Fish Market Camden NJ

PLF is a hidden gem in the lower mainline and the only store in the area that sells sushi-grade tuna and salmon. They are nestled in the corner of a small nondescript shopping plaza on Lancaster Avenue next to Tepper's Pharmacy and a few doors down from the former Dakota Pizza. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and their fish quality is superb. They also sell a small but good selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, and berries. And, they also prepare ready-to-go sushi, which I think is better than the local competition's.

This is my go-to place for fish on the main line. They have much fresher fish than the chain stores for not much money, plus it is supporting local businesses. In particular, you can order lobster steamed, cracked and cleaned, and they will prepare it in under an hour from their fish tank. Great way to prepare a lobster dinner without the hassle, mess and smell.

You will not find a better place for seafood than Philadelphia Lobster & Fish co. I've been going there for 5+ years to get super, I mean super fresh fish! They even carry sushi grade tuna as well, you'll never find that at a supermarket. Prices are high but so is a visit to the E.R. I'd rather pay extra for seafood here and know that it is fresh and that my family will no get sick from eating it. Anyhow.... Highly recommended!
