Here you will be able to see all the information of real people like you who are purchasing the services of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (Fish Shop) in the area close to Texas.
As of day the business has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 and the score has been calculated on 2642 reviews.
As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is really good, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to give their review when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to place scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fish Shop is included in the category of American restaurant.
Had a wonderful first visit (my family had already been here). I enjoyed the food and the portion size was great! I actually had enough left over for dinner that evening. The young lady who greeted us when we came into the store was really nice and very helpful as well
Best coffee, and I never have a bad breakfast here.
I always liked Cracker Barrel old country store and restaurants, it gives cozy southern feeling with well priced, great tasting food.
I purchase regular food here to hide the fact that I only come for the biscuits. Don't get me wrong, everything else is also good but their biscuits are a super food.
So we eat at Cracker Barrels all over the country, this one had biscuits that were absolutely on point & their gravy was also just as tasty. If you're a connoisseur of CB, you know that at times, the biscuits can lack fluffiness & gravy can be a little heavy on the lard flavor. Both were cooked to perfection. Grits on the other hand needed to cook longer. Overall, can't go wrong with reliable Cb
Go for the family but don’t forget to get a rocking chair to drive the people crazy one floor below you
I love going to the Cracker Barrel store because it’s fun to see all the unique items they carry. There pancakes are delicious. Anything besides breakfast there is very average. With that being said, I was not pleased with the sticky dirty tables, sticky menus and unfriendly, unprofessional servers.
Great food at great prices. The staff is real friendly and they keep the place clean. Will definitely be returning. A+
I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff is really kind and super friendly
Theodore was very pleasing and attentive. We ordered a maple jam burger but our burger was missing the bacon and the maple jam (not his fault, we checked the ticket) Theodore was prompt to fix the mistake and was very polite and charming.
Not bad place to go for a casual bite. We had a party of seven and the hostess seated us at a table that was for six people so one of our party had to sit in the aisle seat. Other than that was a okay experience.
I went yesterday to have dinner with my boyfriend and my goodness was the service the worst. Not only did it take our waitress 5 minutes to acknowledge us, when she did she told us she’d be right with us. After a minute or so she came and got our drinks down and asked her I was ready to order right there and then because I knew it was going to be another long while for her to come take our order. I asked her for my drink in a to go cup she brought out my drink in the regular cups they use and brought me a to go cup on the side. I then told her I wanted my hamburger steak with brown gravy and she just brought me the gravy on the side. She never once checked up on us until her helper brought our food out and I asked her if she could give us a refill she then comes to our table and she gives my boyfriend a refill and never once brought mine. After she brought the refill she placed our tab on the table and never saw her again. I called to speak to the manager and all he could say was that she did company policy by leaving the ticket there and that he apologized for anything else. I felt like I was being kicked out mind you I never got a refill I ate my ice to avoid choking on my meal. The tables were dirty and it was just a mess in there. I usually go to the one on 410 and never have they ever placed my tab on the table after taking my meal out also they ask if I would be interested in any type of dessert very disappointing.
Cracker Barrel has hands down the best breakfast. Always a great experience at every restaurant I've ever visited.
Great food great service for what it is!
Great food ok service
It was good can't wait to go back
Good service. Food up to Cracker Barrell standards. 4* due to forgetting to bring side dish and bread requested.
THE steak is like 50 grit sand paper. Its guaranteed to stand on end. You will need a chain saw to cut it. However it tastes pretty good. Also this is one of the most fun placed I have ever found to eat! I always stop at Cracker Barrel. I always love the people working their !
Nice, laid back atmosphere and good food.
Cracker Barrel is interesting because all the food is super rich and you can order breakfast and lunch whenever. I would suggest the fried chicken or the chicken fried chicken.... sk for a fried egg on top, they'll do and you'll love it! It's very good, and very rich. Then when you're done, swing by the store and look at all the country store nick nacks.
Great food and service at a great price.
Had a big old comfort food breakfast that will stick to my ribs....and elsewhere...lol. The food is always fresh and plentiful. Great for families but not at all conducive of quiet couple conversations. I always have to let the hubby browse the store before we leave so that he can fully equip his inner child with candies from days gone by.
Great lunch specials. Was a bit crowded.
Party of 10. Took over an hour to get our food, no drink refills. When the food did come out it was cold for half of the ppl. Overall not the experience I expect at CB.
This was my first time eating from Cracker Barrel or any Virginia-style food, and let’s just say I was extremely disappointed. I came here straight from Dulles Airport to get some breakfast, and started with a 30 minute wait. While waiting, I looked at the menu which seemed to me as the portions were going to be enormous and very appetizing (maybe I was really hungry). I ordered scrambled eggs with hash browns and turkey patties. When the food came the service took no longer than 10 minutes), I got a beige plate with very little, squared eggs, two turkey patties the size of a dog’s paw, and a cube of hash browns with grease all over. I ate as much as I could without getting sick, but still got an upset stomach. I’m from California, and I don’t know if it was just this place or not, but the food was terrible. I’m never going to go there again.
Good food good prices good for people with dietary restrictions
I ended up waiting for over an hour with no explanation for some takeout food. Just imagine watching three other customers who came in after you get served One customer walks out because she hadn't paid yet and then there was me. Saaaad
We had the chicken. The chicken looked old and the bone of the chicken was breaking before I even start eating.
Hands down, the best service I've had 'anywhere' in a very long time. My waitress this evening was Kayla and she had a very large party in addition to myself and other tables yet she kept everything running smoothly. Her attention to detail is impressive and I say this because no matter where I go when I order something a particular way it's almost always either not what I order or it's missing something yet not the case with Kayla. As a former waitress at a couple of very nice establishments when I was much younger, I'm really kind of critical but Kayla was 'spot on'. Also, for dinner I had breakfast and everything was hot and delicious so kudos for that, too. Thank you Kayla for a very enjoyable meal and sublime service.
New bone-in 4 pc fried chicken, dumplings, turnip greens all good. Waitress shared her recipe for mixing honey and Chohula hot sauce - wow. Another great experience at this location.
Enjoyed lunch with my client. Had to wait awhile but was worth to wait. We had the Saturday Special, she used her gift card she recieved from her birthday earlier in the week to pay for her meal. Our waitress was amazing. Made sure our drinks were always full and even brought us a little birthday treat...my client turned 91 years young
I always have a good experience at this location. The staff are always friendly and the wait for a table is generally short. The food is always really good! I can definitely recommend the Mama's french toast and the Wild Maine Blueberry pancakes. From the lunch menu, the Apple Cider BBQ chicken breast is really good! All in all, always a good choice and the price is really fair!
Good food and service, but the place was extremly noisy, you couldn't hear the person across from you.
Good food and great service. Our waiter went above and beyond!
I have to have my fix for old south style cooking. The turnip greens r just wonderful
Cracker Barrel... If you want comfort food, especially on these cold winter days, this is your only stop. You get large portions, great prices, and will go home satisfied and happy. Great service too. This location does a great job. A+
Come here everyother saturday with my family great breakfast and awesome antique store.
Tried to eat at the Sterling location on Sunday. Assume the food is good because they were crazy busy, but the girl working at the door took my name and number in my party (only 2 of us), then neglected to add my name to the waitlist!! We waited for 30 minutes before my husband finally asked the hostess how much longer our wait would be, and he was told we were not on the list. Unbelievable. RUINED a birthday celebration.
I love this restaurant! Always have. We recently had a company event we were attending and came to this restaurant. We had been waiting for half an hour when I have gone up to the hostess and asked how much longer it would be. She was very pleasant and honest about the wait, which is something we really appreciated. We ultimately decided to dine with another establishment that day, but appreciated the interaction and honesty of the hostess. Again great place, great food, and fantastic staff. I would absolutely continued patronage with this business as well as recommend them to others!
Food was good. I did order my steak medium well. It came out medium. Which is ok. I do both. But other than that, the food was good. But the waitress wasn't that good. I waited 15 minutes before she finally came to take my order. I still left a tip. But I shouldn't have.
Food is good, and most of the service is good. Not a great place for families based on our experience today. Today we called ahead for their call ahead seating, the hostess answered said "you have to do that online" and abruptly hung up. OK, fine, did it but in the customer service business this probably could have been handled a little more politely. Our waitress was great however when our food came out she brought along a visibly annoyed coworker who seemed to be taking out his frustrations on everyone around. He gruffly shoved random plates of food onto our table without regard to who ordered what. Which made us think maybe they didn't have the correct order for us. As he rudely continued to drop plates on the table and shove other items out of the way, our waitress said she needed to do a coffee refill. The coffee was for two in the party who were sitting across the table from where they stood. He snatched the coffee pot and began pouring hot coffee over the entire table, including over the head of my 6-month old. Being rude or not caring about your job is one thing, everyone has a bad day. But this was completely unacceptable, to have a steaming hot coffee pot within inches of an infant. The pot was within my son's reach... this is not something should have to be concerned about while out for breakfast. Its common sense, walk to the person who needs coffee poured.
The Southern Fried Chicken was horrible.. It was so crisp and burnt with little to no meat in it. Not worth the 12.00 save your money. I have gone to this Cracker Barrel on several occasions and it has been a disappointment everytime.
It's difficult to locate. It has a tiny sign.
Vegetables we're all overcooked. Had to ask another employee to get a refill on drinks.
Very good place to eat. Food was delicious and the service was good.
Really good food and the store is fun to look through
Service and food are great, restrooms needs more attention.
Awesome customer service & great food nice and served fresh & hot.
Great atmosphere and great food. Love going there for a nice yummy dinner with the family
Always a great time. Great atmosphere and amazing food.
I originally had given 3 stars due to the service but that has improved. Young man named Darian waited on us and was exceptional. I was impressed with his friendliness, attention to detail and promptness. Keep up the good work!
Biscuits, Hamburger steak and hash brown casserole was delicious! Excellent customer service!
Fast service, good food as usual.
The foos is great and so is the service
Placed online order at 12:15 arrived at 1pm food still wasn't ready then to top it off order was wrong. Never again
It was great food...but a longggg wait...on a Sunday morning.
Very good foods and very kind people.
A nice country restaurant with a matching atmosphere. Not a good place if you are in a hurry. Best to go with relaxed dinning in mind.
Meet friends here for early lunch. The staff was excellent in setting up our tables, we had a big group. They were able to sit all of us together. We had two staff members take our orders. Everyone got their food within three minutes of each other. We were checked on throughout our meal. Everyone in our party was impressed how well the service went for a large group. The meals were delicious, I have been here many times and will continue to visit. Thanks Mark for working with our group.
Chicken is very good you can share a plate
Fantastic food, great quality. Fast friendly service
Delicious Southern friend chicken with honey was delicious!
Great breakfast. Fair price
Awful experience and awful customer service. We ordered the special for the month, southern fried chicken. Our waitress never bothered telling us that they ran out of chicken unitl we had be waiting for food (1 hour 17 minutes). Then, it was another waitress who told us they had to go get more chicken to fry, we then waited an additional 38 minutes for our food to come out. We were never offered the option of changing our order so we could eat dinner in a timely manner nor were we compensated for the 2.5 hour dinner with the majority of the time waiting for our meal. Doubt seriously if I would recommend or bring my family or friends here again. I definitely will not order another special!
I love the food..its very fresh and tasty
Went in for breakfast and got some pecan waffles. They were good as always along with the rest of the food. The service we revived from Gabriel was unacceptable, he tried to give a straw that was open from one side and fell on the floor in from of us. Careless where he was putting his hot pot off coffee, nearly burnt my 11 year old. Not someone I’d like to be served by again.
The new fried chicken is awesome
The breakfast options are good with lots of comfort food. We enjoy the pancakes; if you ask for it they'll give you extra butter and even blueberry syrup! The hashbrown casserole is delicious and like nothing I have ever had before. But I am dissappointed in the fried eggs, though. Bland and the whites are supposed to be cooked when over-medium. Should just stick with scrambled.
The food looked like it was frozen. I had the chicken fried chicken. The waiter was great, though.
Good southern style breakfast and lunch choices. Corn bread muffins and biscuits always excellent. You'll always find something at their country store before or after your meal.
food great as always, our waiter sucked, wish we had the waiter next to us, ours forgot about us, no jelly or butter, no refills of our drinks until we finally got our check and we waited almost 30 minutes for our check after we finished eating, looked like we were his only table, the waiter next to us had several and he actually filled our drinks while taking care of 3 other tables during that slow time around 2pm
Great comf6food. Try the trout. It is really great!
Is nice clean, the employees are always ready to help you no matter if you are in the store or in the restaurant! That really makes you fill home
Always It's a perfect place to enjoy an excellent breakfast.
This place is consistently good! I normally get the grilled pork chop w/mashed potatoes & green beans. My mom got the Monday special--baked chicken & dressing. Everything was De-lish! Staff & service was great as well. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because my food was a bit cold. Normally I would've said something but I was too hungry!
The food was excellent and the service was even better.
Feels understaffed or unorganized, kitchen forgot to make my order had to take it to go since the family ate already before I even got the food. Have to keep reminding the waiters for everything.
This restaurant chain is outstanding. See my detailed review of the Cracker Barrel in Waldorf, VA.
Pretty much always a good experience. Order wasn't what expected but they made it right. Close by our house and a good choice when we don't feel like cooking.
Not that great. I was by a table less then foot away from another table to close felt way uncomfortable. Then my elbow was bum by the traffic flow people walking by.
Great food but slow Service.
Good food but the service was a little off the last time we went. We had to get up and ask for refills, a missing side order and napkins. I guess our server was in training but overall CB is a great place for family outings.
Only ate here once. Food and staff were unremarkable. The Jim's next door served a better breakfast at a lower price. Staff was friendlier.
Food decent at decent price. Not crowded at 10:30 on a thursday
Always delicious country home style food, outstanding customer service, historical ambiance, and variety of themes in the general store. Plus they make the best raspberry tea and grilled spicy catfish I’ve ever tasted!!!
Love there Southerned Style Fried Chicken
For a sit-down, comfort food place in Bismarck, this is a decent choice. When you walk in, they have their iconic store with clothing, candy, trinkets, and knick knacks. They don't seem to have as much selection as some Cracker Barrels I have been to, but also not the smallest. The dining area is spacious, and they have plenty of areas for large groups. The food choices consist of American (southern) style comfort food. The quality of the food is good and will satisfy your craving, but it's not quite up to true southern comfort food. It's a great place to go for families with kids, groups of friends looking for something out of the ordinary for the area, or just to satisfy a craving for chicken fried steak.
Eggs, grits, hash brown casserole, turkey patties, toasts, coffee and water. It was good
I come here anytime I come to sioux falls with intentions of going out to eat! Absolutely love their food! Lol
So I thought this was going to be a place that sold cracker barrel snacks and have a restaurant No that is not the case. They do have restaurant but their gift shop doesnt have any cracker barrel snacks. I was hoping to buy cheese there... So if your like me and think gift shop = cracker barrel snacks your wrong. Lots of clothes and lotion. Very strange to me.
Food was delicious and made fast, workers are awesome, and atmosphere is so welcoming!
The food was delicious when we finally got it. There was a shortage of waitresses or something going on. But our waitress was wonderful and did her best to compensate us. Wish I could remember her name.
its cracker barrel!!! love it. consistent... reasonable in price, generous in portions... awesome fun store!
Good food. Great prices. Everything serms to be "homemade".
Very good food and great service, would definitely go back.
Good homestyle cooking with the best biscuits ever!
My first time here as my fiance raved about their pancakes. For her the breakfast pancakes were good with the crispy edges the way she likes it. I found the menu a bit over the top, so I settled for a simple fare of 2 eggs, sausage and rye toast. Didnt think this was to much, but the sausage patties tasted horrible. I guess it was the smoked sausage, but its favor was overwhelming to the point that I couldnt taste the eggs. I shared some of the pancakes and thought them to be ok. I wasn't liking their pancake syrup either. Overall the service was very good as our waitress was attentive and very friendly I liked the old store attached to it. I guess this is really down to taste, as my fiance really loved it and I thought it was just ok. Hence the 4 stars.
Solid stop for southern favorites. Expect a 10 minute wait minimum, but service is fast and food is delish!
Awsome food and you get what you pay for and walk away full!!
Love this place. The food is always good.
Carol C. was our waitress and she gave us exceptional service. She was generous and checked on us several times with drink refills. She made sure we were satisfied throughout our meals. Our orders came very quick and food was all delicious- we had three different dinners- chicken tenderloins, chicken fried steak and roast beef. I had the roast beef and it was very tender.
Really good food! Nice homey feeling. Easy place to bring the kids to eat.
The food was amazing. It's not expensive. Plus the waitress I had was awesome!!! She made my experience there the best.....
I asked for a to go cup. I saw the cup fall off the tray and roll on the floor. And the server actually proceeded to give it to me. The juice was warm and the eggs tasted funny
We went to Cracker Barrel for my father's 70th birthday. It was a terrible experience. Our waitress must have been new, there were 8 adults eating, and everyone had a problem with their food. Some people didn't even get the food they we're supposed to. It is understandable with the waitress bring new, that there would be mistakes, but there was so many. And it wasn't just our table, there were plenty of tables around us frustrated and waiting for help and/or food. What exasperated this situation was when we told the manager, just to try and get help for the waitress, the manager acted like he did care at all. There wasn't only an issue with out server, but the food was deplorable! There chicken was burned and black, bacon was so hard and beyond crunchy. The pancakes were crunchy, who like crunchy pancakes?
Always a fun place to go whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, food has always been good tasting and sits well afterwards. Good service in general and fun old fashion items to shop for in the store section. Love their new Italian type soda drink (blackberry and orange)!
Troubling. They did not have pinto beans or turnip greens. My favorite and this has happened more than once. Please rectify.
Well this is NOT my favorite cracker barrel. I had seen an ad at the last cracked barrel I had stopped at 3 days ago for banana pudding which I love, so when we stopped for dinner I ordered light to have pudding...they were out, which was very disappointing. Our host Marco, couldn't keep his hair out of his face or his hands off his phone. Our server Liesel, was friendly and professional she did a good job. She did however fail to clear dirty dishes after we ate, which is a pet peeve of mine. The food was ok. The store was great with their seasonal items and eclectic gifts and goodies. The bathrooms were clean.
Service was poor. Waitress hated her job and the company, she told us so. She had a bad attitude the whole time. One time we flag her down to get something, she was across the restaurant and yelled your food is coming then she shooked her head and walked the other way. She brought our food after a hour, then said. You want anything else, because I won't be able to come back. The food was good, but the way we were treated we won't be back.
Long wait, new server, smaller portions than usual, overcooked food. Not the Cracker Barrel experience I've come to trust over the years.
Always a good choice. Friendly, fast, and good food.
The server was awesome. He was a younger guy (I will call him more a kid) and he was an excellent server. From taking my drink order, then food order, knowing when to check on me and without hovering. Made for an enjoyable meal!
