You can't complain about this restaurant. Lunch for two was only $30. It wasn't nothing to brag on but it was hot food for anyone hungry.

Terrie Collins

Best buffet around, bar none. Servers are always friendly and efficient.

Kimberly B

Unfortunately the quality of this place has gone down we travel out of town just to come to this place and they were closed after lunch for a short. Of time only to reopen back up for dinner around 4 p.m. we were there probably about 4:30 and we wanted b seafood buffet which is what they had however the catfish was not hot as were some of the other fried items so it wasn't fried fresh . I truly dislike cool fried food. We were disappointed I doubt that will be back.

Karen Glass

It's a cute store. The food is buffet style, which is ok. Mashed potatoes and gravy are packaged, but the desserts seem homemade.

Beverly Benson

Everytime we go through JACKSON we MUST STOP HERE BEST PLACE THIS SIDE OF JACKSON

Paula Scarbrough

Lends Down A Hand Benefit was AWESOME The Kids Always Enjoy Dancing❣

Carrie Boo

The Buffett is small but was well stocked with a wide variety of things. We were there for lunch at 11 and by. 12 the place was packed. They did a good job with drink refills and clearing the tables even super busy.

Sheila Harris

Omg...the cinnamon pecans and praline fudge.......so9ooo good.

Took my family here on their way back to Michigan they really enjoyed it

Nasir Cervantes

14 different veggies with good ole fashion country meats. After you get fatter than a country tick on a hound dog, you can look around a real life country store with so much memorabilia, you'll feel like you've gone back in time. Great friendly service and reasonable prices

Christina Stephens

Worst place I've ever ate at. People gawking at me while I'm trying to eat because I was dressed to go to a concert in Nashville and we stopped there on the way to eat. I had to wait for a drink and the food was nasty on top of seeing little kids put their hands in the food. I will never spend my money there ever again....

Cassandra Robb-Best

Very quaint place, comes in handy when looking to get some canned possum!

Jerry W

This was a great southern buffet. Everything was very tasty and satisfying . You definitely want to get the fried cornbread...and dumplings ...and dressing...and cobbler. Loved it.

Candy Guth

Awesome place to buy old time candy and other merchandise

Elizabeth Angus

Nice little area to stop on the road. The shop was cute and had some quality stuffed animals and some other cool apparel and jarred food for purchase. The buffet was nothing extraordinary but the food was decent and better than a fast food stop. The service was exceptional - our waitress was very nice and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were all set even if it's a buffet.

Arthur Enright

This place is on my list now any time I pass through Tennessee! The service here is where the term Southern Hospitality comes from, nothing but smiles and helpful attitudes. The food though, I would keep coming back for the blue plate special even if I had to dodge hurled insults to get it! Couldn't be more convenient to the Tesla Supercharger, is always busy and never disappoints, you have to check it out!

Darla and Friends

The buffet is very good. The service is excellent.

Brittany Touchton

I guess we went on a bad day. Everything was terrible. The food, salads, and desserts tasted awful. The ladies restroom was filthy. Toilets clogged, tissue paper all over the floor, trashcan was overflowing. Bought taffy from the store on our way out and it was all melted.

Dennis Walker

More delicious southern country cooked foods than you can eat at a time. An absolute grand place to eat country table foods.

Noel Coward

Great experience for the kids and adults alike. Good country food and great old country store experience. Hospitality was super service with a smile.

Rubby Douglas

Such a neat place with charm, good food and polite country charm

Chaplain Tamster

They do have all the old candiea that I can remeber eating as a kid however, the price is not as I remeber. In all actuality, it is more than the garbage candy that is available for this generation but, you get what you pay for.

Maryjean Rouser

I loved brooks Shaw's old country store I loved the food was good

tammy allen

3 stars because it ain't what it used to be for sure. We had breakfast buffet on Thursday morning. After tasting all of the breakfast meats, the ham was the only one worth eating. Most of the food tastes like it came straight out of a package or frozen from sysc. We had lunch buffet on Friday and most of the food seemed better. However I think it's terrible to serve instant potatoes and prepackaged gravy. I expected better from what used to be our favorite place to eat. Service was very good.

