REVIEWS OF The Crazy Norwegians Fish and Chips IN Oregon

Ben Christenen

A great little privately owned restaurant. There are so few left that have not been killed off by the big box companies and fast food. I advise it.

Super Shopper

Great place to stop if you are in the area. Cool location next to a wayside. Yummy chowder that also comes in a sourdough bowl. Tip, got to try the pies, my kid loves the Razzleberry pie.

Florie Vendredi

If you are reading this, I truly wish that you have the time to enjoy The Crazy Norwegians! The food is absolutely fantastic and the tasting palette is curated with a lot of grace. Take the time to read the menu introduction to understand more about the hosts and their produces. You might have to wait a little while to get in but it will be worth it. Otherwise, have you food to go and enjoy while watching the panorama!

Bonnie Tanamor

I really enjoyed the fish and chips! I got a small order (two pieces of fish) and I can't believe how many chips (fries) I got. I could only eat a couple. The clam chowder was great. I loved the light sweet flavor of the coleslaw - no mayo. However the highlight of my meal was the Marion berry pie! It's the best pie I've EVER had. There is no skimping on the filling, the crust offset the sweetness of the filling perfectly. If you're in town for the weekend, stop here your first night and order a pie to take home! You need 24 hours notice and I believe it's $25. I was only in town for an overnight work trip, but I went back for lunch the next day and got an order of the fish tacos, which were also amazing! Grabbed a piece of pie to go for the hubby and I to share later. Seriously...the get the pie!!!

fast one

Fish and chips good. Slaw very dry. Service lacking. Never came by to refill tea. Had to go to register to get bill.

William Mueller

I'm so glad that I stopped here for dinner. The fish and chips were amazing! So was the homemade blackberry pie with ice cream. Everyone was so friendly, especially the owner, Diane. Can't wait to come again someday!

Laura Chynoweth

Great food and service.

Tara Johnson

Always busy so you might have to wait but it will be worth it. Excellent food and great service.

Dennis Kiddle

Crazy is the right word. its fantastic food and great staff worth going in and try it out.

Mario Alcala

Saw this place on the 13th BEST places to see on the Southern Oregon Coast. We drove 255 scenic miles to have lunch and it did not disappoint!! The tempura battered fish is the best! Light and flaky like no other. The Cod was thick and oh so fresh! The locally sourced Marionberries in the pie

Christiana Foley

I had my first waitressing position at this establishment. It was definitely the best too, in terms of price, cleanliness, freshness of food and customer service. The homemade pie was never kept past a few days, that's more than I can say for other places. Some restaurants will try to save a dime by sacrificing customer satisfaction. Not here. I also hate fish but will eat the fish that is served here. The owner sold it a few years back but it still tastes the same and appears as clean. I highly recommend!

Brennan Hill

I visited after several friends recommended it. The fries were cold, fish and chips were okay, as was the chowder, but there was way too much thyme in it. I had to ask twice for a spoon, then ask again when it was forgotten

Mary Evans

Super good fish and chips!!!The PIE was really good!!!

Terri Hawkins

My favorite place to get a chicken salad. Also great burgers.

Travis Shipp

A great experience. Recommended to anyone who appreciates fine food and house made pie. Everything was delicious

Jennifer Mitchell

This place is disgusting. An abundance of flies inside, moved twice to get away. Tried to cancel my order after an ant crawled across my arm. Waitresses were condescending, "just the way it is this time of year." Their attitude is from the manager, Diane; who I spoke to and takes no accountability for her restaurant's condition.

colista shoemaker

Fresh food made with care and friendly service!!!

Pete G

Drove for hours to get to this place as we heard it was great, website showed it closed at 8pm - rocked up a little after half 7 and it was closed, explained to the staff that we’d driven all the way from Tilamook to sample their renowned food, only to be told sorry there’s nothing I can do. Well if that’s how you treat your customers, you can keep your fish and chips, really hope your strategy works for you! Disappointed to say the least, next time you finish early at least amend your opening hours so other people don’t waist their time too!

Intellect Gaming

Amazing staff very friendly and accommodating great selection of food especially their specials of the day!