Probably never go back, waited an hour for beans and cornbread my guy had a burger. Our waitress was running her legs off, and her helper served cold beans. We had no utensils, went to ask for some utensils was ignored. WItrrss finally brought some, then cornbread after my cold beans were half eaten.. Now the best part a party of old people came in and they got there food before several other table, had utensils and cornbread before my cold beans. There answer was to remove beans from ticket. If I wasn't hungery I would have just got up and left. Yep probably won't be going back
The Staff was great, food came out quick, would highly recommend for calm meals and awesome food. 10/10 and Jay was very great when we came!
Great choices, just like homemade but better because you don't have to do dishes, unless you forget you wallet.
Went here while on vacation for breakfast and I enjoyed it quite a bit nice people good food and they have a little gift shop thats got some good pop
Good food and good service. Nothing else to it.
Good food and great waiter.
Pretty generic American food. Great prices though. Nice atmosphere.
I had the chicken fried steak which tasted like it was cooked in old cooking oil. Several of my parties ordered pancakes but did not get syrup until the third request.not a good visit at this location.
AWESOME food, AWESOME service
Ate at the Cracker Barrel again tonight for the second time. Service was fast and friendly. Surprising how fast our food arrived at the table. And it was very good! They have great fried chicken, fish and shrimp. The vegetable sides are tasty too. The hashbrown casserole is loaded with cheese, onion and bell peppers Wow! Best of all was the low price for more than we could eat. Great place to stop when you're in the Hayden area.
My family and I loved the breakfast and the store area where you walk in. We had a great experience.
Food was great. Portions were well sized. Kids meals are decently priced, although some kids meals dont come with a side so that made the meal a little expensive. Decor gives kids a lot to look at. Service was great and food didnt take long at all even though the restaurant was fairly busy. Will definitely eat there again!
A taste of the country. The atmosphere was ok.
Food was delicious as always. Problem is it wasn't busy at all. almost 15 minutes for the bread to hit the table. Our meals came out about 35 minutes later and the chicken fried steak without white gravy. We were told it would be just a moment on the gravy. Well a moment was actually another 30 minutes. The kids finished their meal and yet my wife and I sat there waiting and waiting. At this point our meal was no longer hot. After 20 minutes I simply asked if we could have two new steaks once the gravy was ready. The gravy came out 10 minutes later with no new steaks. I feel it was a reasonable request instead we were quite hungry and decided to eat the cold meal. The poor couple across from us had to wait even longer and didn't get bread with their meal and eventually walked out. Let me emphasise the waitress was incredible and very polite. The kitchen on the other hand....
The meat loaf was superb and Josh our server was amazing..10's for the food & 10 for customer service!
Good southern style cooking. Warm friendly atmosphere with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The store area is open and well laid out.
We've noticed something different between this Cracker Barrel location and other locations. The portion sizes at this location are much smaller than at others. You especially see this with their pancakes. It was surprising at first because it wasn't what we have come to expect from Cracker Barrel. The food is still good, but just not typical Cracker Barrel style. With our last visit, we ordered our meal but didn't see our server the entire time, only until she delivered us our bill (someone else brought us our food). I even joked to my wife that we had been placed in the corner and forgotten about. It was inconvenient because I had finished my water early and really could have used a refill. My thirsty had to go unquenched. Still a friendly atmosphere but not the best service.
The chicken dinner was awesome for the price. They give you a lot you can't eat it all...
This was the worst dining experience of my life. We waited over an hour for our food, then 3 items we ordered were gone but we weren't notified until 45 minutes after we ordered. My meal was replaced with the kids meal instead of the adult portion. It was cold! My daughters burger was messed up, my husband didn't even get to eat his meal. The managers lack of help and incompetence was un real. Highly disappointed for our first (and only) visit to a cracker barrel.
Service is exceptional. If the bacon and eggs were cooked correctly this would be 5 stars. Over medium is whites done. Parts of the bacon are undercooked and not eatable.
Cracker Barrel: too many items on menu, time consuming & confusing for travellers, waitress, Nikki B. very attentive, daily specials $$$, coffee o.k., got food quickly, gravy had no flavor, good meatloaf, bacon crispy(good) & cornbread muffins outstanding. Nothing spectacular !!!
Great service, great food, great value
Always a consistent meal
I felt the food was not very good .not as good tasting as the name is famous. And its averlimited menu i will not return there
Food is heavier than what I usually eat but it's good, service was great too.
I want to acknowledge our waiter by the name of Miguel. I just left Cracker Barrel around 2:00 p.m on June 20th and I am in aww. It is so hard to find now a days, genuinely nice people. The customer service piece is missing in a lot of establishments. So, when I come across someone like Miguel. I have to sing his/her praise. Miguel came to us with a smile, asked how we are doing. Which is so rare, throughout our time at Cracker Barrel every time he came to us, it was with a smile. Miguel consistently made sure we were ok. As far as our drinks, how's the food and if we needed anything else. Because of Miguel exceptional service, every time I dine at Cracker Barrel, I will be sure to ask for him Thank you Miguel for your outstanding customer service. You're Amazing! ❤
Great peaches @nd foods I enjoyed the indoors hive.
Excellent food, good portions, good atmosphere, prices not bad
Great food and great service. Had an issue with an e-gift card I presented and they gave me the credit on the bill anyway. Thanks so much. We will be back
Even late, food was hot and delicious. Service was good. Years ago food at Cracker Barrel was terrible. They redeemed themselves and now food is good again. We went about 10 years without eating at Cracker Barrel. Last 2, we've eaten here about 3 to 4x, and it's been consistently good! Keep it up!
Oh my gosh, the most absolute all around best happy experience ever!!! It was my moms 80th birthday, and this Cracker Barrel took care 20 of us,... seating, drinks, food, fun, positive energy, great hot foid, and they just wowed us all!! Big shout out to Cindee, our Waitress!!! WoW!! She was soooo sincere in wanting everyone to be more than satisfied, she was sooo friendly, efficient, organized, and worked her but off!! I don't know how sge did it; but she was a burst of positive friendly energy too!
You just cannot go wrong with a Cracker Barrel!
First time at a Cracker Barrel, excellent food and service! Fun store!!
Too crowded. Table we had wasn't big enough for 5 people(3 adults 2 kids). Our over-easy eggs were overcooked (rubbery). Grits was very bland. However, my Grandaughter did like her buttermilk pancakes and bacon. And, our waitress was good.
An old family favorite to stop and eat at! Good staff, and they are able to reasonably handle a few food allergies. Clean store, great family gathering spot.
Very nice and friendly food was good
Awesome service, amazing food, wish I had more room in my belly for it all!!
I went for breakfast. Food tasted good, but wasn't what it was hyped up to be. I think I would prefer the lunch/dinner menu more. I've had better breakfasts. The gift shop was very fun. Lots of country theme decor and old fashioned candies/sodas/toys.
Always consistently good food and homestyle cooking.
Service bad got charged 1 extra meal
I always get the Grandma Sampler and its soooo good. Whatever you order, make sure you get a side of hashbrown casserole.
Unexpectedly interesting. Many complex products. Its close to an overstocked old-time general store, restaurant attached.
Not what it used to be. Cracker Barrel has lost its appeal for me. Nothing bad about the Crew just the quality of food was not country store quality
Slowly losing its place in the food market. Taste is just not there anymore.
Delicious food, decent prices and great service!
Gave me food poisoning! Worst place ever. Everything is rubbery.. biscuits are dry. Lemonade is too tart.. gravy is salty as f. Meat is always dry with no flavor.. etc.. never going there again. Would not recommend it to anyone.
The food was just fair at best. The waitress was attentive and nice.
Good comfort food and great service
AMAZING BREAKFAST FOOD ALL DAY!!! It’s also loud enough for our little one to sleep while we eat. Also the gift shop is great. Themes go along with seasons and we can always find a souvenir to bring home. We found this awesome oversized Unicorn for my girls bedroom. And we also have the summer beach decor paintings and lights in the living room. Also have some awesome Christmas light up snow globes. Keep up the great work!
Food was great and so was service , but cashier wasn't real friendly.
Great customer service, prices are reasonable. I placed in order for a kid special; pancakes and pork bacon. Also 2 pieces of french toast, 2 scrambled eggs pork bacon pork sausages, and a bowl of grits. Food was hot and amazing. Will attend Cracker Barrel across from Greenbrier Mall again.
Always a nice stop. Fun to explore the store and have a bite to eat. Almost all have a parking area big enough for our 5th wheel and truck and easy access.
The food was great as usual the new pumpkin pie latte left me wanting more flavor but definately goid service and atmosphere
Drove from Spokane and it was a very disappointing experience. Bad service, bad food. The people next to us got their salad after their meal and had to ask for silverware and I was unimpressed at that point but then the exact same happened to us. The food taste worse than school cafeterias. Just bland and not even hot. I will not recommend this place to anyone ever.
This was my first time time at a cracker barrel and I was very happy to have gone. It was clean, the lighting was good, and the tables weren't too close together. The servers were okay ( didn't check on drinks, didn't offer boxes). The food was amazing, we got the grampa breakfast which comes with grits which isn't common and happens to be one of my favorite foods, the chicken fried steak was delicious and the gravy was very good as well. The eggs were okay for me but the over easy eggs my husband ordered were the same as the over medium eggs I ordered. All in all though it was a pleasant experience and we will be going back
Good home cooking, nice friendly people.
This place is my breakfast jam. I like how consistent the food is. Always know what to expect.
Wonderful customer service and great food!
Our waitress was absolutely amazing!! Ill definitely be back the food was very good as well!!! For sure highly recommend
Great food, southern comfort even though we are up north. Enjoyed it thoroughly. My wife loves the store too.
Food was good except over easy eggs were not.
I love Cracker Barrel. This last time my wife and I had the chicken dinner. The worst chicken I, have eaten.. it had been held over from lunch. It was hard and dry. It's quality gave up the ghost 2 or 3 hours ago. It should have been thrown out. I hesitate about coming back, when there are so many other option out their. My favorite is their Haddock
I usually like the taste of Cracker Barrel's lunch and dinner but the breakfast left me wanting. I ordered a combo that included 3 eggs which were bland, 3 pancakes which were too spongy, and 3 pieces of bacon. I also orderd a side if grits which were watery. My waitress was kind though.
Nice server, quick to get our food and refill drinks. Not too long of wait time despite being busy.
Service was good ,but the good was dried up and cold
Friendly service and great menu and food!
Food was fast, tasted amazing, Soup was delicious and the staff was super nice, went here for my birthday and they gave me a free dessert and sung happy birthday, the desserts are so yummy, I loved this place.
Good comfort food in a chain restaurant.
I usually order pick up from them and it's a hit and miss with them. The food is always good but the service not so much. Half of the times they'll say will be ready in 10 15 mins and I'll get there and end up waiting another 15 minutes. One time I got there 20 mins after placing the order and waited another 15 mins due to their lack of communication.
Firstly, my mom loves Cracker Barrel. Whenever we travel to a different state she pulls out the phone to GPS the nearest location. Cracker Barrel food is consistently solid, hearty portions -value priced with better than average service no matter where you go. Part of their allure is the "storefront". My mom cannot resist! Just once I'd like to go to Cracker Barrel and just eat without having to purchase something from the store. A fellow can dream.
Love their trout. Fun shopping
Great food for a reasonable price.
Not great. Slow service, monotone, bland food.
Staff was great but food was not worth the prices.
Lovely atmosphere. Food not as good as years ago
Best Mac 'n Cheese, Meat Loaf, Fried Chicken! Huge portions, reasonable prices, friendly staff!
A real good place to eat. And shop for watkins supplies
I enjoyed the food, but it wasn't a 5 star meal. The gift shop is fun to browse in but can be very pricey. The service is good but servers tend to forget the extras that are ordered.
I love Cracker Barrel it's the only restaurant that my whole family agree on quickly and happily but this Location is an exception to that rule. The allow dogs in their dinning room and this in no way is exceptable to me. The health risks alone! But this is a company wide policy and because of it I will not eat here anymore. Sad that people bending the rules ruins it for the rest of us but this man was not blind or disabled just a rude man bending the rules and a staff not willing to ask if it's a service animal. I guess bring your dog and have dinner.
Food was good as usual, however minor mistakes can change a persons outlook on a place, this mistake was a missed steak i ordered received tenders instead.
Staff was super nice. Store is impossible to walk thru and not look. Very catchy
From the time we walked in we felt very welcome. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was excellent, and very funny and in informative.
Great dervice, good food
Not exactly how the other ones taste. Maybe it was just my plate. They have a great recipe
Food was hot, fresh and filling. Our waitress Heather was on top of our entire meal start to finish. Will definitely eat here again.
The Food is great and reasonably priced too. Buy some souvineers here and play that peg hole game that you cant win unless you got it figured out.
Great selection of gifts and such at OUTSTANDING prices!
Our first time eating there, we heard it was a great place to eat. The restaurant was extremely loud, packed on a Tuesday evening and we were seated in the middle of the room. Definitely not a relaxing quiet atmosphere. Our waitress, Nicole was not in a good mood and was very distracted. My friend loved her food but mine felt like it was heated up in the microwave. I will not return to the restaurant but we loved the gift store.
Our server was wonderful and my salad was good. I always enjoy shopping in the little country store! Great family restaurant!
It's amazing a big busy chain like this can consistently put out great tasting food time and time again. Good service also.
Was seated quickly. Delicious food came out in just a few minutes. Diamond and the rest of the staff were very attentive. Place was very busy, yet efficient.
When we get a hankering for some yummy Southern Style home cooking, we head.for the Cracker Barrel and choose something feom their great selection of entrees and sides. The Chicken Fried Steak and Mashed Potatoes are comfort food. The Okra is a treat because it is the only place we know of that serves it. The prices are great, too!
I always love Cracker Barrell! They are some pretty legit southern cooking no matter where the restaurant is! Always get the biscuits lol
great food for good prices
Great quick service Comfort food
Waited an hour for our food. Then the bill was wrong.
Great service. Good food. But the noise from other diners made the meal less enjoyable. That's beyond managments control.
AMAZING..! I was so pleased with the food. DELICIOUS! The Host & waitress were amazingly kind and helpful. Clean and organize.
Was fun to take my kids. Easy going atmosphere.
Menu Choice was not to my liking no hamburgers no steak mostly breakfast. Atmosphere was very nice the people there were very nice I really really like the service. it was just the menu choices I did not like. I went for a late lunch and a early dinner all I could see was breakfast the breakfast was good but I did not want breakfast since I was already there with friends I had to order something wish there was more on the menu.
Good food, good service & good prices.
Prices are great! Question as lit is hit and miss. Breakfast tastes like they have a buffet in back that they serve from. Very dry last time I was there.
Oatmeal was lukewarm even after asking for it to be heated. Blueberry muffin tastes stale.
Service was really slow got some of our order wrong food wasn't as great as I remember it
Worst Cracker Barrel experience ever. After being seated no one even acknowledged me. After 10 minutes I called the store and asked for the manager only to be ignored for another 5minutes and watched him walk around and fiddle with menus. After watching 2 other tables get seated and waited on I stood up and loudly asked if anyone was going to wait on me since I had been there for over 15 minutes. When checking out the Cashier asked how my meal was. I told her and let her know my dumplings were cold. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I told her I already tried that and didn't have time to be ignored again.
Their new southern fried chicken dinner is excellent!
Good food & service.
Wait was long, food was good, help very friendly. Would do it again.
Southern fried chicken very good, prices good. Clean, good service. Nice gift shop too.
Service and food was great. And they allow overnight RV and van parking.
Great location with great food. We really enjoyed the service from our server Jemal! Catfish and hushpuppies were fantastic with fried okra to boot! Not normal food for ND, so it's great to have a place to get it. Dont bother with the French toast latte tho... weak coffee and super sweet syrupy flavoring.
Good food portions are perfect
Great breakfast! Lot of food for very reasonable prices..
You can never go won't getting the momma's pancake breakfast! It was fantastic! And the gift shop is already fun to look around! Thanks!
Food is always great. And so many things to shop for gets this Grammy in trouble!!
Sorry to give a poor review because I've always had a fondness for Cracker Barrels. In this case, the rare steak we ordered was well-done, the gravy was barely warm, the over-medium eggs were hard, the cheesy hashbrowns were tough, and the waitress didn't come back to check if we wanted more coffee. On the positive side, the biscuits were good and the grits were awesome... if you like grits.
After a long drive from Columbia MO to Sioux Falls SD, we opted for takeout with an order of chicken salad with fried chicken and an order of rainbow trout. Both orders were promptly with a minimum wait. The chicken salad was plentiful with enough to share. The trout was cooked just right with plenty of tartar sauce and just enough fries to round out the meal. Always impressed with Crackerbarrel’s takeout as the containers are impressive and top quality. The takeout utensils are good quality and there is always plenty of condiments.
No complaints with the restaurant- food was good, service friendly. Ladies in the shop i noticed had a funny way to popping up wherever you were looking like you wanted to steal the overpriced knick knacks.
Loved it, I was pleased. Made me feel like Home. Food was amazing and amazing prices. Very beautiful place and the waitress were very kind.
It was your standard cracker barrel quality, but the staff here was amazing!!!! I missed the gals name who sent us but she was from my hometown. Barb our waitress made us feel right at home and like we were the most important people on this Earth. truly an amazing woman and really made my dinner awesome
I eat her with my dad and order off the kids of all ages menu because we are not big eaters and the kids meals are just the right size. Good service and good food.
The food was "ok" at best. Fried Chicken was tough and dry. Service was quick and friendly but probably will not visit this location again. Portions on the turkey dinner were not enough protein for my liking, lots of potatoes and stuffing but only 1 small slice of turkey.
Amazing food! Huge portions! Try the catfish and the okre!
Server was unpleasant. Food was terrible both in quality and quantity. Overall not much value.
Great breakfast!! Pecan pancakes were awesome!! That syrup to die for!!
I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in probably 10 years. My mother in law loved them. We went for breakfast after driving from Las Vegas. We waited quite a while maybe 25 minutes or so for our food. I should ad that it wasn't packed but maybe 1/2 full. Anyway, not one item in my order was above room temperature. My eggs were cold and the sunny side up was over cooked as well. The grits were cold, the bacon was room temperature. It was probably the worst breakfast I have had this year. When the cashier asked how it was we told him. He said well did you tell the staff? We didn't because honestly how hard is it to serve warm food in a restaurant and what should we have done waited another 25 minutes for a re-do. Somehow bad service is because of the customer, it's not ever the establishment's fault. I shouldn't have to send my food back. It isn't that hard. You are in the breakfast business. MY LAST EVER VISIT TO CRACKER BARREL
When we went the food was good (the steaks were a little overcooked but otherwise nice.) However, the lower raiting is because you must go thought their gift shop to get to the restaurant. I personally do not like this sales approach.
Food was delicious but restaurant was very busy
Great food! Friendly staff. A staff member helped us when our car battery died! So kind of her!
Can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. Staff is always friendly and food always delicious. Wishing there was one closer to where I live. Staff went above and beyond to go in the back and find a Christmas ornament/topper that was not out on the floor for sale for us.
The food was great and the service was good also.
Love their meatloaf but always out when we come. Maybe if you know you sell out have more on hand. Otherwise service was fantastic like always.
