Everything was good and service was on Time!! Perfect place for a good evening!

Ed Chodkowski

Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and of course the food is outstanding. Great selection of oysters and a creative cocktail menu.

Zak Sagstetter

Happy hour is legit. $9.95 / dozen oysters, $2 yeungling draws

Matt Smith

Restaurant is smart inside and relaxed to g get away from hustle and bustle of central charleston. Great service, food was nice. Not especially cheap, but it is the centre of charleston!

Don Torchia

Absolutely incredible! Great food, attentive service by Megan. Must try the shrimp corn dogs!

Chip Krusemark

Very nice decor, great service, tasty she-crab, and the oysters selection was amazing. While my oyster knowledge is VERY limited, our server was very helpful in picking out a few varieties for us and they were delicious!

Scott Ray

Best raw bar in Charleston! Sit at the bar and ask for Vince. He broke down oyster flavors and all the cocktails on menu. We ended up sitting here for 2 hours instead of exploring the city because we were having so much fun.

Sarah Thomas

I never write reviews...but this may be seriously the best place I have ever eaten, so I was compelled. We are visiting from out of town and came here at the recommendation of a local. Friendly advice: skip all of the overpriced, touristy restaurants and come here. Amen Street is AMAZING. Cool, laid back atmosphere and beautiful, elegant space. Fantastic service, and the FOOD. My boyfriend and I are both foodies, and can’t stop raving about this place. We had the calamari and she-crab soup to start (both absolutely divine), I had the tuna tacos (some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten) and he had the burger with goat cheese and bacon (also delicious and perfectly cooked). This establishment was our favorite restaurant while visiting, and an absolute must when in Charleston.

1 star for service, 3 stars for food. Adequate hospitality in a bustling, airy space. Couldn’t wait for first come first served seating for happy hour only available at the bar. Came here for the hush puppies (tasty) and wowed by the phenomenal mussels, tuna tartar and she crab soup (do order extra bread for the mussels, more chips for the tartar, and order a bowl, not just a cup of soup!) Fried oysters were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy and fresh on the inside (perfect sized serving as a main after the delish apps above). Shrimp and grits was subtle and creamy, burger big and juicy. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Debbie Nelson

Great service; incredible food.

Lisa Touch

Really great experience. Great she crab soup, fish of the day, and beet salad.

Konnor Graber

Best dinner of my vacation! Seafood trio grilled :) No other restaurant offered what I was looking for and I finally found it!

Joseph Boggs

Oh yeah! The oysters are so good here and you just have to get a Bloody Mary to wash them down with! I love the jalapeño infused vodka!

Marissa Farrell

Great service, cool vibe, good food. Thanks for the care to celiac sensitivity.

Tim Moore

Great service, and fast. The food was delicious. Staff was super nice.

Wilson Hendrawan

Love the Krispy calamari steak! Fresh fish and raw oysters. Definitely recommended to try!!

Nick Fortinberry

Very small portions and not overly flavorful for the price

Jeffrey Schulze

OMG! I had the perfect accompaniment of Edmond’s Oast Brewing Bound By Time IPA with a dozen local SC oysters (Single Ladies and Low Country Cups). The main lunch course was Tile Fish (low country style) and Grouper (blackened style). You won’t be disappointed.

Adam Harris

Excellent food, great service, wonderful atmosphere

Parker Brewer

The food was amazing, but the hostess’s attitude when we first walked in made us want to leave. Not the best first impression!

Beth Crawford

Absolutely the best happy hour around. Went every day! Calamari is outstanding.

Steve Messick

Just popped in for an afternoon snack. Wonderful she crab soup, mussels, and oysters.

Cathy Wright

Such dreadfully slow service, it took forever to get served. Food was good.

Stephen Dorsett

Came in for dinner Friday night and had Gracie as our server. She was really friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate me and our table and what we wanted for dinner. Service was excellent and would highly recommend her and Amen!

John Hoyt

Highly recommend Amen Street to you. This is my wife and daughter's favorite place to eat when we visit Charleston. Everything we've ever tried was delicious.

