The employees were so friendly! They answered all our questions about the menu. I loved the salmon chowder, halibut fish n chips and fried oysters. Halibut comes with 2 large pieces, coleslaw and french fries. Fried oysters are a dozen. I'll be coming back to try the cod fish n chips and clam chowder. Annnnnnd also another order of fried oysters. How can you not?!

Amazing combo fish market restaurant. We had a limited special, fish tacos for Cinco de Mayo. Battered and deep fried cod with fresh cabbage slaw, onions and cilantro with a house dressing with an spicier option. Avoided fish tacos for years but no longer. They were delicious. We were told that they may add them to their regular menu. Yay!!! Also tried Half-size Salmon Spread on Ciabatta bread. It looked a bit plain but the flavor was outstanding. The salmon spread had several layers of flavor and a little kick. Ciabatta bread was warmed with the right balance of soft and chewy. That also serve beer and wine. Excellent, friendly service.

Amazing fish. The smoked collars and fried sturgeon fish n chips are true stars. Fish is fresh-caught from the river so everything is amazing quality. They brine and smoke the fish so it’s super moist, very fragrant, kind of sweet, the flavor is superb. The fish n chips are breaded very lightly and expertly fried. Outdoor area is a great place to sit too

Being from the zone of eastern standard time, I’m not used to salmon fish & chips, but this salmon was just so fresh and so delicious. Maybe west coasters take it for granted, but I was blown away. I would definitely eat here again, and again, and again. I would go full Reese Witherspoon Wild just to eat here.

Probably the worse fish I've ever had. Rubber texture and fishy taste. Not what you want for Alaskan halibut. Macaroni bites are some cheap brand of something like that boxed Kraft junk. I am not sure how the have good ratings on Yelp.

The staff was nice and totally upfront about the ingredients of prepared foods and the fish selections. We were between seasons and they only had one fresh option. We chose a frozen and it was great, still cooked up nicely and tasted fresh. I agree with a previous review in that some of the frozen were priced a tad higher than they should have been.

We normally love this place, the service and esp. the Chinook, when in season, is Fabulous but we had quite a memorable negative experience recently. If it had been our first time there, we wouldn't return. Do not order the Smoked Salmon Nachos which includes Tortilla Chips, Unmelted Shredded Cheese, Shredded Smoked Salmon, Salsa, Pico & Sour Cream and Coleslaw. We requested to have all the extra items on the side so we could add what we wanted. Even though onions and jalapenos were not listed as items, we were asked multiple times if we wanted them. We declined. Placing our order became more of an ordeal than it should have. Do not ask for the cheese to be melted on the tortilla chips (b/c they don't have a way to melt the cheese, unless they heat up the smoker which can take up to 30 min.) that only brings out a confrontational staff member who will state, "I heard there's a problem" which there wasn't until she came to our table explaining how they serve FRESH cheese and the Smoked Salmon Nachos was intended to be more like a dip. After unsuccessfully attempting to have the cheese melted, a very kind employee (wearing a ball cap) who we've encountered before, offered to give us a complimentary quesadilla even after we stated that wasn't necessary. Kudos to that employee. Great way to take care of a customer. But instead, we received intervention from "The Other Employee" - the one who took our order (No ball cap) and no quesadilla.

This is a fish market that also sells Fish & Chips, and Clam or Salmon chowder. There is a small eating area for about 20 people. The employees are very knowledgeable about the fish they sell. They made good recommendations and backed them up with solid rationale. My wife and I ate there, and both had Halibut fish and ships and shared a small salmon chowder. I have never ordered fish and chips before when I could select what kind of fish I wanted (see menu photo). The market breads their own halibut. Fish for sale is clearly marked whether fresh or frozen. Salmon is local. They don't offer formal table service, but they do bring the food to the table and bus the table when we are done. There is self-serve water available for free and soft drinks available as well. Simple, but exceptional taste and service. Very friendly staff. I'm a loyal customer now! Went here as Country Market was closed. I'm English and being a trawlerman's son, know something about fish and chips - I generally avoid it in the US as you never seem to get a single large fillet - always several small goujons which is a recipe for horrible dry fish and chips. So I tried the Salmon and Chips which was both novel (we never deep fry salmon in England) and thoroughly delicious. Importantly the salmon remained juicy and the seasoned flour coating was perfect instead of batter. I'm gonna steal that method when I get back to England. Recommended!!

