This place has amazing seafood. Definitely recommended, you won't be disappointed. But if you're going during the summer or other popular vacation times you should call the day before to make a reservation. Walk in wait time can be an hour or two.

Scallops were great. I've never seen such little fish bites they literally mean a bite. Seafood chowder is tastless.with little to no seafood. their hot sauce for the fish is just way too hot and unpleasant

Loved the menu and the variety it contained, as well as the food that we ordered. There's pretty much a meal for everybody (the lobster pot pie looked hearty and delicious), and the food comes with bread as an appetizer. My meal (mahi-mahi stuffed with crab and topped with a zesty sauce) was very good (grits were outstanding and the fish was cooked just right with outstanding sauce) but a little small on portion size. However, my dad ordered the steam pot for a similar price to my mahi mahi, and got a fantastic deal (lot of quality food, he told me), and my brother ordered crab legs, which were pretty good. Quite tasty, and overall decent portions. We had to wait a little, but the restaurant was slammed and did a fantastic job of seating and feeding us as quickly as possible. There's a bar out back, a small park outside the restaurant, and cornhole to play as well as photos of the marsh to be taken (great view outside the restaurant). Great experience.

Dinner, presentation and service was very good, nice menu. Great for a nice variety of seafood which can be prepared a few different ways. Front bar area was also nice but the main dining area was very loud and unappealing. Back dining room was quieter and there is outdoor dining and bar as well. Will return.

This place is an essential visit if you enjoy fresh and high quality seafood. Portion sizes are well-worth the price, especially if you catch the Early Bird Special. The service was very efficient with an accommodating and personable staff. They care about making sure the plate is how you want it. You also have an excellent marshland view to enjoy while eating. I’m looking forward to coming back soon and should take the time to come here and eat as well.

Worst meal I ever had don't ever order any oysters there. Sick as a dog an hour later. To be fair my friends all had the lobster pi and we're very happy with it. But I'm by the side of the road throwing up after we had to stop so I could get rid of the runs. God I hope I get it out of my system soon

I ordered an early bird entree--Flounder with fries and grilled zucchini. The fish was overcooked, very dry and veggies were undercooked and I had difficulty cutting through them. To be fair, l should have sent the meal back and ordered something else. My husband had the early bird crabcake and baked potato w slaw & he enjoyed the meal. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and it's always been a good dining experience. Their lobster pot pie is my favorite. We will dine at Hot Fish again but no fried fish for me! Please don't serve undercooked veggies.

My mom order a flounder platter, on her plate was 3 pieces of small fish 2 small hush puppies a small potato and coleslaw for 18 bucks and change. Her plate did not look like a platter at all. She tasted her fish she said it tasted like cod fish

Food is great, but the table management is awful. Arrived at 6, told 45 min wait, by 7:30, was still 30-45 min wait. Just poor service. We would have been fine if someone told us it was a 2 hour wait, but we consistently got bad information from the hostess. We literally asked multiple times about the wait and were told 30 minutes. Checked in at 6, finally got a table notification at 8, had already left and gone somewhere else. I’m never coming back here, a lot of better options on PI.

It was delicious! We had a nice table overlooking the marsh. My husband had fried shrimp platter and I had shrimp in lemon butter over angel hair. The portions were generous. Wait staff was awesome. I recommend making reservations. It is a busy place.

Good service and menu options. This was my second visit and was a little disappointed in a couple things. I ordered the inlet mule which is described as served with mint sprigs and powdered sugar and a lime. My drink had none of these garnishes. I ordered the lobster pot pie and the taste and topping was great, but I just couldn't find any lobster in it. There was tiny shrimp and scallops as advertised, but very little lobster if any. Another in our party had some type of combo dish with shrimp, flounder and oysters. All was good except flounder was mushy when I tried it. I like the outdoor area and atmosphere of this place, so I'll give it another go in the future.