John Davis

If you are going through Jackson Tennessee this is the best place to stop. Fantastic southern style home cooking. Crackin cornbread, fried chicken, greens, sweet potatoes, salad bar, and cobblers to finish. Fun for all ages museum for the train enthusiasts as well.

Shayla Carson

Food was great with a wide selection of foods. Service with a smile and a family atosmosphere.

Jason Tilley

This place is renowned for having excellent food both at breakfast and lunch. They have an all-you-can-eat buffet and it is always loaded with good food. They also have a to-go bar over on one side of the restaurant where you can go in and pick a meat and two or three to either eat at picnic tables or take with you. Everything you get here is going to be delicious and home-cooked. This place does attract a lot of people passing through traveling as it is closely situated to the interstate so it can get busy at times. That being said, this is a very good place to eat and I would recommend it.

Stephanie George

Good food but overpriced. You have to decide amount of tip, pay it & bill up front. Then they give you cash back for amount of tip; go figure. Service was mediocre, cashier & other help not friendly or helpful.

Shelly Humfleet

I love this place. It's happier than Cracker Barrel, has a buffet, and there was people playing music. This is probably my favorite place to meet mid way with my family. The fried chicken was awesome tonight too.

Ellis Redevelopment

Good stop from highway driving. Ice cream tasted a little freezer burned. The sherbet was good.

Aimee Lawson

Thus was a really fun store with a lot of different things to look at and great gift choices for everyone to. They have many choices of fresh preserves and other foods. Its right next to a hot food place that carries more interesting souvenirs to look at. Staff was friendly and helpful, I had one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had while here and it woke me up for the rest of the day, strong but really good.

Daniel Hardy

Great friendly service with a deliciously southern buffet that will have them rolling you out the door in a wheelbarrow.

Lisa Perry

I was viting from Indiana and made sure I stopped to dine with you all the food was great esspecially the hot water corn bread and the lady cooking it

Gwen

Service was good however, the food was COLD

Michelle Tuten

Love this place and food is great. One problem is you cant stay to long to meet with family you havent seen in years. Waitresses get upset.

Christine Warrington

Unique display of country fixins'! Buffets are buffets. If you like them, you'll love this one.

James Wolobah

Great buffet. Variety of good foods. Lots of vegetables. Customer service friendly staff. Affordable price. Free refills on drinks. Free parking. Good also for kids meals. Great for family.

Keith French

Loved it ...good food and some great sweet tea and.then the country store part just speaks for its self ...if you get a chance you need to swing by there and check them out

Brian

Awesome food and store. Very friendly staff. 10 of 10 will recommend to friends and family

Chad Holgerson

Were excited to try the themed restaurant. There were several people in the restaurant so we thought it would be good. We were wrong. This had to be the filthiest restaurant we have ever experienced. The food on the buffet was cold and tasted bad. They make you pay before you get your food. Very bad experience. Do NOT eat here!

DJ Peppers

The food is absolutely delicious! We had the blue plate special (you have food choices on it.) You can also get buffet on the other side of the store. Wonderful experience!

Heather

Awe you all need to go!!! If u haven't went to dine here this is necessary. The country store is an experience in its own. Old time candy for sale yum

M.A. O'Brien

A great buffet experience. Something for everyone. Excellent service. Worth the stop and a chance to avoid fast food.

Don Hardwick

ALWAYS OUTSTANDING FOOD and such an interesting venue!

Lynn Harville

Wow true southern cooking. If you want authentic southern cooking most people have never had you must stop here and enjoy a true taste of the south. I hope my travels bring me back onto the area soon!

Savanna Kennedy

Excellent food, excellent service!! Bar well maintained. I don't think my drink ever got half empty!!! Great seating area. Best waitress I've EVER had at a buffet!! Food was fresh and plentiful!!!! Definitely somewhere to wait and stop for!!!!

