Got everything I need. Talked to the monger a few times, helped us out, gave us a few tips. Very knowledgeable on what he sells and how to cook it. They offer ready made meals in a cooler, they are fantastic. Come in foil you can just throw on the grill and cook. Everything is fresh (if it's in season) and everything not in season is IQF frozen so it maintains the best quality. Shellfish is on point.

Today my daughter and I went to Dockside Seafood to get some steamers and items for dinner. I have always had a good experience here in the past, and the food has always been fresh. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience today that I feel could have been easily avoided. I purchased 6lbs of steamers and when I got home I placed them in a stockpot in cold water. I visualized most all of the steamers were open and this concerned me since my 9 year old daughter would be eating them. I brought the bag back to the store with my receipt. I was approached by a woman who I later found out to be the owner's girlfriend. She told me there was nothing she could do for me since they were already cooked. I explained to her that I did not cook them and she brought the bag over and flung the bag at me causing COLD water to splash my feet. She asked me why the bag was hot and I told her I didn't know since the water she splashed me with was cold. Her tone with me was condescending and rude, and she told me to leave the store. She ma'am'ed me more than once which I hate and told her not to ma'am me. She didn't like that very much. She said they had been in business for 30 years and they would never sell anything bad to a customer. I tried to explain that I was not trying to bad mouth the store but I was simply concerned about my daughter getting sick. She told me to leave the store and that I could not talk to the owner. She came towards me and got very close to my face almost as if she was going to hit me. I saw daggers in her eyes! After some time going back and forth and getting nowhere with this woman a very kind gentleman named Larry came over and offered to show me what happens to the steamers when fresh water is applied to them. Also, the gentleman who served me, Brian, was also very nice and I do not blame him at all for my experience. If the owners girlfriend had taken a nicer tone with me I honestly would have just cut my ties and left, no hard feelings. She had a very entitled attitude and actually rolled her eyes at me. Because of this experience, I will not be patronizing this store or Tommy's Clam Shack again. But don't worry, I know they don't care! Take my advice and stay away from the owner's girlfriend, she's a beast!

This is a revisit. I came here years ago and had a bad experience but came back for a second chance. I will say that the service has improved a lot! But little else has changed. It is such a shame! This place is BEAUTIFUL and you couldn't ask for a better view or location. But the food is so subpar! This place has so much potential it's heartbreaking. I ordered a margarita that was undrinkable. How does that even happen?! Make a house margarita mix! It's easy! Whatever bottled mix they used tasted like a cleanser used for countertops. I just can't wrap my brain around this place.

Dockside seafood is a great choice for any seafood fan. With a great selection of seafood, beef, deli meats and prepared meals you are sure to find a great meal here. I also noticed the staff is generally more knowledgeable about their seafood and can tell you the best ways to prepare your seafood, where it was sourced from and more. I would highly recommend.

Great, fresh selection. Very knowledgeable staff. Great meat selection as well! We loaded up the cooler with all sorts of ocean goodies and then headed back to Upstate New York with no problem.

Awesome local grocery. Dockside has a really decent selection. The produce is phenomenal. What did it for me was when I was checking out this mother was in front of me with her young daughter. Maybe 6 or 7 years old. The young cashier went out of her way to interact with the girl. They had an obvious history. Gave her a hug. Gave her a lollipop. Don't see that at a Shaw's.

Cashier and wife chatting about me. Seafood is incredible assortment, fresh, varied with a Deli. Squid, conch, octopus, besides all the regulars, plus precooked or uncooked but prepared. Prices very reasonable and staff were friendly. Wife stops here every trip monthly to R.I. from N.J. .only negative for me was fresh oysters with seaweed and cheese in the shell werent't shucked and oyster was tiny.

Since discovering Dockside a little over three years ago, it's become my go-to grocery store. The staff from the deli counter to the cashiers are incredible. The quality of produce, much of which is locally sourced, is par none. The seafood and deli counter are excellent. And the prices are outstanding.

Dockside has just about every you need if you're looking for an inexpensive market to purchase sea food. Their produce selection is fresh and much cheaper than the average chain grocery store. The market is small, so they don't carry a ton of items you'd normally find elsewhere, but it's well worth it to purchase other items here. You'll save a bundle getting any of your meats and produce here.

So this is the deal with the Dockside. I frequent there very much and by a lot of seafood. So I was buying two lobsters and the guy says I'll bring it to the front for you and I said why is that new and he said no someone walked out with lobsters before. So I said to myself self is this really happening, I said I just bought lobster tail last week and came to $80 for everything I bought why didn't you walk me to the counter? HE REPLIES "it's only the lobsters" are you f****** kidding me. So needless to say this time I was buying steamers and he goes to hand them over to me over the counter and I said" no you can bring them to the front for me LOL." HE DID LMAO Okay so now we're picking and choosing is what we're going to bring to the counter for our customers if you bring one item you bring it all pal.

A medium size food store. Has a wonderful deli and fresh fish selection. If you love snail salad highly recommended. Purchased salmon and cod filets. Carry a great line of specialty items. Plan to browse first and than make your selections. I chose to shop mid day on a Friday. I found shopping quite pleasurable. But because the store not lg. Price are are reasonable and the help was super. Great Job to all help esp. To the girl behind the deli very knowledgeable. TY. A must store to shop in.

I have been going to Dockside for twenty some odd years now, Wow !! I just realized that fact!!, anyway I buy my meats in bulk so I can cut them to any size I prefer. The Seafood is no joke, the fish isn't fishy smelling unless it's that " dried hot codd ",the clams aren't chewy, the prepared food is freshly made, and the lunchmeat doesn't get that slimy build up on it after three days. I Love it