Their pancakes are the best! Always great food and service here
We've been here twice. Last time we went the food prep was uneven and there was an order mixup, but they rushed to make things right and offered a free banana pudding. It's an "experience" destination, with the (pricey) country store with insanely broad sweets selections and decor items as part of the restaurant and antique kitsch. The service was friendly, and it was a busy night. The coleslaw was good; the kale salad almost cloyingly sweet. The shrimp weren't well seasoned and were overcooked. Giving 4 stars because I do generally like it here; one bad meal shouldn't overcome all the other times.
It was a rootin tootin good time!
The food is always good. Yum
Likely wont go back. Almost two hours to get a meal on a Thursday. The large tables seemed to be the priority. At 7:50 PM finally had to ask for anything for my staving 2 year old to eat. Was informed that they had just quit bringing biscuits before the meal. Not pleased. Canned gravy was a disappointment.
food was great service wow,,,not so good...walked up to the greeter his hair was in his face,,,kept trying to move it to the side...when finally got to us. he asked us what could he do..really what am i standing here for....finally got seated....than we sit there for about ten minutes and no one came to our table,,,figures...finally this person came by and asked us what we want to drink,,we told him what we would like to have,,oh well another 10 minutes and we got our drinks..still no silver ward to use...wow she finally came by and asked us what we want..few....we got our order but the biscuits were in the oven,,,never came till we were done eating...never been to cracker barrel with this kind of service...maybe i should never go again..
Horrible experience, this is a picture of the first plate, I sent it back right away, the second plate, the tenders looked fine on top so I ate 3 bites of potatoes a biscuit and a half of a couple of the tenders and the chicken tasted funny and burnt so I flipped them over and they were burnt I could not believe it I talked to 4 staff members before I just said get me the manager please he was very nice but by that time, I was starving and just wanted the ticket so I could leave. I have been eating there for years but that was the second time since August it was burnt so not sure if they have a new cook or what but it is usually very good.
Excellent food. Great service. Wonderful place for family and friends.
Amazing food. Awesome service. Did not take long to get what we ordered at all and it was cooked perfectly
Great food, great service and down home atmosphere
After an 11 hour drive, home cooked style, comfort food was the ticket. Did not disappoint!
The breakfast was great, good, delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. And the waitress was pleasant, she seemed to be working very hard. We enjoyed everything!!!!
My wife loved this place and it had been a while since going here so I though it would be fun to bring my family and my wife's parents here. Well it wasn't quite the positive experience I had hoped for. It was busy, so I'll excuse some of the experience to that, however the service was slow, they forgot at least 4 food items from our orders, some even after we reminded them multiple times, my steak was way over cooked and not at all the thick cut rib it was advertised, and overall the food was not the experience we had remembered from before.
Great food and lots of it, good service, good price
Good prices. Food is ok. Tastes like cooking at home
Was not impressed. Fried chicken was okay... nothing special. Mashed potatoes also just okay. Both those items I expected to be delicious, yeah not!
Home cooked food very nice service lost to look at should try it
It has HUGE portions and it's mostly under $10. Tasted great!
I love the food from here. Tastes like some good home cooking. The people that work here are always nice and pleasant. The interior has a gift shop that you can buy different items from like candy or shirts. The seating area where you eat at feels like you're at home. I love this place
Always love Cracker Barrel! Great service wonderful meals.
Food is good. Price is good. Need more servers.
Food was just ok and server was too busy chatting with fellow employees to check on tables or even ensure that the orders were correct.
Cracker Barrell is a place I remember visiting frequently as a young man. Now, as I return back, the food is just as good. The atmosphere represents the food they serve perfectly and is charmingly rustic. The food they serve is authentic and tastes like it was home made in Georgia. Having lived in Georgia, I would be proud to say that. The food never disappoints (especially the hasbrown casserole) and the service is always fabulous.
Waitress was new but she gave excellent service. Now the food portions were ridiculously small and they did not get the order right. The waitress wrote it up right kitchen made the mistake.
We have not been to a Cracker Barrel for a long time and I am very glad we stopped. We will be visiting again. The server was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. We could not have asked for a better meal. Highly recommend them for some good homestyle cooking. Love this place! Consistently great food and a great shopping experience in their country store. Excellent staff and great breakfast specials! Have always come in for supper, this was the first time having breakfast. I have a new favorite breakfast eatery! Heard a lot about Cracker Barrel before I came to Sioux Falls and was impressed to say the least. The food was hot & tasty. The service was great! Atmosphere was tremendous. Would go back
This was once one of the better c.b. in the area. The last two visits, not so much. Service was slow. Not sure how long we waited after being seated but it was entirely too long. Not sure if there were new wait staff or short staffed but it all moved slowly. Everyone seemed to be hanging out in the kitchen except for management, they were more interested in pushing the sale of candy bars out front. Floor was filthy. But our server did keep drinks filled which goes a long way with me and she got a good tip.
Food was very good & they have s nice store to shop in has just about everything..
Mama's french toast! The best location I have been to. They have some amazing staff here.
Waited for more than an hour and 36 minutes, when the food finally arrived, sides were missing and took another 8 minutes brought coke refills after 10-15 minutes had to ask twice, around 10 tables were empty and we Still got a very slow service. Offered Free pies gave them a chance and they forgot to warm them, they were FROZEN. Dont waster your time or money!
There is nothing bad to say about Cracker Barrel EXCEPT, I always spend too much money in the gift shop! The food is excellent & reasonably priced and the waitresses are great.
My burger was burnt I told the waitress all she did was bring me a new bottom bun the whole burger including both buns were burnt she then did not refill our waters once throughout our dine very dissatisfied
As you walk into Crackel Barrel, you notice an old country feel. Lots of unique items from clothing to jewelry to country style items and misc gadgets. If you’re there to shop, you may leave happy. Unfortunately, if you are hungry and want a hearty meal, be prepared to wait for 45 minutes to even get some biscuits (this is after practically begging for them) And another 45 minutes to actually get your meal! And we ordered the daily special!!! We walked in at 8:01 and here we are 9:33pm and only now getting our meal! Really? We were about to walk out. No explanation, no apology just a huge inconvenience!!! I do feel sorry for our waitresses Tiffany and Lakaiah. Although, If I could offer them a piece of advice... if you know that your customers will have to wait so long, try to accommodate them with extra rolls or other compensations. Keep them updated with any potential delays and reasons for the delay so that we know what is going on. At the end of the day, where is the manager of this establishment and do you have experience of knowing how to train your employees? “The delay was so long, I cannot enjoy the meal” LoL
Ordered To-Go at this location. It said it would take half an hour to be ready but it took an hour, which was a huge bummer! It was about 8pm so I understand it was probably close to the end of the day. I was disappointed cause I love Cracker Barrel but the cornbread was try and had a chunk missing. The Mac and cheese was delicious as usual!
This is the best place to eat in the whole county. Thanks to Aubrey and managers for always making us feel right at home. This is truly southern hospitality in the mid west.
Very nice waitress and food was very good.
Its a great place to have a nice meal. I love the store you can find some really nice. Merchandise there.
Crackef Barrel is always a fun place. Food is good and I love all the decorations and old pictures and tools on the walls. Their gift shops have cute things in them.
Great food at a reasonable price.
We had the Easter catered meal from here. WOW!! What a lot of food. There was enough food for ten people, there were only five of us so we have lots of leftovers. All the food was very delicious and well prepared. All we had to do was heat things up and it was ready to eat. Although it was kind of expensive it was worth the convenience of not having to cook.
Loved the meal I had great for people to save money and have a kids meal for any AGE
Good home cooked food and it's always interesting to what fun stuff they have in there little store.
Excellent food but slow service.
Wait time for a table was 20 minutes - but half the tables were empty. Food took almost as long but was pretty good. Wife wanted a pancake instead of biscuits and grits and gravy but was told no substitutions are allowed. He (Steven)said they could add a single child's pancake... and it cost an additional $4.00! For a single pancake! Place was filthy, tables weren't busted, service was incredibly slow. Worst Cracker Barrel experience we've ever had.
This spot never ceases to amaze me. It was very crowded and I still got in ate and got out pretty fast. The food was just as I ordered. Server was a little long with service but all together it was well with me.
Good food and good service
Great food whether you're feeling breakfast lunch or supper. Very much a comfort food type restaurant with friendly service. Fun items and candy in the gift shop.
This was the worst representation of Cracker Barrell food we have ever experienced. 2 of 3 people ordered biscuits and gravy one with bacon and one with ham. They were delivered to our table with plain biscuits and the meet. No gravy, when server was asked about gravy he said he could get us some. Shouldn't biscuits and gravy come with gravy? Neither the server or who we thought to be the manager were too concerned the orders were incorrect. The wait time was also too long as it was not busy. Other customers in other areas were served much faster. The server did remove the price of one incorrect meal but not the other. Bad experience all around. CDA Cracker Barrell worst one we've been too of several states.
Very yummy breakfast options. I love how open the dining area is. Always great service when we visit! Fun store inside with boutique clothing and novelty gifts and treats!
They have some really special candies and decorating items I've never seen anywhere else and the food is down home country best. Prices are reasonable too.
Always a fantastic place to go for home cooked food, everything from roast to pancakes! The service is always good and the food is great! This is where we stop whenever we're traveling. You can always count on finding something for your craving.
Friendly and professional. Great hearty food.
The prepare good eggs and serve a nice cup of hot Chocolate!
Awesome food and outstanding service. Cozy country atmosphere.
I love this place, always have. However it seems they changed their country fried steak recipe. It was tasty, however if they could switch to a handmade recipe that would be so much better. The crust is so much more crunchier, and the meat is just as tasty.
Cracker Barrel was great as usual. There were 5 of us incl 2 children ages 2 & 4 yrs old. A great meal was had by all. The children were exceptional behaved . Service was excellent. Could not have been better. Waitress did not miss a opportunity to serve us. On of the reasons we come to Cracker Barrell is for the children toys available, gifts.!! Both played with their additional toys for the entire 20 minute ride home. Toy Guns. They were well behaved. Thank you Jesus. Jn 14:6 . Toys & meals are approx $10. Each. Matt 7:7 "You have not because you ask not" . Jn 3:16. Who so Ever shall call of the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved. Thank you Jesus.
Long wait, good food, excellent service and fair price.
We have been out of the country for 2.5 years and we're really wanting fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Awesome food. Green beans, cabbage and hasbrown casserole still amazing! Kids loved choosing their entrees and sides. Good service as always.
I absolutely love all the food from cracker barrel and their country store. Staff a really great and friendly.
My family and I had a lovely dinner at Cracker Barrel on Saturday. The waitress, Abby, did a great job. We were 7 people, which is a nice size group for one person to handle. She did a great job. Food was excellent and service was superior. We can't wait to go back. If you stop by Cracker Barrel, ask for Abby's section.
Great service, food quality and loved the general store.
It was fine. Very good service.
After a long day at work and had skipped lunch . It was very good to have a nice home style meal . Very good , not perfect but good
The food was great, the service was excellent. Thank you Erica for serving us and making our breakfast experience awesome. Thanks Joel for manning the window and making sure our orders were correct.
Great southern home cooking and a wonderful country store you cant help but shop in!
Food is good. But the waiter Gabriel is terrible! If you go here make sure he is not your waiter, trust me!
Fun shopping and good biscuits. Turkey sausage well seasoned. Sometimes the servers are inattentive, but overall its a good breskfast anytime place.
Good breakfast and good service.
So fun going here, luv to shop here, then of course food is great here.
Got the order correct & made sure. So wonderful!
The breakfast here is always delicious. If you're going for lunch I reccomend having more than an hour of time. While the service is always helpful and polite, it can be lacking in speed and timing. I really enjoy the blueberry pancakes. They are always sweet and fluffy with just the right amount of blueberries.
Fresh, inexpensive and lots for your money. Get the app to reserve your table ahead of time so you don't have to wait too long. The store has cute and yummy things.
Breakfast - double meat and biscuits and gravy. 13 bucks. Such an odd establishment. First time here, walk in and it's retail. Huh? Then I run into the hostess asking for my order. Packaged and ready to go, then a wait trying to check out. Lil disappointed in this waiting on the lady shopping. All in all, loved the food and will repeat visit for breakfast. Beats the typical fast food joints. Might even try dinner sometime. Comparison would be if they can beat Bob Evans. We shall see
The food is ok here. Good and country comfort food. It's a little pricey, but it's not bad.
Best thing on the menu was the jelly from the ladt customer.
Wait time is a little on the higher side but totally worth it. Good food and the service is great.
Although we have seen and passed through Cracker Barrels so many times, we finally visited it amd were charmed by the atmosphere, decor, friendly staff and most delicious food. Absolutely loved the rocking chairs.
I haven't been here in a while but I love your meatloaf it is fantastic thank you
Good value for the meals. Cornbread was too well done. Service was good.
We arrived at 1.30 and only had a 5 min wait before the young hostess seated us. She called us, 2 senior women, "you guys" 4 times between the stand and the table...not very professional. The food was good and arrived in a timely manner. But we had to ask for everything, napkins, butter, more coffee, water...they were not busy as the lunch rush was winding down. At the register, there were 4 employees hanging around chit chatting with the cashier. I know the kids are young and this is probably their first job, but CB should train them better about behavior on the job. We'll be back because my elderly mother loves the food.
The waitress was rude as if she was running from her duties, not very pleasant, and she didn't seem happy wrking or something.. her name is Sam
FRIED CHICKEN AND MASHED POTATOES!
I went with just me and my dad and we felt we needed to wait a while for our waitress to serve us. A family sat behind us and came in after us but the waitress served them their biscuits and cornbread and food first! She was nice and all but she seemed to have trouble focusing. The restrooms looked clean but there was a very strong smell of urine that seems to slap you in the face. It took away from my appetite for sure.
Very good food but the service is not always the best. Ive been going here since I was little and twice waiters have quit after taking our orders. Other than that great food and environment!
Cracker barrel is my all time favorite for breakfast anytime of the day. This location is the best in SA! The staff is always so friendly and out of the tens of times I've ate here I've never once had an issue with the food. It's always so good, and of course my kids love having pancakes with chocolate milk when they come!
This Cracker Barrel has the same atmosphere as all of the Cracker Barrels I have eaten at. They have the same county store with candy & other knick knacks. Those with little ones watch out because the store is not kid proof. Our party of 3 was promptly seated. Our server brought us drinks and took our orders. My wife's and our friend's meals were properly cooked and seasoned. My turkey dinner, on the other hand, had meat that was a little dry. The rest of the dinner, green beans & cornmeal stuffing & fruit salad, was quite tasty. Our server kept our glasses always full. We had an enjoyable meal.
Good food but service is poor.
Had the Cobb salad for lunch. It was pretty good, but needs more dressing. The service was so-so, and the server was particularly annoying when he kept reaching over the table right across my face/over my food while I was eating to refill the drinks of other people, and to pick up their used plates while I was still eating. There was room to move around and do those things from other angles that didn't involve coming between me and my lunch, but he didn't use them.
Classic goodness! Timeless menu that is so good. The staff was really helpful and accommodating. Food tasted so good it was like comfort on a plate. I should go here more often!
My favorite Cracker Barrel location. It seems like the food is better that other CB, and it's always friendly and clean.
Had a great breakfast and loved the atmosphere and very good service.
I went with my girlfriend and her parents here. The service was okay, a bit noisy, but the food was nice. Well, so I thought. A few hours later after getting home, I find myself guzzling medicine and struggling with food poisoning. The corn tasted really strange so that might have been it, but I am NEVER going back.
Cracker Barrel was a great experience, until the end. I will start with the positive of my visit then to the end where it went down hill. Felicia was our waitress and she was awesome! She helped us out when it came to our order. Our kids, who of course wanted something specific, asked for bacon, egg, and pancakes. Well Felicia gave us the best option that would work for us. Then it was our turn and she was just great! When the food came out, everything was delicious! Here is where it went down hill. While waiting on line to pay, a lady cut in front of us. To top it off the girl at the register didn't even say anything. I think the fact that the girl said nothing really got to us. I've been in her shoes, but I usually would say something. Then it got worse when the lady had issues with her purchase.
Poor service. Either we were seated in a closed section or the waitress did not her section. We waited too long for service and then when she did come she practically tossed our food to us. We are not happy.
Delicious food, fast service for such a busy time
Cracker Barrel is consistently good. The food was good as usual. My only complaint would be the busboy throwing the dishes in his tub so hard that it hurt my ears a little. Overall, another nice trip to Cracker Barrel that left me happy and full.
Great home style comfort food! Biscuits and cornbread muffins make the wait for the food easier.
Visiting this location multiple times while in Reston for business. Food is always excellent and the service is amazing. I would recommend this establishment to everyone.
Enjoy your a good breakfast and strong coffee in a cozy atmosphere. Weekend mornings are packed with lots of hustle and bustle. During the week, it's not as crowded and they have lunch specials. One of our favorites is meatloaf on Tuesdays for $5.99. You can work off some calories and shop in the country store afterwards or before if you have to wait for a table.
Great food and great service. Gabe was awesome and worthy of his 4 star apron!
Great atmosphere and good food. Staff friendly and helpful. Just a little pricey for us South Africans, but comparatively good value for money.
Everything from your childhood all in one place
It's always a joy and so much FUN to walk around. Great old-fashioned candies. The food is like home cooking. Enjoy.
Great food! Just like mom would make. Loved the baked apples, apple pie, no crust. They also sell things from my youth, candies etc. Worth the trio.
Very friendly staff with great homestyle food at a very reasonable price
Always busy. I checked in on their app and I got a table within 10 min. Their breakfast is always good. I just wish for the servers to not rush me while I'm eating.
I liked how the high chair has to be a seat at the table instead of being at the end. More safer for child and waiter
Food is good. Service can be a little slow. Wait to long for drink refills most times. Staff always friendly though. Sometimes this place is on point sometimes it's not.
Great service, friendly staff & excellent bkft!
Always enjoy the food here.
Always a nice spot for early weekend breakfast. Prices are reasonable, food is good and the atmosphere is usually pretty lively. If you're planning on going on a Sunday, be prepared to wait anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. But at least you have giant checkers to keep you entertained!
OMG, the crispy fried chicken! It never stood a chance! The coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I have been there when it was slammed, and when it was quiet, and the service is consistently good. Those folks work hard!
Great food, my family gave me most of their food too XP
Best chicken fried steak. And I love that they have apple butter for the biscuits (upon request).
Amazing got the chicken tenders with fries and biscuits. The biscuits were soooper fluffy and buttery. Great service friendly service. Generally quick services
Great service. This location is quite busy. So, if you plan to stop by for the lunch hour, plan accordingly. By 11am, the place is packed. I recommend stopping by no later than 10:30am if you wish to eat lunch there. Service is fast and they are very attentive.
Service was excellent, but the food is so bland. I tried their southern fried chicken. It was freshly made, but the batter was very hard and thick. The mashed potatoes and green beans had no real flavor.
Food is always good and the service is always friendly with a smile. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the online ordering. Not an efficient way for getting lunch during the work week. Plan to wait once you walk in and pay at least as long as if you sat down and ordered in the dining room. Otherwise satisfied with all other aspects.
