Capt'N Chucky’s is the best place to get seafood. You get what you pay for, very high quality, clean, and very friendly customer service. The crab cakes are outrageous, the steamed shrimp are excellent and the broccoli salad is phenomenal.

Capt'n Chucky's has the best Crab Cakes around. I have tried many other seafood retail stores and restaurants and they are not close. My second favorite thing is the Colossal Shrimp party trays. I get these for all my events. The shrimp are huge and the price is hard to beat. I highly recommend Capt'n Chucky's Newtown square.

As much as I love crab, I'm very particular about anything "seafood" related. For that reason it's a rarity that I'd patronize a place for the first time without checking the reviews. This time I made an exception and ended up regretting it terribly. First and foremost, the service left a lot to be desired. I got the feeling they were "doing me a favor" which really bothered me. My wife also pointed out some things related to cleanliness that made us both feel very uneasy. I can say with 100% certainty that the health inspector where I'm from would never allow it. Needless to say, we won't be back. I sincerely hope this review helps someone avoid the same experience we had.

The selection was fantastic. The woman at the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. Free samples piqued our palate. The best part was when we got the crab cakes home and ate them. So much lump crab meat and the cake was rather filling. Will definitely go back and try new selections.