Amy Brant

I wish I had a picture, but it's been remodeled in the last several months and it's very nice! The store is more open than before, and is very inviting and comfortable. I didn't buy anything this time, just stopped in for dinner, but the renovations are nice.

Wanda Harrison

I really do like going here. It is however way to pricey for us to go very often.

Diane Lindsey

This is a fascinating place. There are All kinds of things to buy there that you didnt even know you wanted. There are lots of kinds of Candy there like they had in years past like miniature wax coke bottles, multicolored coconut candy, and lots more that You will Remember. The Staff is Very Nice and Efficient in their jobs. Visit Soon, You wont regret it. GREAT FOOD TOO !!

mq1714 .

Staying at a nearby motel within walking, the wife and I decided to mosey on over to Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store for breakfast. Our 1st time being in there was a blast. It was or we choose the breakfast buffet. The setup to pay was a little different than expected. Anyway, the breakfast buffet, for us, was delicious, no doubt! Trust me, I stuffed my face with 3 plates/trips of food. Yes, it was way to much to say BUT it was worth it. The waitress limited me to 2 OJs which was odd but understandable. If I’m ever in this part of town, again, I’ll make an effort to stop in here for breakfast early an the morning.

Mary Jenkins

Great food and friendly service. Love Ms. Janice!!! She is so awesome.

Donna Easby

The food was great. The hospitality was amazing. Will be returning soon.

Gloria Leyva

Breakfast & Lunch Buffets are Great! Pricing is Affordable, Waitresses are Great!!

Charles Kemp

Great place to get home cook dinner...

Angela Hoffman

OMG! What else is there to say?? Pretty sure that chicken & fish came straight from heaven!

Amy Flowers

Every time we've ate at Brook Shaw's Old Country Store it's been delicious

Donna Knake

This is a great place to eat! The buffet is wonderful and I personally recommend the fried chicken and mashed potatoes! They also have the ice cream parlor, the gift shop and all the other little shops around them. You get a nice feeling just being there.

Debbie Stallings

Dirty and you have to pay before you sit down to eat. I would rather eat then pay. This way you can look at buffet and see if you like it or not

Willine Harris

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The service and the food was excellent.

Jackie Ingram

It was good and had lots of yummy food a d treats. We liked it a lot.

Devin Boothe

This was a great place to break for lunch on a long drive. I missed their breakfast buffet which looked delicious, but was happy to enjoy the lunch buffet instead. They also have an excellent ice cream & soda parlor, in addition to a classic country gift shop. Be short to check out the Casey Jones Museum while you're there as well!

Jean Tate

:ppuThe place was nice and clean. The food was excellent. The waitress was on point. We left a big tip.

Angela Wienecke

Super cute!! Worth a stop :) 2 ice cream cones for the kids less than $3 total.

Alice Dettman

Great little place, family loves coming here, just wish the prices weren't so high in the gift shop

Lashawn Holder

This was my and my husband's second visit and we'll be back again! Great southern food!

Caryl Judd

excellent food and service. store prices to high. Charming old time atmosphere.

Asa Denton

Great atmosphere the food was pretty good. What's up with this picture though? Made me a little uncomfortable

David Young

The quality of the food, IMHO, has declined greatly in the last several years. The black-eyed peas were undercooked (crunchy), and the meatloaf unremarkable. My wife was likewise unimpressed.

Joey Allen

Really enjoyed this place. Good old country cooking. Definitely will be back

Sasha Levage

We were pretty excited to try this place out since we read some rave reviews of the breakfast, but it was generic breakfast buffet, some of which was cold. Meh. For breakfast, coffee, and tea, it was 22 bucks before tip. There's a lot of food but it's mediocre food.

Errol Van Stralen

Shaw's has been around a long time. Good selection of the usual favorites. Someone's always frying up a dish on a center-piece grill. (Note to review readers: if _any_ review, good or bad, helps you out, please hit the thumbs up. Us reviewers will appreciate it.)

