Pamela Rodgers

The ambiance is great. Our seafood was delicious but we were disappointed in the hush puppies.

Ann Fishburne

Food is good, not excellent but atmosphere is fun!

Patsy Stanley

Awesome place to eat. Great food, server (Brooke) was fantastic. Bloody Mary was off the chain good.

Nina Gamble

If you are pickle lover than you must try their fried pickles they are the best and the sauce it came with was really good. If you order the pickles than I recommend ordering something light like a salad or soup or something because they give you a lot of them. I order a side of fried pickles and a fried shrimp with fries and was so much food I felt bad for wasting it. The shrimp and fries were really good. Also, my grandmother ordered one of their soups and she really enjoyed it. They also have a great salad. I love what they did with the place. The staff was very friendly and well mannered. Excellent service was a little bit crowded. It was crowded on the weekends but the view is lovely and relaxing. If you are in town I recommend eating here! Plus also if you don't like a crowd I would not recommend going on a weekend and if you do go early the early the better.

Joshua Pape

The shellfish tower was very delicious and our server Melody was awesome!

Kimberly Thompson

Food was phenomenal! I had the fish and chips- flounder was very fresh. My husband who grew up in Florida said their shrimp was the best he'd ever had! Oysters on the half shell were really great too. Our server, Sarah was really sweet and helpful- telling us about the food and where it was from. Absolutely recommend this place- atmosphere was beautiful!

Dario Bowers

The seafood pasta was amazing! My love had the shrimp boil and no complaints, nor any type of leftovers on her plate

William Crumpton

Very good. Service was outstanding.

Keon Luvit

Great Atmosphere. Good food. Limited selection of beer. Wasn't crazy about the crab cakes it seems to be more stuffing little crabmeat mixed in Won't order again. But great location. Good service

Jason Turner

Atmosphere was great the restaurant looks really nice. The service was only so-so. The quality of the food was really good. But, when I pay $24 for a seafood combo I kind of expect more than six shrimp, one piece of fish, a few oysters, a few less scallops, and some over done fries.

Joe Staton

Consistently good. Would like a little more non-sandwich selections, but quality food and great service!

Lynn Grizzard

Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and service was fast. I would definitely recommend this place to all seafood lovers.

Mark

Great place with awesome views!! It would be hard to find a place like this anywhere else. The outside bar was packed so a regular mentioned that there is also a bar inside. I recommend going to this one if the outside one is packed. I got my drinks from in there and just brought them outside. The bartender was amazing!! Just a note that they do not have beer on tap but not a big deal for me. I will for sure be stopping anytime I am in Port Royal.

Stephen Ballard

Great food. Never disappoints

Ashleigh Mangas

Our food was excellent, so was the waitress. As we were leaving, the MANAGER was smoking a cigarette with 2 busboys LEANING on my husbands truck. As we were walking up they were leaning, we got closer and he locked it with the keys, and that’s when they backed off. As we got to the truck my husband asked what they were doing. They didn’t say sorry, just tried playing it off. Our first time there, and we will never be back. For the manager to be there hanging out with them is asinine. We called as we were leaving, and that’s how we found out it was the manager. He came on the phone and tried lying saying he was telling them to stop. He never said a word and was joking around the entire time with them. I can’t believe the lack of professionalism and disrespect for people’s belongings.

Bret Miller

Good food and friendly staff. Nice setting overlooking the water and boats.

Jason Ricketts

Wonderful atmosphere, outside seating available. When you walk in the front door you smell fresh cedar with a spacious dining area. The service was prompt with a menu that provided dining for any palette.

Ted Brockman

Great food, fantastic service. amazing view

Ann Delmore

Beautiful view from screened outside porch. Food is delicious and service great. Fried green tomatoes are fabulous.

Lois Abbiate

Customer service tonight was above and beyond. Fish camp did the right thing by us.we will tell all our friends to visit and try the best local shrimp .Thanks fish camp for an awesomely wonderful evening.

David Sanchez

Great family restaurant but get there early because it gets full quickly. Good food and reasonable prices. By the way if you like crab cakes, it is actual lump crab meat...nothing is faked here. Especially not the cocktails. It's a clean and bustling restaurant but the quality of the food is good. Service was prompt and friendly and accommodating.