Cme32 mah

Wonderful place. Small unique. Friendly staff.

Stacey Archuleta

Great food and service!

KEL Letvinchuck

Great fish eatery. Modern vineland tasty creative ideas for meals. I'll be back.

Phil Engeldrum

Quality chowder with perfect texture. Thick cod pieces with just the right amount of coating. 5 stars.

Gary Armbruster

Good all around. Size of pieces seem smaller than when we were last while prices have increased. Still a good place to eat.

Steve Munch

Another stop without checking other reviews, and we hit another great spot. The fish & chips were great, as was the pie, and service made it seem like we were locals. Definitely well above the usual tourist stop.

Bam Bam

Great food, great staff.

Stephen Donnelly

Fish and chips were amazing. The owner was super friendly and made the best Coconut Cream pie ever and then shared the pie crust recipe after I raved about it. I will definitely be back for more!!!

Victoria Quennessen

Awesome atmosphere, food, and really great service. Also serves sandwiches and salads, not just fish and chips. Almost everything is made from scratch. So great.

Beverly Chavez

Great place to eat fish and chips..

Ana Pacheco

Delicious food! Had fish and chips, Greek salad and Marion berry pie. All amazing!

Linda Oleary

Best fish and chips I ever had.

Carol Music

Great food you have to try

Nancy Custer

Had the fish and chips. Fish was great but the tartar sauce they serve is absolutely AWFUL. Had a very odd flavor. They really need to stick to premade tartar sauce or find a basic recipe. Service was good.

Danyele Stone

The food was ok. The wait was long to get seated and to get our order in. Also took a long time to get our food. After eating our lunch while waiting to get our check I noticed purple lipstick on my husbands water glass. He told the waitress and they didnt even care. I am shocked they didnt even say sorry. I would not go there again.

Rebekah Anderson

Everything is made from scratch. Super delicious. I got the seafood combo and seafood chowder. My family got burgers and those were good too. Fries were awesome. Proportions were very generous.

Carol Wilson

Great fish tacos !

John Thompson

Best fish and chips ever. Perfect. Lightly breaded most big chunks of cod. Nice twist on the clam chowder with bacon and carrot dices. Service with humor and laughter. Very busy at noon. Hit it at 1:30. Perfect timing.

Ash Hogg

Perfect stop along the Oregon coast. Delicious chowder

Jeremy Paul Webster

Great food, great service and very convenient. Clearly a personal mission and passion for those who own and run it. Part of of the charm or Port Orford, where the town discourages franchise chains, resulting in a unique identity. Loved it!

Debra Wilson

DELICIOUS FOOD!! GREAT ATMOSPHERE!! Be prepared to wait up to 45 mins. It's worth it though!!

Willie Richard Johnson Projects

It was good but overrated by other reviews. Really good tarter sauce here.

Matthew Locke

Amazing fish and chips!

Jennifer

You won't find friendlier service and staff anywhere! The staff was kind and generous with our little hungry kids. The fish was fresh and delicious while also reasonably priced, which is rare on the coast. Stop in for the good food, stay a while for the warm welcome and good humor.

April Powell

Absolutely amazing!! Food was great! Waitress was great!! Had fish and chips and crab melt! Yumm!

Simon Stam

Great food and nice people

Tracy Fawns

Had a very disappointing experience. “Sayla”, the waitress, was over the top rude and loud. It was obvious she thought she was being efficient, as it was very busy. But she yelled at a patron to “put it back!” when she had grabbed a menu to look at while waiting. She also yelled at another group to “Wait outside!” once she had gotten their number of group members to wait for a table. She never checked on us once served. Many other customers were also aghast at her behavior and were discussing it between tables. Heather, on the other hand, was delightful and will be the only reason I will ever return. The food has also really gone downhill since my last visit a year ago. Very disappointed. I will give it another try, as perhaps it was a fluke. But not if Sayla is present. She needs to go, or at the very least she needs extensive customer service training or to find a different career. She ruined the experience for everyone in the restaurant.