Brad Bryant

This place is EXCELLENT!!! The food is great! You will definitely not leave hungry! The all you can eat buffet is just like pulling up a chair at grandma's! Definitely the place to stop and eat when traveling through Tennessee!!

Bill Powell

This is a MUST eat and visit!! We are visiting from Florida and loved the food and atmosphere. All you can eat and had breakfast. Dont miss the chicken. Great coffee. We will be back for sure .

Stephanie Fortney

Delicious, fresh, home cooking with generous portions. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Trudy Wallis

It was excellent. Food was delicious, staff very friendly.

Travis Mays

Love the buffet. Breakfast buffet is the best.

Seymour Adabuttsyo

We went there for their Father's Day dinner. Spent $23 a person. Steak was advertised. Yet no steak was being served. We were there for over half an hour and no steak was ever put out. I was watching. Then I had to ask 3 times when they were bringing the steak out and just kept getting told it's soon coming. Well if you are cooking steak for a half hour, you over cooked it. We definitely will NOT go back here. And I would warn others from going here as well.

Marianne Campbell

The old country store has some neat souvenirs and the food is always great. Seniors Buffett is $9.99

Gray Black

It's a nice place to go and take the family to experience, but everything is just priced to high.

Patrick Shaffer

11± out of 10! Great food, buffet can't be beat. (Check the times 1st) Who wants to eat hotel breakfast when you can slather your plate with all the southern breakfast options, even fried chicken and hotcakes! This nostalgic place is where we eat if we can get a chance. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming.

lelani owens

The cornbread is too die for . . . Amazing place to eat

Charles Newell

Fried chicken was dry, attendant didnt provide me with utensils for eating my to go order. The dinner roll was the better part of the dinner. I got 2 small chicken breast and mac and cheese and corn. The corn was just about cold

Nick Gorman

Mediocre buffet that was nowhere near worth the hour-and-twenty-minute drive from Memphis. If it has to be a buffet, just stay in Memphis and go to Leonard's. If you wanna eat in an old country store, go to Cracker Barrell.

James Matthews

Food was good, service was great. Nice clean buffet

Sheila Holley

They have a wonderful buffet and salad bar. Also great desserts.

Jonathan Jordan

The food was awesome. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff did an amazing job of making My birthday girl feel special but not over done.

Michael Motley Jr

Stopped here returning from Virginia...BEST. FOOD. EVER!!! The buffet was excellent, the store nice old feeling. Whenever I go back home to Virginia, this is now my halfway stop.

Elizabeth Gould

Food was good. Art was art but weird. Other than that, I would go hungry.

Jina Waller

Service was excellent, what I got of the food was pretty darn good, atmosphere was super awesome! The restrooms were in need of some scrubbing. Major complaint; I felt it was extremely rude for them to start tearing down the buffet right at 8 pm with paying customers still eating. If they want to do that, so they can get out on time - fine, but don't allow people in past a certain time. One guy was let in with about 10 mins to shove food down his throat, and barely grab more, before removing stuff. I had planned to go up for chicken, because the meatloaf that I got wasn't my cup of tea, but hell if I'm going to be rushed to do it and eat the rest of my supper cold. Nothing like paying $42 for a meal and leaving still hungry.

LeVa Clement

It has gone downhill a bit. Not nearly as good as it was before. Had to wait for hoecakes that ended up tasteless. The chicken breast was tough. My cobbler was gummy. Overall not likely to go back. Our waitress was great though.

Lynn Chason

The food at the buffet was amazing the price was very hefty. The store is pitiful compared to a Cracker Barrel. The train museum looked interesting but was closed.

Valarie Taylor

The food was really good and the customer service was great, real nice people

Gregory Mitchell

Very nice place. My wife and I selected to eat at the buffet. My wife doesn't eat meat, and we both were fasting. We were both hoping that some bake fish would be on the buffet table but it was not.

Jack Bennett

A wonderful Southern buffet. Family owned and operated. A first class spot.