Julie Breeze

Delicious! Fun atmosphere with an amazing view. Great food, kind staff, our waitress (Kori D) helped my friend and I narrow down our selections and made wonderful recommendations. Large portions too!

Jesse Swick

Not bad but I was rather disappointed. I had been hearing so many great things about it and it just didn't live up to the hype. The service was fantastic however. My disappointment was definitely in the menu selection and portion sizes which were pretty small. Jalapeno hush puppies were very good and so was calamari. A bit pricey in my opinion for what you get. I don't mind paying more for a great meal, but I do mind when I am left feeling unsatisfied.

swedish girl

Place was decent. No real fancy seafood like lobster. (Sorry I confused this place with Lady's Dockside)

J. Sides

Awesome! Top notch service. Great food. Great view. Great brew - Westbrook Gose Sour brewed in Mt Pleasant, SC. Sour and Salty! Had the flounder stuffed with crab and spinach. Also try the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese.

Todd Sander

Great atmosphere and views. Solid craft beer list and excellent assortment of local and imported seafood. Will definitely be back

brandon phillips

Unique for sure. Oyster bar with an outdoor patio neighboring a boatyard. Food is good, packed house quite often. Great selection of seafood, I enjoy it when I go, I encourage you to as well.

John Allen

I used to come here when it was Dockside. Its went downhill. Mentioned to management about flies on the outside deck and got an unfortunately instead of some sort of concern. Truly disappointed in the staff and the food. Had a steak and it only tasted like some fake charcoal singe. No other flavor what so ever....#saddened

Toni Meyers

Disappointed in appetizers but fried shrimp. Steak sandwich delicious.

Vivian Turner

My new favorite.... great atmosphere. Good food.

Lakesha Boyle

Very beautiful place. We thought it would be a nice place to try as we brought out of town guest to share the experience. But we found hair in the food. Went for brunch and the food was just ok. I expected more for the price we paid. $103 for 3 kids meals, 1 sandwich, 1 omelette and one lunch special. I could have bought groceries for the week. I expected to be wowed. Especially since this restuarant replaced a Beaufort favorite, Dockside after it unfortunately burned down. Sorry I think I'll stick to Dockside. But hey try it for yourself. You may have a better experience.

sarah bradford

Amazing! Food is delicious, friendly service, beautiful view!

Lisa Porter

Fish tacos were da bomb! Wonderful server. Definitely going back.

T Park

1st and foremost ClairBear made our visit amazing . Attentive, warm, relaxed and charming. I had the basket with flounder, shrimp, oysters, coleslaw and fries. It was really good! I never finish everything when eating out but I came pretty close with this meal.

Michael McMahon

First time to visit. Great service by miss Merry ,and the food was spot on. Beautiful location and they even put the end of the NASCAR race on for me! I would definitely recommend them if you love real local seafood!

Joyce Frusterio

great atmosphere. great staff. great food.

Melissa Driscoll

Disappointed. I am not sure who is training the staff but they need to revisit that. We were there last night. We had appetizers to dessert. The waitress did not remove one dirty dish the whole time and I had to keep asking for water refills. When we had our restaurant I explained and trained our staff to clear dishes even if it is not your table. If you are on your way into the kitchen grab something along the way. There were at least 2 hostesses right next to us. How about taking turns walking the porch and asking the customers how things are and grab a dish, fill a glass. Work as a team. Anyone can stay home to eat. You go out for the food and to be waited on and the customer should feel like they are not intruding. I watched the service at other tables. Management, get that quick 15 meeting in with your staff before lunch/dinner begin to remind them how important they are and the customers are. Melissa Driscoll Beaufort

carol burroughs

Awesome....great food, views and service..

Melissa Hunt

We loved Fishcamp! Definitely will do back. My husband and I spent a date night there while on vacation and the atmosphere was fun. Food was amazing.

Anthony Manley

First time I went I had the Mahi sandwich. Best piece of fish I've ever eat. 2nd time I had the stuffed flounder with risotto. Flounder was very good. Risotto NOT so much. Still HIGHLY recommend Fishcamp. Great atmosphere, very good service....

