i looooveee them they are sooo spaced out and clean they love their animals, staff is great especially Mrs. Casey she knows what shes doing when it comes to reptiles the owner is nice too he has his own dog that comes in and loves belly rubs and he brings in his like 6 bearded dragons and i love their setup. i just love them period they are so nice they dont like the way petland treats their animals which i love that they dont and they take in sick animals and health them back up they will tell you if they just got the animal and how and why they look the way they do (not that anything is bad looking) they will refer you to their vet sometimes, they are always working and i love their fish room and i love how it doesnt matter how many animals they have they always give them what they need. Staff was rude when we asked questions. The tanks quite a few were really dirty. We loved the many different species of everything. Store was so over the top hot! You would need a personal fan to be in there longer than 15 min. The store and people id rate a 0 the difference in animals id give a five. So well settle with a three.

Recently bought a Leopard Gecko @ Nashville Exotic Pet Expo April 2019 Overall service was great, the dealers seemed friendly, but under further inspection the gecko wasn't as great. He's pretty skinny and small and his eyecaps had stuck shed (now removed) some of his toes also have a bit of stuck shed but the real kicker is that most of his toes have rotted off, and one is in the process of doing so. He also has some mysterious scar on his spine. I urge the breeders to give access to more humidity during shedding. One way to do this is with a humidity box. I don't think I'll be buying any Leopard Geckos from here again, thanks.. Edit: under even further inspection, he has this sort of.. .scab?? Rash? Burn? Scar on the base of his tail. I suspect a burn. Edit 2: he shed off the burn. I'm not sure if he got burned under my care (unlikely since he has only been with me a few weeks) or yours, but I'm glad it wasn't that big of an issue

Absolute terrible care of animals. Went the other day with a friend to pick up some things and saw a baby Savannah Monitor who was basically a skeleton with skin and extremely dehydrated; we actually thought he was dead upon seeing him. My friend tapped the glass and he took a breath but he could not lift his head or open his eyes. The water bowl was huge- I don't think he could even get in or even access the water, and if he did he'd likely drown with how deep it was in comparison to him. I will attach an image. There was a tank of Bearded Dragons across from him, a normal and a few Silkies, and while the normal looked mostly good, the Silkies were emaciated and had so much stuck shed on their eyes they couldn't open them. Another tank a few meters away had 6 beardies in way too small an enclosure, when beardies aren't even really supposed to be cohabbed, and under them is a Uromastyx with feces smeared all over the tiles in the bottom of his tank. Near the beardies and Uro there was a tank with four ball pythons in it, with a bright light shining on them and no hide, which is an EXTREME no-no for them. They are nocturnal snakes who live in termite mounds- light stresses them. The only thing in their enclosure was a water bowl which three were squeezed into, one atop another, because they were desperate for SOME kind of security. I wouldn't be surprised if one ends up drowned because they're all trying to pile in. Not to mention the stuck shed on them. Back to the Savannah, we mentioned it to one of the employees and he came and took it out, claimed, "oh, sometimes farm-hatched savannahs just don't do good", this was.. no. This enclosure was awful and even if that baby had been a failure to thrive, he didn't even have a chance in there. This place should be shut down, I wouldn't even give them business if they weren't the only supplier of frozen rodents in the area that we know of.

Fish were way over priced, I didn't know any better at the time. Was able to purchase 2 fish for the price of one here from another local pet store. This will definitely be my last stop when purchasing fish, use to be my first stop, when I didn't know any better.

Great place for healthy reptiles and supplies. Prices on equipment are waaaay cheaper than Petsmart or Petco and have the quality stuff in stock. Live feeder insects are affordable; crickets don't die quickly like Petco's. Offered me an older juvenile bearded dragon that was not on display instead of a baby for my 5yr old, which I absolutely appreciated! She was well taken care of there and is thriving in her new home with us. Check out the huuuge tortoise while you're there!

