Captain's Catch has it all. They have loads f fresh seafood from swordfish, sushi grade tuna to wild salmon. They have oysters, littlenecks, quahogs, and mussels. They carry the best sea scallops ever! They serve fish and chips every Friday night too!

Tired of not getting good seafood in supermarkets, then Captains Catch is for you. Your gonna pay a good price for seafood no matter where you go, but at Captains Catch you get a great selection of fresh, precooked, stuffed, & some really good seafood salads, all at reasonable prices. I've paid more at the supermarkets. They also have some frozen things as well. I received complimentary herbs to go on our fish. The gentlemen behind the counter were very helpful & patient as we looked around first. We got about 10 meals worth for about $150. It is worth it. They have everything. Clams, of all kinds, from little necks to quahogs. All sizes shrimp & scallops, & fresh lobsters & crabs. It's worth checking out. They are located in North Providence & Warwick. Take the ride & taste the ocean.

Years ago the quality was there; now the fish 'n chips STINK. They absolutely ROT!! All dried out and definitely not 8 oz of fish as they say that it is. The fries are soggy and nasty. I'll stick with Walt's Roast Beef fish and chips and go out of my way next time. I will say one thing I DO like, that the kitchen is available other than Fridays for cooked up dinners, all fried of course, nothing baked!! They won't see me there but for a try of their other dinners. I know already to buy a nice fried shrimp dinner at Popeye's here in Providence on Smith Hill, so I'm guessing MAYBE I'll try fried clams and scallops hoping they're better quality than the fish'n chip dinner!!

Been there a few months back and the lady was super rude went back today hoping it would be a better experience but no the guy with the long blonde hair didnt pay is any attention for about 5 mins. Never going back to many options around to give them my money. Stay away!!!

I've bought trout. Yellow Fin Tuna steaks and a few other seafood on sale that I don't remember. Really good! Times to go vary but be careful not to go during the high priced times. I'm going again.

First time going here! Heard so many positive things about cooked foods on Fridays! Ordered clam cakes and red chowda! Clam cakes were VERY GOOD!! Red chowder was plentiful BUT the tomato favor was like eating tomato sauce with potatoes,clams,basil and bay leaves. Unfortunately red chowda wasn't so good. I'll definitely go back to try white chowda.

Not sure what the deal is with the previous reviews. I asked about fish for sushi. The guy assured me that some of his fish was fresh to eat raw and indeed it was. The fish was also decently priced. I made some yummy sushi for dinner and all was well! The salmon had skin on but was descaled. This is great if you like crisping up the skin but hate descaling (like me). I just moved to the area and am very happy that this place is nearby. Prices are competitive with grocery stores but the quality is way better. I will be visiting this place a lot. I will also update this review if I have a different experience. Edit: Been here a few times now for sushi grade fish. Always fresh. The tuna is mild in flavor but good. The salmon is great! Separately, I got some shrimp which cooked up delicious.

Saturday 7/7/18 we purchased scrod stuffed with shrimp and the fish was bad. Last year we purchased steamers AND THEY WERE BAD, and steamers AGAIN BAD. I am absolutely all done with them. For goodness sake they do ONE thing seafood, you would think they would really try to do it right. What they have become is greedy. They should have thrown that shrimp stuffed scrod out on Tbursday or Friday but no they thought they could get another day out of something that was probably made Monday or Tuesday before the 4th ofJuly. Well, we are all done with Captains catch because we are sick of the bad seafood that comes out of there.