Duane Hooper

Good food with beautiful views of the water. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Seafood was good and reasonable priced. My only complaint was the iced tea was somewhat weak. Can be busy so I would recommend making a reservation for dinner.

Destiney Graham

Crabcakes with polenta...amazing! Super creamy!

Timothy Getz

Catch-of-the-day mahi-mahi was as fresh as you can get, and spiced and blackened just right Rum/OJ/pineapple drink very good but overpriced at $9. Server very attentive. Friendly.

Melissa Bliley

Meh at best. Called from the packed parking lot asking how long the wait was for 2 people. None says the phone operator. Walk from the car to the desk & discover a 10 minute wait. Seated in a louder area of the restaurant. She crab soup had a roux that had far too much flour & not cooked long enough. Abysmal king crab legs that were mush and practically impossible to open without proper tools (not provided). Imported or washed with Clorox shrimp in the seafood "saffron" risotto. Clue: the yellow is from turmeric, not saffron. This was our third, and definitely final time there. Have at Ohioans!!!

Ginger Penniston

Best Happy Hour spot in Beaufort! The food is great, but the customer service is even better! Katie and Ed, bartenders at the outdoor bar, take excellent care of their customers.

Wendy Marietta

Do not even like fried seafood, but this was the BEST! Incredible service as well.

Makayla Smith

I honestly wasn't expecting this restaurant to be so beautiful inside. I was very impressed with how beautiful and clean this restaurant was. The food was a little more fancy than what I'm used to eating (I'm more of a French fries type of girl) but it was still very good. Every one of the workers that talked to us were very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a great experience at this restaurant and I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Sarah Watts

Service was exceptional, food above average but the live music and the views make it a must do. Don't miss it!

Jason Foster

Amazing food, excellent service, spectacular view with off the chart live music. A MUST!!!!!

Paula Power

Picturesque dockside dining. Simple yet tasty menu selections, helpful hostess, servers, and kitchen staff. Consistently good!

Matt Barnes

Food is good. Limited menu, fairly pricey for what it is. You come here for the atmosphere which is shrimp dock, palm trees, great oaks and sunsets. Beautiful.

ashar saeed

My stomach was upset after earing there. There food was delicious though.

Anthony Deshaies

Always impressive.... one of the compliments I can give is the food is always consistent with taste.....

Brandon Thompson

Really good specials but small portions

Mary Beth Carlisle

Food was incredible. Surf and Turf Burger was so awesome!! Service was great and the atmosphere was fabulous

Jef Wright

We sat outside and it was really nice even though it was humid.i had he shrimp and grits but the waitress didn't tell me they were out of the fried green tomatoes that are supposed to be on the bottom. It was quite a bit spicier than I'm used to but had a good flavor (that I tasted all night). It was a great experience all in all. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well.

Cory Evans

Excellent food and service. Will be our top restaurant in the area.

GRACI FINKLE

Loved the porch bar...except for the overbearing fly’s. Food selection service and cocktails all good. Fried Oysters yum

John Fields

They were very busy but had live music on the deck. We enjoyed music and drinks while we waited. They got us in quicker than expected. I had Tuna and it was excellent and a large portion. There is so much to choose from on their menu. The atmosphere was good and the scenery was excellent!!

Chan

I really loved the oysters and I loved the view! The food, view and place was great! Hope I can come again!

Barbara Codd

5 people ordered a variety of sandwiches and all had burnt, not grilled bread. So bad that we all had to discard the bread. Calamari was soso... sauce was very good. Guess we should have sent sandwiches back, but we were on a tight schedule. I love their view. This was my 4th visit to Fishcamp. Not a fan of pretzel bread either. Best bet...crab cakes.

Jennifer Swanger

Lovely outdoor seating. Good service. Very good food.

Pamela Thessen

We did not enjoy our experience. The hostess wasn't too friendly and the waiter acted like working there was the last place he wanted to be. When my husband asked for the salad dressing options he told him "they are on the menu". The tea was instant, which should not even be a thing in the south. The restaurant was so cold, I had goosebumps the entire meal. We were hurrying just to get out of the cold a/c. The food was just ok. My ceasar salad was decent, but the crab cake on top was burned black on one side. My husband wasn't impressed with his meal either. Our ticket was $70 for one entree, one salad, and 2 fountain drinks. I do not recommend.