The food was amazing and the service was as well. The waiter made sure that we had something to drink and gave refill when needed. Also made sure that our order were taken properly and that they were right when they came out of the kitchen. The food was nice and hot which we appreciated and everything tasted fresh. There was a fun game to distract us at the table while we waited for out food and the store as you walk in was nice to look at while paying for food. The bathroom was also clean which we appreciated. Overall a great experience would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal.
Great homemade like food. Yes, I do recommend anytime over fast food. Nice employees ie the people at giftstore session ie Devin, Gabi, & Dora. All so customer friendly and professional.
Cracker Barrel never misses a Beat.... from the meatloaf to the fried turkey to the fried fish everything was Superb. I took a photo of the fried turkey green bean casserole and cranberry sauce all I can say is what you see is what you get it's great..... I don't want to forget to comment about the service which was great tonight and every other night that I come over here to Cracker Barrel. Nicole J our server was great. This place just makes me want to curl up and take nap...so I give this place 5 stars.
Excelent waiter treatment to their customers.
Stopped on a trip. Its Cracker Barrel - good food, fair prices and easily on and off the highway. My favorite menu item here is the collard greens and they never disappoint me.
Love the cracker barrell. Great food, good service. Lots of great things to butr.
My wife and I visited this Cracker Barrel over the weekend. The restaurant was especially crowded and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The staff did a good job clearing tables and seating people quickly. I give them full marks for efficiency when their restaurant was so busy. The waitress was attentive and she met all of our needs. I was especially impressed that she gave such personal attention and care even though it was a busy weekend. I rate the staff and restaurant 5 stars! The only negative thing, and this is more of a company issue, is that Cracker Barrel needs to step up their coffee game. It is too weak and tasteless for the price. I promise big breakfast folks like myself say, “Yay,” or, “Nay,” off of the coffee. Your food can be amazing, but if the coffee is weak we may never visit again. Please fix this Cracker Barrel.
This location is a very great one! A little off the beaten path and the staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of their merchandise. This is my second time ordering to go and my food is freshly prepared and my order is always correct. Thanks Cracker Barrel!
Fast, friendly and effective staff. Food came quick and hot and everything tasted good.
It was so amazing. The people were kind, the food was so very well cooked! This is one of my favorite restaurants!
They have one of the best food in this area.
Split a choose 4 sides dish and it was perfect for two. Good biscuits. Good brocolli. Good fried okra. Goon corn. Good steak.
Had a late breakfast, Ma's Breakfast! It was delish!
Great to take the motorhome out and blow the bugs out. Cracked Barrel food is really good. Southern style. Being from South Carolina I love the food
Went in for breakfast this morning. Promptly seated. Got our drinks. Waited to order. Then waited another 35 minutes to get food. Eggs tasted like rubber, biscuits rock hard, ham like a piece of board, chicken luke-warm. Apple dish good. Always enjoyed lunch and dinner there, but will stay away from breakfast.
First visit. Food was great and reasonably priced. Server was attentive and nice. Interesting selection of items in first shop.
I do not know what all the fuss is about Cracker Barrel. My friend wanted to go for brunch after church, we tried three times but the wait was too long. We gave it another try, got seated-regretfully. Very few breakfast choices(no omelettes), the only hash browns are a casserole concoction that my tastebuds could only handle two bites of, and everything comes with grits. Now my family is from the south but I could never get used to the taste and feel of grits in my mouth, and their biscuits were just blah...Mcdonalds does it better. The only thing I enjoyed about my dining experience were all of the nostalgic signs on the walls and my friend's company. The only reason I will return is for their quaint little gift shop filled with fun clothing and whimsical gifts at fair prices. I bought an adorable hat for $20.
Great food friendly service and lots of cool stuff.
The food and the service was all great here. Good prices too!
Food was good and the service was very nice.
When I get the cat fish dinner wished that every time I get it that they would give me 2 falays 2 hushpuppy but they dont its different every time but other than that love the place
Cool restaurant with a store inside of it. The food to awhile to come though.
Consistent, quality comfort food
We received great help and everyone was helpful and friendly
I like the feel of this place. It seems that it is turning into a chain like all the rest and I hope it doesn't loose it's country feel. They had a fire going with real wood . Lol. You don't see that very often. Service was exceptional!!!!! I had the corned beef and cabbage as it was St. Patrick's day. The meat was great but the cabbage could do with a bit more flavor and a lager helping. Good job for doing something not ordinarily on the menu.
Good food. Donna a great waitress and a wonderful friend to see from the past. Well maintained. Great staff all around.
Service was mediocre, were out of several menu items we ordered. Didnt tell us they were out until the food arrived for the rest of our party.
My family and I love this place! Always good food and good service! And I adore the little store there with everything they carry!
Busy, but delicious food. Always love the store part.
Cracker barrel is a favorite restaurant of my family and mine. Today me and my wife went there for lunch and I tried the new Apple glazed baked chicken and it was simply amazing! As you can see from the picture it had a beautiful baked crispy glazed crust on it that tasted distinctly of apples but was not too sweet. I also got the mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans and everything was cooked perfectly. If you want some good homestyle cooking, you can't go wrong with the reasonably priced meals at cracker barrel!
You can never go wrong with cracker barrel. It is like food your grandma would cook (in a good way).
The chicken fried chicken is really good. I love their pancakes as well and the warm syrup they give you in the tiny bottles...yummy! I always ask for way to much so i can take it home after!
Good food and service. Also nice gift shop. Got to play a game of checkers on the porch - now that's hospitality! Would have given it a 5th star but it was so noisy I couldn't hear the waitstaff.
Great service. Try the steak for breakfast. It's hard to beat this steak for the price.
Food was just ok, kind of disappointing truth be told. Restaurant was understaffed. Service was decent though.
Excellent fast service, great food!
We sat for 17 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. I went to the hosts station to let them now. A male server (Eli) came from another section and took our drink orders. A female server (Liz) came over to take our order and while she was taking care of us, another female server (Lynette) came over and said “she’s going to be taking care of you. This is my section but they just overwhelmed me.” I get the things happen but people who were seated after us had their drink and food orders taken before ours. Their food also came out before ours. Liz and Eli were very apologetic and Liz bumped our order to the front of the line. Lynette: next time, tell us you’re overwhelmed then tell someone you work with so they can take your table. Liz and Eli, thank you. Corporate Cracker Barrel, this is the 2nd time in a row that we’ve had an issue eating at the restaurant (at another location).
My moms chicken was day old by appearance and looks went for fathers day dinner wont go back dissappointed
We were looking for something to eat after prayer night and remembered that this place was on the way home. So we ordered our food to go. The store was fun to run around in while we waited. And all the employees we encountered were very sweet and friendly to us and our cranky baby. Got the food home and it tasted great! Definitely recommend the Fried Chicken Steak.
I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys mediocre food. My first visit to this cracker barrel, I got the country fried steak and the okra. Those 2 items were decent. My other 2 sides were just awful. The waitress was efficient but actually really rude. My second visit, we again had the same waitress who was very efficient, but also quite rude, as many other reviews point out. I ordered the "grilled" pork chop, which was the saddest looking pork chop I have ever seen. It was pale with no sear at all. DEFINITELY not grilled. It was so dry and chewy it honestly seemed like it was microwaved. Our table was in agreement that almost every single food item that was served at our table was bland and just kinda gross, with the exception of a side, the fried okra.
Awesome homie feeling!
Lou Lou provides the most amazing service!!! She listens to your request and fills as ordered the first time... refills drinks before asking... very efficient and friendly!!!
I go here for Blueberry Pancakes This rating is really all about Blueberry Pancakes! If you're on a diet or want to stay healthy stay away! But if you want some good ole' fashioned comfort food... slam on the brakes! We don't have many Cracker Barrel restaurants in CA and so when I'm traveling and see one we try to grab breakfast there because their "Wild Maine Blueberry Pancakes" are amazing. AMBIANCE (Rating 4) The Cracker Barrel is the same at every location, "Country Store & Large Diner" They do a great job however on this point and you can count on the look and feel right down to the rocking chairs on the porch outside. SERVICE (Rating 3.75) The service varys from store to store but overall they do a pretty good job and from time to time you'll get a server that's amazingly friendly and fun. BLUEBERRY PANCAKES (Rating 5) I love these! The pancakes are probably drowned in butter while grilling them as they are always crispy, not too thick and have an amazing buttery flavor I love. They're cooked with "Wild Maine Blue Berry's" (advertised on the menu) and served with your very own jar of Dickinson's blue berry syrup. YUM!
Love this place! Always great food. Love the breakfast and lunch menu .
I loved the atmosphere. The price's are great pretty much under $10 plate. And the food is wonderful. Home made.
Good food service is very good
Our favorite place in Bismarck. Southern cooking and friendly service.
Nice food. Service could have been better for how many were working.
The food was good and inexpensive!!! Pot roast (beef) with MP's gravy &
Good home cooked meals, just need to do some house cleaning.... all the antiques hanging in the dining area, dusty and some have food splattered on them. Won't keep me from going back At this point but time to step up and pay attention to the details.
The service was great, the food was good, and there wasn't as much of a wait as usual.
One of my favorite places, great comfort food.
Awesome service and always great food.
Love our Sunday breakfast here. Always consistent food. Prices are unbelievably inexpensive here as well. Lots of food. You will not walk away hungry. There little shop inside is like walking back in time. Candy, snacks you haven't seen since the 50's 60's. We usually purchase something after breakfast. Thank you Ron Hardin @ Hardin Auto Sales
Has very good sized servings my favorite is the chicken and dumplings, and when getting sides for your meal you should have some ease because the side selection is large. We have had very good service every time we have went when ever we come to Bismarck we have to come here.
The restaurant in Springville Utah was absolutely horrible. After sitting for 20 minutes before our waiter helped us we were served cold food. We let our waiter know and he took it and brought us “new” food. Again cold. We asked for the bill and the waiter said he would get the manager. The manager was extremely rude and didn’t come our bill. The waiter paid for our bill because he felt bad about how the manager treated us. Will not be returning back.
Always friendly staff. Portions are large. Price is good.
Service can be really pushy and rushed but the food is great
Good was great and I found some cute stuff in the shop for my kids
Great parking, Good was good. Services was excellent at first then it just got poor. Clean restroom
Great food in a friendly environment. Always find the experience here worth the visit.
Good food friendly staff and a wonderful novelty item shop
Service was great, food not so good.
Ate at this location, and the food was delicious. The service was in the same manner. Well pleased.
Always a great experience! Tonight Andre was my waiter and he was very courteous and attentive! My son had Sugar Ham and I had the tenderloins.. super fresh and great tasting! I will be back! ❣️
Not fancy, but really good.
Usually my food would be good but this recent visit my mashed potatoes were not good and neither was my greens. I was a little disappointed.
We went out here last weekend and had a horrible experience. The hostess was very unprofessional on how he greeted us and our waitress was not the greatest either. On top of that my fiance couldn't eat her steak because it was not cooked properly. Fix your issues here
it was my wifes birthday. i googled to see which resturants give a free meal for birthdays. google said cracker barrel, so thats where we went. they said that just a dessert. we were allready to pay our bill . so they said we can send a dessert home with you. so we waited for them to bring it. we waited and waited and no one brought anything. so we left. not very happy. will we go there again. Yes!
Searing was very slow. 25 minute wait, place was only half full. Waitress was great. Food came fast, but was very bland.
Cracker barrel is the best l ever had l love that restaurant..mangers and staff are the best
Very yummy, allways makes me happy, and definitely fills me up! :)
Everything was good however it could have been better if Management had our reservation, made months ago with cooperate, usually they give candy sticks to bus group , because they don't know we were coming, we didn't get the perks of that, my Senior group is over it!!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
Great service. I loved my Chicken fried steak.
Good food. Reasonable pricing. Good waitress/waiters.
The food is excellent. The issue is always slow service or lack of communication even when they aren't busy. Fix that and they can get 5 stars.
The food is always fresh and taste amazing everytime. Been here multiple times
This is very good place to eat. First time having grits..omg so good with brown sugar on it. We need a cracker barrel in fargo!!!!
Great atmosphere & great workers. Love the family feel & home cooking. Great portions for your money. My friend & I left extremely full with a food baby. Lol.
I came in to place a to go order. The front desk girl asked for a server to come up, and it took easily 10 or 15 minutes for one to come to the front. I ordered a French toast to go and after 20 minutes of waiting asked where my order was, and they said that it was “still being cooked”. So after almost 40 minutes and listening to the guy next to me telling them he’d placed an order online way before me and was still waiting, I decided to just leave. I used to be a pretty big fan of cracker barrel and my wife wanted this specifically for her birthday dinner. It seems I won’t be having that anymore
It took us almost 45 minutes to be served lunch today. For having ordered the daily special, that wait time is ridiculous. After taking about 15 minutes to take our order, the server apologized for the slowness and said he was going to fix that and take care of us. Then it took almost half an hour to get our food. What was going to be a leisurely lunch turned out to be "stuff our faces" as quickly as we could and get going so we could get to our appointment.
Great food and love to shop there
Between running out of chicken and butter, having a host that gave 4 breakfast menus instead of dinner menus, the waiter being replaced halfway thru the meal by a waitress clearly having too many tables and a few other minor irks, the place seems to be having issues right now. Used to be one of the better restaurants in town. Recommend waiting a few weeks/months before heading back and hopefully whatever issues they are having will be resolved by then.
Ordered food through DoorDash. Total was about 60. Got contacted through Doordash that they were out of mashed potatoes.. how is that even a thing? that was 3 options for sides on different meals. Gave my substitutions. Food came it was terrible. It was cold, missing one of my substituted items and the cornbread tasted like it was 10 days old and crumbled into pieces. Waste of money nobody ate more than 1/3 of their meal.
The food is always delicious but today's visit the service was somewhat Lacking
Searching for breakfast Sunday morning, never realized it was there. We had a delicious meal for a reasonable price. We will be back.
Always reliably delicious, decent sized filling portions. The store side has lots of interesting things from candies, unique sodas, clothing, seasonal decorations. Love this place.
The food was inexpensive and delicious. Also the employees were extremely caring and kind.
Was first time to visit. A cute trinket store to get stuff you just don't find any where else. The staff was great this morning. Had breakfast, it was good, but nothing special. I don't know what the hype is about their food is. I am glad we didn't have to wait as we got there early. I have heard great things about the biscuits and gravy, well I have had better out of a jar. The gravy tasted just like water and flour, no flavor at all. I was looking forward to being impressed, and am sad to say I am not. We might go back to the shop portion, but in no rush to get a meal again. I to me, not worth fighting a crowd of people to get in.
Always great. So much food you cant eat it all in one sitting u have to take the rest to go. Its even good the next day cornbread not really sweet but hush puppies are better evrything is a nice portion. Greens good but just a bit overcooked. They have a larger variety of things to choose from. Didnt go for breakfast but I'm pretty sure it is awesome. They have a gift shop inside to attract the kids so be prepared
Great value for the amount of food you get. Nice gift shop, with something for everyone
Haven't been in years. Husband wanted to try the fried chicken. Great service, super fast, reasonably priced and good food
The best part of this place is the old town feel inside the store. The food was good too and reasonably priced. They gave me as many extra syrup bottles as I wanted and we're very pleasant.
Country fried steak was burnt like bacon, they barely even put any gravy on it. The fries and corn bread were soggy, and the $5 piece of chocolate cake was stale and dry. I will never eat here again.
Always good in here. Lots of smiles. Food hot. They get you your coffee quick. Gotta have some biscuits. Not a fan of grits though. Breakfast lunch or dinner. This is the spot. Reasonable prices. Though I dread having to drag my wife out of the gift shop. That is never easy.
Friendly employees, great atmosphere. You can sit out front after you meal and play checkers. While family members do that you may want to just enjoying or pick the right rocking chair for you.
My favorite place to eat but my husband will not go because there are too many old people. Well there are lots of young people and they looked like regulars!
Great times, friendly atmosphere, only complaint I have with him is sometimes it's way too noisy,
Had the country fried chicken. Was a little dry and breading was hard. Great lemonade though.
It's hit and miss with place. Just depends on what you order. Some times it's good and sometimes it's bad. Today it was. Good. I like the country store in side.
Fast friendly clean restaurant with delicious food
Usually very pleased when eating here. Waitress couldn't remember us in the corner. We had to ask for things at least 3 times. Food was like warm cold. Missing ingredients in certain dishes. Supposed to be chicken and dumplings. Well minus the chicken. Only thing we were seated very quickly.
Always #1!!! I have noticed that food portions have been cut down though. Home cooking? Close to it.
Friendly good eating place
They have decresed their portion sizes. I remember when the Roast Beef was enough to cover 2 slices of bread. Now they have chuncks that cover one.
Our music group come in for late snack after playing music at our Friday evening Open Mic at Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d'Alene. There were 15 in our group. Our waiter did a fine job. We took advantage of the Friday night specials. I had the fish, several had the chicken. Good variety of foods. One note the corn bread was a little dry.
Quality of food was lacking. Food was not hot. Quality and service was good. Did not meet the standards of other Cracker Barrels.
Great food. Warm environment
I usually love it. Today the grits were very runny, the biscuits hard. It was good, just not the normal. The store never disappoints.
I have stopped at this Cracker Barrel a few times and have been disappointed on how my food came out. Steak was dry, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast they hand out. The staff is super friendly but the kitchen is slacking. Do not recommend for travelers passing by.
Great homemade meals.
It was great food an service
Good food reasonable prices.
The service was way below sub par in fact unacceptable! I don't go south often it will be along time before I try here again. The manager was very helpful he had his hands full and his senior staff finally started to assume their responsibilities I would be surprised if there wasn't some a$$ chewing.
Can not say enough good about this place. The staff are fantastic and super friendly. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The gift shop is great for finding some hidden gems while waiting as well as killing time if the place is a bit busy. Will absolutely continue to come here for a long time.
Their fried chicken is the absolute best! And the staff is friendly and customer service driven. Win/win.
Our waiter was Evan and he was phenomenal. Pancakes were delicious as was everything else. They had the fire going which made it very cozy!
Felt a little rushed but food was good and reasonably priced.
The food is delicious the syrup is awesome and the service is always great! Cute gift shop as well been there twice never had a problem
Our server Adrian was very helpful, and the food was delicious. Love the ambiance. Well done .
Excellent service, great food, and always a warm, home style atmosphere! And the store is so enjoyable to shop through!
Love the choice of food selections. Staff friendly and professional. Doty was our great waitress. Waiting for a table was well worth it. Recommend for family and friends..
free brads wife from eternal servitude
Could very much taste that my burger was frozen meat, tasted worse than fake school lunch food. Fries were bad too. Cornbread was dry. The biscuits were good.
Love all cracker barrel. Always great food. Have never had bad food at any of them.
Food was good. Our waitress was excellent. Waiting time was ok. Cashier was wonderful.
The food was delicious. The atmosphere was a nice and the staff was very friendly. Out server Natosha was amazing. Thank you for wonderful service Natosha!
Really nice people ...there ......thank you from...millville n.j. all stars .....at the world series
Best shrimp basket ever!! And Johnnie is the best server ever!! We request her by name now
Great food and service. I really enjoy looking through the Old Country Store.
Decent food at reasonable prices. The items in the gift shop are a bit overpriced but the wait staff was fantastic. Cute item from gift shop in attached picture.