Debbie King

Got Clam Chowder best on the coast

Matt Kleen

Keep driving. The fish and chips consisted of frozen fish sticks, undercooked, and severely freezer-burned. Rubbery and stale. Very odd interaction with defensive waitress who swore that the fish was fresh. No chance. Maybe they were out of fresh fish today. Not what we expected on the Oregon coast. In their defense, we haven’t found great fish and sticks anywhere yet with exception of the red food truck in the Jerry’s Jet Boat parking lot in Gold Beach.

BRIAN BANKS

This is our favorite resturaunt in port Orford, the staff is very kind and they are always willing to help you if you are a tourist. They help with your questions and have GREAT food. My personal favorite is their fish and chips, they are fantastic!

DAVE & KELLY

My wife and I both grew up in Oregon and have seen a lot of changes throughout the years, some good mostly bad, unfortunately, but the one thing that has stayed consistent for many many many years is the crazy Norwegians! Great food, excellent service, and Diane you are the best! Thank you for bringing back the jumbo clams!

Mauroner

Quite possibly the best fish and chips on the west coast

Ali Campbell

Great food and right by the beach! Luckily, the food looks better than this jelly!

Carl Fagerskog

Best fish 'n chips ever!

L D Brush

Very nice eatery in Port Orford. Not the best fish and chips I have ever had but by a very large margin the best I have had on the Oregon Coast.

81liljaybo

So I'll start by saying I'm from New England and have had my share of Sea Food. This place is excellent all around. The chowder rivals the best from the Cape. My girlfriend got the bread bowl with chowder and it was hands down 1 of the best. I got the combo and everything was cooked perfectly and flavored well. I thought the price and portions where fair. The staff is very friendly and the place is nice and clean. Next time I'm on the west coast I will stop here.

Scott Teix

The food came out quick and tasted great! The fish and chips were cooked to perfection

Justin Cheshier

AMAZING! Having grown up on the central California coast, (Big Sur) catching and eating seafood directly from the monterey bay, I am super picky about fish. Absolutely will not eat it if the locale isnt near the water. We were referred to this place by a good buddy who also spent some time living in monterey, loves the ocean and understands the aforementioned criteria. My wife and I stopped here on our return trip from north bend and camping/jeeping at the dunes on our way home to southern Oregon, Illinois valley, and we split a 6 piece of fish and chips. WOW. The crazy Norwegian did NOT disappoint, at all. Fish was super fresh, perfectly cooked and soooo good.

geri woodard

Always delicious recommend there coconut shrimp

Jason Wiechmann

Very good clam chowder and fish and chips. Very small and get busy really quick.

Gerald Glave

Great service, good fish & chips and a selection of craft beers. What's not to like?

William Reeves

Women were rude, cole slaw was stale and the small fish plate was two tiny pieces of fish. Other than that !

Miriam Sork

Delicious fish tacos and fish and chips! Worth the wait. Kitchen staff were having a good time while cooking. Very important in every business to have fun while working

Lee Wright

Rainy Saturday exploring the coast. I marked this as a unique eats when I searched hole in the wall food. Absolutely great. We had fish and chips, of course, big pieces and the tartar of great per the wife.

Bob Covey

Pretty average in all categories. The chowder could use more contents and less thickener, and the fish n' chips batter slid right off the fish. The fries were just ok, too. All in all, not horrible but not a place I would lobby to return to very often. Griff's chowder and fish n' chips were both better.

Nik Portela

What a delicious random find this was! Perfect coleslaw. Not creamy, but not super vinegary either. Fresh. The fish and chips were exactly what you hope to find on a drive up the coast. Super friendly too. You should go here.

jennifer ellis

Amazing fish and chips. We drove 4 hours cuz we had a craving. They never disappoint.

Brittany Gaines

Yummy clam chowder! Good selection of beer. I recommend going when they open to beat the crowds!

Larry Owen

If it's your first time through, try the fish and chips! They are amazing!

Kody Byrd

Service was slow. Had to wait at the counter for a bill. The lady didn't even refill our drinks. Fish and Chips were not that good.

Mellany Studer

Excellent service, great food..smaller establishment. Friendly staff..and very quick! I only gave 4 stars as my partner believed his cod was a little on the greasy side. I disagreed.

Debbie Graham

Loved this little spot! Everything we tasted was really well made. They do fish and chips right! Looking forward to our next visit.