Drew Flatford

Food was easily our favorite seafood in Charleston. Service hasn’t always been the best but they have been busy each time which I’m sure contributes. I recommend here to any visitors

Tom Ritchie

Absolutely fantastic. Awesome seafood, great food. Wonderful staff. Thomas at the oyster bar is wonderful! The go to place for dinner. Check out happy hour, its where the locals go!

Kevin Sconzo

Great place to eat! We sat at the bar both times and ordered from raw bar. The food and drinks were excellent! The staff very friendly and attentive

Karen Sutton

Best shrimp and grits u will ever eat!!!!

Dave Anderson

Super awesome raw bar with local fresh seafood from SC. Wicked tasty spicy bloody marys!

Mark Steele

Fried Shrimp was fresh and tasty but salad soggy and our drinks watered down. Sangria was 90% ice, the cocktail tasted like it had zero vodka in it! Too bad to see theses signs of greedy owner or manager instead of the usual southern hospitality!

David Flesher

For real, my favorite place. Feel so rich drinking beer there, awesome place, food and staff.

kaceyvu .

Good food and service. The Amen Street She-Crab soup was delicious! The mussels were fresh and plump. The green tomatoes were not my favorite. One note: A few of the prices on the menu online were off.

catwerle .

Great location and cool escape on a hot day in downtown Charleston. Raw oysters at the bar or grab a table and try many of the seafood and low-country inspired dishes. Fried Green Toms, shrimp corndogs, fried oysters, amazing shrimp and grits, fried flounder sammy and hearty salads. Great service too!

Larry Allen

Best mussels you can find. Shrimp and grits outstanding.

Anna Wippl

Excellent experience tonight. We are locals to Charleston and had somehow missed this gem and discovered it on a whim tonight when we had visitors from out of town. We got a dozen house oysters which were wonderful, everyone got different entrees, and best of all, we had a wonderful, attentive, funny server- who was not overbearing at all. Thank you Michael! The fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, risotto, house fish....EVERYTHING! Was super enjoyable. Will be back!

Monica Haddox

Absolutely amazing! Great service, great food. The oysters were amazing!!

D Michael Grey

Love this place! Great oysters and delicious scallops. The shrimp and grits is also a stand-out. Service is always excellent and the cocktails are creative and generous. Serve a spicy Bloody Mary that's my favorite anywhere, and goes great with the oysters!

Melissa Flo

First time visit to this local establishment resulted in an amazing experience. The interior decor is very beautiful and sets the tone immediately for guests to enjoy a meal amidst an engaging yet calming environment. Then the food arrived. All perfectly prepared, fresh, and flavorful. We will definitely return; and highly recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists alike.

perrine B.

Kid friendly, great service and awesome food

Gail Taylor

Good food and great service.

Janet Wright

We waited too long to book dinner so had to settle for a mid-afternoon slot which meant a more limited lunch menu. Were a little disappointed by the lunch selections and serving sizes for the cost. But the seafood quality was very good for sure. Shrimp + grits was excellent. Atmosphere just OK, but to be fair, we need to give them another chance at dinner. So our advice is book a reservation well in advance if you are going on Friday/Saturday night.

Mary Jane Murphy

Great seafood!! Nice location!! Wonderful service from all staff!!

IrishNomad ORourkeGlynn

Great food and drinks. Service is average and lacking. Management's fault.

Michael Roye

Absolutely Marvelous...Awesome Staff!! You should not miss it...

William Thee

Friendly staff, great oysters, nice wine list.

Joseph Raczynski

Great staff! The happy hour is excellent. Fine beers on draft and good options for food. The oysters are right in the middle at a fair price. Worth the stop on by. Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Jim Moring

Ocean fresh oysters salty and tasty. Amen's own hot sauce explodes with flavors and a little heat, perfect for the oysters on the half shell and the incredible tender calamari strips.

Mary Phillips

I don't do raw, but had an excellent meal, professionally prepared and delicious, our entire table was pleased with their meal.

