Food is good! The guys on the sushi bar are wonderful! I’m giving it one start because the manager Mathew is horrible and disrespectful. We sat on the bar (as always) he came aggressively and made us stand up because a party of three people were supposedly be on waiting list to the bar. At the end no one came to sit. When we approached him to ask what happened, he just said ‘YOU DON’T HAVE TO COME BACK’. We really hope the owners of this places take a close look into this mean manager, his attitude is definitely not the right one.

One of the best seafood restaurants in the city. The decor is reflective of an actual boat, which sets high expectations of their seafood. Fortunately, they deliver on each expectation! The choice of oysters are all great and the wine list is broad yet well thought through. Plenty of entrees to choose from and all delicious. I spent some time at the bar while i was there too. They make excellent drinks. Wish the bar wasn't as crowded. The staff was also very considerate and worked hard for us. Overall great dining experience, would totally come back.

The portions are tiny! The sushi is delicious and the sparkling saké is yummy too. Atmosphere is wonderful. But my family didn’t have an amazing time because of the tiny tuna tacos and tiny ravioli. The rainbow roll was also on the smaller side of many rainbow rolls I’ve had. Would come back for a date night for the atmosphere and stick to sushi.

Extremely expansive, I ordered most expensive sushi selection cost 75$ was thinking that it would be much but it was just 6 peaces of sushi and 4 pcs of sashini owful. Not tasty at all.... there are way better spots to have fresh and reasonable price sushi in NY.. Place is to much noise you cannot hear if your partner is not shouting

A traditional celebratory favorite over the years. This year, our son's 30th birthday with family was no exception. Still fun and lively. Attentive service. Great raw clams. Succulent and perfectly cooked fish. It is the only place in Manhattan I'll actually go downstairs to dine for its ship-like atmosphere. We'll never forget a few years back when Mike Bloomberg and Chuck Schumer stopped by to say hi. And stayed for a long chat. Always a people-watching scene. And. One of those consistently good spots for return rendez-vous.

This spot is an annual spot we go to kick off summer. Oysters and rose with sashimi is how we roll and the place always delivers. Great bartender and good vibes makes the time here super enjoyable. The oysters , as per my friends, are just too good and a must when you go here.. The yachtsman feel goes over well. High praise all around. Service could be faster but the food is good and the restaurant is impeccably clean, especially the restrooms, some of the cleanest I’ve seen in the 3000 or so restaurants I have been to!

So, I usually come here for restaurant week, almost every restaurant week, and while I know I'm not the typical patron, I had a very disappointing experience. The worst experience I've ever had there. I had a reservation for two on Wed July 31, 2019 at 6:15 pm. We were seated at table 42/1 and our server was Jacob K. (Chk 2831, Receipt time 6:31 pm) I ordered off of the RW, restaurant week, menu and my partner just ordered Sapporo and clam chowder soup as his entrée. A party of two women came in shortly and were seated at the table next to ours. Their orders were taken in a much more timely fashion than ours and an hour later one woman finished up her entrée and the other woman was finishing up hers and there was no sign of either of our entrees. I went to the restroom and when I came back out our order had arrived at 7:20 pm, not because it magically showed up, but because my partner had asked the waiter about our order. The ladies next to us were asked for their dessert choices and whether or not they wanted coffee or tea as well. I thought to myself, a cup of tea would be nice. I hadn't finished my entrée when the waiter asked if I was done. I was still working on it. I started timing everything to be honest because of my frustration. I was done with dinner at 7:30 pm. The dessert I ordered, the peach cobbler was brought out at 7:46 pm and we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea and our check was brought to us without either of us asking for it. Full disclosure, I left a small tip but wish I hadn't left anything. The food was good but the experience left a bad aftertaste. I'm not sure if it was a race thing, I'm Asian and my partner is Honduran, or if it's a class issue or a RW issue. The women seated next to us were Caucasian and they also ordered off of the RW menu but they had a far different experience than we did.

I liked the food very much. I recommend the fried calamari it was scrumptious. We also had Lure signature rolls and Hellfire rolls. Both were delicious. I suggest to make reservations in the back of the restaurant, because the part by the door and the bar is too crowded and noisy. It was hard to talk to each other. Also we ordered octopus but it didnt come. Kitchen was busy i think. But the waitress was so nice to bring complementary ice cream, which made us happy.

