My husband ordered fresh Blue Crab from the coast for my Birthday, and I must say..It was amazing!! The crabs were alive and had great size and flavor! My friends and I had crab flying, garlic butter dipping going all all evening. We have plans to do this again! Thanks for the excellent blue crab, and service!!

This place is great! Fresh seafood...this is the spot! Should really try the burgers, they are amazing.. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they are out of stuff often (due to price and demand) and selection gets limited. I know this can be considered a good thing in a way and if I could do 4.9 I would. I will definitely tell people about this place.

In terms of the seafood, its not as fresh as they make it out to be. I just spent $17/lb on fish today here that I mistakenly assumed would be fresh considering the price. I take it home and notice my house fill with the smell of fish immediately after washing it and the uncooked meat to have a milky white color. This is abnormal for "fresh" $17 per pound mahi. I cooked it, ate two bites, and threw it away. I incorrectly assumed that nice staff meant a quality honest business. The surrounding grocers offer similar quality fish for a lot less.

I came in late after I got off work, probably about 30 minutes before they closed; which is a no no anyways. But they were super nice, even carried my 100 oysters to my car for me. And helped me when I got my keys stuck on the counter.

I buy fish here all the time. I buy a lot of fish from many different places when I travel. I am very familiar with many different types of fish. I catch fish, I fillet my own fish, and I am very aware of how to identify fish from its appearance as well as judge it's freshness. So considering how much fish I've personally caught or bought, cooked and ate - this place is in fact as fresh as you will find regarding fish markets. I've been to coastal fish markets that don't always have fish as fresh. I've personally noticed that they aren't overstocking on anything in particular, so they are always moving product and getting fresh new product in. I stop in here as often as I can. They are also very familiar with their product; they know when it came in and they know where it's from. The owner has personally waited for me after normal business hours (on new years eve) and they have been very accommodating on many occasions. They have great prime beef selection also. I highly recommend this place not just because it's local and because we have limited options. I recommend them because they are very reasonable priced, they are very accommodating, they have very fresh product, they are very knowledgeable about what they sell, and they also have a lot of whole fish available as well although they usually sell it already filleted. On another note they also occasionally get blue fin tuna which is incredibly hard to find at fish markets. All in all, a great local asset to anyone that loves fresh seafood.

Great place for your sea food needs. Variety of fish, steak, and shellfish. Oysters are priced right as well as crabs. If your having a low country boil make sure you stop by Dock Side for all your supplies. Great service with prep tips for all your cooking needs.