Jett W

Awesome raw bar. Delicious Mussels the way I like them, with tons of bread to absorb up that amazing broth. I sat at the bar and the service was excellent. The bartender was always attentive and helpful with suggestions. You don’t want to miss this one if you are visiting Charleston.

Denise Wilcox

Excellent service from the bartenders. Amazing happy hour for oysters and drinks.

emile mcknight

Enjoy at your own risk. I like the food, but is there not a way to make sure these fried oysters don't have pearls in them? Honestly the food I've tried is really good, but hopefully I don't need to see a dentist. The fries are unique they taste as though they are fried in butter. I'm sure that's in the menu some where though.

Michael Field

BLT has pimento cheese and is probably the best I've ever had

Matt Bryan

Good food. Absolutely fresh and tasty. Some wait staff were very informative and entertaing. Our waitress seemed like she had better things to do. If you love raw oysters, you will not find a fresher variety than what they have here.

Arnold Moore

Man oh, man. Amen Street is WHERE IT'S AT! Excellent service, crackin' fresh oysters, excellent happy hour value and a beautiful atmosphere. We arrived just in time at Happy Hour, snagged seats at the bar just before the HH crowd arrived. We enjoyed a few happy hour bites and an oyster shooter suggested to us by the bartender called "Cholula Oblongata".. it was delish! Diced pickle, fried chicken crunchies on top of a fresh oyster, on top of a shot of Budweiser.

Jamie Grantz

Have fresh shelled oysters brought in daily. If you love raw oysters this is the place to be. Also, try the Saint Anthony cocktail.

Tony Banks

Very enjoyable experience, appreciated ambiance and architecture, Lindsey provided great informative and helpful service, lowcountry fish with grits, fried oysters with chowchow, blackened shrimp with Amen Street hot sauce were all delicious!

Karen Wenger

You must try the fried green tomato appetizer!!! They are fried to crispy perfection and served with the best pimento cheese I've ever eaten. In fact they were so good we chose the Fried Green Tomato B.L.T , and it was heavenly!!! I will definitely go back when I get to Charleston again! The service was 10 out of 10, and we loved the atmosphere too! True Southern hospitality!

Michelle Bostick

Awesome food, kind people and even though they had closed for the night, they didn't tell us or rush us out. Southern hospitality at it's finest. Key lime pie was to die for.

Katie Baker

Amazing food, wonderful service! The scallops were melt in your mouth good and the spinach was to die for.

Tony Perez

Outstanding quality! Definitely visit.

june Kelly

Waiter was Michael he did a great job helping us not only recommending food but described it perfectly. Food was great

Kristy Fortinberry

Overpriced and not flavorful... highly disappointed when many better options are available. Atleast the service was good....

Matthew Ferrans

Magnolias and Amen are the top 2 rivals when it comes to seafood. Great sides - creamed corn and greens. Excellent main dishes.

Kazmo Groove

I wanted to try seafood during my first stay in Charleston. I walked around a bit and saw this place. Right kind of vibe. I thought this was it. Their combahee raw clams were as good as She-crab soup with dry sherry on top that followed. Then shrimp with grits was just marvelous. Finished with espresso and brandy. I sat at a bar and the service from the bartender lady was excellent. I recommend this place to everyone including lone travellers like me.

Ed VanVoorhees

Nice place, a little pricey, but it's a tourist haunt in Charleston SC. Good food and service and friendly staff.

Tom Ranese

Love this place. Great oysters and seafood.

Katherine Jones

Love this place!! The ceviche was unbelievable, the seafood platter was so fresh and delicious and our bartender, Vince, made us a custom oyster shooter that was out of this world! A MUST go in Charleston!

Andi Guelich

Food was great. I had the fresh swordfish blackened. It was spicy but great flavoring.

BobandDeb Pierce

Food was outstanding. Shrimp and grits and mussels delicious. Staff friendly and engaging.