David Moon

Homemade pies and breads make this an excellent choice. Small venue, so rush hour cnas mean a wait outside. Super yummy

Morgan J Rasmussen

So, the tartar sauce alone is worth the visit. Dill and pickle before the mayo. It could be that the local guys jawboning about this mornings catch could be staged, but I ate so much and had a $3.50 glass of red and didn't care!

Jeanne McCartney

Best post fourth lunch ever!

purpledawg

The fish and chips could have been a lot better if the cod hadn't still been dripping wet before frying. It made the batter too soggy and very mushy. The fries were standard, right out of a bag taste. They give a tiny amount of tartar sauce (maybe 1 oz) with a four piece order and expect you to pay for more. The staff got snide with me because I wanted to sit outside, but they said they don't do service out at their own tables in front of their restaurant. The waitress with the long black braid spoke way too loudly and made the interior of the building unbearable. The best part of the meal were the Andes mints.

Lance Vett

The Fish & Chips were pretty dang great

Philip Tse

Good service and delicious food. Ordered the fish and chips and seafood platter.

Caleb Dyer

The people who say they don’t like it fail to see the food is so good and they are so busy that the staff doesn’t have time for shenanigans. The food is amazing. Eat here. Expect normal, fast paced service. Food comes out FAST

Carrie McAlister

Food was ok, fish and chips were good, clam chowder was so so, bread was stale, coconut shrimp were huge and awesome. Service was ok but one of the ladies were slightly rude and off putting.

Kimberlee Dawn Lee

Great good, fast service, and friendly staff

Debra Colson

WAS THERE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. can't wait to go back. Staff was awesome we got there about 30 min before closing, great food and friendly service. Glad to see all the good reviewes...

Nicola Meeks

Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had!!

Brenna Santacroce

Delicious and reasonably priced! They are so busy, be prepared to leave your name and head down to the beach (1 minute drive).

Anand Prasad Kruttiventi

One of the best little restaurants I have been to. Excellent fish and chips, great atmosphere, full of laughing people, wonderful service! And I really liked the photos of Der Berserker Norske! No wonder some consider it to be one of the best seafood restaurants on Oregon coast.

Casey Love

We ordered coconut shrimp, crab cakes and clam chowder to go. The crab cake was not done completely but I was able to toss it into a pan and finish it off. Great food! Next time we'll eat in!

Eileen Harman

Excellent sprains and cod with reasonable prices.

Chris T

Great find. Diane the owner/server and chefs offer a wide variety of food ranging from traditional to local/farm fresh. Great beer/wine, meals and wow the homemade pies ! Great vibe, decor, music and hospitality.

Cassandra Kontas

Great service and very fresh seafood.

Laura Webster

Crazy indeed! Great little place - simple but delicious food at great prices. And lovely service.

Kristi Spackman

The food, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful. The blt with heirloom tomatoes was AMAZING. The fish and chips took 2nd place to the blt, but were also quite tasty.

Larry Spahr

Doors are open all the time so Flys all over inside, very loud music playing, people have to go to back of restaurant to put there name in for a table so they are standing over you at your table while waiting in line. But the food was good.

Wliilam Kennnedy

Great food , good prices , nice people

Melissa Morton

Best fish and chips I have had in Oregon!! 2 plates fed three of us

Marie B

This place is wonderful. The owners make you feel like your family over for Sunday dinner. Best fish sandwich I have ever had in my life! They make the sourdough bread from a generations old starter. Absolutely a place you must try in port orford.

Frank Powell

Friendly service, awesome food, great prices! Highly recommend anyone to eat here. Get the crab cakes, the clam chowder or the blackened tuna fishwich - your taste buds will be amazed! And, by the way, the homemade pies are out of this world! This was a great find while traveling through the area.

Deborah Baughman

This was great! Nice folks

Matthew Stoll

Completely random stop on our road trip up the coast, but so worth it! The fresh seafood and homemade pie were exactly what we needed! Not your average fish + chips joint..