Had the Cobia for the first time... Cooked firm with spicy sauce... Ribs were fall off the bone... Was real good came with a nice side of rice, corn and fries...had a coupon for the restaurant which was responsible for our visit... Definitely will be back... Make reservations because we waited 45 minutes

Food: I loved this place. I felt that everyone who visits Myrtle Beach should go to this place. Every thing we ordered were really good. We have Low Country Steam Pot (the best), Crab Legs Pot, Blackened Red Snapper, and Shrimp Platter. Apparently, the Low Country Steam food originated in this county. 5/5 Price: This is not a cheap place by definitely wroth your every single penny. 5/5 Service: Initially we were told that waiting will be an hour, but we decided to seat at the patio. Our server seemed very knowledgeable, and he was fast as well. 5/5 Environment: We sat outside so the patio table was sticky, but the view of the Inlet was very relaxing. Plus there is a live music at this place. The performer even sang a french song which was kind of cool. 5/5 Overall, I would definitely advice people to try this place. Don't waste your time at the downtown or the north beach.

What a great experience! Got there on a Sunday night around 7pm to an hour and a half wait for a party of 4. We decided to drive down the main drag to kill some time and then headed back to the restaurant. The bar and waiting area are extremely spacious and very family friendly. I ordered the stuffed Mahi Mahi and the wife got the blackened red snapper. They were both out of this world! The lobster risotto was incredible. You Ansley can't go wrong here and I promise it is worth every minute you may have to wait to eat there.

Was recommended to come here for seafood as it was one of the best seafood restaurants around. Staff was pleasant and nice, atmosphere nice as well. Maybe my expectations were set too high but the food was mediocre at best. We arrived with a group of 5 so we each had something different. The fried calamari was awful - Chewy and luke warm. The pan seared scallop app was a little better but the luke warm temp turned us off a bit. The best meal by far was the Lobster pot pie. Hot, tasty and well made. Crab Cakes were average, nothing special. Again the temperature of the food was disappointing. The Grouper was very good, Red Snapper ok. While the food was not awful it really was average at best.

Worth the wait! Had no reservations, but the staff was willing to seat us in 30-40 mins. We wanted inside dining, but could've eaten at the bar or the 'gazeebo' instead.waited it out, got the backroom..scenic & quiet! Our waitress,Michelle was friendly & courteous giving us menu tips &great service! The Lobster &seafood pie was truly delicious and reasonably priced. Desert & coffee was a must, had the pecan pie and the banana foster smaller portions but yummy! We've eaten at many on the Murrell's Inlet strip, this is one of the best! My advice call ahead, get there early.

We dined here twice; Alex was our server both times. The fresh grouper with veggies and potato. The food is fresh and the chef us creative with ingredients and flavors. Second night we tried scallops and a few appetizers like sampler and mushrooms. The owner, Cindy, is on board and checks in with guests thoughout restaurant.

Less crowded and noisy compared to the Marshwalk restaurants. That is enough for me. This place has everything. The food is great, they have a great area outside for waiting, a huge music venue for after dinner drinks, a walkway on the water, and probably more stuff I didn't see. We eat here every time we go on vacation.

This was my third visit to Hot Fish and the food and service was as good as the first and second time. Had the she crab soup which was very flavorful and full of chunks of crab. Had the lobster pie which was excellent. I Reserved our table through Open Table App the day before our reservation. The App was easy to use and very convenient. Overall, Hot Fish will always be one of my "go to" eateries in Murrells Inlet.

This was our first trip to the Hot Fish Club. Service was excellent and the food was even better! The Oysters Rockefeller was a little different than some I've had, but still quite good. The fried flounder was probably the best I have had in the Myrtle Beach/ Calabash area. My wife had the chicken fried chicken and was also delicious. The ham and onion gravy that came with it was good, but was lacking a little in ham taste. The garlic butter that came with the rolls was out of this world. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the MB area.

Food was excellent. Sadly I had to ask for silverware. Then waitress asked if my husband needed another beer when food came, and he said yes and didn't get it. We has to ask a 2nd time. But again food was amazing but our appetizer of scallops was cold. Other than that we were ok. Not sure if I would come back though. We had to break bread and dip it in butter cause we didn't have any silverware again.

Better than expected. I got their world famous Lobster pot pie with turned out to be very delicious. A family member liked the Cobia fish which was served with black beans. Don't get filled up on their homemade rolls of which are melt-in-your-mouth! Even though it's at the far end of Murrells Inlet, it is well worth the drive. We are looking forward to the expansion into the next door property as well.