Rachelle Calderin

Best oysters I've ever had!!! Recommend going during happy hour! Arrive early to grab a seat at the bar! Delicious she crab soup too.

martin ramsey

Visited twice in a 5 year span, food and service was good and consistent.

Jolene Theresa

Stopped by this little spot last week for a reunion with a friend. It was the middle of a week day so, naturally there weren't too many people out and about. Our waitress, Frances, was hilarious and attentive. The food was delicious and my cocktail was exactly as expected. We got a few apps, fish tacos and a sandwich which were all delicious. Trying to kill some time, we hung around for a little bit and, to my surprise, no one kicked us out. We sat right by the door which was very entertaining because, much like ourselves, everyone tried to pull the door open even though there is a sign that says push :) Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Dawn Sullivan

Great Food and service !

Tary P

Great food, awful service. Mackenzie was our waitress for the night & she was everything but what we expected; rude & unprofessional. Maybe she was having a bad day, but still that should’ve never affect the table you are attending.

Ryan McMurray

High quality seafood. I did the Fried Seafood Platter and my wife tried the Amen Sampler. Both were great! Very fresh. They allowed us to try a wide range of what Amen Street has to offer. Our server was exceptional - we never had to wait long and she always had our refills ready. We were there on a Tuesday evening, which seemed like a really good time with no wait for a table.

Cary Trippe

Dropped in on Birthday! Oysters and all were Great. What a fun time.

John Ford Milton

Great place for happy hour oysters. Same house oysters as most of the other places (James River) but a few bucks cheaper for a dozen. Good staff, good shucking, and just an all around good place to get some oysters.

William Farley

This place ROCKS!! What a selection of oysters. Everyone there ..... great folks. A must visit. Thank you Andrew Zimmerman.

Arturo Montenora

Great pub great service great food.

Denice Howard

AMAZING Shrimp & Grits, the Best EVER! My husband's baked oysters were mouth watering, the fried green tomatoes delish. I have been waiting awhile to fly in from Arizona to have Amen's Shrimp & Grits again...kudos to Michael, the Best server in Charleston, you made our dining experience at Amen, Heavenly! P.S. Great Margarita's!

Susan Huelsewiesche

Nice atmosphere, and friendly attentive service.

Nancy Rodgers

Shrimp and grits was amazing! Excellent food and service. Many other great menu choices that made for a tough decision. Definitely a highlight of our weekend in Charleston SC.

Geary James

This place has the best happy hour in Charleston. Nicely priced beer and great prices for raw oysters. We had a blast at the bar talking to others on vacation. Compared to 167 Raw, it’s much more reasonably priced and comparable oysters.

Matt Adams

This place is a treat. Loved the semi casual vibe and the atmosphere, awesome drinks, great service, delicious food.

Miranda Gromen

Wonderful food, we loved the oysters and their Bryan Cranston cocktail. We lucked out that night and snagged seats at the bar right as their happy hour began. Great way to start off our trip, we will be back!

Jeff Steinmiller

Great seafood restaurant in a sea of great restaurants. We enjoyed lunch at an outside table on a beautiful winter day. Half a dozen fresh oysters and a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc started our lunch. The tuna tacos and the fried green tomato BLT completed it. Excellent all around.

Ken Heimann

Stopped in just to escape heat. Glad we did Service was great

gstu

Hasty and abrupt hostesses who very bossily told us to close our bar bill. For a nice restaurant there should be not be so much tension between servers and bar staff. The best part of the whole place was the very friendly gentleman shucking the oysters. The swordfish w lowcountry spices was excellent.

Chris Greene

Love this place. Great seafood and the service is wonderful! Mackenzie is the best! Do yourself a favor and get the blackened shrimp appetizer.

Ben Walker

Classy environment, friendly staff, quality food. The perfect lunch as we were wandering through Charleston.

Ryan

Great oysters with great happy hour specials.

Matt Olson

Great food and service. Def a place to gorge on fresh SC oysters. Good beer selection.