Food was good, but way overpriced. You can get better sushi for lower prices (Sugarfish). My review has to do more with the atmosphere. We walked in at 5:30 on a Saturday with a reservation. It was completely empty, as I believe they open at 5 for dinner service. We were seated in a booth by the bar. It was our first time there and I wanted to sit in the main room, but the bar area was pretty cool. Until she led us to our booth with crumbs all over the seat, table, and floor. All she said was, "whoops! Sorry about that!" and went on her way. We could care less about the floor, but the table and the seat where my wife sat? I think the restaurant needs to think about hiring a man to clean between the shifts. So that people don't come in and crumbs and garbage (napkins and whole pieces of dropped food) on the floor.. It's not a very clean place. The food is good. But not $22 per roll good. Nothing to write home about. I still give this place 4 stars for food and 2 for service/atmosphere. Average 3.

This bar / restaurant is a hidden gem in SoHo. Not only is their fish fresh and not frozen (a big difference in quality), but I've had probably the best mojito in the city here, hands down, and I'm native to NYC. A little pricey, but you're paying for quality and aesthetics, which is on point. Will visit again.

Tuna Crispy Rice Much like the classic version you’ll most famously find at LA’s Katsuya and every restaurant in Miami, this crispy/crunchy rice with spicy tuna on top is a can’t miss order.

It's a hot spot for after work drinks and raw bar - the food was definitely good, just not super memorable (other than the delicious raw bar) . Lure had been on my “want to go” list for some time now. I finally got to go, on the last day of Restaurant Week 2019 ! And, I was kicking myself for not getting here sooner. Loved it so much I came back for happy hour three day later. Molly went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. She even remembered us from the first visit( which was a bustling Friday night)!!! Ra, provided top notch service. On the second visit we sat at the Sushi Bar and was served by Brandon who was as good perhaps even better. Even the oyster shucker was on his game...!! This spot has now been placed on my favorite list ; I’ll definitely be back....

The place has terrible service . Kate the manager only justifies the slow 30 min service for the main course to come. We ordered a lobsters tail and it came half lobster with it and over burned. The roll we ordered was not fresh and we wasted hour and a half for nothing . For such a expensive place all is terrible and service is even worst

I reserved a table at the Lure Fishbar because I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. I also wrote that in the reservation and asked that I get a quiet and nice table. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were parked at the bar for 20 minutes. For me this was an unexpected and unpleasant situation at that moment, as the waitress knew why I was here. During this time several guests, who were much older than me, got tables. We were completely ignored. Then we got a corner table right next to the front door that bordered another table where a couple sat. I would say this was the worst table in the restaurant and totally unsuitable for a marriage proposal. I pointed this out to the waitress and asked for another table. We then moved on to a table which was by no means better suited and understood this as provocation. As a consequence we left and I made the request in another place. The waitress in this restaurant is an insolence. The food is certainly good, but those who value mood, atmosphere or good service are in bad hands here. ________________ Ich habe in der Lure Fishbar einen Tisch reserviert, weil ich meiner Freundin einen Heiratsantrag machen wollte. Das habe ich auch in die Reservierung geschrieben und die Bitte, dass ich einen ruhigen und schönen Tisch bekomme. Im Restaurant angekommen, wurden wir erstmal für 20 Minuten an der Bar geparkt. Für mich war das in diesem Moment eine unerwartete und unangenehme Situation, wusste die Bedienung doch, weshalb ich hier bin. In dieser Zeit haben mehrere Gäste, die deutlich älter waren als ich, Tische bekommen. Wir wurden komplett ignoriert. Dann bekamen wir einen Ecktisch direkt neben der Eingangstür, der an einen anderen Tisch grenzte, an dem ein Pärchen saß. Ich würde behaupten, das war der schlechteste Tisch im Restaurant und gänzlich ungeeignet für einen Heiratsantrag. Ich machte die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam und bat um einen anderen Tisch. Wir bekamen dann einen Tisch weiter, der keinesfalls besser geeignet war und haben das als Provokation verstanden. In der Konsequenz sind wir gegangen und ich habe den Antrag an einem anderen Ort gemacht. Die Bedienung in diesem Restaurant ist eine Unverschämtheit. Das Essen ist sicherlich gut, aber wer Wert auf Stimmung, Atmosphäre oder guten Service legt, ist hier schlecht aufgehoben.