Moi Wee

From 1-10, food is about 7 but sometimes 6. Depending on what you order. The mussels are the best. Fresh and tasty. The seafood platter is over priced and is ok. But great casual atmosphere and when you can get a window or outside table. The sunset is sublime...

Chris Montgomery

Beautiful views, refreshing breeze, and amazing seafood with great service filled with smiling faces. Visible history turned present day with shrimp boats, yes like Bubba Gump, just 30 yards from the screened back porch we ate on. Fun games, including corn hole, just out front to entertain you while you wait on a table.

Justin Keating

The special today was fresh caught swordfish!! Amazing! That and the soup of the day was just absolutely off the map! My wife had the fried shrimp and our 2 year old tried and ate both our dishes! Great food and even better service! The views are awesome also!

Caryn Desmond

Over here on vacation from the UK and had dinner at this lovely restaurant. Food was great, i had the seafood risotto which was very tasty. Service was excellent and our server was very attentive and friendly. The view from the deck is awesome and we watched the sun go down. Would definitely recommend.

Courtney Brockbrader

The single best food I've had in the lowcountry! Everything from the service, the cocktails, apps, to entrees are the reason we will be back time and time again. Bravo y'all, you're setting a great example!

Ron Andrews

Was a steady customer to the previous 11th St Dockside and was always happy with the meals. Tonight was a different experience. Prices are higher while the quality of food was less than what was expected. Fish was dry and over cooked. No bread or corn fritters offered. Beautiful restaurant and wait staff was attentive but for our group of 12 it’ll be a “once and done” experience. Too bad.

Emily Smith

One of the best lunches in years! Highly recommend to all and C. J. Was wonderful! Will definitely be back next week

Mabel Hom

Food was okay, price was okay & the view was very good . The server was very busy....had too many tables. Could not easily get her attention.....she tried to give good service but she/ he was overwhelmed with customers. .....

Bonnie Connolly

Lovely setting, good service, but almost everything has green pepper in it, which I can't tolerate.

jasmine

The atmosphere and service was awesome. However, two of the four meals that we ordered were not cooked well at all. Ordered the salmon patty blt which was a very dry and tasteless dense hockey puck. Also, we ordered the daily special fish sandwich which was also very dry and inedible. The waitress was happy to exchange my sandwich for the grilled oysters but although they were pretty tasty they were embarrassingly small! another thing that annoyed all at the table was the portion size of fries given as a side. I would say all in all I would try it again... The location in Hilton head was so much better. I just hope they can get someone in there that won't overcook fish kinda important and redo your salmon patty... Yuck!

John Kellum

Had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting. Grouper tacos were great. Crab cakes are my wife's favorite. Angel gave us great service. Wonderful waterfront setting. Our experience here was just as good as the Fishcamp on Hilton Head island. Great place for food and fun.

Diane Na

Stopped for a late lunch of fish tacos. Blackened seasoning was fantastic. In-house made cole slaw was a great choice.

Michele Green

After a lengthy wait (we were a party of 14), we got our drinks and food pretty quickly. Both were awesome! The food was great (I had the seafood pasta), and the mixed drinks came in a jar and were nice and cold and very tasty. Overall, our experience was pretty good even the prices were good for what we got. Nice waitress, friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant for great seafood and service!

George Decker

Was a nice place to eat food was great and all the staff was too

Carmen Ehret

Great and fresh! The Seafood tower was delicious. Their calamari and pickles we're very good and the parmesan crusted Grouper was so good I scraped the plate clean!

Wildwood Farm

Great service. If you like Bloody Mary's get one on Sunday!

Myra Inman

Great place, with views and awesome food and service by Merryn M. She was very friendly, informative, made you feel welcomed. Tonight's special was baked snapper with cheesy grits, asparagus. Yum

Chris Mclean

Sat out on the screened patio where we enjoyed a crabcake and shrimp & grits. Sarah N was a lovely, attentive serve. The peach Moscow mule was light and refreshing.

Christopher Rushton

The grouper was awsome. Only real down side is lack of options on the menu. Also they only have blackened catfish and not fried.