STUART LAWRENCE

Loved this place. Sat at the bar and our hostess Amanda couldn’t have been more gracious or helpful. True southern belle. Had great cocktails crab soup and dozen oysters. Ate at Snobs Magnolias and the tavern across the road but this place and staff were my favourite. Look forward to traveling back there soon. Charleston one of my all time places to visit in the Us

kara breakall

My husband got the mahi mahi with pimento cheese grits and it was delicious!!!! I got the tuna tacos and they were terrible. They were 17.50 for two tacos and a side of tortilla chips with no salsa or anything to dip chips in??? The tortilla was hard/stale,chewy tasting . I was really disappointed in the dish. We also ordered oysters and crab cakes which were great. So the tacos were why I gave this place a 3 instead of 5 star.

Christina Brown

Wonderful in every way! FABULOUS food, wonderful waitress Megan .. courteous, informative and delivered meals with the most glorious smile!! Would recommend eating there!

Jeffrey Crockett

Excellent food, prepared to perfection. My server, Danielle, was a delight. A must when in Charleston

E P

Exceptional service, servers are polite, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable about dishes and ingredients and careful with dietary restrictions. Very good food, very pricey.

Virginia Gilbert

Might have great food but wouldn’t really know for sure as they don’t like to have kids at the restaurant. When we showed up with kids the wait was 3.5 hours with empty tables, call and the wait is half of that... so only recommend if you don’t have kids...

jess Seymour

This was the BEST seafood! We sat outside so we didn't have to wait. The fried calamari had a delicious corn and bacon mixture on top and it was perfectly cooked. It's on the pricey side but if you can splurge I would suggest here. We had the best server, Lyndsey. She was very good at her job, knowledge about the whole menu, made great suggestions, and just took great care of us. Portions were large.

Stowe Smith

Amen street is consistently good. Nice variety of local foods, good cocktails and great atmosphere.

Joya De Foor

My husband, his brother-in-law, and my sister-in-law really enjoyed it. The pecan pie was excellent! What's really surprised that the restaurant didn't have a microwave or ice cream which is our usual go to for pecan pie. But go there again

Terry Vagle

Fast friendly service and exceptional food! Our waitress Danielle was super helpful and informative. So glad we came.

Keturah Stokes

I've been here twice. The first experience the food was mediocre. The second experience the food was good. Wait staff was pleasant both times. Nice atmosphere. They just need more consistency in the kitchen.

Debbie Poole-Rowe

Juicy scrumptious ocean scallops known as U2's larger than a silver dollar yet not quite as wide as a hockey puck, cooked to perfection with a silken texture so delicious you don't want to miss a morsel...so tender your taste buds will rejoice with a Hallelujah, Amen! Grilled shrimp on a bed of fresh Romaine with house prepared Caesar dressing delivered to your table by quite possibly the world's most outstanding waiter, Michael, a subject matter expert on Charleston seafood. Fresh juicy oysters line the Oyster Bar as you walk in the door, and you should enjoy a dozen at the bar while you sip on your favorite drink. A restaurant worth TWO of your evenings of vacation in Charleston.... I know.....Be sure to try the calamari on your second visit!

gregg treybig

Amazing crab cakes and she crab soup. The mussels were some of the best I ever had

Devin T

Sat for 15 mins after being seated. No waitress in sight. No hang on we will be right with you or anything. Swanky LOL

Dudley Berry

I never write reviews, but this bartender went so far out of his way to help us, I just have too! Food & oysters were amazing! We will definitely go back!

Athen Rutherford

Oh a very good restaurant! Yummy food

Luke Gehrke

Fantastic service, great beet salad, shrimp corndogs, and fish. Highly recommended

Roman Marchyshyn

The best happy hour specials I have ever had! The calamari, mussels, crab cakes are all very fresh and delicious. The oysters are 9.99 for a dozen and are delicious. Great service.. $2 pints.. this place is gold!!!!!!

Austin Beam

Excellent meal all around. My wife had crab cakes and I had blackened swordfish. We tried peel to eat shrimp and the shrimp corn dogs as our appetizer, with key lime pie for dessert. A bit pricey, but the food was outstanding!