Jesse Johnson

Excellent food if you go in the restaurant, but the Dixie Cafe is pretty much hit or miss on the freshness of the food. Also the servers in the Cafe are rude sometimes.

Jose Valencia

Food is delicious. Went to the breakfast buffet and the staff was friendly and the food was great. Biscuits are fluffy and not dry. Bacons are crisp. They even have fruit for a dessert after all the breakfast food. Only thing to remember is that you have to prepay before you can actual go in and serve yourself.

Betty Johnson

Great down-home cooking, and a variety of everything you could be looking for! The food is delicious and prepared southern style, just so good! The store itself is a walk down memory lane! So full of nostalgia, as well as modern day items. So worth the visit, and I would definitely recommend this stop over to tourists passing through. It is a very popular restaurant to locals as well.

Christy Arnold

Love this place, adult buffet was $10.99 plus drink Tuesday night. I think child was $5.99

Jody Wilson

We ate til we couldn't eat any more. Good country buffet. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. Real good food and a good selection of traditional favorites. We had friend chicken and catfish. Not to mention some great cobbler. I'll definitely be back again soon. It's our new go-to place in Jackson.

Elice McNeely

Food was better than most buffets but wasn't hot. More like lukewarm

Robert Wilson

I will never eat here again, bathrooms are horrific. Ones off main dinning room locked, ones off the other room had no water. People were using them but no way to flush.makes me wonderabout the kitchen.

Gloria Jackson

Service a little slow but food was great

Kelly Avriett

OMG I am a Texan who loves southern food and I was a little hesitant when I saw that it was buffet BUT it was fabulous! Cooked with love and seasoned like your own grandma cooked it! My favorite was the catfish and na pudding. My husbands favorites were the catfish and ALL of the desserts! Highly recommend # noketo

Leigh King

Food is pretty good. Wait staff is good. The General store seems to be downsizing, as merchandise selection is very slim compared to what they once offered. The front store employees could definitely use some training and application in customer service skills. We were never greeted by anyone, and when we were ready to pay for our merchandise, we had to ask if someone could wait on us at the cash register. This is nothing like it once was.

Kristina Goodman

If you are a vegetarian that is willing to eat vegetables made with animal products/eat around the meat, you will have plenty of options! I got two, full unique plates of food. Three different types of beans, two different kinds of dark green, and a host of vegetables including a cold salad bar. However if you can't have your food made with bacon/butter/ham etc you won't find a whole lot.

Adam Kuipers

This is the best buffet I have found in the US. All scratch made and great. Definitely stop in if you have the chance. You don't want to miss this gem!

John Courtney

Eat here before but think it was a different name than ! Workers were friendly! Very crowded I think it's a tourist attraction why I don't know ! Food was fair but nothing to brag about !! Will not go back !!!

Adrian Comer

Pretty good buffet. Could use a little more variety. Only one in town. Service is great.

Christopher Wood

The food at this place is some of the best country cooking ive ever had.

B. Smith

I really like their buffet. I absolutely love the fish. One of the best meals in Jackson in my opinion.

beautiful mom love

Goood food want to go again love it

Ken H

Great southern food buffet! Got there about 2 PM on a Friday afternoon, our first visit. Parking lot was packed but we were able to get a seat in the restaurant without waiting. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Had a great meal from the buffet and then browsed the other areas of the store - fudge bar, ice cream bar, cafe (yes, there is a cafe in addition to the restaurant), and finally the store. Really get the old country general store feel while you're here. We're going to be in town for a couple days and will surely go back for more.

Wanda Bray

The Dixie Cafe is a great place to go if you don't want to go to the buffet... good selection of food

Joseph Taylor

Good food. It is easily accessible from the highway. Easy to find.

Mike Holmes

Was treated very badly by a manager...and owners tried to fallow me out side adding insult to injury ..but if you treat people like your manager did me you deserve this review..the Brookshaws dont care about anything but money..could careless about there manager assaulting there customers as there leaving because know one cared about my issue..

