Fantastic seafood everytime. Love it!. My favorite is the Guppy sandwich but everything else is always amazing. Great specials. And the prices aren't bad either. They also have seafood at their market that you likely won't find anywhere else in town and its always fresh.

Tiny portions for the sides, crab was still frozen when it came out but the waitress rectified that. When it was cooked it was the best crab in town though. Their potatoes didn't have much flavor though. But I had a good time.

This might be the only place in town with fresh oysters. Doesn't seem to have a liquor license however so if you want a little white wine with oysters you'd have to bring it home and which it yourself.

I went there for lunch. I got there at 12:09 my son got there at 12:12 we ordered after a few minutes, at about 12:40 the waitress said they where plating our food at 12:50 i got up and looked fro the waitress she was just coming with our food. I told her I have to get back to work she asked if she good box it up she boxed up my sons I told her I had to get back to work and didn't have time she ran my credit card and charged both meals I have never been so mad I took my card and left my son had to go to work to he stayed and took both meals so I didn't get any lunch. You should post don't come to lunch unless you have two hours. Also there was a gentleman that come in right before me he got his lunch and left before we even got our lunch. Also I don't know if you didn't have mashed potatoes but waitress said there was a mix up with her and the kitchen she told the gentleman that I was referring to earlier the same thing. Very Very poor service!!!!!! It's not like you were busy either their was only a couple tables with people.

Everything about this place is awesome! There are so few places to get seafood in Fargo-Moorhead, so the bar isn't exactly high...but Deep Blue exceeds that bar and sets a new standard for any seafood-focused restaurant in the area. Food and service were awesome. This clam chowder is some of the best I've ever had. I could eat two bowls of it and call it a meal. Spectacular! Oh, and make sure to get some fresh fish to make at home, too!

Service can appear to be a tad slow compared to many casual restaurants, but the seafood is impeccable and cooked fresh. At times the wait staff are overwhelmed and look like they could use some help from counter sales staff. Food is alway worth the wait. Recommend the fish tacos!

The smoked salmon dip appetizer was absolutely amazing, but the shrimp sandwich had rather cheap tasting and disappointing bread. It's a neat place inside and I liked the feel, will definitely return.

Based on my first visit, very high quality food. I had fish and chips with some hushpuppies. The fish is Atlantic cod and the piece I had was excellent. No "fishy" taste or odor at all--very impressive considering they're a thousand miles from the Atlantic. It was beer battered and fried to perfection; as were the fries. The tartar sauce was very well done with a lot of flavor without being too mayonnaisy. The roumelade was also very well done. Looking forward to returning and trying their other menu options, especially the Lobster Philly which is only served on Wednesdays.

Tried the dinner menu at Deep Blue..the entrees didn't feature too many items that weren't breaded, but they were nicely done. The coconut-lime rice was a fresh take. The red beans were dry, pasty and looked unappealing. Fresh oysters were delicious, but more info on differences of sources needs to be supplied to wait staff. Hoping to see a broiled filet of the day soon! We'll definitely return.

Thanks to my buddy wanting oysters for dinner we found Deep Blue Seafood. We had a great time. The waitress was hilarious and amazingly accommodating of my unusual food allergies. I had the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. The cilantro lime sauce should be bottled and sold as a beverage. Thanks for a great meal to finish out our visit to Fargo. Should have taken pictures, but we were hungry and totally forgot.

The takeout seafood salads and fish are the best I've ever had. My wife and I routinely come by and raid their stocks of tuna salad and mako shark filets. The in-house dining could use some work. It's not bad, it's just that the takeout is so much better.

As a seafood lover it's hard to find any good seafood in north dakota but Deep blue has an excellent selection of many different things and they let you know what's freash. Nicely done interior nautical style, staff is friendly and their to educate the different types of fish. Shrimp po boy was excellent and can't wait to try more!

Still waiting on our food after over an hour. Hope it's worth the wait. Server forgot to put order and she thinks it cute and funny, not so much. No compensation. Very disappointed. Was going to give 3 stars, but server was rude about the whole deal of late order. She forgot my clam chowder had to ask for it. Clam chowder was not good at all. Average food and very poor service. Server heard me say her cute and funny act wasn't appealing and she had the nerve to say I'm not trying to be cute and funny. Wow horrible experience and no apology of any sort. At least offer a little discount. Don't think I will ever be back

Its was good, for Fargo. After all we are in the middle of the continent. The location was nice and seemes alright. fresh fish available, however it was extremely limited to 4 selections. As far as fresh food, I couldnt tell how fresh or how old it was. My gator bites were so over seasoned thats all you could taste. The texture was good flavor was sub par and way over priced. The fish and chips was average. The filet wasnt. It was a rolled up pice or meet under cooked and no flavor what so ever, and smelled like a fish market. Its fish, I get that. This was like the smell you would imaging while on the fishing boat. I bit of salt and pepper can go a long way. Fries were good. Maybe we just came on the wrong day or they were running out of stuff. Im not sure. Over all we were not pleased. Over priced and need to re evaluate the recipies or menues. Needs a bigger selection of fish in the market. 2.5 stars 3 at best.

First time there. Had oysters on the half shell that were so so good, fresh and ice cold! Gator bites were awesome and so was the cod sandwich. Kitchen closes at 6 pm which is too bad, they turned away about 8 people at 6:15 that came to eat. I will definitely be back!