One of the better seafood places in Murrells Inlet. May cost a bit more than surrounding places but it’s worth it for the seafood. Great shrimp and oysters. Fried okra is a great side. Large menu with a lot of variety, would like to try a lot of it. This gazebo bar is also very cool.

Didn't take her long to say" this is my new favorite place". I went almost ten years ago and fell in love with the place. Been busy for a couple years and haven't made it back. Absolutely loved the food and service. Problem was... I asked for one of the IPA beers on draft for $5.00. The server came back and said they were out of that beer. So I asked for another beer that was not on tap and was$3.00 more. I asked the server since they were out of my original request of the beer on tap, could she please charge me for the tap beer. Didn’t work! Really not right.

Visited Myrtle Beach for their Fall Rally Bike Week and the Murrells Inlet is the place to go. Our crew likes to enjoy the water view so we hunted for the perfect restaurant. We definitely found a stunning view, with true southern hospitality and charm. And the food wow! The four of us ordered four different meals and they were all perfectly delicious! Not a single bite left. The photos of the food taste as good as it looks. Would definitely go back.

The prices are common to the area but their bar drinks are way over priced for what you get!! The early bird specials are small so don't expect to get full. Desserts are decent but who puts cherry drizzle on key lime pie? I guess that's supposed to constitute the 6 bucks they charge for it. I am a local and this is a great place for tourist!

Our first-ever visit did not disappoint. Broad menu with plenty of appetizers, soup, salads, and a wide variety of seafood and non-seafood entrees. Prices are moderately high, but not touristy, and they offer wine, beer and mixed drinks. Alex was terrific with our party, knew the menu, was very attentive to our table and was genuinely friendly. We had some picky eaters, and they loved the food. Need I say more?

So glad we made reservations! This place was busy on a Tuesday. The food, service, and view was amazing! Beautiful views of the marsh. The restaurant backs up to a small memorial park for those who are lost at sea. We enjoyed walking around the park after our dinner. We found out there is a small play ground behind the restaurant as well. If we were locals, Hot Fish Club would be our spot! Live music on the gazebo overlooking the marsh could not be more perfect. We were recommended to come here by a friend, and we want to return the favor by recommending everyone to come here!

Over the years I've eaten at most of the restaurants in the Inlet and Hot Fish Club is my favorite. Great Service and always been very happy with the Menu. I had the Filet with Scallops with lumps of crab meat. It came with mash potatoes and spinach. The filet was cooked to perfection and scallops melted in my mouth. My wife ordered the Hot Fish Trio and enjoyed her dish. You can never go wrong at Hot Fish Club.

If you are looking for seafood this is the place. Casual dining with good views. Excellent choices. I had the grouper tacos I could not finish the portion was so large. My bride had she crab soup and tuna. She was happy.

Had reservations, so no wait for a table on a busy Friday evening. I don't think wine list at table was as large as online list - but we enjoyed a nice choice. Grouper Fingers were our appetizer and they were yummy. I had grilled flounder and it was good. My partner had a Mahi fish dish with crab and grits that was so very good. Oh wow. I'll get that next time. Dessert was a slice of Key Lime Pie. Service was good. Food came out quickly. Reasonable bill.

We came here in 2018 and returned in 2019 and it didn't disappoint. Some of the freshest seafood. Had the charbroiled grouper with lobster risotto cooked to perfection. Lobster Mac and Cheese bites delicious appetizer. Piping hot bread is a staple of this place. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Service was outstanding as always. Will return again. Also great picturesque area out back for selfies galore after enjoying a great meal and seafood dining experience extraordinaire.

Hot fish club has always been our go to vacation date night spot. The super steam pot or steamer sampler being our favorites but everything we’ve had is great. Tonight was extra special because the service was above and beyond restaurant standard. Becky was our server and was personable, knowledgeable, and very prompt. She had all the answers to our many questions and had great recommendations. Thank you Becky for adding something special to our favorite spot!!

Amazing place! Amazing food, great service and atmosphere etc etc! Such a fun place to have a bite to eat and drink. The music is good and the food is fantastic. They have a GREAT play area for the kids and lot's of things to see in the water on the marsh. Kids had a great time. It is perfect for a family. I am also vegan and they made me an incredible dish of pasta with the most incredibly seasoned veggies. Highly recommend this place. We went twice we loved it so much!