Being full time rvers We stop at cracker barrel often and find them to be 3 to 5 star. Lower star is mostly because of cool food, (my wife's complaint). I love breakfast there
Great food and great service! We locked ourselves out of our truck in there parking and they were quick to tell us who to call and just so so nice. When I went back out to tell my husband the truck was already opened by a nice man that had a lock out tool ! Thank you Springville Cracker Barrel!!! Oh by the way the Meat loaf is homemade and yummy!
Awesome food and great service!!
Great food great prices and great service!
This is one of my favorite places to eat but I'm a southern girl living in the West. The food takes me home with prices that are so reasonable. The management is quite friendly and seek to please you! And their country store with the retro candy, toys and goods brings back memories of my childhood. Breakfast is my favorite and so much food for the money.
Catfish was OK. Southern fried chicken was over cooked, cornbread was overcooked, turnip greens were good. Food took a long time to come out. The waitress was attentive and helpful. Overall experience was disappointing. Not bad but not very good either.
Great food and excellent, friendly service.
I ate dinner here with a colleague and had a delicious meal! Also, as I have come to expect, the waitress was kind and helpful! We were going to go to Joe’s Crab Shack but I just had to have some raspberry sweet tea! If you’ve never had that before here, order it next time! I ordered the fried shrimp meal and it filled me up. You can’t beat the price and food at Cracker Barrel!
Great food great waiters wish Fargo nd had one and moorhead mn had one too
Went to eat today with the family and was thoroughly disappointed. Checked in and were told that it would be a 30 minute wait which turned into an hour. Not pleased watching people who showed up after our group get to be seated before us. Once in, the service recieved was very slow and inconsistent with the other guests. Another family was sat behind us with the same amount of people 15 minutes after we had been seated and ordered and they got their food and drinks before we did. One the food had arrived the plates seem to have been somewhat thrown together and the silverware was dirty. Definitely will not be coming back here anytime soon. Its been 60 days since the last visit and I cannot believe that he service level dropped from a 5 to a 1.
Their food is good and the people who work there are friendly
Food was good service needs work, the server was running from the kitchen to the table dropping food off at table then running back to kitchen giving me the impression that something back there was more important than the customers out front. Didnt feel that we were important.
Service was great. Food was good and the store is loaded for grandma to shop for the grandkids
Multiple items were cold. 1st manager had a lackadaisical attitude in correcting the errors. 2nd manager was the same. He finally offered to take a meal off the bill but seemed agitated. Business was very slow and there was a lot of food on the floor. My 1st time being disappointed with Cracker Barrel
Great food with excellent prices.
I always love stopping at a cracker barrell to eat & shop
Talk about an amazing place to eat. I had never been there. But my grandma said it's just the best. I was a little worried because the name sounds like a creepy meth house. But wow great atmosphere with pretty much everything in it. The bathrooms are clean and the staff are smart in a good way. Amazing home-cooked food. The location isn't too bad either since it's right off of 94. The parking is nice because it's a huge lot.
Had catfish on fish Friday was great
Great food and good service. Cute little store with a great assessment of interesting declorations, clothing amd old fashion candies.
Food is average. The staff is nice. The store is too full, it is difficult to move around in with more than one other person in your party.
The food is pure comfort! You will leave this place in a good mood. Good home cooking and great service
Great food. Cracker Barrel is the restaurant I go for a good home cooked meal. No matter where you go it's always the same excellent service from dedicated waiters & waitresses. Added bonus is you can order breakfast at any time of the day. It's just like being home with Mom.
Good food Awesome service
If you are looking for good home style cooking which doesn't cost a lot, then this is the place for you. They have chicken and dumplings, grilled or fried trout as well as catfish, meatloaf, roast beef just to mention a few. They also serve breakfast all day. There is a gift shop in the front which is always interesting to see what items they have to offer.
Went for lunch. Service was friendly, efficient, and patient since there were four of us. Had the chicken fried chicken for the first time. Not usually my thing, but gotta tell you i really enjoyed it! Breakfast, no matter what time of day was my go-to meal, but now im not sure!
Our salads were tasty. Unfortunately Cracker Barrel has a menu that's always evolving and we miss their chicken salad.
Traveling, so we called in a carry out order. The portions were so small, there was no gravy on the mashed potatoes, no BlackBerry preserves and no silverware included. I was very specific about how I wanted my order. Very disappointed!
My first visit, so I of course asked the Hostess, and server what they like and would recommend. I was really impressed with both of them, they knew the menu and go to the point. I didn't feel rushed, or pressured, more like a real guest. I tried the the boneless fried chicken breast plate with mashed potatoes and macaroni. I know, double carbs, but anyone can do broccoli, I wanted to see what they did with these two very important staples. I was impressed the chicken was moist, cooked properly, and the breading was just right, not too thick or over peppered. The Macaroni actually tasted like cheese and not a butter sauce, and the mashed had real chunks of potatoes! Again everything was seasoned very well. Fresh buttermilk biscuits were soft and warm, I also tried the cornbread it was also fresh and warm but I feel could be a little more sweet or served with honey and jam. Next I had the hash browns, very good, maybe a little to cheesy for me. But the Fried apples were like a warm childhood memory in a side dish. Finally I had the new maple pecan bread pudding... are you kidding me with this? Served warm, topped with the perfect size chopped pecans, and coated perfectly in caramel sauce and topped with a lovely scoop of Vanilla BEAN ice cream. OH MY!! FYI** I took half of this home to the kids.. :)
Good food, good service, friendly staff.
Pretty good. Consistent service, food, ect. Prices are decent. Coffee didn't seem as good as it used to be. But that's my only complaint.
This was the first time my son went to a Cracker Barrell and he loved it. He has serious allergies and they are apparently peanut free in the restaurant (not the store of course) which I was very happy to hear. I myself have serious food restrictions but can always find something there for me. Will continue eating at Cracker Barrell's whenever we can
Servers are incredibly thoughtful and polite...you don't have to wait long for your meal & it's always delicious! Shopping in the country store is a blast!
Fast service although it wasn't crowded for lunch. Good food. Did you ever notice every Crackle Barrel is exactly the same down to the placement of each candy bar on the shelves? You know what to expect from each location. I guess the corporate business model works.
Good food and service. Grandson loved it!
Usually a pretty good place to eat, but I went there tonight and service was horrible!! I had a to-go order, so I arrived about 5 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready for pickup, and they didn't even start making my food until 15 minutes after I got there. (Which is 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready). Portions were a lot smaller than usual and even after waiting for nearly an hour, we still didn't get all our sides. Cracker Barrel was much better in Georgia!!!
Great Home cooking, good value !
Food was less than ok and the staff was really good. They just need better food.
Love their country style breakfasts!!
Good prices and food! Wait was a bit of a long wait but nice activities!
Always good comfort food and friendly service. The atmosphere is casual and homey, though a bit noisy when busy.
Great family food with feel good feeling. Bring your appetite.
First time eating at cracker barrel. Was surprised as I thought less of it than when I left. Atmosphere nice, service better than I expected and the bill palatable as the food. The cornbread is something they can boast about. The meal was not over salted as many places I have been.
absolutely AWESOME service, meal for 2 was like $14.00 I love the Barrel
I haven't eaten at a Cracker Barrel in a long time and I think i'm hooked. I need to go back again soon. I thought it was great reasonably priced home cooking style food. The staff was super friendly too
Service was very slow, tables not cleared off, restroom was a nasty site, country store clerk very nice and friendly.
We usually have really good food at this crackers barrel. But they were a bit off there game today. The pancakes were hard and cold and the bacon ,and ham was just not good ,and to tough to cut .I just couldn't eat it.
I'm giving them 1 star because I'm sick of giving them my money and them consistently screwing it up. I typically eat there once a week but in the last 2 months my order hasn't been correct not once. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But they won't be getting my money for a very long time if ever!
This place is delish.
This Cracker Barrel is much like any other Cracker Barrel, it is clean, the staff are friendly and the food is decent. It is a nice place to grab breakfast or lunch and the prices are fantastic.
Always a long wait but good food.
A great establishment for home style cookery. Pricing is definitely affordable. Always love the old-time decorative feel of the restaurant.
It just depends on the staff on the day that you go sometimes they're great, sometimes they don't know what they're doing.
Service was fast, almost too fast. Felt like get them in get them out
Amazing place!!! Always welcoming and very courteous. Torey service was spectacular
Pretty general food, 'safe' with not a lot of seasoning going on. Their general store is actually really cool. Lots of neat things you didn't know you wanted and odd assortments of candy and drinks that you can't find elsewhere.
Always a good meal. Plenty of menu choices. Our last visit to Cracker Barrel Bismarck was upsetting. The host an older lady named Rita walked us way to the back corner for seating. I asked not to be seated there as there was many more places to sit. My wife n I are an interracial couple. I watched as other caucasion customers came in after us. They were treated much more warmly n courteous we felt. And none of them were asked to sit in the corner either. Cracker Barrel shamed you should be.
Having recently moved from the South, I was looking for something that reminded me of it. Cracker Barrel has the benefit of being present in most of the country and to provide southern style dishes at a decent level. This store is decorated with local artifacts and the staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are hard to beat and the food is served in generous portions. Even though not 100% southern, this is a good way to either have a taste of what southern food taste like or at least help you with nostalgia.
We went in and were told there would be a 20 minute wait. After waiting an hour in the sun to be seated we finally get seated and get to order. After about 30 minutes they bring it 3 of our 7 meals another 40 minutes later we ask where the rest of our meals are. Finally we got "all" of our meals but each of us were missing something (grits, eggs, hash browns missing) we all for the manager explain what had taken place this far only to receive crunchy grits cold eggs and never receive our hash browns. At this point I'm furious most of us didn't eat or good as it was inedible. Absolutely the worst experience ever.
Very good food in the style of home cooked meals. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly people that always make sure you have everything you need. This place does tend to get busy but that's usually how you know it is good. At least you have a gift shop to walk around in while you wait.
I ordered meatloaf, I had to ordered three sides. All I liked to have was just meatloaf and mashed potatoes gravy. But I had to ordered two more sides with it. What l didn't even ate. When I get my food the meatloaf didn't taste good at all.. All I ate was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I did eat a little bit of the meatloaf, but it gave me diarrhea!
Comfortable, good food for excellent price! I love the little store although its pricey!
I Liked it! It was a store/place to eat. The food was good and the waiters were SUPER nice. The price was good and it was worth my money I would definitely eat her again
Wonderfully consistent, friendly and great food, warm and welcoming
Everything was over cooked. Sausage pattys were like hockey pucks. Chicken fried steak was completely dry no moisture left in it. You could taste the oil in the fryers was old like a dirty sock. Very disappointed because the place looked nice and was close to home.
Very clean, polite and friendly people. The food is always so delicious and it fills you up. Mouth watering catfish and fried chicken. The store is a little overstuffed with merchendise.
Food is great! Server needed so training. Had to ask for everything needed. Lo e the country store.
Good pancakes, great friends, good omelets!
Friday fried Cod was delicious. Food was hot, take was fast, prices resonable
Always dependable food. Love to look at the seasonal items in the shop.
I love the breakfast that is served here 24 hours a day. I particularly enjoy the Country Boy breakfast with a cup of coffee. Always friendly service and good parking. Has a waiting area that has a store that includes candy and soft drinks that are hard to find.
Food was delicious. Cashier was very helpful and even an employee that was off work helped me get a toddler outfit to purchase. Overall employees were excellent with customer service. Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite places to dine and shop at!!!
Great place to eat . Nice atmosphere. Professional servers . Great food , breakfast, lunch ,and dinner . Overall great place to eat .
Omg i finally found a cracker Barrel that it wasn't that full we got sedated on the spot and it was 9:0] after we where done the line was all the why out side.
Always a good meal. Food is great for the price point. Definately not a place to be too calorie conscience but not nearly as bad as most fast food fare. Service is good as always.
I am gluten sensitive so there wasn't a whole lot I could eat on the menu. However, if you are big on "comfort food", this is the place. Also, their gift shop is unsurpassed--something for everybody, everything and all occasions.
Service was a little slow at first ( it was late) but the food made up for it. It was really good. The staff was really nice and apologetic.
I’m generally not a fan of Cracker Barrel, but friends met there for breakfast. The food is just okay and the service is just a little better, but my main complaint is their prices! Generally speaking, CB caters to an older crowd who are retired and on a fixed budget. I had pancakes, side of sausage and coffee and it all came to with tip about $15. I personally think thats high. A family of 4 would come to $60. For those CB loyalists, enjoy, but for me, unless I’m invited to meet with friends, I’ll never go back.
Coffee cups looked great, but they forgot to remove the bleach smell by running through the dishwasher an extra time or two. Eggs and hash browns smelled of grill cleaner. It's great that they're keeping this high volume location clean, but the goal is clean food that doesn't have an off smell. Well organized and efficient otherwise with large portions at a reasonable price. Better altogether than the next door competitor. Wish they took reservations.
Dad turned 92 yrs young on 29th. He loves Cracker Barrel. We let the lovely waitress it was Chas Birthday. She gave him Banana pudding, he likes mostly we think because the love of his life loved it, & made for him. Was so grateful they had several Vegetarian , salad, baked potato, an a couple of others that did not have meat in them. She didn't make a big deal ( like singing etc.) That was sweet. Also took our picture. He had a whole day of surprises. In July his Birthday will continue, with a trip to be with his stepchildren and all their children. He is really looking forward his trip.
Service was excellent, but food was too salty
We didn't have to wait long for the restaurant. We got to shop around while we waited. I saw some things I want to go back and purchase. The food was good. The merchandise is good. I'm definitely going back.
Loved it as always. Great biscuits
Great food, great service, great prices. Very impressed.
Amazing place and delicious fud
Somethings never change which is a good thing here . Friendly staff and great food. Always.
Good food, great prices and superior service.
My most favorite place to eat for a down home food experience and atmosphere
Great food and great customer service
I had trout and baked potato. They were quite good.
Always good food. Homestyle cooking.
It's always good here with fast service....can't go wrong.....
Great fresh food. Great variety.
This was my first time dining at this Cracker Barrel. Our party consisted of two relatives (who had dined here several times prior) and myself. Our server, Naveed, was wonderful---polite, patient (
Good service and good food at a fair price.
Love this place! Food service and I can never leave that country store! Keep it up guys!
Great job nice people great place to eat at am happy for scott townsley and maria guajardo great bf and gf
First time coming in for take out. Several employees saw me waiting. No one said anything like your order is ALMOST ready or PAY before we start to make your order OR even bring the food out and give it to the cashiers until I pay. Long wait for one two piece fish lunch. The place was NOT that busy. I will not be back.
Great food, went there for breakfast. My coffee was constantly topped off. For the amount of food given the price was amazing.
Short wait time. Had a wonderful Southern Fried Chicken. Great night with friends.
Great service, fresh food and friendly faces.
The cobbler was tasty. Only had dessert.
I always love Cracker Barrell, but this time the food was cold.
The food and service are always great!
I love their breakfast offerings. You get a lot of tasty, home style food, served in a timely manner at very fair prices.
Friendly service, good selection of entrees. Love the biscuits and a huge number if dudes to choose from, lucky you get 3. Also its inexpensive less than $11 for any entree. If you like old fashioned American food then this will be a happy place to be.
I bought the most loveliest of snail salt shakers here. They spoke to me in ways I didn't fully understand but appreciated completely. The food and service were great as always; the servers are very prompt and respond to requests with a politeness becoming of a server. Anyway buy their salt shakers and join the club.
Went for breakfast with guests visiting from out of town. They open at 6:00 a.m. and we arrived at 6:30. We were seated and ordered fairly quickly. The food was great and the service what you'd expect. There really is no better place for breakfast! We'll be back, again!
Always a positive experience though the line set up for check out could use work. Anything you order should be on point
Super good food and very good employees
Waitress was awesome.. food ok
Love the country store. Food is always delicious.
This is one franchise that does not disappoint. I've been to a Cracker Barrel in way too many cities and they always deliver. You can always count on their good ol fashion country style home cooked meals. Thumbs
Lunch menu for the.lighter side was horrible! The "seasonal fruit" was thawed pineapple and strawberries and you got 4 small slices of each. The 4 grilled chicken tenders must have been from a horribly treated small chicken because there was no flavor at all. The broccoli was good...that's the best I can give them at this point. I was told sinners are better...but I'm not going out of my way to find out.
Our waiter Esa was amazing ! This was my first time and he gave me great food choices and made sure I had everything I needed. From the salad to the pizza everything tasted amazing. I will be back !
Food was wrong due to them switching out our servers in the middle of or time here. Know one told use so I kept watching our server ignore us and walk to the tables around us. Tell i asked the lady i thought was helping our server why our server hasn't come back.To be told then we was switched and my food specifications where not passed along either. I love Cracker barrel but this was not a good experience.
Horrible place to eat. Staff is incompetent and has no idea how to run a resturant. I have been here multiple times and every time have had horrible service
The food is always good. I'm feeling blessed!! Some beautiful person took care of our check!!
Have been to this location a few times and the Food is always good. The waitress was understanding about my diet and talked me through the menu. It was busy but I think every location has a wait time. The food is worth waiting for.
The place was clean we got seated right away and the service and food was great
Don't go on a week day morning, you'll never get served
Anna was a great waitress. Service was fast and friendly!
The Fried Chicken was excellent so glad you have it on the menu also The Meatloaf was very delicious bring your appetite cause they will give you big portions
Good and service was amazing! Was a Sunday⛪ and busy but the staff was on point not a long wait, seated quickly and food perfect. Also shopped, love their store spent 150.00 on Awesome things for my home!
First time at a Cacker Barrel. Staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND on a busy Saturday brunch hour. Sincere, nice people with genuine smiles, not like what I’m used to back in NY. Our server Corrie, I believe was her name, is probably one of THE Most professional servers I have ever come across. Foods good too.
Requested no croutons but they managed to add it to both my soup and salad.... Mediocre food but kinda cheap You get what you pay for?
The wait was 45 minutes, but worth it. Excellent service and delicious food.
always like visiting this place. tried the southern fried chicken. flavor was good but some pieces had too much batter. bisquits and cornbread are good.
Disappointed this time. Waitress made mistake on our order! Plus computer had a glitch which caused food delays. We couldn't reorder food because we were already running late...
The evening staff (in the checkout/store are) here is unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I definitely will not bring my family back to cracker barrel if this is the standard for their customer service. Disgusting.
Southern fried chicken or banquet frozen could not tell difference service was exlleant as allways. But food not up to par with other locations
The restaurant was not full but we had to wait for a table due to them being short-staffed. The food is okay. We had pancakes, chicken and dumplings, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Nothing really special. I did like the fact that they brought out 6 biscuits with my order.
Great food. Great service. Excellent prices. And retail browsing.
I am very disappointed with this place. For many years I have visited tons of Cracker barrel locations through the nation, and I have NEVER had a problem, nor a negative thought about this place until today. From the moment we arrived, until the time we received the food... 3 hour wait. If I go detail by detail, I can write a book. From rude host, to the racist seating arrangement. My perception of cracker barrel has changed completely.
