. Just bland and not even hot. I will not recommend this place to anyone ever.

This was my first time time at a cracker barrel and I was very happy to have gone. It was clean, the lighting was good, and the tables weren't too close together. The servers were okay ( didn't check on drinks, didn't offer boxes). The food was amazing, we got the grampa breakfast which comes with grits which isn't common and happens to be one of my favorite foods, the chicken fried steak was delicious and the gravy was very good as well. The eggs were okay for me but the over easy eggs my husband ordered were the same as the over medium eggs I ordered. All in all though it was a pleasant experience and we will be going back

Firstly, my mom loves Cracker Barrel. Whenever we travel to a different state she pulls out the phone to GPS the nearest location. Cracker Barrel food is consistently solid, hearty portions -value priced with better than average service no matter where you go. Part of their allure is the "storefront". My mom cannot resist! The allow dogs in their dinning room and this in no way is exceptable to me. The health risks alone! But this is a company wide policy and because of it I will not eat here anymore. Sad that people bending the rules ruins it for the rest of us but this man was not blind or disabled just a rude man bending the rules and a staff not willing to ask if it's a service animal. I guess bring your dog and have dinner.

Our first time eating there, we heard it was a great place to eat. The restaurant was extremely loud, packed on a Tuesday evening and we were seated in the middle of the room. I will not return to the restaurant but we loved the gift store.

Worst Cracker Barrel experience ever. After being seated no one even acknowledged me. After 10 minutes I called the store and asked for the manager only to be ignored for another 5minutes and watched him walk around and fiddle with menus. After watching 2 other tables get seated and waited on I stood up and loudly asked if anyone was going to wait on me since I had been there for over 15 minutes. When checking out the Cashier asked how my meal was. I told her and let her know my dumplings were cold. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I told her I already tried that and didn't have time to be ignored again.

Sorry to give a poor review because I've always had a fondness for Cracker Barrels. In this case, the rare steak we ordered was well-done, the gravy was barely warm, the over-medium eggs were hard, the cheesy hashbrowns were tough, and the waitress didn't come back to check if we wanted more coffee. On the positive side, the biscuits were good and the grits were awesome... if you like grits.

After a long drive from Columbia MO to Sioux Falls SD, we opted for takeout with an order of chicken salad with fried chicken and an order of rainbow trout. Both orders were promptly with a minimum wait. The chicken salad was plentiful with enough to share. The trout was cooked just right with plenty of tartar sauce and just enough fries to round out the meal. Always impressed with Crackerbarrel’s takeout as the containers are impressive and top quality. The takeout utensils are good quality and there is always plenty of condiments.

I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in probably 10 years. My mother in law loved them. We went for breakfast after driving from Las Vegas. We waited quite a while maybe 25 minutes or so for our food. I should ad that it wasn't packed but maybe 1/2 full. Anyway, not one item in my order was above room temperature. My eggs were cold and the sunny side up was over cooked as well. The grits were cold, the bacon was room temperature. It was probably the worst breakfast I have had this year. When the cashier asked how it was we told him. He said well did you tell the staff? We didn't because honestly how hard is it to serve warm food in a restaurant and what should we have done waited another 25 minutes for a re-do. Somehow bad service is because of the customer, it's not ever the establishment's fault. I shouldn't have to send my food back. It isn't that hard. You are in the breakfast business. MY LAST EVER VISIT TO CRACKER BARREL

We've been here twice. Last time we went the food prep was uneven and there was an order mixup, but they rushed to make things right and offered a free banana pudding. It's an "experience" destination, with the (pricey) country store with insanely broad sweets selections and decor items as part of the restaurant and antique kitsch. The service was friendly, and it was a busy night. The coleslaw was good; the kale salad almost cloyingly sweet. The shrimp weren't well seasoned and were overcooked. Giving 4 stars because I do generally like it here; one bad meal shouldn't overcome all the other times.

Likely wont go back. Almost two hours to get a meal on a Thursday. The large tables seemed to be the priority. At 7:50 PM finally had to ask for anything for my staving 2 year old to eat. Was informed that they had just quit bringing biscuits before the meal. Not pleased. Canned gravy was a disappointment.

Horrible experience, this is a picture of the first plate, I sent it back right away, the second plate, the tenders looked fine on top so I ate 3 bites of potatoes a biscuit and a half of a couple of the tenders and the chicken tasted funny and burnt so I flipped them over and they were burnt I could not believe it I talked to 4 staff members before I just said get me the manager please he was very nice but by that time, I was starving and just wanted the ticket so I could leave. I have been eating there for years but that was the second time since August it was burnt so not sure if they have a new cook or what but it is usually very good.