A wonderful wonderful date night! I took my boyfriend here for a date night for restaurant week and we had an amazing dining experience. The setting was amazing, looks like the inside of a fancy yacht! The food was rich and flavorful. I had the miso crusted salmon cooked to absolute perfection. And the service was so kind, helpful, and attentive. Our waiter, George, was no nice and made our dining experience above and beyond. He deserves a serious raise! Overall great night!

If you visit for Happy Hour, you better be at the door waiting to open. The seating will be full by 15 minutes after. You even have customers holding bar seats. The reason for 1 STAR...... We asked front hostess if we could sit near bar to enjoy Happy Hour bar snacks. When the server came to the table, we ordered our happy hour drinks. After we ordered some bar snacks. Server then tells us that we can not order bar snacks because that's only at the bar. But we got happy hour drinks. Go figure! When asked, can order bar snacks at bar and bring back to table? Server said no you have to be at the bar. WHAT! Had our drinks and left...... Will NEVER come back.

I don't have enough positive words to say about this restaurant. The staff, especially Mariah and David, were amazing and made it a wonderful experience. The oysters were the best I've ever had and I've shucked shellfish myself off the Rhode Island shore. We shared several appetizers and they were all out of this world. Crab cakes, edamame, home-made chips, deviled eggs, and fish tacos, I couldn't recommend them all enough. The drink selection was phenomenal as well, we enjoyed some champagne and sake at the recommendation of Mariah and she knows her stuff, they went perfectly with the meal. If you don't stop here you are severely missing out.

Absolutely divine! I had the oyster deviled eggs (delicious) and I also tried the caviar deviled eggs (they're good but not as good as the oyster one) and I had the snapper. Everything was great! Amazing place. The whole restaurant is located underground and looks like the inside of a big boat. I know this is a fish restaurant, but you have to try their burger! One of the very best in NYC

This place makes you feel like you're on the lower deck of a fabulous yacht. But that's where the excitement stops. Our server was great. They have a tasty Sancerre, and the sushi was fresh. The salmon had a few undercooked spots. Yuck. If I wanted raw salmon I would've got sashimi. The crusted tuna had absolutely no flavor. I basically left most of the food on the plate. Would only go back if someone else was paying, and I would only get sushi.

Ambience and music were great! I ordered lunch and a cocktail at the bar. Service was stellar. I wanted more non-sushi seafood options. I settled on a couple of dim sun dishes and they were pleasant. My cocktail was the Summer Breeze or Dream. Very tasty. It was strawberry flavored but not overly sweet. Very balanced and nice size for the price. I will definitely return.

This place has been designed like the inside of a ship. Very busy and very loud. However, the food was fine and service friendly. It's worth a try if you are with friends and want a fun meal out but don't expect to hold intimate conversations!!

Very nice place food is very good . Had brunch with girlfriends. Both had an omelette with cremini mushrooms and salad, I had the breakfast sandwich which had sausage egg cheese on brioche with maple butter. We had a side of children sausage and just because they looked so good at another table, we ordered a side of fries... Delish . I only took one picture of the drink my friend had

Excellent restaurant in SoHo. Great for lunch or dinner. I generally get the lobster bisque, which I love. Good wine selection. Good salads (especially the lobster salad). Good service. Good atmosphere. Good place for business lunches. I stop in and sit at the bar and enjoy my meal and maybe a glass of wine, every so often, and occasionally get dinner at a table. Both are good but I prefer sitting at the bar, myself. There's a sushi bar at the back of the restaurant which also looks fun.

Everyone loved their brunch, especially the lemon blueberry scone, Norwegian Benedict, The Leo, and The Bloody Mary Royal (with oyster shooter). We even ordered a side of sushi which was outstanding. The outstanding food, the friendly staff, and the ship decor have me wanting to come back as soon as possible. The restaurant is also ADA friendly as you can enter through a service elevator just a few doors down from the main entrance.

Great variety of options. The oysters were especially delicious. Staff was amazingly attentive and never let my drink get low. My only complaint is that it was a bit loud making it difficult for my sister and I to hear each other across the table.

The space is unique, transporting you to the sea with its yacht-like interior. It's quite loud though, so I don't recommend it for a quiet, romantic evening. The hamachi crudo was refreshing. Can't say the bash burger was award-winning in my book, but it was a good burger.