Food was excellent with only a mild complaint as my order was modified after a delay (I assume there was a shortage), however the modification was not discussed with me.
I work nights and like to come here occasionally for a nice meal. For the last few months every time I try to come during the week in the morning it is always incredibly busy with extended wait times. If this happened on weekends and holidays I could understand, but why is it exceptionally busy on a weekday morning? Don’t people work? The food is not good enough to justify this. I’ve given up and won’t try coming here anymore.
Good food, cheap, reasonable timing. They went out of their way to get things perfect.
Classic restaurant what's classic food the way staff was amazing as always
This is my local "go-to" Cracker Barrel because typically their service is good and the food is properly prepared. There have been times when the entire visit was well below my expectations for Cracker Barrel and the management has always been receptive to making it right. On this occasion, my server was Olga and she was so warm and friendly that I wish I could have stayed longer. Anyone that has her for a server truly lucks out because she is one of the best servers we've ever had there. My food was spot on, and even when I walked out to pay my bill, she checked the table to find my personal water bottle still sitting there and came to give it to me. I do wish that the other patrons of this restaurant would realize that they don't need to be loud to be heard at their own table. Fortunately, the restaurant wasn't packed when I was there this time and it made my time there far more enjoyable. This is the kind of Cracker Barrel experience (service and food) that will keep me coming back time and time again.
Because it was Easter, the place was packed. We waited in comfortable rocking chairs in front of the restaurant and were seated soon after. It is definitely a family place. I ordered the grilled catfish and it was delicious. My friends ordered breakfast and loved their entrees. Their coffee cups were kept refilled.
Gotta try the new spring berry tea! Also the sampler is a delicious choice!!
Food was good. Service was good. Nothing awesome.
As usual great service and good food
Great place to have breakfast/brunch. Love the decor. Food is good. Portions are large.
Great food. Large portions. A little bit hectic but I think that's the norm.
Southern comfort food at its finest. The wait staff are always friendly and the food is always tasty. Breakfast, lunch and dinner they've got you covered. Not a fan of their hybrid syrup (maple and cane) for their breakfast fixins or their cornbread (theirs is more savory and I like it sweeter) but that's just personal preference. And I can never leave without picking up a few sweets from the country store on the way out. Amazing place to get some grub especially when you're on holiday.
Almost too quick of service. Lol. We ordered and I walked back to the gift shop and our purchased two candy bars, when I came back...salad, shrimp, hush puppies and apples were all waiting for me! Food was good. I would recommend to visit the gift shop after you've eaten. Friendly servers and no wait on a Saturday evening at 6:00pm.
The food is always delicious!! Definitely a comfort food place!! If you have never been before, don't be fooled when you walk in & it's a gift store. The restaurant is just past all the awesome things you can buy. They also sell the apple butter in jars!!
Very good. Great service.
Very nice staff. Great food!!
My favorite inexpensive restaurant that has amazing food
RV friendly, friendly staff, great food, beautiful clothes, what's not ro love?
Not good. I grew up in Atlanta when CB was a treat to visit. The bisquit were light and fluffy and the variety of deep fried delights although just as bad for you, were at least delicious. This chain has slid. I honestly don't know where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. I drive by it a lot and there always lots of cars in the parking lot, I just figured these are mostly unknowing travellers using hwy 90. Nothing especially wrong with this location but I have no plans to return to any of them.
I love the food. It reminds me of how people used to cook when I was a kid .
Best atmosphere, good service, awesome food, and a very nice old fashioned store.
Maddie was an excellent waitress. Always on the ball, extremely nice and cares about the customer
Love to wander around & see all the fun things to buy
Would have been four stars had our food not came out so slow. It took an hour or more at least for our food to come, then one of the dishes was completely wrong (not even what was ordered) and had to be re done. Also the pancakes flavor and texture were awful. Hopefully it was a flick at this particular visit as Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite stops when traveling. Here is to hoping.
There was a wait, but it was fairly short. The store is a great place to wander around, even with kids in tow as there's always something to look at! The food wad really good and the staff was exceedingly friendly. I will definitely be going back!
Found a hair in the fried apples. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and got us a new bowl of apples. She assured us “this time[she] got it from the bald cook.”
A good experience but I feel the food is only average.
Felt kinda strange stopping in UTAH however we felt so very welcome at this place. Our server was very kind & helpful. Food was amazing, a little slow but hot & prepared right. Thank u Cracker Barrel.
Always great food and a fun country home feel.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is consistently good all across the country.
Food and waitress service was exceptional this last time I was there. I wish the store staff was a little friendlier. At the busy time we were there they were busy managing And a smile was not to be had by one of the ladies no matter what you tried to do including smiling big at her.
Party of 7 3 kids in out fat an HAPPY
Cracker Barrel is one of my favorites. Our server today, Eddy, did a great job. It's not on the menu, but the sampler platter is that little of everything great from Cracker Barrel.
Excellent food and service. I'll definitely stop in again....
Food was good, but customer service needs improvement. The wait staff and cashiers were grumpy especially towards my children.
Great foods per usual! Will definitely be returning!
The store at the cracker barrel is amazing. I love going to see all the fun seasonal stuff they sell. The restaurant on the other hand is bland and boring. The service can be good but it isn't always
Cute place, food was good but nothing special. Nice people and they have a cute store.
I give this location a 2 star rating for the following reason. The previous two times we ordered out were great, the steaks perfectly done and the food was delicious. As well as our second time, our third time my girlfriend ordered the food online at 7:55 pm order was said to be ready at 8:30 pm. I arrived at 8:29 expecting to wait only a few minutes, there was a Lady ahead of me waiting for her order as well. She did not look pleased, the young lady behind the counter asked if I'd like to pay for my order I foolishly said sure and paid, at 8:50 pm a gentleman asked me if I had been helped, I said I was waiting fory order that was to be ready by 8:30 pm he said he would check on it. At 9:05 a young cheerful lady came out with my order and double checked to be sure it was correct, however I was not happy at all so I tried to be polite as she was not responsible for making my meal. When I got home 5min away my ribeye was dry, over cooked and cold my girlfriend's roast beef was cold and the Mac and cheese was cold as well. While I was there I looked in the dining room and noticed they were maybe a quarter full so I can only say the cooks on Tuesday nights are unconcerned on how they do their jobs. I payed over $30.00 for 2 meals that were poorly made. I've worked in the restaurant field, know cooks do not care about their job's by the way they send out the food.
Love this place! It's always a "go-to" where I know I won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is fun, the food and service are excellent, their menu expansive, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Love it!
I had to wait and hour to get served. The green beans tasted way over pepperd wasn't good at all you could even say they tasted burnt. I will not be returning. Portions were small, and the service wasn't great at all.
Great food, great service. Kid friendly
Great Country down home food with courteous staff
So delicious. Love the real maple syrup. Food was so delicious! We bought the pancake mix to have later at home! My husband lived his fried chicken. The kids lived the burgers and fries.
Cracker Barrel never disappoints. So many options no matter what you have a taste for.
We enjoyed our meals and while I also like the store very much, it is inconvenient to have to pay for your meal in the store instead of at the table. I know it is a clever upsell but I would like to have the option to pay at the table and then not have to wait in a line along with the shoppers.
Food is good ,but water was low the whole time.
These guys do a solid job. I feel like they used to give out larger portions of the hash brown casserole. I really can't get enough of that stuff. We had a nice server but she seemed to be in a hurry to get us out of there even though the place was only about half full. But they still have the best pancakes in the world which I'm very thankful for.
This is a really good place to eat. My daughter loves it. You can get a lot of food and it isn't expensive. I always leave with a belly too full. The store or fun too. What a unique idea for a store. Our server was great and my soda stayed full.
Always fun to go there. Food is always good and the gift shop always has wonderful merchandise to look at.
Great food and great customer service! I highly recommend going to Cracker Barrel!
Super cool place. We enjoyed are food
When we were done eating the waiter walked up and said that the person didn't want to be known but they had paid my bill ! Good is so good! Whoever the person was that bought me and the boys lunch. Thank you so much ! I am so very grateful
The trout is delicious! I would love to have a larger portion though.
The food is always good country cooking and it feels like I am going home when I go there.
I absolutely loved Cracker Barrel Old Country
The new southern fried chicken was awesome ....and had a very good waitress. Always enjoy the cracker Barrell.....
An hour after we order our food (happened to be the daily special) we are told there is going to be a wait on it... so instead of the main entry the brought us our sides... so I suppose we could consider it a 3 course meal. Could have been told from the start that there would be a pretty decent wait, but also when you only see your waiter 3x in that hour of waiting it’s probably to much to ask for. Post dinner edit - the manager was very understanding and actually made everything right in my opinion, we will be back because of him.
Wife loves the store. I love the food.
Pretty cute place to go. I love their gift shop and they have a bunch of different old fashion candy.
Service was terrible & the food was not up to their standard. I was very disappointed.
Very cute shopping area and delicious fixens
Excellent service. Best pancakes and warm syrup
Sever was busy had to ask more than 3 times for items eggs were cold, ask for biscuits before the meal came, statement "oh you have to request then, we just don't offer them". What if I didn't know that it was even that they were complimentary ?
They have a fabulous Country Store to shop in before you even get into the restaurant. They make a lot of homemade goods like sausage and bacon. Their menu is reasonably priced and their hash brown casserole is awesome. It's a Homestyle restaurant
Steak was shoe leather! Collards tasted old as well. Use to be a 5 star place!!! Not so much now!
Pancakes were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely stop for breakfast again. Thank you.
Good service but can't cook a steak
Wonderful. They should teach a course on customer service. Their people have the right attitude.
Food has lost quality and service has gone downhill in the past 6 months.
Food tastes good ...but they was out of items on the menu...
Home cooked meal when you dont want to dirty dishes at home
I travel miles just to eat at Cracker Barrel! Love this place!
Friendly staff, exceptional food!
We love this location--the only one in the state of North Dakota
always a good time. so much nostalgia. the staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. i recommend the lemon pepper rainbow trout
Good service... very nice staff! My only issue is that everything except the hashbrown casserole lacked flavor. The customer service made up for it for the most part.
Keith was amazing!! Great attitude, always had a smile and did a wonderful job serving us! Great service! We are from Oregon headed to Cedar City to take our son back to college and he made our break enjoyable! Thanks Keith and good luck in your senior year!
Delicious food served and breakfast anytime. Good food. Fast service. Great store to shop in also. Many gift ideas..
We go here often. Very good food, good service, and very affordable.
We had a great time food is very good the waiter Megan is awesome she's the best
My friend put it aptly; everything tastes like the color white. I gave it two chances, there won’t be a third.
Delicious food and great service! Cynthia (I think that was our waitress name was) was awesome! We've never been here before but we will return
I am absolutely bias, I've never been to a Cracker Barrel I didn't like. The server/service was quick and the food came out hot and really tasty. It's my daughter-in-law's Cracker Barrel outing and she kept saying, "Mom this is so good!". She had the breakfast that has everything (don't remember the name), I had the catfish (1piece grilled the other fried) Mac/cheese, lima beans, and mustard greens. So delicious.
The service was very good. The food was great. We got nice size portions.
The waitress Gabby waited on us...she was fast, and efficient, friendly, and warm!!! The food was amazing, and filling. I will definitely be back again!!!
I can't really complain, this is our 3rd visit to a Cracker Barrel. I don't think we will go back, there really isn't that much special about it. Nothing wrong, it just doesn't hold our interests.
I ate so much because it was so good!
Food OK but not as good as in the past. Staff could be a little friendlier. They were about 1/4 full. When we asked to be seated so we could keep an eye on our RV we were told they had to seat us at the table that was up next.
On this particular visit all of our food was really quite good. And the service was actually quite good! But this has not been the case over the past several times we were there! The food has been cold tough, not brought out correctly, and service has been horrible. I would say that even the few times we have interacted with management it has also gone down hill! We have eaten at Cracker Barrel’s all over the country and would say this would be about the worst.
If you've never been here, you need to give it a go. Unique experience combining old fashioned griddle cooking with an old timey gift shop. Food is 4/5 for a diner.
Relatively fast service, and the fact that we placed two separate orders and they were able to get our second of food out right away was awesome! Its nice to see a different take on fish dishes as well! Had breakfast here before and would recommend that as well!
You can't beat Cracker Barrel on a rainy morning when you are riding motorcycle. Good breakfast and a big front porch to sit and wait the rain out. Food was good and the staff was very nice.
Enjoyable food - they always give enough for a second meal. Homey atmosphere and staff.
My family and I come here weekly, often with more visits sprinkled in the week. Since the initial opening, we have enjoyed quality food and service. For the last month though, the service had been absolutely atrocious. Each time we have been seated no one greets us to even take a drink order for at least 15 minutes, the longest wait time being 30 minutes. FOR WATER. Then when someone finally notices we have been waiting, "hi have you been waiting long? I'm not your server but I can get drinks going?" The managers do nothing to assist us when I have brought this to their attention. For the first week we thought it was a fluke. But now? A full 4 weeks have gone by with 8-10 times we have gone to eat here, and each time is worse. We will be taking our business somewhere else. I hope they fix this soon, we will dearly miss the quality food.
Food was bland but service was fast
Pricy for what you get. Food was okay. Stay away from the fancy corn on the cob. Not worth the upgrade. Service was good though.
A favorite place to eat and browse the old country store!
Food is fantastic! Reasonable price, and all crackle barrels have the same look and menu prices...did I already mentioned that the food is fantastic!
Called ahead for permission to boondock. The parking lot was smallish but the manager was very accommodating. Our server, Marco, was excellent. You could tell he had more than his share of tables but he kept smiling and did a great job. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we are going back for breakfast. Pretty mountain views in the area.Easy on and off the highway. The store has some adorable toys and a nice clothing and gift selection.
We went to Cracker Barrel in Chesapeake for lunch bunch. It was very enjoyable.
Not the Cracker Barrel reputation. My food was fine, chicken 'n dumplings. However, my husbands food, chicken fried chicken, was not right. I tasted it, I think maybe the oil was old...the server suggested that "not everything will taste as you expect it to". This meal was comped and he choose some soup. Unfortunately, it was overly salty. The waitress seemed forgetful. She stated she had been working for 2 months. For example, our salads never came out, so when the food came...we asked where the salad was. She forgot. Drink refills were slow as well. Not the best experience for Cracker Barrel.
Yummy did, friendly service, great place to meet up with family and visit.
Just not good anymore. Well the service was good. The good tho. Bla bla
The store had unusual items and the restaurant had good food at a good price.
Amazing food. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient.
Just so good, got some cool candies in the store part.
Good food &service, not pretentious, clean.
I always find something in the store I want. It is a wonderful place to shop.
I love the Country Store and the food is exceptionally wonderful and the staff as well we're very friendly and nice I will definitely be back to try everything on the menu
This was my first time eating at Cracker Barrel. The service and day core was great. I love antiques so it was right up my alley. Our food came quickly but really fell short of expectations. It was very blah and taste less. I get the whole cooking everything from scratch but that roast beef was obviously not cooked like they would have way back when. It looked very processed and did not tast like a high quality piece of beef. My baked potato looked like it was sitting in a warmer for way to long, and tasted like it to. It was dry with a little butter and they put a packet of sour cream on the plate next to it. Enjoyed the little gift shop, but will never go back to that restraunt again.
Love their collard greens and fried okra but Mr country dinners that they used to have in the tinfoil
Our waitress was pregnant and she gave us really good service
Great food beautiful and friendly waitresses
Just ate supper at Cracker Barrel and had their new fried chicken dinner. The fried chicken was perfect. It had a nice crispy crust and great flavor and was not too greasy. And it goes without saying that the rest of the food was excellent.
Good comfort food just like every Cracker Barrel location. Courteous service even when busy.
We came the this restaurant with a group of nineteen people. The staff set us quickly and made us feel very welcome. The serving staff were topnotch and very efficient. Serving us tasty affordable food. Thanks alot.
Good food & low prices & good service
Excellent customer service. Our waitress was wonderful, I wish I could remember her name.
I am very very disappointed with the service here. My mother had a gift certificate and wanted to purchase food. She is older women with knee problems. She proceeded to wait 20 minutes or more and no one asked to help her. Just as she was about to leave a cashier ask how can she help her and she proceed to go get someone to help her. Debbie was the only kind person there! It wasn't even busy.
Long wait. But Delicious food, would recommend fried catfish. Waiter took a while to refill our drinks but other than that service was great!
Great food, quick service with a smile.
This place is hit or miss. They can either be on the ball with quick and very friendly service or it can take 45 minutes to get food that's not quite what you ordered. I do keep coming back though because I love the shop and even if it takes a while the food is generally pretty awesome!
I love Cracker Barrel. As you approach the front door, rocking chairs and wooden benches are available for purchase. As you enter, you find this place is different from most - it greets you with a gift shop. As you make your way to the actual greeters, they tempt you with their featured meal of the day as they escort you to where you can get some grub. Breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. I never fail to order some pancakes, especially when I can get me some of that apple crisp on top, mmmmhm. Great service, fresh and always warm food.
The place is Charming and the service was good. But the food was not hot when it arrived and and there is no Spice in the food. The gravy was sticky and so are the grits because they were cold. The toast was not bettered and we had to ask for butter and jam. The bacon was good but the rest of the meat was overcooked. I ordered the chicken and that was very good when we got home we have that for dinner. But I would not come back for breakfast again.
This place has got great decorations. The food is just OK very plain needs more flavor.
Although the country style cooking of some very tasty foods is a wonderful experience, my most enjoyable moment while at Cracker Barrel, is the gift shop area of the restaurant. I can never visit without purchasing something. My special purchase are the different snow globes. I simply love them! I collect them.
The past time I was on an cracker barrel was in Chattanooga, Tennessee in Oct of 2018. the service was awful. The waiter was mouthy. The food was poorly prepared and the.mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold as was the gravy I sent several things back and took a very.long time to get back. I ordered unsweetened iced tea..sent it back and got water in return, sent it back and got unsweetened iced tea. Never got a refill. I haven"t been in a cracker barrel since then.and don't plan.on it again
This restaurant has really gone downhill. Poor service and food is just ok. This is not just a rating of this trip but several of the past trips. Atmosphere is quite good, but I think its of poor taste that they make you enter and exit through the gift shop. You can always find something to buy there. They always have you wait 5-10 mins for a table (even though you can clearly see an open and clean table) which is a gimmick so you walk through the gift shop since you are standing in it anyways. I think their gift shop is primary and their restaurant is secondary. If they put as much effort in their food as they do with the gift shop it would be 5 stars!
Having just moved from Tennessee, Cracker Barrel is an experience that I am familiar with. My recent dinner at Cracker Barrel was great. The service was fast and friendly. Our waitress was personable and helpful. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great. I love getting the meals that include 3 sides. My favorite side is probably the hashbrown casserole.
Maybe they were just having an off night, but this was hands down the worst Cracker Barrel experience I've ever had. It took an hour to get our food, they forgot things, told us after the fact they were out of things, didn't refill drinks for over ten minutes, burned the kid's grilled cheese... End to end it was a pretty terrible and painful experience, which stinks because we love Cracker Barrels and almost always have a pretty good to great experience.