Benjamin Dyer

Fantastic food in a fantastic location. This piece of Oregon history contains some of the best food in the area (maybe THE best food in the area?). Fish is super fresh, service is friendly and amazing, and the location can't be beat, sitting on the edge of the Pacific Ocean right by the Port Orford dock. Be sure to try one or all of the house made pies, they're all delicious. UFF-DA! Pro tip: the chef is from Louisiana, if there's a Cajun special try it out...

Brenda Dunigan

Good food and good service.

Tracy Gorsuch

O. M. G!!!! Best fish & chip everrrrr! Traveled up the coast and came upon this little hole in the wall that can't be beat. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming, with a very friendly staff and WE WILL BE BACK!!!. The pies are made fresh every morning and the coconut cream was addicting! I highly reccomend this amazing hidden gem!!!!

Nina Johnson

So glad we stopped here on our way down 101. Fish and chips was very good - the marionberry pie was amazing!!! And the people were wonderful.

Robert Johnson

Best fish and chips anywhere

JR Rojas

Great little place. I had the fish taco and a beer.

Roxanne Cooper-Vieyra

Staff was really rude this morning pushed our kid out of the way, couldn't seat us made us wait outside, when I went inside to ask for a menu female staff said we couldn't bring the menus outside but just as I left out the door two people were walking outside with a menu. I Will never eat there because of this, but we did go to a fine establishment down the road from them who happily seated all right of us and the food was delicious too TJ'S Cafe/Diner. The fish n chips were amazing at TJ's

Linda Fitts

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Busy but we got a seat with a short wait. Service was very slow but food excellent.

Kaitlyn May

AMAZING FOOD, the handmade sourdough bread bowl with house chowder is to die for ! We got some fresh cranberry juice and some other dishes that were great. Cool atmosphere and very nice service :) The honest, and only downside is the wait. It takes a while to be seated and for food. Quality food takes a little time. Well worth it...

Ashley East

This place is absolutely wonderful! The food, staff, and atmosphere was beyond amazing! Its been a while since Ive been comfortable during my meal and satisfied after going out to eat. I highly recommend checking this place out! I know I will be back!!

TerMar Pilz

We had the clam chowder and the fish and chips both dishes were delicious. The service was terrific. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I imagine it can get very busy at times. We also noticed they have homemade pies which looked outrageously good.

Michael Gillespie

What great food and wait staff! I think this is the best place to dine in Port Orford. Definitely have the fish and chips, but they also offer other options.

Czarina Strough

Amazing, fresh, fast, friendly, delicious and cozy! I eat here nearly every time I am in Port Orford. The fish/shrimp tacos are in my opinion the best on the coast, in the state, and of all time! Fresh fish caught locally, fancy restaurant flavors at a reasonable price. The chowder is hardy with a soft "kick" to it. This is the type of place that will keep you coming back for more. Whether you're headed to Port Orford for whale watching, fishing, crabbing, site seeing or just passing through to your next destination, do yourself a favor and stop in for some chow!

Cindy Barrett

Cute place to get some good food. They need more seating.

jeff ross

Over hyped mostly but decent place to eat when in town

Coolfrymaster

In all honesty the food/ fish & chips are really not that good but the place itself is definitley unique

Bill Sponseller

I had the 4 piece fish and chips and my wife had the 6 piece shrimp and chips. Over the years we have always had good food here (15 yrs).. This time not so great. My four piece fish and chips equaled the same amount you would normally get with a two piece order. Very small and not cooked very well. The fish were about 1" x 3" portions, and mostly batter. We drove from Charleston to eat there. Very disappointed with everything. Used to get a healthy serving of fish but now it;s more french fries than anything. They buy their fish here in Charleston where we live. Should have stayed home and ate at "Fisherman's Grotto" The "best" we have found over the years. This place has definitely gone down hill. More of a burger joint now. I can't recommend it for fish and chips or seafood...oh, and the prices are over the top for what you get. If you like french fries, ( not that great either) then you won't mind paying more. I could have gone to McDonald's for $5.00 and got way better french fries. I can't attest to the rest of their food, like their pies, burgers, etc. but they should stay out of the seafood business.

Michael Molineaux

Service was awesome even though it got busy. Food was really good. And good pie.