Carlos Terry

The views are incredible and the service was fast and friendly. The patio was inviting and there were more than enough heaters to keep us comfortable as there was a slight chill as the wind blew in off the water. The food was great. The only complaint was that the mashed potatoes were not whipped as they were described on the menu. Other than that everything was seasoned nicely and tasted great. Will definitely be returning.

Fred Lanning

Great food, very nice restaurant. Love the new parking lot.

Genie Thompson

Atmosphere and ambiance with the water view, sunset, storm clouds and the beauty of the building and patio area itself was perfect. The 'recreation' area to relieve the anxt of waiting, a clever idea. Although we had made a reservation for our party of 12 and sent the obligatory person to hold/verify that we were indeed there and serious about waiting, after about 45 minutes we checked about our being seated and we were told by the hostess that we had been called 5 times (by phone) (although we were in the patio area and the recreation area) and that our reservation was cancelled. Turns out the number being called was not our number. The manager was consulted by the hostess and we were seated within a few minutes. Food tasty and fresh, server efficient and friendly, prices slightly high for portion size. We were visiting for Marine Corp graduation so most likely will not be in the area again, but your professionalism and attentive responses to the reviews is the mark of a successful business. All the best to you.

Ted Hallman

Great food. Really fast service! Big thumbs up!!

Greg Marcy

Very nice place! Great atmosphere! Great seafood! Wanted to find some good seafood before we headed out of town after a Hunting Island camping trip. Fishcamp was perfect! Children and Dog friendly too while remaining classy. Nice job guys!

Anne Chappee

Everyone cleaned their plates. Great views. Our corner was very warm. Filet mignon was delicious. Oysters looked great and all desserts were eaten.

Jacob Strong

Great food and service. Very reasonable prices for seafood! No complaints here.

Lori S.

Excellent all around! Very nice and relaxing location. Great variety on the menu with fresh ingredients. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Don't miss out stopping by!

Richard Hamilton

Excellent seafood. Fresh as the shrimp boats on the docks outside. New facility. Friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Extensive craft beer offerings.

Edie Lamar

Fried shrimp was exceptional. Have eaten shrimp all over the country and think this was among the best. Our waitress (Brooke) took great care of us.

Florilee Jowers

The view is great reason I only gave it a 3 was the food I ordered the fried seafood maybe this is just not one of their specialties

Chris Harrell

Right on the water great views. Drinks and lunch on the patio, music and great service. This is a must when in the area.

Aaron Holland

Awesome location and scenery. Food was good. Service was great.

Mary Lynn

Our family used the beautiful Fishcamp porch following my dad's funeral. Making the arrangements was difficult due to unreturned phone calls. I went there in person to make arrangements and after waiting over 20 minutes still was not able to speak with a manager although there was approximately 10 people total in the restaurant. In the end when we arrived with our party of 30 they were prepared. The food was very good, hot and came out together. A great experience over all. Our waitress Coral did a fantastic job with us. Thank you.

David Gay

Great food and drinks. Great place to enjoy a view of the river and watch the sunset.

Adam Price

great place and good folks and wonderful food

Amy Beveridge

Good food, great view & friendly service.

Brooke Beveridge

Just not great. Food bad, service bad. The only thing that saves this place is the vibe and the view.

Stephanie Wood

Amazing service and amazing food! The view was great on the patio!

Letty Jaime

Went there today because I was told this place was good. We had booked a reservation got there we still waited for about 15 min. The calamari was ok and the crab cake tasted like tuna. The waitress took forever to get to us didn’t bring us a kid menu until we asked for one. No highchair was offered for my friends 2 year old. Dishes weren’t getting cleared . Food did get to us pretty quickly but the salmon avocado toast I got was nasty and the potatoes were cold . The pasta my friend ordered for her daughter was dry and nasty. How can you mess up plain pasta? My friend ordered fish n chips the fish had no flavor she ended up throwing up her food. We ain’t coming back here again. The portions were small for an expensive meal!!

23

Loved it! Very nice service. Our entrees were delicious, and very fresh. We sat outside and really enjoyed the beautiful weather and view of the shrimp boats. Our server was very nice and attentive. I think we found our new lunch spot.

