What a great store. I wish I'd have known about it earlier. Great variety of fish, snakes, and lizards. Staff was very friendly and took time to explain just about every animal to my 3 boys. Prices are great too. We'll definitely be getting our snake supplies here from now on.

The pricing are nice and all but people who buys from here should understand they do need to quarantine their fish. If they were able to either treat or keep fish for a bit I would be buying here often. But certainly understandable due to size of the place they are limited as they need to keep stocks moving in order to make money. Part of the reason why I wont buy and why I haven't been there in years.

I have got to say... Shawn really knows his stuff. I "thought" my Beta (male ) had swim bladder because of some odd behaviors but come to find out how wrong I was... He's simply matured an is looking for a mate... The information provided by Shawn was informative and he explained himself so well. I am so thankful.

You should definitely visit this store for any of your fish and reptile needs. The owner and staff are very helpful and informative about the animals they keep including husbandry methods, animal diets, and more; you can definitely tell they have a love and passion for these animals, too.

Dont let the small shop size fool you. This is a great little shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I found high quality products for a very reasonable price. Better clean up crew choices for my saltwater aquarium than some other larger stores. Will be back in the future!

This was my first snake , I put him on hold and from that moment the staff considered him mine , he was off limits to other costumers handling him . Almost every day for about two weeks I came by to check on Jebediah. During that time they answered every question I could think of . Their knowledge and patience made me more and more confident in my decision. They helped me with what I would need and more over , what I wouldn’t need . Great team , great guys , great experience.

Best little shop around. All staff are very knowledgeable. You can trust them with your saltwater fish and reptile needs. They support education and that is a major plus in my book. They will talk to you and teach you and help you get started. If they do not have an item or pet, they can most likey get it.

Just happened to be in old hickory for the first time and spotted this gem. Not exactly big and visible from street. Noticed the aquarium part in the sign. If you are looking for salt water, this is your place! Also has pond koi, which are the only fresh water fish. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice experience.

Went to the store to grab a gecko, ended up with a whole mess of animals recently. Amazing treatment, once you are a regular you are free to check out the animals freely, seriously great place to pick out a beautiful ball python. Hopefully they expand in the future and open a bigger store, only so i can work there and get first dibs on the new stuff!