Leigh Wilson

I am not usually a big fan of fried anything, but their batter is light and crispy. Recommend seafood combo, fish and chips, shrimp combo, etc. Chips are delish, chowder is yummy, and if you leave room for dessert they have a nice selection of homemade pies. Quick, efficient, and friendly service.

Mark L.

Extremely good for and friendly staff

Leann Spurlock

We planned our drive to stop here the 2nd time. Great fish and the clam chowder is delicious

Mr. A

Great burgers, fresh fish, and large helpings for a reasonable price. Staff is always friendly and upbeat.

CJ T

Don’t know what all the rave reviews are about, our experience was horrible. Cranky staff, crowded, noisy. Supposedly everything is fresh and “scratch” made. Had fish and chips, fish tasted fishy and soggy, like frozen from a box, coleslaw tasted like stale refrigerator. Even the tartar sauce wasn’t good. And the pie was pretty flavourless, as well. People must not know what good fish & chips taste like!! Very pricey and not worth the wait, left hungry. Won’t go back.

Robert Noorda

Great fish & chips at a fun little restaurant. After you eat, walk down to the beach and try to see some whales!

Nat

Stopped on the way home from camping trip. We just saw it on the side of the road and thought the name was funny. The place it pretty small but cute. Food was good. We stuck with the fish&chips, you can’t screw up those. It was a bit busy when we stopped by and it was confusing if we should go to the register and order food or pick a table (maybe there is a sign and we missed it). But the server (later I figured out she was the person in charge/owner(?)) that was bringing food around got very annoyed by us standing there. Well, if you know the drill you should just say, “Hey, guys! Go ahead and grab a table!”. I think she might be used to the regulars who know the drill and is annoyed by new comers. But another server was taking care of us and she was very polite and helpful. They also had some yummy sounding desserts but we were full after our lunch.

William Waters

The clam chowder had no flavor it was very bland and very thin like it was made with flour and water. The fish was very plain and not much good to say about the coleslaw either.although when we were leaving someone had berry pie and ice cream in that look good but we didn't have any.

Barbara Burbank

Terrible Ambience. Food marginally good. Ordered fish and chips. Batter on top good soggy underneath. Crab cakes? Really, I make better crab cakes.

Lorinda Forrest Meyer

Super delish fish! Small, cute, colorful restaurant. Fun staff. Worth a visit.

Laurie Milliard

Fantastic food! Famous fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce. I had fried oysters, some of the best ever! Really great clam chowder, chock full of clams, potatoes, and carrots. Desserts are great too. Everything home made!

Niko Makarov

Brilliant little spot, what a treat. Got the rock fish special fish and chips, which was perfect; crunchy batter and moist inside. Clam chowder and pie were also great. Exactly what we were looking for, wish there were more places like this on the coast. Definitely ask about any bottled beer special, never know what you’re going to get. We were pleasantly surprised they had an Oktoberfest by Ayinger.

Destiny Cunningham IG: dezr

I really Really wanted to like this place but I was just not that impressed. The food was only okay, the tartar sauce for the fish and chips was weird runny and had a weird twang with dill. The Bus Girl was Awful! Very rude and condescending. The Hostess was kind and did a good job, but the blonde bus girl just the worst. My sister didnt even want to tip her, I refuse to not tip someone. But I understood why my sister didn't. I liked the Clam Chowder pretty well, but next time I'm going to the nicer restaurant up the road.

Terry B

Outstanding clam chowder, great service, and homemade pie!

Natalia Pokrovskaia

Great food! Fresh sea food, amazing fish and chips. Very affordable! Very nice staff! I would definitely stop by again on my next trip!

Marcus Kearney

Fresh fish and friendly staff. They pulled the chef out of the back to give me local surfing recommendations

Mark Hamilton

If you are on US101, and come into Port Orford, you must stop, go no further, if they are closed, wait! This is the best fish and chips in the world! Be prepared for a wait because anyone who knows, knows to stop there for great seafood. Order your food to go, and walk down to the ocean view steps down the street, it is beautiful. Seriously, this should be on your bucket list, it is that good.

Christi Gal

Love this place when we are passing through. They are always busy and the food is always awesome.