Daryl Stavely

My favorite place for years, great food.

Bill Wood

Food was awesome made from scratch, unlike Cracker Barrel that's made from can.

Sheila Stevenson

I visited Casey Jones with one of the church mother's and her twin sister. I always enjoy their food and it was a delight watching the Mother and her sister enjoying the different choices of food at the buffet. The Old Country Store is a good place to take your family. I visit it often when in Jackson also a number of my family members and friends stop by when traveling to Nashville ,Knoxville. The staff is always smiling, willing to help and accommodate. It's just a nice hometown place to go.

Ann Windsor

this is a very unique and historic place, the buffet is a good southern style buffet, it also has another little restaurant on the other side of that serves plate lunches and side dishes, there is an old fashioned soda fountain that serves sodas and also hand dipped ice cream, also there are as a little store that sells some very unique southern gifts. It is right in the middle of the Casey Jones museum area.

starr peterson

Cool place! Came an hour before closing and buffet looked beat up. But the ambiance was cool and the ice cream area/store was awesome.

Dave Smith

Great atmosphere with the old time decor food is not that great though.

cisco zap

The food in this location is delicious. You can pay for a buffet at lunch for 9 dollars and 11 for dinner. You will get all you can eat southern comfort food varying from Mac and cheese, fried chicken, baked chicken, collard green, baked beans, soups. They also have turkey and stuffing. The waitress are really attentive and do a very good job in paying attention to the customer needs. There are some sections of the seating area that are hotter than others due to lighting so just be worry of where you sit and look up to make sure you're not right underneath what feels like a heating lamp.

Mary Pagan

Outstanding old-timey cooking. Buffet style.

Wayne Venable

Great place to eat! The cornbread fritters aren't just a novelty, they're delicious. The buffet is perfect for picky eaters.

Chris Lovett

Really loved the atmosphere, staff and the buffet was well prepared. .Good home cooking with great fried chicken.

Jeanessa Young

Some of the best food I've ever had! I wish I'd arrived while the museum was open but the actual country store and buffet were phenomenal!

Barbara Herman

We enjoyed discovering this gem! Good comfort food buffet in a fun atmosphere. The service was efficient and friendly. We will definitely visit on our next trip through Jackson.

sandra engelhardt

Haven't been here in several years, but I don't think I'll ever return. The food isn't anything like it used to be or maybe I just remember it being better. The restaurant is different looking now and most of the Tiffany hanging lamps are gone. In their place, track lightening. Ruins the feel of the place to me. They also seem to have a serious moisture problem around several vents in the wall or they have a roof leak they aren't aware of. A lot of the seating area is now odd, unmatched tables of size and shape. I think it cut way down on how many people it can accommodate now. The buffet is still basically the same. No new choices but the same old thing. And I really wanted a salad to start my meal with, but the lettuce looked bad. It was Friday, so I enjoyed the fish fry after fresh fish was brought out. Corn, pinto beans and baked chicken were also good. That was all I was interested in. I think they used to have meatloaf, but there wasn't any the day I visited. Just not worth the stop to eat there for me.

Roy Howell

Everything you can think of to eat on the buffet! Fantastic food, absolutely delicious! All you can eat! If you are hungry it's the place to go, and shop in the novelty shop afterwards! They have a lot of nice things!

Darren Bowers

Had a meeting and lunch in one of their meeting rooms. Facility was adequate and lunch was GREAT! Good, country, comfort food. I really enjoyed it.

Randy Brisendine

Every time I am in Jackson, Tennessee, I make it a point to eat at The Old Country Store. The atmosphere is great and they have an amazing breakfast buffet. Always a 5 star visit!