Nathan Bristow

So glad their barmaid moved to another local restaurant. Now I Can enjoy the great food, service and view.

Chris Smith

We really enjoyed this place! Great service while eating fresh seafood with a waterfront view. Can't beat that!

Mark Johnson

Service was bad and the food was so-so. Flounder, supposed to be stuffed with crab and spinach, had a few barely discernable green specks that I presume were spinach. They were so microscopically small it was hard to tell. Nice setting, but the rest...not so great.

michael barnett

Was in town for my step daughters marine graduation and we liked it so much we ate there twice in 2 days! Love it!

Ryan Brown

We came here with a group of 11 and fortunately the service was fine. The food however was abysmal. Scallops were coated with an extra layer of salt and oddly a herb like seasoning (rosemary?). The strange marmalade was better suited for a burger and not scallops. The risotto may have been the worst thing on the menu. The saffron was overpowering. The lobster, shrimp, and mussels were dried out and over cooked. The spinach was AWFUL. Couldn’t tell if just overcooked or has somehow become gelatin in nature. Drinks were fine. Service was normal.

Tracy Givens

Came down for graduation, food was amazing. Jalapeno hush puppies were delish. Service was great too. I had a painkiller and it did the trick after a long day. Delicious! 5 stars

Joan Pappas

Very good food. great atmosphere with wonderful service.

Tracie McGowan

It was soo good. And the service was great!

Chip Jenkins

First time having dinner here. It was outstanding! Little bit of a wait, but the outside bar and live music made the wait an enjoyable beginning of our meals. Our dinners the snow crab boil and the ribeye. Were perfect and hit the spot! Our server was beyond pleasant and professional. Truly wish I knew her name to give a shout out too.

Mindy Anthony

This place is spectacular! The view is breathtaking and the service was second to none. Our server, Christina, was so personal and friendly. The food was great. I will definitely be going back

Angela Litteral

Incredible location and restaurant design is what this area needs more of like swings, outdoor spaces, very laid back but yet classy. Food was amazing and so was the service even though they were packed. Higher end of our dining budget but worth it for a splurge. Most meals $18-$28.

Leslie Owens

Best king crab legs I've ever had

Steve Hylton

IThe food, the staff, the view.. all excellent.. casual without feeling too sloppy. They actually changed the menu for us (it was lunch time) by letting us order from the dinner menu, which means I got the Crab Leg Boil.. it was amazing. Great location

rodney adams

Oustanding food and awesome service.

Anitra Terry

The view and atmosphere was great. Great staff. Just took a bit long for our food to come out to the table.

nick Chan

Was fishing down by “The Sands” a week ago. Met a local and ask him where to find good local food. He recommended this place. Wasn’t much in a seafood mode, but the food and service was excellent! Ordered the shrimp, oyster, and flounder plate. It’s was delicious and hit the spot! Will definitely be back, when I’m in town again.

michael blovad

Lobster bisque had fake lobster no cream. Ice tea tastes moldy. Clean pots please. Ultra small portions. Ordered pasta dinner got less than 1/2 cup pasta. Not going back.

Troy Norwood

This place has excellent seafood. It was pretty packed when we went and they said there would be a 45 min wait but they seated us in about 15. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to but they are right on the water and the quality and taste of the food was worth it. The drink prices were very reasonable as well. Try the camp lemonade very tasty.

Dan Peay

I grew up 100 miles up river from here. I now know where The House of Fish flavor profiles came from.

J Hinton

The food was AMAZING and sitting outside in a screened in porch right by the water was very enjoyable. The lemon risotto was so good that I craved more the next day! We will be back on our next visit to Hilton Head next summer!

Felicia Stewart

Ambience abounds both inside and outside, terrific water view! We had Spinach Salad with Crab Cake & Greek Salad with Grilled Salmon, both dishes were superb! Looking forward to going back for the other tempting menu options available!

Local Seafoodlover

Enjoyed a nice lunch for a first visit. Tuna nachos were great! Tons of tuna in each bite! Camp bloody with local mix, bacon, and shrimp was awesome! Enjoyed the fried shrimp and flounder. Pretzel bun does NOT work with grilled mahi, just fyi. Definitely worth another trip!