Tye Hardison

Excellent food and service. Hand the Alaskan cod. I didn't have room for desert, but they make a bunch of different pies.

Derreck Johnson

Used to be outstanding now its just fair!

Jason Boettcher

Awesome food. Nice people working here. Awful long wait at lunch time. Yes it was worth it, but I hate waiting. Marion berry pie is killer.

jered reynolds

Best fish and chips I have had since I was in the UK. The oysters are super fresh and the fries are good too.

Edgar Tooley

They are crazy busy. The food was great everything treated custom. The flavors you expect with just a little something special. Good WiFi if you need send some photos to loved ones you are not with Berry pies were gone so I guess that experience will wait for next time. Everyone in our party of four ordered something different and it was all good.

Judy Castillo

Great food but terrible experience. Our waitress was so rude from when we told her how many were in our party to her taking our order she just had an attitude. Didnt expect some of the things she said to the other guest as well. other than that the food was fast and good.

Ken Nunez

By far the best crab cake and fish in chips I've had, the fish was literally about an inch thick. It was delicious! The crab cakes had lots of flavor and if your driving by I highly recommend stopping here and treating yourself. FYI they close during the winter starting on November 7th.

william hornung

Love the atmosphere, the fish ans chips where delicious. !!!

Grant Sumpter

Just go it's great.

Carrie O'Malley

Had the mushroom and onion grilled cheese sandwich. Big and packed with fat mushrooms. And the coleslaw was the best I've ever had. And the prices were reasonable.

Storm Brown

Food was good, homemade and a little rough for it, but tasty and nice little spot.

julia terry

Casual, fun, good plentiful food. Mainly seafood, but burgers and sandwiches.

Jean E. Whalen

Great service and even better food! I had the crab cakes and fried oysters and they were absolutely delicious! My 10 year old son, who considers himself a connoisseur of Clam Chowder, said it's the best he's ever had. We shared the locally made Blueberry Pie which was scrumptious. The staff were friendly and the owner even took the time to chat with my son who was full of questions and comments. We will definitely return!

Corrin Hoyer

I got a crab melt with coleslaw. It. Was. So. GOOD. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, the crab and cheddar combo made my heart soar, the coleslaw was light and refreshing compared to the hearty sandwich. All in all, I would recomend!

Rob Hess

very nice and quick service. I ordered the clam chowder, my wife ordered the crab sandwich. the crab sandwich gets a 10 the clam chowder was more a potatoe chowder and gets a 3. I would like to return and try more items on the menu. the pie look delicious!

Jim Spinosa

Great oyster po boy + cod. Amazing pie. Well worth the stop!

Violet Crush

I had the fish and chips. They were light and crispy. The servers were kind and funny..I liked their personalities. I again had the boisenberry pie...it rich and tart, not too sweet and the crust was flaky and buttery. Highly recommend.

Marc Jordana

I think the fish & chips reviews are a bit overrated. It was ok but I’ve been in much better places (I have to say I prefer when it’s crispy, which is not the case). However, the place is very nice and somehow authentic. The staff is superfriendly. Desserts are amazing!

Rachel G

The fish sandwich is delicious. Fresh fish and generations-old homemade sourdough bread together make this sandwich one of the best I’ve ever eaten. For dessert, do yourself a favor and order the Marion berry pie with ice cream. One of the best in the state!

tim lawton

Fresh fish and chips

Mike Wilps

The owner is amazing! The food lipsmacking! Atmosphere authentic!

Matthew Mountain

Very well done. The fish was delicious. All the sides were amazing. The prices were great, especially for the area. The service was impeccable. Would definitely return. Great place!

Michael Semrau

Best restaurant in town! Wonderful service, generous portions and excellent quality.

Christine Langenwalter

Friendly service, fun atmosphere and great food! We were able to park our RV on the street. Highly recommend!

First time to have lunch in Port Orford and we chose well. Blown away by their choice of using fresh ling cod for fish & chips. We had it grilled. It was excellent as were their fries cooked in fresh oil. Both the slaw and green salad were excellent. Add great service after a 10 minute wait for a table and we came away very pleased to have a new lunch destination in the area.