Angela Watkins

The name and interior were great! The food was good but not enough to warrant the charge. I had shrimp and grits. It came in a huge bowl but barely covered the bottom. There were maybe 4 small shrimp and 2 small pieces of sausage. We had to keep flagging other servers for water. With the sheer number of restaurants in the area, either the food or customer service or both should be EXCEPTIONAL to make an establishment stand out. I would not go back.

Christopher Hibbert

Nice place!! Door opened fresh gas and oil smell from the construction work across the street. Fried oysters had huge shells pieces in them. Told waiter he didn't nothing. Tacos had probably half of ounce of fish in them. Hush puppies wore pretty good., but I thought it was plain and doughy.

Landon White

Great atmosphere, terrific seafood, the most incredible service! Thank you Gracie for providing such a phenomenal experience!

Joseph Crone

Sat down at the bar for a late afternoon lunch. Tried the she crab soup, which was delicious. Didn't have an entree for lunch, but the shrimp and grits looked to be wonderful as well.

hhh orb

One of my favorite places in Charleston. I've lived here four years and I've worked in restaurants all that time and much more. One of the few restaurants to serve lunch all afternoon, they have amazing seafood. Ask for a Po' Boy if you want one, they'll probably make you one even if it's not on the menu ATM. Here's my last meal there from a few days ago, the blackened drum. Every bite was better than the one before...

Steve Anderson

Delicious food and drinks. Very fresh. Michael, our waiter, was very informative, gave helpful advice, and made us feel very welcomed and important.

Brian Young

Came here on the recommendation of my cousin and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. Arrived during happy hour and the bar was full. The hostesses were so nice and friendly that I waited it out for a open spot. And was it totally worth the wait. The food was amazing - presentation, taste, the whole 9 yards was top notch. Scott was my server at the bar and he was great, had recommendations readily available for both food and drinks. The calamari was absolutely divine, but could you expect less when there’s also bacon involved? Ya me either. Unfortunately at some point one does have to leave, but not without getting desert first. Let me tell you about the key lime pie. If heaven could come packaged in a sliced form, this was it. Such a fantastic way to end my meal here. Seriously this place knows what they are doing and is worth checking out!!!

Carol Stanfield

Excellent food and service. Warm and stylish decor. If I were going to be in town tomorrow, I'd eat there again.

Wannipa Ogrydziak

Fresh seafood, good flavor, great value & fantastic service!

Nancy Neville

Wonderful seafood restaurant. Too many excellent choices. They offer a fresh fish list prepared and complimented 3 different ways for a dinner choice. Started with an excellent She Crab Soup with a splash of Sherry added at table. Went local for my entree...local shrimp and local grits. Yummy. You have to try their signature drink, the Holy Basil.

Valerie Chapman

Service is great and the options for the oysters is amazing. I would also suggest the she crab soup. This is my favorite place to get food when I visit Charleston and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Judy Hobson

It was awesome...the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp corn dogs were the bomb.

Kelly Sexton

Some of the best food that I have ever eaten. Everything on the plate was perfection. The atmosphere was upscale and friendly. The staff unobtrusive but ever present. Food and drinks were incredible.

Chris Awad

Food was great. I recommend making a reservation on OpenTable. The raw bar right up front is big for some people but, I have to say, the smell was a bit much for me. The staff is nice. Our food was good. 4/5 stars.

Tori NightTheif

Very cool place with great food and friendly people! I totally recommend this place!

Anna Smith

Casey, our waitress, was amazing. The calamari, divine, and she-crab soup, delicious! I'd go back just for the calamari!

Ashley Towers

Had an oyster shooter at the bar, great seafood and definitely try the calamari appetizer. Okay wine list, great service and comfortable booths.

Ryan Norcross

Great oysters and happy hour specials. Must have an oyster shooter.

Alason Polanco

Service was incredible and our server was so knowledgeable. The food was divine and the only problem with our drinks was that I wanted more and had to show restraint.