Amy Milazzo

Delicious, good quality food! Kind of pricey, but it is so worth it! The service was great and the staff was so kind.

Tim Daugherty

You cannot go wrong here

Krystyne Ann

Be prepared for the wait. Call ahead Amazing atmosphere.

Lori M

We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. The initial outside area was quite crowded, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was outdoor seating and bar, instead of a long wait line. The second surprise was an additional outdoor seating area that was screened in. Our waitress arrived promptly, and offered suggestions as to what was good on the lunch menu when asked. We took her suggestions on the appetizer and entree. Appetizer Cajun Peel & Eat shrimp was very flavorful and fresh. Entree Salmon BLT was good and fresh, but the flavor of the salmon and the basil mayonnaise was lost in the pretzel bun. The crispy bacon was my favorite part of the sandwich. Desert was Bread Pudding, and while my husband found it to be too dry, I thought it was perfect and unlike any other bread puddings I have had. It was like the bread was woven together, and with just the right amount of sauce to sweeten it up. I don't know if others around us were ordering off of a dinner menu or if when we asked our waitress what was good, it changed her pattern, but the others were offered a Mahi Mahi special, which is what my husband and I originally wanted, but was not listed on the lunch menu. After her initial prompt appearance, it seemed to take our waitress longer and longer to come around. When my husband's sandwich came out, the gentleman who brought it, stated what it was correctly (No tomato) but it had a tomato on it. The gentleman offered to take it back immediately, which we declined. I am curious to go back and eat off of the dinner menu.

Paula Eversole

1st time came for the 4th had a great time Fireworks we're amazing good view.

Rebekah Miller

Great food and great service with an amazing view!

Catherine Stewart

Made a reservation for lunch two days ago. Arrived at 12:15 and learned two large parties had taken precedence over my reservation - the wait would be 1 hour and 15 minutes. I will never eat at Fish Camp again.

Charles Foutch

Very nice appearance. Clean restaurant with great patio area and even better interior. Very pleasant staff that works hard to provide a great meal.

Steve Couch

Loved everything as always! Service was lovely. Low carb friendly specials.

Rachel Cone

Meant to leave a written review, but better late than never! This beautifully redesigned restaurant is a thoughtful tribute to the one before (local favorite 11th Street Dockside, mostly lost to a fire some time ago). Dine in the welcoming expanded interior, or immerse yourself in the sea breezes outside! The seafood is fresh off the docks, located steps from the kitchen. Artfully prepared, the taste combinations are a delight to the senses. Try the Seafood Risotto for a full flavor experience! I've had varying levels of service (though I'd never say "terrible") but I believe you just never know what happened 5 mins before they got to your table... A truth of any server, any restaurant... And I try not to judge. For Fishcamp, though, I'm thoroughly pleased way more often than not. Bottom line, try this place! You'll be in love with the atmosphere, the view, and the food at this little slice of Beaufort heaven

Alan K

Unfortunately just an awful meal for my wife and I last night. Waitress was ok. She said food is brought in fresh frozen. Explains why the food didn’t taste fresh like Dockside Restaurant. Mussels were rubbery and came out cold. Brought out calamari instead and mostly pickles. Catfish way way too salty. Waited 45 minutes our entry and not even crowded at 8:30 on a Saturday night. Ran out of the special. Only one special even offered. Very limited menu. I know this place gets great reviews. But for me, way over rated. Way over rated.

George Moran

Amazing! Great food, great presentation and great service

Ron Wong

This is the best restaurant I've been to in the Beaufort area. It's right in the water so you get the sexy waterfront view. The staff was attentive the whole night, the dinks came out fast and the food was A+.I had the middle for an appetizer and the filet mignon for the main course. Both were fantastic. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu

Had the Seafood Omelet with a Bloody Mary and it was outstanding! Service was fantastic and the views were to die for!!! A must place to dine if your in Beaufort and that is coming from a native!

Will Hall

Great food! We went on a Sunday for brunch. The prices are lower for brunch

George Goodfred

Good food. Small portions, too expensive.

John Gallagher

Great food and great location. Live music was a treat.

