I love to review places I love. Although I don't visit as often as I would like I to, this shop has top quality fish and I am never disappointed when I go. There seems to be a nice variety of seafood . Fitts' helpful staff is also friendly. I feel very welcomed here when I shop here and it brings me back to the time when there were mom and pop markets on the neighborhood street corners with familiar, friendly grocers who remembered our names or at least our faces; only this market only sells mostly just really nice fish. If you like what the local Pacific has to offer, give Fitts Seafood a try.

I usually come for lunch. They have a bowl of the most amazing clam chowder for 4 dollars. And this stuff is the real deal, none of this searching around in the bowl for one little minced clam piece. Their chowder is LOADED with clam! I've also purchased their seafood. They have great service, and you might have to wait a little while to get clams but it's because the quality is so good. Their tilapia fillets are amazingly fresh and delicious.

My first impression was how clean the place smelled for being seafood establishment. They carry a large variety of fresh and frozen seafood; as well as a nice selection of seafood salads and dips. I was impressed with the many different spices and rubs available for preparing seafood too. We enjoyed the sole, scallops, crabmeat, seaweed salad, and clam dip.

I really liked this place. Quite a few options. Prices were market. Not less expensive, but definitely not over priced. Especially for the quality. There's no place that can beat fitts for fresh seafood. They also have other fresh and frozen meats, along with every spice, rub, and sauce you would want.

Moulard and Magret duck, Foie Gras, Guinea Fowl, Goma Wakame, things you wouldn't expect to find in the mall store in Salem Oregon.. normally big city items. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