Rose Rinehart

Great down home southern food. And great service

Mell M

Good eating. Buffet style. Favorite place to eat on Sundays

gloria thomas

Went in for breakfast after leaving the doctors so really hungry. The food was delicious we had the buffet. I had biscuit/gravy with sausage , country ham ( little salty for me), hash brown went back got some fresh fruit and bacon. My husband had coffee, biscuit gravy, sausage, ham, bacon, eggs, pancakes, (big hungry

Bonnie Payson

The food was okay, not like it used to be. Id hate to be a server there! They take your money before you go in. We dont all carry cash. Can you tip in advance? Who wants to tip a server before you even meet them? The sever at the ice cream parlor didnt know how to make an ice cream soda. The ice cream was icy also. It wasnt bad.... it just wasnt good.

Ricky Anderson

A great place to eat. Love the crackling cornbread. Always clean and great service. I live an hour away but love coming to Jackson to eat here.

smith eric

Food is great but the price of the buffet is ridiculous. I ordered a water to drink with my buffet and it was still over 13.00 without the tip. I like the place but not that much.

j Beale

Restrooms decent. Store didn't offer much. Restaurant/cafe look great though. Surrounding touristy stuff pretty cool. Easy quick stop to stretch legs.

Desirae Helton

I absolutely love coming here for breakfast. Every time I come to Jackson, I stop here before I head back out of town. Everything tastes amazing and it's a good price for a buffet. Delicious! I recommend stopping by and trying it out.

Carl Peterson

Food good but not a $15 lunch

M. P.

Really cool place. Neat history of the restaurant. Really liked the ice cream and fudge shop. The buffet area needed tended to with cleanliness though.

Kathy Shields

Enjoyed the atmosphere, had to get use to the layout.

wada taa

It's great for a country style buffet. The cracklin cornbread is made on an iron griddle near the serving bars. Very good homestyle atmosphere. My only complaint is their attempt at a low country boil uses frozen shrimp and is way too chewy. Everything else is spot on. Besides, who goes to western Tennessee for a low country boil? There is also an old style lunch counter reminiscent of an old country store on the other side of the building. Good food great ambiance and located right next to the Casey Jones Museum. Good food, great ambiance, fantastic location adjacent to a railroad enthusiast attraction. Oh and there are a couple of train cars that you can rent for the night across the street. I highly recommend the place.

Sterling Hampton

Great Services from my ain't mrs. Katy

Gypsy Carpenter

They have everything but moonshine. Cool little stopover. Kind of a trip through time.

Kevin Kitchens

This is an old fashioned store like Cracker Barrel. It has memorabilia in the front like old time items, hard to find candies, fudge, and ice cream. They also have a buffet area with wonderful creations; as well as itemized plates on the other side. They offer live music throughout the restaurant. Everyone is laid back and friendly. All of it is nestled in a 'back in time' train station. A must see.

Kim Bush

A little worn in decor and food average.

dawn whitaker

It was nice but they wouldn't seat u til 1045 and my mom is handicapped. Cant really stand around waiting

mark enloe

Food was good and service was good also. Really good sweet tea!

Jamie Johnson

This has been my second time here i have enjoyed everything. And the service was awesome and the food was excellent again. I leave in Marion Illinois and i will come back again.

Terri Evans

Sad and run down. I miss the great items in the gift shop, the wonderful home cooked food, and cheergul customer service. The place smelled of dead dreams and failed plans.

Remona Koop

You can get almost anything here! Reasonable prices, nice down home buffet and cafe, unusual items such as jewelry and one of a kind dolls. Located next to Casey Jones Train Museum.

Marion Rogers

The food is great and always fresh. The servers are so warm and friendly.

Paul Thomas

Fantastic buffet. Delicious food, incredible variety. We highly recommend

Fairisetta Johnson

Food was fantastic ! Everything's seasoned just right ! Took a minute to be seated but food is exceptional .

Johnathan Hundertmark

This place is must stop must see and must EAT. Southern hospitality at its finest, but in a very comfortable setting

Virginia Cole

Great food and so much to choose from that you cannot even try a fraction of what you want.

Rachel Fagan

Blast from the past, this historical store is a pleasant place of nostalgia. Fun things to see, good food to eat, friendly, open people.
