First, let me say our previous experiences here have been very good and the food has been outstanding. This review is specific to restaurant management. We made reservations on August 10th, arrived on time and were seated quickly. We ordered drinks, had an appetizer and then ordered entrees. Shortly after our entrees were served, the power to the entire restaurant went out. We were told shortly thereafter a transformer was hit. Bummer, and bad things happen sometimes, we get it. But it was quickly uncomfortable eating in the dark and with the A/C out in August in Dallas. Our waiter, who was on his first day, wasn't sure what to do and occasionally showed up with updates. After we had been done a while, and also having our plates sit at the table for about 15 minutes, he came back to ask to write down our credit card because they couldn't process anything, and we'd be called with our bill information. Ready to get into some A/C, we did just that. Here's why I'm giving 1 star and taking the time to write the review. 1) Not once during the time we were at the restaurant did a manager or someone with more knowledge than a first-day waiter come over to us; 2) I was never called before processing my credit card, the charge just showed up; 3) when I called the restaurant explaining that I would have liked to know the charges because the waiter shouldn't get stiffed all I was asked is if I wanted a copy of my bill, no other offers. Management that wants to keep guests, and in our case repeat guests, happy would have been more visible during the unfortunate event. If they were too busy in crisis management, they surely would take the time to follow up with a call to those parties who had charges. Last, while the money is not the issue, if you're not going to pay for any back-up power, the least you could do is make an offer to your guests that had to eat in the dark and the heat in a bad experience. If I went to a movie theater and the power went out during the movie, they'd at least offer a voucher to come back and see another movie. Sorry Chamberlains. Your food is outstanding, but very disappointed and don't plan to return. I called last week to discuss mid-day, when you wouldn't be too busy, and the Manager didn't really seem to care either. I just got a text with my bill. I rarely complain, but this time I have to.

Second visit. Sean was our server and his attentiveness was world class. Not the kind of attention that's hoping for a good tip, yet, from a sincere place. The food, again, was absolutely fab. From the time we entered until we left after dessert, was just solid. Always greeted with a smile and just plain ole' good manners and an appreciation that we dined with them. Yes, pricey menu, yet, it's well worth it in my opinion. Sean is listed as a preferred server on our reservation.

My husband and I enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary dinner, we dined on grilled to perfection sea bass and grouper. The gumbo was hearty and quite yummy. The complimentary creme brulee was amazing. The service was great which topped off the evening.

Disappointment I used to love this place and have always recommended it to friends and ppl traveling to Dallas. I stopped in the other day to take a colleague out to lunch. We asked for the lobster tails because he had never tried lobster before. They came out and were practically raw. I dont mean rare or med rare, I mean raw. I politely asked the server if they were supposed to be clear and mushy and she said yes that's how we serve them and will cook it more if you want. Oh, she also mentioned it came with asparagus when we ordered it, but it was only grits and lobster. 1. If your going to cook a piece of seafood under medium you should ask the patron how they would like it. 2. I was a chef and a consultant and easily picked up on her BS. 3. Dont lie to ppl, have ethics and know what you are talking about because you never know who you are serving. 4. If your menu has 2 sides and your server offers them, they better come out on that plate. Richard, I'm sorry for this post and I hate to write it about the Fish Market, but I spent some time thinking on it and I will not be returning and it bothers me to have to say that. I did not ask her to heat them up or take them off the bill, I also did not ask for the asparagus The lunch was supposed to be a nice gesture and I didnt want to ruin that for my guest.

Great ambiance. Definitely recommend the mussel appetizer and ancho chile balsamic salmon. Other big hits at the table were the escargot, flounder entree, trout entree and scallop entree. The creme brulee was good but pretty standard, nothing special. The hawaiian poke was a miss. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely fantastic food. The fish melted in our mouths and tasted like no other. I highly recommend ordering the oysters and Crab Cakes for the appetizer as they are just the best and nowhere else have I ever tasted such good crab cakes and oysters. For dessert if you are a Peanut Butter fan, their Peanut Butter pie is the best. It’s so creamy, yet has the right amount of chocolate around the peanut flavor. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant!

Their special reduced menu, when offered, is great and reasonable. Mr. Chamberlain is smart to offer it once in a while to bring in new customers and to greet old ones. My suggestion is to offer house wines to go with the dinner specials....

We enjoyed the Rib-eye Special with Mashed Potatoes and Spinach. The steak was cooked perfectly to our specifications. We added a Cabernet by the glass and it was fabulous. The Creme Brulee for dessert was out of this world! It really can't get much better than this!