Angel Chandler

Great place to eat and a nice location. We had the calamari, fish and chips, and peel and eat shrimp. It was all good. The calamari was my least favorite of what we got. The service was slow but the view was nice enough to not be too bothered by it.

Lucius Gulledge

Great atmosphere, overlooking the marsh and shrimp boats. The food was fantastic and service to match. We may even return tomorrow for another round!

Jennifer Nebergall

Really enjoyed the food. We went for dinner. We have heard that the lunch is even better but we wont be able to make it for lunch this time. Service was good.

Really good fried shrimp, ok French fries, awful Cole slaw....no flavor plus it was room temperature. Slaw should be served cold. Drinks were exceptional. Wife's "Mule" was so refreshing, as was my gin and tonic. Would have ordered seconds but I was driving. Prices were reasonable, quantities adequate. Our waitress was professional but friendly, best we saw in the restaurant, sorry I can't remember her name. She and the young man serving food were the only waitstaff I saw do anything. Many staff members standing around in aisles having personal conversations, not professional at all. The restaurant hasn't been open long so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. We'll return, but will wait 6 months for them to get their newness ironed out.

Very cool place on the water. Up close and personal with the shrimp boats. Eat onside or out. Outside is screened in and has heaters for cool weather dining. Drinks are good and if the she crab soup is the soup of the day, be sure to order it. The sandwiches all looked tasty. Only had the she crab soup at lunch. Will definitely be our weekly go to spot.

We love Fish Camp in Hilton Head so decided to try the Fish Camp near Beaufort. We were not disappointed! Another great restaurant with water front views, attentive staff, and great food!

Pablo Trejo

Good food. Friendly staff. Amazing view.

Lynda Beck

Food was good Service was good. Sitting outside was so relaxing. Great spot !

Marie Hooper

The food was great. atmosphere was good. Love the outside bar option. Overall though I would say the food was overpriced for the portions. Also, our drinks we're $2.00 more expensive at the table than they were at the outside bar. I still prefer Dockside for a big meal but will definitely go back to eat at the outside bar.

Kaydee Keen

The place was beautiful but the food was just alright for what they charged for it. Definitely priced according to the scenery.

I visit SC often & love hearing about new restaurants. This place, although a little difficult to find if you aren't a regular visitor to Sands Beach is worth finding! I was with my teenage grandson, so we had to skip the one-man show of live music in the bar area on this Tuesday night. He sounded pretty good from what I heard. You walk thru the 'bar' area (an outdoor area of tables with a large bar to service them) to get to the hostess stand. We asked for outdoor seating that wasn't in the bar area, so they sat us in a screened in porch with some powerful fans in the corners. The view was nice but obstructed by shrimp boats docked along a pier directly outside. The sunset is nice if you are sitting on the far end of the room. I figured they might do a good crab cake (I live in Dallas & have yet to taste one I like). The Daufuskie blue crab cake did not disappoint (ordered the appetizer version at $14)! So fresh and not mushy with filling at all. Totally enjoyed it and the slaw underneath. It was a little disappointing to not see more fresh seafood dishes with assortments (fish, shrimp, crab). I'm not a fan of fried seafood.Your choice of 'fresh seafood' on the menu consists of flounder or grouper. There are 2 'towers', but one is only shrimp $40 and the other is way too much food for 2 people and at $100, I'm not willing to chance it. We shared the king crab at $40 for 1-1/2 ibs. The presentation flunked majorly! They tossed a couple of legs in a tin pan with a few potatoes, 2 small ears of corn & maybe 5 little pieces of sausage. I almost sent it back. But my grandson cracked open the legs and they were filled with some fresh, juicy meat. Can I make a suggestion? - lose the tin pan for one. Serve it on a nice white platter with some garnish and more sides. Oh, is my Dallas-side showing? Our server Sarah was super friendly and knew her stuff! I'd love to have her wait on us again. She laughed & chatted but not too much, she hustled to get us what we needed. Would like to see a larger selection of white wines. The chocolate/peanut butter mousse dessert was delish! I'll be back to enjoy a drink in the bar area soon!

Secret Shopper

It's a nice place pricey tho

Dockside dining, great atmosphere. You can see the boats that caught your dinner from your table.