Got in an hour before closing, out of many things on the menu (which we found out about 20 minutes after ordering) coffee was burnt food was ok. Felt bad for the single waitress that was waiting on the multiple tables with no help
It was Beautifully over there I'll be back..
My fav location to go too! Friendly and helpful staff
Could have been better service
WHEN WE ARE ON THE ROAD THAT IS WERE WE EAT GREAT PLACE
Cute and friendly female server - food was the usual better than expected. The shop is loaded with all the fun goods. I really have always loved Cracker Barrel’s set up. I was tired and cranky and needed my comfort food. I got just that. Thank you.
Please stop here with your family you will not be disappointed, from the great food to fun fun little country store. Great experience.
Went in for Meatloaf but they were out and I had to settle for a burger. Burger was good but I thought they may have offered A discount after waiting 15 min to find out they didnt have the Meatloaf.
First time at this location. Absolutely wonderful staff, wonderful business, fast service, food was delicious and portions were perfect size! Prices were super reasonable!
Resonable food, reasonable prices, very good service, I'll be back for sure.
Not bad. Throw I would recommend not ordering steak from them they took three tries on rare and never got it past med well so order steak from a steakhouse. Get chicken here
Great place to eat new menus this year.
Oh how I love this place and everything in it. The environment is wonderful. We went yesterday for breakfast and went back today for shopping.
Thank you Cracker Barrel for being able to accommodate our ever growing party. We started with 2, then changed to 5 and later to 7. We changed tables and then added tables and no one once complained about it. Thank you for your continued great service. Also... the food was timely and very delicious. Always a great experience. Comfort food.
Food is delightful. I enjoy walking around looking at the merchandise.
They are still good but not as good as they used to be
Ordered only to have the waitress come back 10 minutes later tell me they were out of what I ordered, so ordered something else only for the waitress to come out 5 minutes later to tell me they were out of that what a joke.. After that game I wasn't even hungry anymore and my family was hungry so I just didn't eat tired of waiting. There food was mediocre and the fries were cold. Manager never came and apologized for the issues, didn't get any kind of discount for the trouble poor execution of the manager on duty. This was the second time I've eaten at a crack barrel first time wasn't that impressed and the second time is now my last....
We were all kinda grossed out by short curly hairs in more than one of our meals but those of us who did eat our meals thought it was pretty good eating. Very flavorful and filling. But all together their store is an impressive collection of classic american randoms and if there's one thing I love it's shopping for randoms.
We went back 3 times while in town. Everything is delicious! Service is great! Menu is treasure map to goodness.
I want the fried chicken here to be my last supper. Absolutely amazing. The chicken on the bone and fried to Perfection. I will be back.
Huge portions for the price. Smells wonderful. Good for large groups.
Too loud. Waitress misunderstood the order so my wife didn't get what she wanted. Get more than 2 dozen people in the restaurant and you can't hear anything!
Love those Cracker Barrels always good food. Highly recommend stop at any. Thumbs up.
So yummy OMG. ALOT of food for very effordable prices.
A fun place and delicious food. Staff very good. My first visit but will go back someday.
Service was good. Everything tasted prepackaged and warmed up. My biscuits weren't even warm enough to melt the cold individually wrapped butter. They do have lots of cool stuff hanging on the walls to look at and a decent view of the sunset.
Its great food and fun shopping.
Had 11 of us sit down and within minutes we were all served our drinks, and when it came time to order it was all done fast and came out correctly!
Excellent food the eggs were great the biscuits were hot and yummy too
Great meal. Very friendly wait staff.
Friendly service. The frozen glass apple cider was highly enjoyable and the lunch special chicken pot pie was good too, though it could have done with a little more seasoning. The service was friendly and fairly efficient. The atmosphere was good and toilets were clean.
What a great experience. Loved the country store and the food is great.
Pretty good home-cooked style food. Usually order the Country Boy b-fest for this hungry guy. The steak was good and juicy enough that I didn't need to add any extra sauce. Eggs came out just the way I wanted them. Warm biscuits with jelly were delicious. Hashbrown casserole was yummy. Fried apples are usually good too. Lines to pay can be a bit long.
Out of all the places I have been and had steak for breakfast, Cracker barrel is the first place to be able to get my steak done right on the first try. I am very impressed with how well they did with my order. I would highly recommend Cracker Barrel to anyone
Very busy place but great service
Orders came out wrong so we spend 50mins at this place. Went to check out and 2 cashiers would not even say hi to me. Then a lady runs in yelling I have a pick up and both cashiers jump to help her. I stated I have been waiting they both just stared at me like I should not speak. I am never going back to Cracker Barrel again.
Food and service are good at any Cracker Barrel. A little disapointed that the retail area is so small for a tourist community like Coeur d' Alene.
Very delicious Wish there was one closer I live in Marysville,Washington
It's good enough food. But they consistently give me the leftover bits of roast beef instead of a whole slice. Plus the amount they give you are never the same. Crackle barrel is better in Georgia than in Idaho. I wish their food wasn't as expensive as well.
This place is a step back in time love it
Service was awesome! Great food!
Always have a difficult time deciding on an item from their great menu. Love that breakfast all day is an option. Love their grits and my favorite side is the hash brown casserole. The grandma's sampler is fantastic but I also really like their fried chicken
This place has gone down hill. The food was not prepared well at all. No where near where it once was. The floor was the dirtiest of any restaurant I have been in years. The table edges of the tops were black with grime as well as the table legs and chairs. Reminiscent of a dirty mop splashing against them consistantly instead of moving them and then mopping. The manager is a jerk, and if the chef is a cook I am a jet fighter pilot. Seriously, this used to be our favorite place to stop and eat on the way home. Never again!
Great food and good atmosphere
Love their food and the smells. They have a great gift shop
Awesome people food and I love their big fireplace.
We were so excited to find a Cracker Barrel. After waiting nearly an hour to be sat. The food was not good and very disappointing.
Service was good but took 30 minutes after we ordered to get most of our food. Half of what we ordered was cold and one entire breakfast was missing and after repeated requests it came out about an hour after we ordered
Love the food everytime I go, chicken is always fantastic whether it's grilled or fried. Great service and not a super long break.
Great food as always, but food took an extra long time to come out for some reason, despite not being busy.
Great service e and great food
Fun experience! The food is nothing special but the service and atmosphere was fantastic. Good portions and home style cooking. I'm not sure if I would frequent here but if you haven't given it a shot, gab some breakfast for dinner some time!
Nice waitresses lousy French fries. Soggy. Small portion
Good food, as always! Clean & friendly.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. Everything tastes homemade and the prices cant be beat. Always a fun excursion through the gift shop and the fun ambiance of the restaurant itself.
I loved the new fried chicken. The service was great. I really was impressed with Sarah our waitress. Her smile made the meal even better.
Excellent place to stop for breakfast or anytime. Love the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Comfort food at its finest! Love the game piece on the table to pass the time too and the gift shop has awesome merchandise.
A very nice place to eat some good southern style cooking, and they even have sweet tea
Delicious Comfort food. Loved the Sunday chicken.
This is an excellent place to eat. The food is very good. The prices are affordable. The restrooms were immaculately clean! The only downside, nearly every time we attend this restaurant we get seated at a table that has a large picture of women in their bathing suits. My family and I don’t care to look at this picture the entire time we’re eating dinner. However, we asked them if we could please be moved and they were extremely courteous in helping us find a different place to sit.
Love the store and the food.
Good food and friendly service.
Old time favorite for me. Breakfast a win! And I normally don't eat grits but theirs was pretty good!
Couldn't cut the country fried stk, the beans tasted awful, I was ill thru the night with a sick stomach. The meat was too well done and old frozen. I had been there years ago and had wonderful food, the same meal.
I love to eat here. It's as great as the ones in Florida. Thank you for making me feel at home.
Love there food and always great customer service
Great food,service and price.
They were out of half the stuff I wanted post-order, had to sub out half my food for something less desirable after I already paid. Restaurant Management 101 Lesson: Don't put things on your menu that you can't keep up with in the inventory or in your kitchen.
Excellent food as always. The servers at this location are top notch! It reminded me of being back home in Tennessee. It's about 2.5 hours drive for us but it's the closest location to us & worth it
We were waiting about 10 minutes until a table was empty. It was not that busy and there were a lot of empty tables. Once we were seated we waited another 10 minutes before we left. Nobody came to even get our drink order. Very disappointed. I hope this is not a regular problem that they have. If your looking for good service I wouldn't recommend going here.
Not sure what was going on the night I was there. There were not many folks there at 745pm but service was sloooow. Our food was luke warm and we had to ask for refills many times. Moreover, there was a lack of attention to guest that night. We waited 25 minutes for what was said to be 10 minutes. My chicken tenders were about two inches long and a quarter of an inch thick. Serving size was small. Biscuits had to be asked for twice, they too lukewarm. I think our server went on a 10 minute break while working with us.
Very good service. Excellent host! He was very nice. Even busing tables during slow times.
Cracker Barrel is consistently a good spot to have a nice comforting meal without all the Frou Frou or expensive meals.
Tastes like home and reminds me of Southern country life. ❤
Always a warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Great food, and nice people.
Friendly staff and delicious food. We parked our travel trailer overnight in their parking lot. They were very accommodating. Great place
Love love love Cracker Barrel! This trip I finally bought my mom her rocking chair. Every trip I go on, which is many, I always stop in Cracker Barrel. Food is good and they always have interesting items in different parts of the country.
I have always loved Cracker Barrel. I love their Country Fried Steak and their Apple Butter. And you can always find candies that are usually hard to find.
The biscuits were cold and hard, the service was poor. Apparently, they were short handed & gave our server more tables, we got ignored. Not good!! But our order was fantastic
It's a chill vibe .
Down home cooking. I had the fried chicken box to go and it was outstanding!!! I've always had friendly service no matter eating in or getting it to go. Bring the family the menu has something for everyone.
The place was too crowded how to weigh more than 40 minutes for the food food quality wasn't worth the time
Great food, big selection, great prices
Crack Barrel never disappoints. The server was great, adding to the experience.
Service was outstanding. Anthony was very friendly and courtesy. Food was not the usually perfection I get from cracker barrel. Food was just okay. First time going to this one so I may try again just to check if it was an off day for the cool. Family enjoyed their meals though.
Very good food and staff is professional and courteous. Plesssnt atmosphere
Ordered meatloaf and fried chicken both dinners were tender and flavorful. You must try the Buttermilk Pie. Brings back many memories. Always good meal at Cracker Barrel
Good food, service and reasonably priced. Also a store with many nostalgic item for sale.
It was a bit of a wait. But breakfast was quick and hot. Service was amazing.
Arturo our waiter was very pleasant. The pancakes were so good. Food was hot. That's a plus
Absolutely wonderful! And really very cheap prices and superior service. A nice surprise for some one looking for tasty food at an affordable price.
The food is so good. We went on mothers day, and even though it was busy, the food was still good. I got pancakes and their warm syrup is simply to die for. Its neat how they let you keep the bottle. They have a cool selection to shop for in the shop. Love this place.
Food is great but for elderly people who come in and have to stand to wait for a table is ridiculous. They need some seats put in somewhere so people can sit down instead of having to linger in the overcrowded and overpriced gift shop.
I love this place I have beautiful memories. When my son was little we had to stop to buy souvenirs and eat. I love it
My favorite Cracker Barrel location! Every employee here is friendly and efficient. The food is always delicious and fresh. Not to mention they're awesome lunch specials!
Was okay... I think I prefer Bob Evans
Very popular. Great food and staff are the reasons.
Labor Day 2019,around 11:00 Am: WAITING LIKE TO THE DOOR,WITH A WAIT OF 45 MIN FOR A PARTY OF 2... WE DIDNT EVEN BOTHER WAITING THE LINE.
Great customer service from our waitress. The host was ok, they call you up for your table but then tell you it’s gonna be a couple more minutes wait. The food was delicious as always. Good portion sizes for your money.
I have never been to a bad Cracker Barrel. This was no exception. Clean, delicious and trustworthy. I'll keep going back!
Apparently they have a secret menu of omelettes. I had one with ham, mushrooms and swiss cheese. Very tasty. The mushrooms are an additional cost but worth it. Also got a southwest sausage on the side. What a perfect breakfast.
Great place to visit anytime of the day! Feels like a home away from home. Great service and food. Clean and relaxing environment. Always easy parking and fast service.
Great food. The chicken pot pie was delicious.
It's always good. Had the what was called the Sunday Special but it seems the chicken got smaller but it was GOOD.
Great service, food was good too
Always good food at almost any cracker barrel, the staff here were amazing and kind.
Today's my wife's birthday, and our waitress was very kind and courteous with us. She said thanks for the free peach cobbler pie.
Cool shop, but food was cold and service lacking
Cracker Barrel is a very pleasant place and friendly environment! My family and I really enjoy eating there! I ordered the chicken dumplings which were delicious and my husband had breakfast. He had eggs, grits and biscuits which he enjoyed! And of course the store is the last stop. Its awesome!! We will continue to visit.
Had breakfast with my grangmother. Wish they would carry other milks for those of us who cannot drink regular milk.
A tasty, made to order breakfast is always a pleasant experience and their service is tops!
Angelina had Great Customer Service! The food was hot and tasted really good. The only thing I would suggest is to serve your white gravy thinner. Thank for a really great Birthday Lunch.
Service is always great here for us. Good food. Clean space. Shopping area cleaned. Bathrooms cleaned. Thank you.
Best breakfast place to go to enjoy some eggs and pancakes
Most everyone has some experience with Cracker Barrel. It's tasty comfort food at a good price. What puts this place over the top is the service. I was eating alone with my three kids and our waitress (seeing I was outnumbered) offered to cut up my preschooler's pancakes for her while I helped my toddler. Totally above and beyond anything I would have expected. I only wish I had gotten her name.
Went with my parents and girlfriend and it was pretty good in the moment, but my girlfriend got food poisoning and is laying in bed with awful cramping, unable to sleep. There's got to be some mismanagement for that to occur so I'm pretty wary of going back.
Food is always great, just be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait for a table, your waiter, your food...
A great place for breakfast. Good service. Lots of parking. My only knock is that it's a little too commercial in terms of pushing non-food items such as the line of rocking chairs out front. But recommended none the less.
I loved cracker barrel til today. Will never come again.
I love going to Cracker Barrel. Always great food and so much fun looking at the old pieces on the walls. And the store , I could spend hours in there.
Fairly standard cracker barrel. Good breakfast and service. Got the south west scramble and it was delicious. I also love their fried apples.
Great place, friendly staff, good food.
Food was great, but there was a long wait after church on Sunday
Simple awesome breakfast fast amazing service
Good place for breakfast or brunch. The little market in the front is so fun, and there are always new trinkets to look at. The food is decent. (I'm not a big breakfast lover). There were options that didn't include pancakes, which was great for me. The servers were friendly. It's like stepping into a Southern bell's kitchen.
Good food , but service not satisfying
Breakfast with family was amazing. The meals were delicious and plentiful and the service was impeccable. As always. You can't go wrong with cracker barrel.
Always a great meal at a reasonable price .Great gift ideas and old style candy
I am a huge fan of Cracker Barrel, have visited several locations in Virginia. This particular location was clean, had friendly staff, and has delicious food. I am impressed with the consistent quality of the food at every Cracker Barrel that I have visited.
What can you really say about Cracker Barrel? Old-fashioned Southern-style comfort food, good-sized portions, and inexpensive. Great breakfasts as well, served anytime. Our favorite has always been the chicken & dumplings - can't go wrong!
Good old comfort food. Great biscuits and pancakes. I'm partake the roast Turkey dinner.
Consistent as always... Little mix on order but was VERY busy so i guess understandable.. Portions some How gotten smaller in 2 wks??..
Great Service ~ Good Food with always a Great Atmosphere Here ~ Enjoyed my experience at this location ~
Delicious pancakes. People friendly. Portions sometimes not enough.
Quality food and great people make this a must try!
I love that cute little Country Store I go there to buy my Watkins liniment
Good server no wait to be seated good food
Good food, great service and reasonable prices
We ordered our food to go over the phone and it was a rather large order. We did have to wait a good while after we arrived, but the order was correct, and the server made a point to fo through the entire order with us and show us each item in the bags. I wish there would not have been so many large plastic containers used as it seemed like a waste
Service was horrible. Restaurant was pretty empty and took 25 minutes from the time we ordered to get food. After asking the server how much longer the food. Will be he returned with some bread rolls and said this should get you started till the food gets out. After not getting a answer to our question we asked to speak with a manager. The server then admitted he didn't put in our order for ten minutes after he had already wrote it down. When the food did come out my meatloaf was dry. My moms order was completely wrong. the manager was able to tell me that there is some fresh meatloaf that I could have, shouldn't the meatloaf always be fresh. Will not be returning
Took a friend for her first visit to a Cracker Barrel. I'd never been to this one. Wonderful, as are all that I've been to! Servers are very friendly, food is delicious, and shopping is terrific!
They are soooo slow it took the 2 in a half hours to get our food ready and there was only 3 people.
Love this place. Everybody is so accommodating
We had a great breakfast with fast and very friendly service. The food tasted really good and everything was reasonably priced.
Very good comfort food. The fried chicken was excellent.
We really appreciate the service and we enjoyed very much so!food was great exactly home made made me very emotional! whenever missing home food we are gonna be here thanks very much
Worst fried chicken ever! All breading, no meat, no flavor! Tasted like frozen dinner fried chicken. VERY disappointed!
Picked up food for Christmas dinner. Everything was amazing. My family really enjoyed it. Ham and Mac & Cheese highlighted the meal.
I opened my silverware and noticed my fork was dirty. Since my food had already been delivered I wanted to eat it before it got cold. I got up and asked the lady who was right inside the place where the servers are for a fork and she said when I'm done with this I'll get you one. Then she went to find my waitress to get me a fork instead of just getting me a fork. She couldn't be bothered to take one minute to get me clean silverware. The food was barely warm. The one good thing was our server.Corie was very nice and apologetic even though none of the problems were her fault .
If you don't love this place, you're not a true American. Rockin chairs, country music and, home cookin. Don't get any better than that!
We enjoy going here, the serve good sized portions for the price and the staff is good
This is one of the best stores attached to a restaurant I have ever been in! There is a lot of products, variety and something there for everyone. Shop here without eating there. Great gift shop when looking for something unique and unusual.
Awesome food and best overall deal for you money
I'm guessing they had new cooks the pancakes was tough not enough cheese in my eggs otherwise it was okay I have had better there
Super busy. Waitress didnt follow up just dropped tab off before even halfway through with meal. Felt rushed to get us in and out.
No hostess to sit us down, but the fried chicken was good.
3 stars only because their chicken dumplings is horrible. Spoke with manager - she was wonderful - she admitted that there is no flavor to it. Menu gives the impression that it's so much better... Loved our server, everyone else loved their dinners. Cracker Barrel - FIX YOUR CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS RECIPE!!!
Had the fried chicken it was not freshly cooked. Waitress was nice.
Fantastic food. Great service
Our food was excellent but our service was SUPERB! We love Cracker Barrell but our service at this location made our visit exceptional!! Great place to eat and shop!