The server was very professional. I asked for seafood risotto which was not in the menu but she made it happen. Cioppino was good but a bit salty without the side pasta. Nice selection of wine and some on the list were on sale ~50% off. Not sure if the desserts were made at the restaurant.

We were looking for a great dining experience for some of our closest friends. We decided on Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill and we were NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was fabulous, allowing us to converse with ease, as we were specifically looking for a place where conversation would not be drowned out by too much noise. Our waiter, Sean Cau, did a very professional job and was attentive to our every request. The staff was always smiling and very helpful. We were looking for a place that we could really impress our friends. They had never been to the Fish Market before and they were thrilled by the whole experience and were looking forward to returning in the near future! Great job Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chamberlains Fish Market Grill last night. Our server Daisy is a true professional and provided stellar service. We had the Lobster Bisque (yummy but could be creamier). My husband had the Wild Caught Texas Red Snapper Victoria, (so much food). I ordered the Chef Valentin's Shrimp & Grits. The food was all so delicious (dreamy food). We also wanted to try sides so we ordered the Cheddar Truffle Grits, Parmesan Fries and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Yes way too much food. My husband isn't much of a Brussels sprouts fan but loved these and asked me to try making them at home sometime. Yeah! A win for the veggies! We brought a lot of it home but it's never quite as good heated up as a leftover. We also ordered one Classic Creme Brûlée. This, besides the bisque is the only thing that could be improved upon. We enjoy creme brulee as a thicker custard. This version comes with the crack-able shell but is almost a runny pudding. The fresh fruit saved this one. All in all a wonderful experience.

I had a chowder for entree and the crab cake and pecan salad for main course. It was spotless perfect and so was the service. They also serve a made-on-the house sourdough bread with garlic butter spread that is really, really good. Ask for extra mustard sauce.

Dinner was fantastic, the Chilean sea bass was so full of flavor! My husband has the grilled flounder with shaved Brussels spouts and he said both were great. Caitlin was exceptional as our server, very friendly and attentive to details!! We will definitely go back.

Nice place, good environment, food? chard boiled oyters were okay, Scargots were divine, Cioppino wasn't what I expected they added salmon to the seafood mix and that broke the balance to me (Salmon is a fatty fish and don't really goes well with a soup)I would it preferred other type of fish in it(white fish). Idaho's Rainbow Trout was served on a wood board (smaller than the fish, part of the fish was hanging out of the plate) It barely had any sauce, not even a drizzle, it looked like a teaspoon of beurre blanc missing the almonds and without flavor. I had to ask the server for lemon wages. I left the best for last just because... Service??? there were two servers attending our table very attentive and nice but this is what happened; First I asked for a Texas Old fashioned for me and a bottle of wine for my companion and I. Obviously I wanted to enjoy my drink first before the appetizers, wich it didn't happen that way!! We got the food first and 6 minutes after the drinks(thats a big no no to me) After finishing the appetizers I told the server that we didn't want to get the main course right away I wanted to finish my Texas old fashioned so I can have wine with the main couse. Finishing My drink I found inside stacked to an Ice cube what it seems to be a fruit fly. I was very excited to be coming to this restaurant for it's menu but I end up very disappointed after all. Server did Apologize for the bug found in my drink and took it out of the check and also said desert was going to be taking care but I end up paying for it. ( Chocolate cake with ice cream, not very pleasant. Good cream brulee) I give to these place a 6 out of a 10. Best thing from this place was the Grits with cheddar and white truffle oil. Manager never came to the table to apologize or at least to ask if everything was ok.

Our Office came here for our annual Christmas party and it was amazing! The service was excellent! We had a large group and, both waitresses were great. Very helpful, patient and friendly . Went here with a group. I got a card to review but the link was broken so now I am here. The service at this restaurant was amazing. We had a fairly large group and everything ran like clockwork. Food was ok, it was a little too salty for my taste. I had the redfish with lobster and shrimp macaroni. Out appetizers were very good. Loved the ahí tuna.

I was in town visiting family, and preparing for an interview I had the next day. My family decided to treat me to a super nice dinner at Chamberlains. I was impressed within seconds of walking through the door. The food was amazing, the wine pairing was great, and our server, Sasha was hands down the best server I've ever had anywhere! She was incredible, I loved her energy that she brought to the table, and her knowledge about the daily specials were perfect. She also made sure to wish me good luck on my interview, which I thought was very sweet. I've been to several 5 star restaurants around that area, and Chamberlains is hands down the best place. So Sasha, if you read this, I got the job! I hope to visit Chamberlains again soon.