My wife loved this place and it had been a while since going here so I though it would be fun to bring my family and my wife's parents here. Well it wasn't quite the positive experience I had hoped for. It was busy, so I'll excuse some of the experience to that, however the service was slow, they forgot at least 4 food items from our orders, some even after we reminded them multiple times, my steak was way over cooked and not at all the thick cut rib it was advertised, and overall the food was not the experience we had remembered from before.

Cracker Barrell is a place I remember visiting frequently as a young man. Now, as I return back, the food is just as good. The atmosphere represents the food they serve perfectly and is charmingly rustic. The food they serve is authentic and tastes like it was home made in Georgia. Having lived in Georgia, I would be proud to say that. The food never disappoints (especially the hasbrown casserole) and the service is always fabulous.

This was once one of the better c.b. in the area. The last two visits, not so much. Service was slow. Not sure how long we waited after being seated but it was entirely too long. Not sure if there were new wait staff or short staffed but it all moved slowly. Everyone seemed to be hanging out in the kitchen except for management, they were more interested in pushing the sale of candy bars out front. Floor was filthy. But our server did keep drinks filled which goes a long way with me and she got a good tip.

As you walk into Crackel Barrel, you notice an old country feel. Lots of unique items from clothing to jewelry to country style items and misc gadgets. If you’re there to shop, you may leave happy. Unfortunately, if you are hungry and want a hearty meal, be prepared to wait for 45 minutes to even get some biscuits (this is after practically begging for them) And another 45 minutes to actually get your meal! And we ordered the daily special!!! We walked in at 8:01 and here we are 9:33pm and only now getting our meal! Really? We were about to walk out. No explanation, no apology just a huge inconvenience!!! I do feel sorry for our waitresses Tiffany and Lakaiah. Although, If I could offer them a piece of advice... if you know that your customers will have to wait so long, try to accommodate them with extra rolls or other compensations. We had the Easter catered meal from here. WOW!! What a lot of food. There was enough food for ten people, there were only five of us so we have lots of leftovers. This was the worst representation of Cracker Barrell food we have ever experienced. 2 of 3 people ordered biscuits and gravy one with bacon and one with ham. They were delivered to our table with plain biscuits and the meet. No gravy, when server was asked about gravy he said he could get us some. Shouldn't biscuits and gravy come with gravy? Neither the server or who we thought to be the manager were too concerned the orders were incorrect. The wait time was also too long as it was not busy. Other customers in other areas were served much faster. The server did remove the price of one incorrect meal but not the other. Bad experience all around. We arrived at 1.30 and only had a 5 min wait before the young hostess seated us. She called us, 2 senior women, "you guys" 4 times between the stand and the table...not very professional. The food was good and arrived in a timely manner. But we had to ask for everything, napkins, butter, more coffee, water...they were not busy as the lunch rush was winding down. At the register, there were 4 employees hanging around chit chatting with the cashier. I know the kids are young and this is probably their first job, but CB should train them better about behavior on the job. We'll be back because my elderly mother loves the food.

I went with just me and my dad and we felt we needed to wait a while for our waitress to serve us. A family sat behind us and came in after us but the waitress served them their biscuits and cornbread and food first! She was nice and all but she seemed to have trouble focusing. This Cracker Barrel has the same atmosphere as all of the Cracker Barrels I have eaten at. They have the same county store with candy & other knick knacks. Those with little ones watch out because the store is not kid proof. Our party of 3 was promptly seated. Our server brought us drinks and took our orders. My wife's and our friend's meals were properly cooked and seasoned. My turkey dinner, on the other hand, had meat that was a little dry. The rest of the dinner, green beans & cornmeal stuffing & fruit salad, was quite tasty. Our server kept our glasses always full. We had an enjoyable meal.

Cracker Barrel was a great experience, until the end. I will start with the positive of my visit then to the end where it went down hill. Felicia was our waitress and she was awesome! She helped us out when it came to our order. Our kids, who of course wanted something specific, asked for bacon, egg, and pancakes. Well Felicia gave us the best option that would work for us. Then it was our turn and she was just great! When the food came out, everything was delicious! Here is where it went down hill. While waiting on line to pay, a lady cut in front of us. To top it off the girl at the register didn't even say anything. I think the fact that the girl said nothing really got to us. I've been in her shoes, but I usually would say something. Then it got worse when the lady had issues with her purchase.

My wife and I visited this Cracker Barrel over the weekend. The restaurant was especially crowded and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The staff did a good job clearing tables and seating people quickly. I give them full marks for efficiency when their restaurant was so busy. The waitress was attentive and she met all of our needs. I was especially impressed that she gave such personal attention and care even though it was a busy weekend. I rate the staff and restaurant 5 stars! The only negative thing, and this is more of a company issue, is that Cracker Barrel needs to step up their coffee game. It is too weak and tasteless for the price. I promise big breakfast folks like myself say, “Yay,” or, “Nay,” off of the coffee. Your food can be amazing, but if the coffee is weak we may never visit again. Please fix this Cracker Barrel.