Probably the worse fish I've ever had. Rubber texture and fishy taste. Not what you want for Alaskan halibut. Macaroni bites are some cheap brand of something like that boxed Kraft junk. I am not sure how the have good ratings on Yelp.

The staff was nice and totally upfront about the ingredients of prepared foods and the fish selections. We were between seasons and they only had one fresh option. We chose a frozen and it was great, still cooked up nicely and tasted fresh. I agree with a previous review in that some of the frozen were priced a tad higher than they should have been.

We normally love this place, the service and esp. the Chinook, when in season, is Fabulous but we had quite a memorable negative experience recently. If it had been our first time there, we wouldn't return. Do not order the Smoked Salmon Nachos which includes Tortilla Chips, Unmelted Shredded Cheese, Shredded Smoked Salmon, Salsa, Pico & Sour Cream and Coleslaw. We requested to have all the extra items on the side so we could add what we wanted. Even though onions and jalapenos were not listed as items, we were asked multiple times if we wanted them. We declined. Placing our order became more of an ordeal than it should have. Do not ask for the cheese to be melted on the tortilla chips (b/c they don't have a way to melt the cheese, unless they heat up the smoker which can take up to 30 min.) that only brings out a confrontational staff member who will state, "I heard there's a problem" which there wasn't until she came to our table explaining how they serve FRESH cheese and the Smoked Salmon Nachos was intended to be more like a dip. After unsuccessfully attempting to have the cheese melted, a very kind employee (wearing a ball cap) who we've encountered before, offered to give us a complimentary quesadilla even after we stated that wasn't necessary. Kudos to that employee. Great way to take care of a customer. But instead, we received intervention from "The Other Employee" - the one who took our order (No ball cap) and no quesadilla.

This is a fish market that also sells Fish & Chips, and Clam or Salmon chowder. There is a small eating area for about 20 people. The employees are very knowledgeable about the fish they sell. They made good recommendations and backed them up with solid rationale. My wife and I ate there, and both had Halibut fish and ships and shared a small salmon chowder. I have never ordered fish and chips before when I could select what kind of fish I wanted (see menu photo). The market breads their own halibut. Fish for sale is clearly marked whether fresh or frozen. Salmon is local. They don't offer formal table service, but they do bring the food to the table and bus the table when we are done. There is self-serve water available for free and soft drinks available as well. Simple, but exceptional taste and service. Very friendly staff. I'm a loyal customer now! Went here as Country Market was closed. I'm English and being a trawlerman's son, know something about fish and chips - I generally avoid it in the US as you never seem to get a single large fillet - always several small goujons which is a recipe for horrible dry fish and chips. So I tried the Salmon and Chips which was both novel (we never deep fry salmon in England) and thoroughly delicious. Importantly the salmon remained juicy and the seasoned flour coating was perfect instead of batter. I'm gonna steal that method when I get back to England. Recommended!!

My brother-in-law wanted to purchase some smoked fish to take back to Indiana with him, but everything that they had had to be kept cold & with today's airport security, probably would not had passed through. They were realky disappointed in that. If they were staying in the area for a greater period of time they might have purchased something ro eat here.

Really great service and great fish and chips. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and we still served with a smile. Had the halibut and chips. The halibut came as sticks, but you still got a good bit of perfectly cooked fish. The chips are.really good, not cold or.soggy. You have to trust a place that has real malt vinegar! They also have different batter options including gluten free. The prices are very reasonable for the portion. I'd go back if in the area again.

Delicious fish and chips. I had the cajun style halibut and loved it. Their delightful layer of homemade batter is light enough to let the flavor of the halibut shine. The cole slaw is very tasty. Their cheese quesadilla is crisp on the outside and full of gooey joy. The smoked salmon here is delicious. The only real downside is that it can be rather noisy. Sounds a bit like an echo chamber when customers stop in to buy smoked salmon or some of the other seafood items from the cooler.

The chowdah was way better than mine so two thumbs up on the clam chowdah also. Dude in the kitchen was quite speedy. In @ 11:00am out fed full and happy in 29 minutes. The only thing better than good food is good food cooked to order quickly. You can also grab some fresh fish to cook at home. A tad expensive but considering where the fish originated the overhead of an Oregon business coupled with the fact that they were probably closed due to the Forrest fire last summer we were ok paying. We are making an effort to stop in Cascade locks and spend $ as often as possible. As for Brigham fish market, we will be back.