Bought 2 chameleons from them on top of a trade for a HEALTHY mangrove monitor. Upon arrival at the store one was extremely skinny and the manager on duty said that she was skinny and it will just take some work since age was wild caught. And I also received an elephant Eared chameleon which had a bacterial infection and tapeworm. So the first chameleon died.... unfortunately after all the vet bills nothing could save her she was too far gone... so I call store to show them proof they tell me because it’s a “wild” caught animal they can’t guarantee anything. Ok so I asked if they could at least give me store credit for her and I’d make a purchase and I was given less than half... ok I get it you gotta make money so on and so on. So I took that store credit and bought yet another elephant Eared. Upon her arrival I seen her feet were swollen to 5x their normal size. Made a vet appointment and didn’t have her for 48 hours and she died in my hands hours later!!.. I took her up this time for proof and they told me we will call you back and work something out. To just get a call that says sorry can’t do anything so after over $1,000 spent all was for nothing and I have not a single chameleon I got from them is a live now as we speak. And I want to mind you I have 4 others who I have owned for years and one is a rescue. So I will NEVER do business again with this company

Not impressed, many of the animals appeared sickly.. in a tank of baby beardies one was definitely dead.. an they had six full grown beards in a tank the size i that i use for my one, it'd be one thing if they all seemed healthy but one was skin an bones, i wantes to grab him an run, but whole cage was labelednot for sale. Bearded dragons are not social creatures, they shouldn'tbe housed together especially if you arent gonna pay attention to know when one needs help. There was other lizards that appeared to be sickly, had nipped tails from being caged together, or dead in cages.. clearly this place should not sell reptiles since they dont know how to properly care for them.

It is well known that betta fish are one of the most abused species in the aquarium trade and I can honestly say I have never been more appalled by the treatment of these fish than I was when I saw them here. They have at least 30 female bettas crammed into a small tank with 3 other kinds of fish with no sort of plants, cover, or protection. Anyone who knows anything about betta fish knows that females can be just as aggressive as males when not given enough space and proper hiding spots. These fish barely had enough room to turn around without bumping into another one. I watched for about 5 minutes as they all flared at each other, nipped each other's fins (ALL their fins are ripped, frayed, and with chunks missing), darted around the tank trying to get away from each other, and bullied smaller ones into corners until I couldn't bare to watch anymore. There were dead fish on the bottom and others just lying there waiting to die, exhausted from constantly fighting I'm sure, not able to reach the top to breathe as bettas often need to do. I left this place in tears for these poor animals as the employee or whoever chased me outside to say "oh they just came in" when I told them they should be ashamed of themselves on my way out. It doesn't matter if they just came in or have been there for months. No animal deserves that kind of treatment. I always try to support local fish stores because usually they are much more knowledgeable and treat their animals with much more care and respect. This is obviously not the case here. These fish would be better off in the tiny ammonia filled cups at Petco or Petsmart. The other fish and reptiles they have were sickly looking and in dirty tanks. Disgusted. Will not go back.

Animals habitats were terrible. Not clean. Large amounts of feces. In desperate need of a good cleaning. Nice selection of feeders... insects and others. This place has potential. But it needs work.

Everyone here is so helpful. I was going to order my frog online but decided to ask if they could order it for me and they did. By far the worst aquatic store I’ve visited. We drove 1 1/2 hours to get a lion fish (that we called and had them hold for us), to get there and find it dead. The excuse was, it was fine this morning.... if you know about aquariums and fish, etc. you see signs before the actual death to be able to cure it. On top of that they said they got it on Friday (3 days ago). That shows bad business because you want to, at a minimum wait a week to make sure it’s heslthy and has gotten the nutrients it needs. They tried fixing the problem by ordering another with a little discount and 10% off our purchase today. After we browsed the store we saw 4 freshwater aquariums in horrible conditions. Algae like crazy, 4 dead fish in one tank, most fish were swimming at the top because they needed oxygen. It was so sad to see all of this. We ended up not taking the offer of the “discount” because of all the conditions of the store. We will not be going back and hope someone can get this store under control.