Kelly Doyle

Fantastic service and food! Be sure to make a reservation. The oysters were delicious! They offer oysters from across the US.

Orielle M.G.

I can't say enough about Amen Street. Each plate is put together with the utmost detail. staff is extremely knowledgeable and provide the best recommendations based on your preferences. The raw seafood was fresh and delicious. While the cooked items were prepared perfectly. If you find yourself wandering on East Bay, I highly recommend stopping here for a bite.

Robert Dunlap

I was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't really in the mood for fish so even though Amen Street is mostly a fish and raw bar restaurant, I reluctantly ordered the steak. Again, because it's a traditional seafood restaurant my expectations were not high for a steak but instead I got a really great steak! Cooked just the way I like it. Just as tinder, tasty and juicy as any steak I've eaten at other five star steak houses. It was fantastic! I found a new steakhouse inside of a seafood restaurant!

David Hornik

One of our favorites in Charleston. Consistently excellent.

Gregory Rassolov

The selection of fresh fish and other seafood is good. I tried both grouper served with Lowcountry grits and the fried shrimp platter for lunch, and both were excellent. The she-crab soup appetizer was great, a bit on the spicier side. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price especially, given that it is seafood. There are also cocktails on offer, some of which are very interesting. The location, close to the waterfront, is a nice plus if you're interested in strolling around after a meal rather than hanging around at the bar. Staff is very friendly and the facility is clean.

Christine VonGonten

Delicious dinner and our waitress Regan was wonderful. Thanks

Mark Robison

Had a lovely dinner here with my wife last weekend. The food was very good, but the service was even better. Our server was Michael, and he proved to be very good at his job; he knew the menu thoroughly and had great suggestions from the cocktail menu as well. We enjoyed the shrimp “corn dogs” - they are much better than they sound, and our entrees were also very good; I had the crab cakes and my wife had the seared scallops with pork belly. They even had an Alsatian Pino Blanc by the glass, which made me very happy. Great experience and would recommend this place.

Ben tuffias

It was good. I wasn’t wowed. I had the blackened grouper with jambalaya. I’m not sure if the chef has ever been to Louisiana or not, but typically jambalaya is not watery. I would have probably given this place 5 stars if not for the watery jambalaya. Our waitress was nice as well.

J R

First off, Casey our server was fantastic! We ordered mussels as an appetizer and they did not disappoint. We also shared a seafood platter and that was delicious as well. Can't wait to return.

Kim Jefferson

Great food! Signature spicy Bloody Mary was awesome! Had fried oysters, fried tomatoes and a fried flounder sandwich! Yummy!

Jacob Mallow

Third stop of a Oyster Happy Hour crawl. The half dozen oysters accompanied by the oyster shooter was delicious, only to have the house hot sauce be the icing on the cake. Would have indulged more if time hadn't ran out. If I'm in the area again I will definitely visit again.

giuseppe profeta

Fresh oysters great food !Mussels best I Have had since Miami.Service great first night, average second nite.

Britt Kimel

We stopped in 30 minutes early for our lunch reservation and were sat promptly. Our server was attentive and did a good job. We had the tuna tacos which were fantastic.

Joshua Jarnigan

What a wonderful experience! We grabbed a tour guide and asked for good seafood and he directed us here and we were thrilled! Fresh, local seafood and a place that will let you keep your wallet when you leave!! Yum!!

Gary Lin

Above average distinguishable quality in a historic setting

Tim Nelson

This place rocks. Attentive service and amazing food. The shrimp and grits is a star... one of the best I've ever had! Can't recommend highly enough.

Lori Hart

We LOVE Charleston. But we don't love the tourist trap restaurants. You won't be disappointed here. Terrific artistic urban environment with fresh ingredients. I knew by the aroma when we entered that it was going to be good. See the empty plates. Not a morsel remained. We we're expertly guided by Lindsey, who recommended the scallops--tender, fresh and beautifully paired with sauteed kale and onions. Dad chose the raw combination and my hubby chose the classic shrimp and grits, which were pure comfort.
