Unexpected gem, we accidentally found this place on the way to one of their competitors and bought some amazing angel fish to make later, and some fried fish sandwiches for lunch. Both were so much better than I figured. We will be going back next time we vacation in the area. Highly recommended!

Too pricey for supposedly "number 1 steamed blue crabs but were more like number 2, Out of the dozen we ordered 4 of them were half empty and full of water. One was so mushy we had to throw away. Paid $40.00 a dozen and should have only been $20.00. Not very happy with our experience. We drove from Little River to we thought to enjoy Steamed Crabs Maryland Style. Please work harder on pleasing all your customers

I was in Myrtle Beach for two weeks and Mr Fish is the only place I ate at twice. Far and away it was the best seafood we had. Mr Fish is a seafood market that also has a menu. Everything I had was locally caught and fresh. The shrimp was great, but the best thing I had was the fried flounder.

My husband I visited Mr. Fish for their blue crabs and we found them to be very tasty. We are from Maryland so our standards are high. They did a great job. We had their #1 Male crabs. They were heavy and meaty and well seasoned. The price was good too. We also had spice shrimp which were very good as well. We visit Mrytle beach every year around the same time and we will be sure to visit Mr. Fish again. We highly recommend them to anyone who likes blue crabs.

This place was decent. The salmon tasted like canned salmon. The Lima beans were cold but good. The check was unbelievable, around 75 dollars. The food is not worth the price. Also when I got shrimp tacos the lettuce was not chopped up and I got three pieces of tomatoe. And the salsa tasted like jar salsa. In addition to that there was no sides with my tacos. In all this place was horrible. I don’t suggest anyone go here.

Decent fish market with some prepared food. Limited choice. They had a few tables that you can eat. The fish steaks were a little expensive. The fish looked fresh but the shell fish I'm not sure. It's good to have this market at this location. Mostly restaurants around. They are reopening the restaurant too.

We brought friends here for lunch and it was Fantastic!! The seafood is so fresh and they now serve lunch!! I would recommend this for anyone who wants an excellent fish lunch. It is off to the side of the fish market so it is very casual. We loved it!

We came from the mid-west for an authentic experience. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing and we were treated so kindly. Chad was our server and we cannot rave about him enough! Our 10 and 11 year old girls decided to share an order of lobster. They were a little out of their league when it came to removing the inedible bits (as were the adults at the table). Lucky for us, Chad swooped in and gave us all a tutorial! Best server ever. Thank you all at Mr. Fish for the wonderful dining experience.

This is by far the best place to purchase seafood in MB. The staff is fantastic, always providing samples and ice for keeping your fish purchase fresh on the way home. I have purchase all kinds of fish, always fresh. The owner (manager) smokes fish also. On my latest visit I tasted their blackboard special fish stew. Yummy. I purchased a container of the sea bass stew and the tuna chili. Fantastic!!! I am impressed with the innovative fish recipes they produce this year, along with the fresh variety of fish available to cook at home. You have the option of having then cook for you, the item you pick out. As a local, this is a long over due market needed in our area. Fresh fish to purchase and cook yourself and cooking services provided for those who want it. And with a great staff!!

Some of the best seafood around. My family vacations in Myrtle Beach every year and we always look forward to the shrimp and other fish selections that have always been top notch. We like to get them to steam the shrimp with there version of old bay and take it back to our hotel and sit on the balcony watching the ocean.

The seafood is excellent. We ate in the shop. They streamed our jumbo shrimp with our choice from 3 different seasonings. We chose Cajun. It was amazing! We also had gumbo. I have Cajun relatives and assure you this is among the best gumbo out there. Atmosphere is extremely relaxed and unpretentious. We came here while on our honeymoon and are glad we did!

The only issue I have is; where is the 6th star for this review? I've been coming here for a couple months now and I have to say Its become my favorite. I find myself even going there 2 times a week! The staff will take care of you, the food............its amazing, and the beer is at a very decent price for the beach. All food is fresh(hence the 'seafood market') and its second best from catching and cooking seafood yourself. I really have to give the staff a shout out, they kept the place open 30mins after it was to close. We didnt realize it at the time that we were a half hour over but they didnt bother us one bit. The customer service here is just stellar and I hope the owner realizes the good staff he has and the lengths they stretch to make Mr. FISH A SUCCESSFUL seafood market/restaurant.

Did not know what to expect when my son wanted us to meet him in MB for lunch at a seafood market!! Boy, am I glad he suggested it! Wednesday is the crab special...crabs are $2.00 with a minimum order of six. These were not small, mealy crabs...these were big, fat juicy ones steamed in Old Bay. Delicious!! We ordered hush puppies to go with and my husband ordered the fish sandwich. It had cheese and bacon, came with coleslaw. He said it was one of the best he's had! The market did not smell fishy and the wait staff/counter workers were awesome! They were very busy, but also attentive to our needs. We did not have to wait long for our food order. Do not leave without trying the dessert...two fried crunchy chocolate chip cookies with ice cream wedged between the layers, and the most delicious raspberry sauce drizzled over the top. Big enough to share and is so yummy! We will be back!!❤️

My son and 2 grandchildren were looking for a local place to get great seafood lunch on Saturday, November 17. We were not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was great picking out our own fish and shrimp and picking the preparation. It was the best grouper we have ever eaten. Even the 8 year old grandson loved it. We stopped back by after tourist stuff to pick up crabs and crab cakes for dinner. Would highly recommend this place and will be back when we return to the beach.

Prices are a little high in the area but I mean they're in line with everybody else. You're in a resort town so I guess that's why prices are a little high. All the fish the shrimp and the lobster tails that we got were really good nice and fresh cooked up exactly the way you want to. They also have a restaurant right on the side and they will cook up anything fresh right there while you wait plus a bar and tap.

We got some really nice pieces of fish and his prep recommendations made the fish turn out perfectly. I'd gladly go back and repeat that meal.

Fresh fish! This seafood market has a great selection of seafood that is transported and stored correctly. They also have a restaurant where you can choose the fish/seafood and have it prepared for you on their restaurant side.