I do not know what all the fuss is about Cracker Barrel. My friend wanted to go for brunch after church, we tried three times but the wait was too long. We gave it another try, got seated-regretfully. Very few breakfast choices(no omelettes), the only hash browns are a casserole concoction that my tastebuds could only handle two bites of, and everything comes with grits. Now my family is from the south but I could never get used to the taste and feel of grits in my mouth, and their biscuits were just blah...Mcdonalds does it better.The only thing I enjoyed about my dining experience were all of the nostalgic signs on the walls and my friend's company. The only reason I will return is for their quaint little gift shop filled with fun clothing and whimsical gifts at fair prices. I bought an adorable hat for $20.

Cracker barrel is a favorite restaurant of my family and mine. Today me and my wife went there for lunch and I tried the new Apple glazed baked chicken and it was simply amazing! As you can see from the picture it had a beautiful baked crispy glazed crust on it that tasted distinctly of apples but was not too sweet. I also got the mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans and everything was cooked perfectly. If you want some good homestyle cooking, you can't go wrong with the reasonably priced meals at cracker barrel!

We sat for 17 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. I went to the hosts station to let them now. A male server (Eli) came from another section and took our drink orders. A female server (Liz) came over to take our order and while she was taking care of us, another female server (Lynette) came over and said “she’s going to be taking care of you. This is my section but they just overwhelmed me.” I get the things happen but people who were seated after us had their drink and food orders taken before ours. Their food also came out before ours. Liz and Eli were very apologetic and Liz bumped our order to the front of the line. Lynette: next time, tell us you’re overwhelmed then tell someone you work with so they can take your table. Liz and Eli, thank you. Corporate Cracker Barrel, this is the 2nd time in a row that we’ve had an issue eating at the restaurant (at another location).

I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys mediocre food. My first visit to this cracker barrel, I got the country fried steak and the okra. Those 2 items were decent. My other 2 sides were just awful. The waitress was efficient but actually really rude. My second visit, we again had the same waitress who was very efficient, but also quite rude, as many other reviews point out. I ordered the "grilled" pork chop, which was the saddest looking pork chop I have ever seen. It was pale with no sear at all. DEFINITELY not grilled. It was so dry and chewy it honestly seemed like it was microwaved. Our table was in agreement that almost every single food item that was served at our table was bland and just kinda gross, with the exception of a side, the fried okra.

But if you want some good ole' fashioned comfort food... slam on the brakes! We don't have many Cracker Barrel restaurants in CA and so when I'm traveling and see one we try to grab breakfast there because their "Wild Maine Blueberry Pancakes" are amazing. AMBIANCE (Rating 4) The Cracker Barrel is the same at every location, "Country Store & Large Diner" They do a great job however on this point and you can count on the look and feel right down to the rocking chairs on the porch outside. SERVICE (Rating 3.75) The service varys from store to store but overall they do a pretty good job and from time to time you'll get a server that's amazingly friendly and fun. BLUEBERRY PANCAKES (Rating 5) I love these! The pancakes are probably drowned in butter while grilling them as they are always crispy, not too thick and have an amazing buttery flavor I love. They're cooked with "Wild Maine Blue Berry's" (advertised on the menu) and served with your very own jar of Dickinson's blue berry syrup. YUM!

Good home cooked meals, just need to do some house cleaning.... all the antiques hanging in the dining area, dusty and some have food splattered on them. Won't keep me from going back At this point but time to step up and pay attention to the details.

The restaurant in Springville Utah was absolutely horrible. After sitting for 20 minutes before our waiter helped us we were served cold food. We let our waiter know and he took it and brought us “new” food. Again cold. We asked for the bill and the waiter said he would get the manager. The manager was extremely rude and didn’t come our bill. The waiter paid for our bill because he felt bad about how the manager treated us. Will not be returning back.

I came in to place a to go order. The front desk girl asked for a server to come up, and it took easily 10 or 15 minutes for one to come to the front. I ordered a French toast to go and after 20 minutes of waiting asked where my order was, and they said that it was “still being cooked”. So after almost 40 minutes and listening to the guy next to me telling them he’d placed an order online way before me and was still waiting, I decided to just leave. I used to be a pretty big fan of cracker barrel and my wife wanted this specifically for her birthday dinner. It seems I won’t be having that anymore

It took us almost 45 minutes to be served lunch today. For having ordered the daily special, that wait time is ridiculous. After taking about 15 minutes to take our order, the server apologized for the slowness and said he was going to fix that and take care of us. Then it took almost half an hour to get our food. What was going to be a leisurely lunch turned out to be "stuff our faces" as quickly as we could and get going so we could get to our appointment.