They should remove the carpet from the fish area, and clean the tanks. There full of algae and its gross. The store is exelente and if they would hire me I would change a lot in there and clean it up. The layout of it is a bit messy to. A lot of little things need to be fixed in order for it to be a really good store. As of right now it's ok at best but with so much potential. They have a variety of fish and reptiles. All sorts of assorted corals. But the tanks are so dirty. A few dead fish but mostly healthy ones. And of what I could see the reptiles were well kept. Its a shame it's all a bit messy.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Too bad, they have little knowledge about crickets. I purchased 4 dozen crickets and had to ask for a carton. The carton helps prevent the crickets from squishing each orher. I got a tiny piece and half of my crickets died before I made it home.

They charge you by quantity of worms but they dont sell you the amount they charge you for. I was told by marcus they weigh them out and that is how they charge you. So i got the weight of 50 worms but all i got was the weight of the bedding. I would recommend going some place more accurate.

I tried to buy an Axolotl from them. They said they would order it and it would be there by that Thursday. Well I get no call, and I called them Friday. Said they didn’t get anything, but it would definitely be there by the following Thursday. So I waited. Still no call Thursday, so yet again I call them Friday. The first time a lady picks up to transfer me to someone else, but then it hangs up. I figured it was a mistake. I try call back just to find out my number is blocked. They literally ghosted me. Glad I didn’t pay for the axolotl upfront like they insisted I do.

The place is literally dripping with mold and condensation; Excellent habitat for reptiles and amphibians, not so much for kids and moms wanting to look at animals. They seem to have a great selection but it is definitely not for window shopping. I like that Clarksville has a specialty store for fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

Please dont buy anything from this store. I own many exotic animals and work at a petstore. Out of the dozens of pet stores I have been too, this place is by far the worst pet store I have EVER seen. They had 8 bearded dragons in a tank too small for even one and the tank was scolding. I touched the glass and it burnt my hands, wayyyy too hot for them. The poor beardies looked terrible. They were all dehydrated, underweight, and they ALL had metabolic bone disease. They also had all the bearded dragons on sand which is their leading cause of death. They had 6 crested geckos together which is basically asking for them to fight. Also, everything in this store was way over priced and lower quality. Please just don’t shop here. It is animal abuse.

Love this place. Has quite an assortment of reptiles, fish, coral and alot more than one could imagine. I bought my 8yr old a ball python for his 6th birthday. The snake is doing well. We but live rats to feed him for here. Great prices and willing to go the extra mile to help find and get what your needing. ANDREW has helped me alot through the years. I would recommend just stopping by at the least maybe you'll find a new pet. Scorpions, frogs, turtles, snakes, geckos, plus more. Great place.

Edit: I decided to go back in and talk to the owner and expressed my woes. He said he had issues with the associate before and would take care of said associate. Since my last unpleasant visit it seems they have stepped up there care of the animals. I spoke with another employee about one of the snakes they had and she was very informative and suggestive of the products and care i would need to give. I purchased the ball python and she is healthy. They also gave me a coupon for my first three feeder mice. I will not be back to this establishment. I brought my daughter in to look at the turtles and when we walked in there were three employees by the snake cage never looked up or greeted us . We walked by them and looked around the store. We were there for about 15-20 minutes and was never asked if we needed anything or needed help. When we were looking at the tortoises one of the employees walked between me and my daughter and we both felt as if we were a bother to him being there. The aquariums were filthy and the aquatic turtles looled to have the beginning stages of shell rot. In all honesty I would rather travel to nashville to there reptile store.

Best thing about this shop is that it smells like you are at the ocean because it obviously sells everything you need for a saltwater aquarium. They had multiple reptiles as well as tarantulas. No one greeted us when walking into the business. No one reached out to see if we needed any help over the 15 mins we were inside. When my fiance and I were looking at one of the reef tanks, an employee and other customer walked right inbetween us and what we were viewing and never said excuse me nor apologized. My first impression of this business is not very good. I don't believe cleanliness is a major concern in this store as I could see dust on sales goods... All of the reptiles and their enclosures seemed to be in decent conditions.

I walked in with 600 dollars to buy a new snake, couldn’t pick any up. Wasn’t allowed to handle them. maybe the douche that was working there just didn’t feel like working. Never going back.