For Fargo, this is a welcomed option. I had tuna + cranberry salad. Good texture and flavor. I prefer less mayo, but overall it was a treat. The shark bites had a lot of buffalo sauce so I couldn't get a good taste of the fish. Again, this wasn't a significant issue. The homemade chips were a crunchy, not too salty addition I appreciated. I'll be back. It's worth looking for in the strip mall.

By far, the BEST seafood in the FM area. Bee and John source the cleanest tasting seafood I've ever put into my mouth. The staff is friendly and really helpful and their lunch menu is top notch. Try the tuna sandwich, fresh steamed tuna, cranberries and the bread is so damn good! Words can't express this sandwich.

.I stopped in for the first time and stated it was my first time visiting instead of let me help you with suggestions I felt like I was a burden unlike the couple filling there basket . I had a few seafood questions and wanted to ask about prawns but left instead . Unsure if I will return. the place was clean and the menu looked good maybe I will try again. I did try again the other day and the place was packed got greeted with a smile and grabbed a tub of gulf shrimp and some old bay seasoning ..gonna eat there one day when less packed .now if I could get some prawns I'd be happy ..

Food was great, staff seemed very overwhelmed, only one server during lunch rush. Waited 45 for our food, I was brought the wrong dish, she did comp my meal and was very apologetic and nice. Felt kinda bad for her. She did her best so this rating got a 3 because of her and food was great. Otherwise I would have given it a 0. Get it together management and staff accordingly during rush times. One server for 10+ tables is total BS. I'm assuming the kitchen was understaffed as well at the slow rate the food was coming out.

My brother took me here for a birthday lunch. We both had the fish and chips good. We had a cup of clam chowder but way too thick! Good taste but I don't like it thickened that much. I will come back to try a few other items on the menu, the service was great,!!

I went in last week for the first time and it was still in its beginning stages. Not a ton of product but its to be expected. Staff was busy with another customer so I was not greeted at all. Decided to stop in on my way home from work and see if it had improved in the past week. They had much more of a selection and I bought 2 different items. Unfortunately when I got home and unwrapped them, it was obvious that both items were on the back end of shelf life. Not bad by any means but definitely not the freshest. I understand there will be kinks to be worked out logistically so Im not upset. Both product were edible and it was nice having something different for a change. I hope this place gets their feet under them quickly as I would be a regular customer if things were regularly fresh. Overall, at this point in time 5/10 but I will try one more time when they can get up and running!

Was not very impressed. Had heard good reviews so we decided to try it while in Fargo. We.were rushed to order bcas thay lock the doors at 8 even though 9 is listed as the closing time. Food order was not correct and really there was no apologies for the screw up. Just seemed like everyone kust wanted to leave. We paid $83 dollors, left a more than we should have tip and left. DON'T KNOW IF I WILL GIVE IT A SECOND TRY....

My family and wife's friend's family stopped by Deep Blue Seafood for lunch on 6/8/2019. Great food and customer service from the waitress who helped us. She was so patient to first-time customers. However, my rating is based on the fact that the other waitress was very rude to our daughter, which makes the beautiful, unique, and rustic restaurant unfriendly to kids. The waitress yelled at our five years old daughter very harshly, "Get out of the way I am here to work." Our daughter was very troubled with her tone and words all the way home. Our daughter even said, "Mom, why the waitresses never said please to me....but instead yelled at me". As parents, we thought the waitress was disrespectful to our daughter and us. Also, business-wise I believe you need to respect kids since they are your future customers. Non-violent communication is an excellent skill for customer service, especially in the restaurant industry.

First time here. I tried the shark bites as they are supposed to be a customer favorite, not mine. They came in small square bite size pieces. Some were flakey and some were chewy hard, all were pretty much tasteless. My wife and mother in law had the tiny lobster. They chop them in half and grill them making them a bit tough and very hard to scrape out of the shell. Not high on our list for a revisit.

Fresh seafood place Doesn't use any middleman or seafood from muddy waters, only from small boats and family business. Service was quick. Decent prices. Generous servings. They have baskets, salads, success, spices, etc! Awesome rustic decor. A bit chilly in there while I ate. I highly suggest checking this place out. A great alternative to Red Lobster, even better.

Newly remodeled for a more comfortable dining experience. I go there for a good verity of seafood, fresh each day. I was thinking about steamed clams and mussels, for a diner party were having. The guy behind the counter, was a huge help. He took the time to explain to me the way he cooks them, sounded delicious. Can wait to make them this weekend. I've also tried the fresh fish and shrimp, always wonderful. This place is a must, if you like seafood.

WOW, WOW, WOW! I grew up in Ory-Gun (that's how we pronounce it) on the coast. Ever since being in Fargo I've always wished for a Fish Monger like this..now I have one. And as close to back home as I could have imagined. Newly remolded (and the place was packed today) Freshness that's off the chain. Selection all I can say AMAZING! Fargo does not have a Kosher market, but wait I can get smoked White Fish for Jewish smoked white fish salad! Beautiful live lobsters!! When I first walked in the staff is SO friendly and helpful. They take such pride in working in one of Fargo's premier markets. The frozen selections are equally fantastic. NO freezer burn, you can see the freshness through the packaging. I will never buy seafood any other place of have a seafood lunch or dinner than Deep Blue. Thank you so much for bringing this to Fargo, Jamie