Between running out of chicken and butter, having a host that gave 4 breakfast menus instead of dinner menus, the waiter being replaced halfway thru the meal by a waitress clearly having too many tables and a few other minor irks, the place seems to be having issues right now. Used to be one of the better restaurants in town. Recommend waiting a few weeks/months before heading back and hopefully whatever issues they are having will be resolved by then.

Ordered food through DoorDash. Total was about 60. Got contacted through Doordash that they were out of mashed potatoes.. how is that even a thing? that was 3 options for sides on different meals. The gravy tasted just like water and flour, no flavor at all. I was looking forward to being impressed, and am sad to say I am not. Our music group come in for late snack after playing music at our Friday evening Open Mic at Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d'Alene. There were 15 in our group. Our waiter did a fine job. We took advantage of the Friday night specials. I had the fish, several had the chicken. Good variety of foods. One note the corn bread was a little dry.

Went to eat today with the family and was thoroughly disappointed. Checked in and were told that it would be a 30 minute wait which turned into an hour. Not pleased watching people who showed up after our group get to be seated before us. Once in, the service recieved was very slow and inconsistent with the other guests. Another family was sat behind us with the same amount of people 15 minutes after we had been seated and ordered and they got their food and drinks before we did. One the food had arrived the plates seem to have been somewhat thrown together and the silverware was dirty. Definitely will not be coming back here anytime soon. Its been 60 days since the last visit and I cannot believe that he service level dropped from a 5 to a 1.

Talk about an amazing place to eat. I had never been there. But my grandma said it's just the best. I was a little worried because the name sounds like a creepy meth house. They have chicken and dumplings, grilled or fried trout as well as catfish, meatloaf, roast beef just to mention a few. They also serve breakfast all day. There is a gift shop in the front which is always interesting to see what items they have to offer.

My first visit, so I of course asked the Hostess, and server what they like and would recommend. I was really impressed with both of them, they knew the menu and go to the point. I didn't feel rushed, or pressured, more like a real guest. I tried the the boneless fried chicken breast plate with mashed potatoes and macaroni. I know, double carbs, but anyone can do broccoli, I wanted to see what they did with these two very important staples. I was impressed the chicken was moist, cooked properly, and the breading was just right, not too thick or over peppered. The Macaroni actually tasted like cheese and not a butter sauce, and the mashed had real chunks of potatoes! Again everything was seasoned very well. Fresh buttermilk biscuits were soft and warm, I also tried the cornbread it was also fresh and warm but I feel could be a little more sweet or served with honey and jam. Next I had the hash browns, very good, maybe a little to cheesy for me. But the Fried apples were like a warm childhood memory in a side dish. Finally I had the new maple pecan bread pudding... are you kidding me with this? Served warm, topped with the perfect size chopped pecans, and coated perfectly in caramel sauce and topped with a lovely scoop of Vanilla BEAN ice cream. OH MY!! FYI** I took half of this home to the kids.. :)

Usually a pretty good place to eat, but I went there tonight and service was horrible!! I had a to-go order, so I arrived about 5 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready for pickup, and they didn't even start making my food until 15 minutes after I got there. I asked not to be seated there as there was many more places to sit. My wife n I are an interracial couple. I watched as other caucasion customers came in after us. They were treated much more warmly n courteous we felt. And none of them were asked to sit in the corner either. Cracker Barrel shamed you should be.

Having recently moved from the South, I was looking for something that reminded me of it. Cracker Barrel has the benefit of being present in most of the country and to provide southern style dishes at a decent level. This store is decorated with local artifacts and the staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are hard to beat and the food is served in generous portions. Even though not 100% southern, this is a good way to either have a taste of what southern food taste like or at least help you with nostalgia.

After about 30 minutes they bring it 3 of our 7 meals another 40 minutes later we ask where the rest of our meals are. Finally we got "all" of our meals but each of us were missing something (grits, eggs, hash browns missing) we all for the manager explain what had taken place this far only to receive crunchy grits cold eggs and never receive our hash browns. At this point I'm furious most of us didn't eat or good as it was inedible. Absolutely the worst experience ever.

When I get my food the meatloaf didn't taste good at all.. All I ate was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I did eat a little bit of the meatloaf, but it gave me diarrhea!

I love the breakfast that is served here 24 hours a day. I particularly enjoy the Country Boy breakfast with a cup of coffee. Always friendly service and good parking. Has a waiting area that has a store that includes candy and soft drinks that are hard to find.

Food was delicious. Cashier was very helpful and even an employee that was off work helped me get a toddler outfit to purchase. Overall employees were excellent with customer service. Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite places to dine and shop at!!!