Ordered online arrived at restaurant at exactly the time the order said it would be ready 7:50pm had to wait for my order I finally got my order at 8:20pm that's a long wait for an order that's supposed to be ready Why order online if you're going to have to wait another 30 minutes for it to be read while you're there They had over 30 minutes to have my order ready Service was bad and rude Seems like they get online orders wrong a lot To make things worse my food was cold after that long wait I also ordered a regular side of mac & cheese and they included it into my plate side so they wouldn't have to give me the regular size side. I payed separate for that side and they ripped me off by passing it off as my plate side. I will never be back. Food wasn't even good. I do not recommend this place at all. If you really want cracker barrel try another location or just avoid.
Great food good service donna Great!!!
I tried the new southern fried chicken and it was ok but I would not eat it again it filled me up but was not anything to really talk about
The people are so friendly and nice. The food is wonderful and fresh.
The food and service were amazing
It's always pleasant there.
Sausage were eatable. Egg portions were snall, especially when they give you a platter and put 2 eggs and sausages on it, use a smaller plate for that. The server was very GOOD.
Brown gravy was runny for my meal. My soon ordered a salad and he didn't tell me tell after he ate most of it but it had so much water in that it was disgusting.
Comfort food headquarters. Extensive menu with down home influence. Gooood biscuits that come with every meal. All the sides are "country cookin' " style and flavor. Definitely a fill you up type place with adequate to large portions of everything. Wait staff is mostly pleasant, proficient and fast. Sometimes has a line to get in but you can get in quicker by using their APP and reserving a place ahead. While you wait there is a gift shop layout where you can browse and buy. They have everything from Fish to Country Fried chicken to many breakfast combos. Kid's menu items available. If you can't get stuffed here YOU have a problem. Lots of parking at this kid friendly place.
The food tasted so fresh and so delicious. Loved it and the decor was just beautiful
Great food and good service. Food was relatively quickly delivered, and the gift shop is nice.
Great food and service
This was in Cheapeake Va.. They were real nice food was good.
The food and service were amazing but the mens restroom was nasty, it smelled like urine and was dirty and both of the stall doors were broken one had no lock and the other would not lock. beside that it was a overall great experience
Chicken n' dumplins were delicious! Wait staff were polite and timely.
Food very good. Waitresses usually on the ball. Yesterday waitress not good.
Nice atmosphere good waitresses. The food was very tasty. Couldn't figure out what the dude in the tie was doing he appeared to be a manager but just stared at a tablet for 45 minutes.
Unfortunately the food is almost always less than stellar, lukewarm. The pork chops are always dry. Almost everything I've eaten is bland and tasteless, except the fried apples. I always think it's a good idea to go there, then after eating I'm like I remember now, this is why we don't go here that often. I also get bathroom sick after eating here, every time. You do get a lot of food for the price. 2 stars for the food, but overall it's an experience. My wife and I like to browse around in the store after eating. The staff are nice, and there is a cozy feeling like an old timey store. For that store alone I bump it up to 3 stars.
Rustic dining at its finest. Cracker Barrel provides a "Down home country" feel that is superb. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. I recommend Grandma's Sampler for the cuisine eclectic. Cheers!
Staff was nice and friendly. The kitchen staff on this day was not on their A game.
Went for breakfast around 8:30 am, not busy, no waiting, Brandon was our server, friendly, knowledgeable about menu, excellent service, good food & coffee. When we left there was a wait for seating. Front porch area was full, good thing there was rockers & benches.
Food was delicious, service could have been better.
Was a bit slow on having someone come to the table to get our drink and food orders but the food was good, it was fast service from kitchen to table I would go again maybe just not during peak hours.
A fun little country store/restaurant. I personally wasn't a fan of some of the food, but that's my opinion. I'll try breakfast next time. But the store is cool and staff are nice. There's also RV, and truck parking in back.
I have always loved going here. Our last visit was even exceptional with our server, etc. The problem came when we tried to use a gift card that was a third party with a Cracker Barrel logo on it. First thing out of the cashier's mouth was, "Hopefully that works because we have a hard time getting those to go through." She then proceeds to bark constant orders at me on how to manually try and run it from my side of the register. It was constantly failing. Instead of taking it from me and doing it herself she just kept saying things like, "What do you see on the screen? Push the green button now. Don't push that button yet. Let's start over again." At what point is she going to get a manager over there to actually do this right? We got so frustrated we paid cash and walked out. What good are gift cards endorsed by Cracker Barrel if the cashiers don't know how to apply them of have the sense to ask for some manager intervention. I'll think twice about going back to this location.
Host was not friendly at all. If you are the first person someone meets in a restaurant, you should be the friendly face... maybe she was having a bad day. Waitress was attentive though. Facility was kind of dirty and sticky. We have never eaten at a Cracker Barrel before and probably will not again. Prices were decent. Food was decent but not enough to bring us in again.
Fun gift shop and the food is okay. Kind of long waite but not to bad.
My experience with cracker barrel is allways great thank you for a great place to eat! !!
Love the atmosphere. And pancakes are the BEST! Gift shop is wonderful. But the biscuits and gravy were flavorless. And the young waitress never cracked a smile. Not even at the children. We won't be back.
Haven't been here for years. I was thankful the cute little gift shop still sell my favorite box of chocolate bandaids!!! Still a great place to go!
Not my favorite place to go. We went because we had a gift card. The waitress was very nice. My wife likes the store, and it's decent comfort food. The highlight was an old man with two full tattoo sleeves who was on a date with his wife and is definitely cooler than I am. The bacon baked beans were pretty good. No booze.
We always stop at the Cracker Barrel every time we go through Dickinson. Anywhere from 7 to 10 times a year. They have the best food in any restaurants I have ever been to. I love their home style cooking and how everything just tastes so flavorful. When we went last time, our food came out cold, the noodles were overcooked on my Mac and Cheese, the biscuits were very dense and it took forever. I was very disappointed in the food itself. The service however was amazing.
Love. ALWAYS GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE..Gift shop is awesome as well as a shopping treat after your meal. Or while you wait for your food.
Great hospitality and food was great...bought these in the shop
Oh my goodness the food is so good. Also the feel is perfect and adds to the experience.
I love it I always go here for ever ones birthday in my family and about once a month for family dinner I love it. Good food nice service and I love all the cool stuff on the walls and ceiling.
Great service. Always seem to have a smile and good attitude. Great food. And fair price
Food and service was great
The food was really good. For how busy the place was, the service was quick and proficient. We enjoyed the store for shopping while we waited.
Best bacon ever! Actually melted in my mouth!
My Daughter and 2 Grandsons came to Cracker barrel in Cesapeake on Greenbriar Rd. Waited at Hostess Station for 20 min with not one employee asking to seat us. This location was almost empty at 0830 and We walked out! this was the first very Bad experience I've had at Cracker Barrel.
The food is usually very good but lately not so much.
Service, Food .... Price .... Everything was great tonight ... Hadn't been in awhile and decided to stop in. We weren't disappointed and really glad we did. Sorry no photos, but will definitely go again.
The food is so good. They serve you hot buttermilk biscuits and corn bread with their classic apple butter while you wait for your food. The environment is warm and way fun to be in because of the antiques that are displayed on the walls all around the restaurant.
Love the old fashion cooking style. Would love more than 1 piece of the fish. Courtesy & family friendly.
Great food and atmosphere
Another enjoyable homestyle breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants. Wade was very attentive despite the near capacity crowd.
Cracker Barrel in general is very consistent from location to location. I really enjoy myself when I come here. I only get to come here once a year but its a real treat. The gift shop set up is very inviting to all guests and smells terrific all the time. They always have a good stock of items to choose from. Food pricing is always very reasonable. Yes, the staff is always consistently good as well. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. The staff in the gift shop are very nice. I know this place has a demographic of older customers but I love this place.
very welcoming place. warm and friendly staff. the food came out quick and the taste was amazing.
Interesting place. First time being there so It may be odd for a lot of people being handed 3 menus. 1 for breakfast only the other for lunch and dinner, then one that is basically just featured items. Food was good, just a bit off setting with how it all runs. Waitress was what I would say will make me come back again. Great customer service!
The wait was short. The fried turkey dinner was delicious. Our server Adrian was excellent. The peach tea was great. The restaurant was a little warm. The green bean casserole was good too. The biscuits and corn bread were delicious. The restaurant was very busy, but our food came out very fast.
Always good! I love the store as well. I end up spending way more than planned haha.
By far the worst service I've ever had at cracker barrel, the waitress was rude and seemed like she was annoyed that I was in her section, she brought the food and dropped off the check at the same time, asked for a coffee refill and she tool her sweet time then asked for a container and she just toss it off without saying a word on the table.
If you crave average tasting comfort food, super high calories, basically not very healthy, then this place is fine. However, wading through the mess of their store to get to the restaurant to wait as a marketing ploy that you will buy all sorts of junk you don’t need is pretty pathetic. The quality of food and products are average at best. I’m not a fan of the corporate structure, their marketing, menu or products. Crowded, busy, noisy and annoying.
First time there and i was totally dissatisfied. I orded a steak sirloin cause i was on the mood for meat, but the quality of the meat was terrible. It was undercooked, hard and tough. Also the waiter brought everything at one time salad and all and never bothered to refill my drink.
Awesome cheep home cookin
Zero stars worst service ever over an hour wait for food all tables surrounding us were dirty. The server and manager could care less his words were im cooking so... Like what do I want him to do about it. It was my first time I was so excited to try this place. Never again at this location.
Wasn't too bad . . . I always go for the Turnip Greens and Trout
Good food since new menu the all day breakfast nice the only then keeping me from 5 Stars is the white gravy is still too thick and never enough so I say eat there yes in CDA top 15 places I eat.
I only went because of the chicken commerical they have been advertising lately, I lived up to its picture, the food was really food, however the restaurant was quit dirty, they really need to clean their table, chairs and floors before they have you come in to be seated.i usually don't go to this restaurant, I took a chance and all I can say is the chicken was good.
Stopped in while staying the night at hotel next door. Food was great & my drink was perfect. Waiter was excellent. Highly recommended!
I had not been to a cracker barrel before this and I was surprised at how great the place was compared to my pre-conceived notions I had before I even set my foot there. The food was great and the staff was friendly. The price is unbeatable for what you can get. I got a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side and that made the rest of my road trip at least 2x better. I will definitely stop here again if I happen to be driving that way.
Good food, service was slow so no 5 stars
The food is fantastic. Service was okay. Can't give five stars because this was the second time we've been given dirty silverware at this location (haven't had that problem at other Cracker Barrels).
I love this place, hows it's a country store and a resturant and how you can shop while your waiting to get called for your food. I got a cool sweater from there. the oy nice thing would be if they would have smaller sizes in clothing
We ate dinner there last night, we have have a big family, 6 kids, my husband and myself. Our food was fresh and tasted amazing! The waitress did an AMAZING job and getting our huge order right and was on top of getting refills for everyone without being asked to. This was probably the best customer service I've ever had! This was our 1st time coming and we will definitely be back!! Thank for the great and friendly experience!!
I can't get enough if this place!!!!! Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner!!!! The Blueberry Pancakes are like nothing I've ever had before. The manager was as hospitable as all the servers.
I love this place. I thought the presentation of the breakfast was horrible and the hash browns were actually hash whites and the whole meal was shoved onto one plate. Not good. The trout I had the night before was perfect. The carrots were awesome, the corn exactly right and the trout was so tender and flavorful. The chef needs a raise. The service was great.
Awesome place for some great comfort food!
25 minute wait for a party of 8 at 10 am on a Saturday was not too bad. Breakfast was great. Felt sorry for the staff. Super busy.
First time to a Cracker Barrel. Most definitely pleased! The atmosphere was appropriate with lots of old school signage adorning its walls, the staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, courteous & professional. The food was even better..very generous portions with a fantastic taste. Reminded me of Cousins' - The Dalles, Oregon.
Small meal for the price, but pancakes are good..
Amazing place! Every time we come to the US from Canada we must stop there. Ottawa needs one these. Good homestyle cooking, good portion size, excellent choice of meals and sides and the decor and store are an added charming touch
Their shop is way cool I love looking at all the different things they have. And their food is good to
There was not a long wait when we went for breakfast. The staff is all pretty friendly and nice. Our waitress was very nice and very informative, but she was having an off night I think. I ordiered a side of bacon and it came out burnt. Other than that the breakfast was good.
Courteous staff, a nice menu and a fun store.
So-so food, did not arrive hot, just warm. My order came with 3 sides. I chose two sides casserole and one side mashed potatoes. The two portions of casserole were in the small side and just warm, not hot. The mashed potatoes were a pathetic small spoon size portion of barely warm mashed potatoes! Not the large, hot scoop of mashed potatoes with gravy expected. It looked more than leftover mashed potatoes than a side size. Kind of disgusting. The service was ok, but my friends and I were enjoying our conversation with dinner, after a long day at work. The restaurant was almost empty on a Monday evening, but the waitress was quite pushy bringing us the check and we felt rushed to leave even though we were still eating!!! I usually like Cracker Barrell as a chain, but this location was not our best experience.
The cook does not love what they do or take pride in what they put out of the kitchen. It is just a job, you can tell. The Cracker Barrel 's in the south put out consistent flavorful food. This Cracker Barrel needs to send their cooks to the south to learn how to cook! The okra you could not even eat! The biscuits were just so so not great like most Cracker Barrel restaurants. They were also not done or hot enough. Get some flavor into your food!
Granted it was the lunch rush, but we sat for almost 10 minutes, nobody showed up to take our drink order, say hello or anything. Didn't even seem as if they had wait staff on that side of the dining room. Left without ordering. Either hire more staff, or train who you have to be a little more attentive.
I love food, ambience here. This place has many antique items displayed. I could find many varieties of soft drinks, root beer, chocolate, Halloween gifts.
The food was delicious service was great.
Great food, GREAT SERVERS! Always a pleasure to go to Idaho just to eat here!
Went for breakfast with friends. The coffee was average, a little weak. Service was very attentive and friendly. Food was hot. Bacon and sausage always good! The attached gift shop doesn't sell its merchandise until noon on Sunday due to local ordinance.
Ran out of meatloaf and southern fried chicken and white gravy they gave me the breakfast menu by mistake lighting was dark and hazy other than that it was ok my nuggets were kinda hard but there was real chicken in it I'm glad the carrots we soft the Mac and cheese was a amazing
It's good wholesome family fun
I came in with family of five 5⃣.. It was around 9pm. Waited for main food for like 30 min, then when it arrived 3 of side items were missing, actually one of them was replaced with similar but not the one that we ordered.. Another two ✌️ were not taken to us at all, so we finished our meals and went to the register with out seeing those sides... Their GOLDEN chicken was over cooked and old, seems like it was reheated... I understand that it was the end of the day but food quality should not change and orders should be taken to the tables as they was ordered...... No one from my family said they want to come back.... At the register they were asking for tips, but I said "not this time"... I've been through a lot of Cracker Barrel restaurants in the past 3.5 years as a truck driver... And it was one of my favorite places to eat but this location is worse than any one of them I have visited.... If you will visit one of this restaurants in Southern states you will be amazed with a huge difference of service and food quality...
As always food was fantastic love having chicken all the time
Always good food and good service at any Cracker Barrel restaurants we have been to!
Service was poor. Food was cold. Salad was served after the meal. Manager did comp the cold meal, but that didn't make up for the experience. Will not go back to this establishment.
The food was warm at best. It is tasty but someone needs to work on getting it hot.
I love the food there. I never get a bad meal. The service is great.
Got the Southern Fried Chicken which was good. The hashbrown casserole isn't that great but the fried apples are amazing. One problem is they serve very hard butter that can't really be used. It needs to be served soft. Also our server was not prompt in her service. She was constantly getting caught up in conversations across the restaurant while we were waiting for drink refills or boxes that we had asked for.
First time I ate there. Loved the food n service
One star for the food & our waitress. Neither was satisfactory. The quality of the food was not equivalent to the price we paid. I guess I was expecting it to be as good as the food at the Lynnhaven Cracker Barrel. It didn't even come close. Our waitress picked & chose the customers she wanted to be the most attentive to. Unfortunately, we weren't among the chosen. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this location nor would I recommend it. I would, however, recommend the Cracker Barrel at Lynnhaven which has delicious food & excellent customer service.
The pot roast is delicious!!!
Great gift shop before you enter the restaurant. Usually crowded especially with the Sunday crowd from church. Despite the abundance of people the service was extremely fast. The food was great as you will find at any Cracker Barrel location. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The food is good here but the very best part is the store attached..
It was very good. Thank you
I love cracker barrel. The seasonings on their steaks are A1!.. And the prices are good too
Good was just ok, waitress was rude, hope she was just having a bad day. Might give it another try.
Great food, the best service in town, we wished we had one in ower town
First time experience. It was out of this world. The gift and candy shop was amazing. Can't wait to go back.
The cracker barrel is a fabulous place to eat!!! Really good food, and really great service, always with a smile!!! It even has a large fireplace you can even hear and smell the logs crackling!!! I highly recommend it!!!!!!
Old fashion chicken dinner was a real treat. Soooo good! As always, the staff was great. The chairs at this location are very comfortable.
Always heard great things about this place and having been here a second time, still unsatisfied. Service was slim to none. Couldn’t get refills promptly, didn’t check up on us, food wasn’t very good. Biscuits were undercooked. I definitely will not be returning for a 3rd experience, as twice was enough for me. Two stars is generous and that’s for the gift store!
Seated at 8:00. At 8:20 went to ask if were going to be waited on. They couldn't find our waitress. So the one we asked took our drink orders. Then took our order. Then brought us our order. As we were finishing, another waitress brought us fresh drinks and a bill and apologized for the wait, as she had so many tables. There were maybe 10 tables in the whole restaurant taken the whole time. And subtly let us know she expected a tip. I found the one who actually waited on us and overtipped her in cash.Tip for the missing waitress don't be MIA and then lie about why.
We arrived just after 7:30 and right before the breakfast rush and were seated immediately. Nichole was our server, who, during our visit, explained how the stars on their aprons are earned. I thought they symbolized years of service. I was wrong and won't spoil the story. Nichole has been there six years!!
Took my family for sunday brunch and was happy with the meal and staff was very good with the timing of our food!
I've never had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel. Breakfast was delicious, the service was good, and the restaurant was clean. I really like the new, lighter decor in this location.
Good service, it's our granddaughters favorite breakfast place. Fresh warm biscuits and corn muffins served while we wait for our breakfast !!
Fish had No Seasoning, the service not so great either! Had to ask for water, tater sauce, horseradish for the French dip! Also no honey or jam come with the biscuits and corn bread!!! Best thing was a side salad... Cute stuff in there gift shop though...
Good how.e cooking style meals
The pancakes here are perfect. They always remind me of camping when I was a kid. The atmosphere is great, good rustic feel, and really helps you to feel like you are at home.
Food was okay however, they need to make good coffee. Atmosphere was okay.
Great food. Fun stuff to look at or buy. 5 thumbs up
Service was almost non existent. My daughter's food was great, but the fried chicken is not very good. It's unfortunate how far down hill this restaurant has gone. Won't be going back anytime soon.
