The owner always trys to sell me more fish than my tank should EVER have. Everyone who knows even the basics about fancy gold fish knows the one inch per gallon DOES not apply! My 46 gallon should have a MAX of 3 goldfish. He told me I could have about 10!!! Yeah they fit as babies but things grow.... Every time I decide to give them another chance and buy a fish from them it dies within a week. And it's not me, because all my stock from other places is alive and healthy! It's to bad because he does have unique stuff, but I always feel like I am being screwed over. They don't write prices on most of the tanks, and I've actually witnessed them telling different customers different prices. Once he tried to get me to pay 50$ for a fish that was labeled as 30$ (one of the few that were actually labeled) Its too bad because I would go there more because I live so close, but I always feel like I just left a sleazy car dealership when I go there....

I drove almost an hour to get here. I called ahead of time and asked if they had sae. When I got there they were flying foxes which is a totally different fish. Turns out it was the owner I talked to. In the the phone. Very disappointed.

They do not take care of their animals. Someone I know took pictures of the sick and dead reptiles, dirty fish tanks etc. They should be shut down permanently.

I always buy my fish here. They have the best fish and my step dad also buys fish from here and he has been for 10 years. I tried other places like petco but I got 2 fish and they got all of my fish ick and they all died in a week. I will always buy my fish at the fish bowl. There fish live longer than any other fish I have gotten at any other stores. My mollies and tetras and algae eaters always live longer than usual and I think it is because the workers there are always taking care of there animals no matter what. This place has brought me memories that I will never forget because of the fish they sell. When I am old enough I will work there that's how much they rule. In conclusion, shop here if you love animals and fish. They sell cute puppies, fish, I think kittens, and all sorts of other animals.

Great selection of unique fish. They have a small area with reptiles and also have few puppies for sale as well. I go here for my saltwater fish and they have well maintained tanks each visit. Nice local fish store with good customer service and knowledgable staff members.

This place is great! The prices are cheaper than commercial pet stores, and the staff is very knowledgeable about what they are talking about. The fish are all high quality and well cared for and my girlfriend and I came here to buy some salt water fish for our tank. They have a very wide selection of clown fish. Although it is a bit of a drive to get there from where we live, it is DEFINITELY worth it.

Puppies that are being sold there are very overpriced and are not properly taken care of. Puppies should not be sold at a fish store, no one would even think of going to a fish place for a puppy so they have no chance of getting adopted.

I love coming here to buy fish and inverts, but I hate seeing one thing here. They sell sick fish. I bought a baby dogface puffer and it was in a tank with ich and they still sold it to me. The ich killed 7 OF MY FISH! It really peeved me off that they sel fish with ich. I honestly hope they stops doing this as I still have the ich in my 70g tank. I am so mad too about this.

WRONG PET STORE!! I bought my pet AT THE FAMILY PET STORE, SMITH STREET, NORTH PROVIDENCE. He's a dorkie there dausand & half Yorkie. He is adorable the cutest little thing I have ever seen in my life. He is wonderful I couldn't ask for a better dog and the owners of the pet store art were wonderful and very helpful. The owner is wonderful my husband called the morning after we brought him home to ask a question and the owner answered all of his questions and told us to call anytime with any other questions. His name is Sonnie. He is a very good animal dog if you are looking for one he gets along wonderful with children also I have a male cat and a female cat as well as a Holland Lop male rabbit and he gets along with all of them. Him and the rabbit literally lick each other and bump heads with each other. Thank you very much for helping us with the puppy and if we are ever in the business of getting another one or have any friends and family thinking about it we will definitely highly recommend your store.

I worked there for about a month when I was living in Rhode Island. Mickey great boss very informational owner knows a lot about the animals fair prices current staff very knowledgeable. Any one who says that the fish are not fairly priced doesn’t understand the hobby. I breed guppies and plecos as well as grow plants. My albino bushy nose pleco breeding colony is from this store and they have lived past a week. I also use to clean those puppies cages twice a shift they are very sanitary. People who complain about fish dying from this store don’t research before they purchase fish and commonly don’t stock or buy the appropriate tank size for their fish.

I went in, walked around trying to find someone to help. It smelled like death and the kids working there didn't acknowledge my presence. We were trying to buy a puppy, which there weren't any even though the sign states they sell puppies. We ended up leaving. The smell alone was enough to turn us off.

This local pet store has been in business forever which says a lot for their word of mouth business. Its tucked down a side road off a busy intersection in West Warwick about a mile or so from CCRI and the RI Mall. LARGE healthy selection of both salt water and fresh water fish. They also sell small animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, etc. In addition to offering many supplies the national chains carry they also have items you won't find in the big box stores. Very helpful knowledgeable staff too!

I went to this store in search of new saltwater aquarium livestock. The Tanks in this store were horrid. Brown algae consumed most tanks and there were dead fish in every single tank in the store. One of the workers actually argued with me that brown algae and dead fish(that had obviously been there for a long time) is not a sign of bad water quality. I received the bare minimal customer service as they were more concerned with eating Dominos and talking with friends as opposed to helping me. It was the first time I actually felt bad for the fish and coral that live in the tanks they supplied. I will give them credit that they had great prices, but some things come at a cost. Dont waste your time.

I went into Fish Bowl tonight looking for a small piece of a certain type of coral. The type I wanted was there but only a few massive colonies of it. While normally you would be walking away with nothing, Mickey went and broke me off a piece of the colony and let me pick the exact piece I wanted, and gave it to me at a great price. The service was superb and the staff was very knowledgeable. I will be going there again very soon.
