Good food, beautiful place, but a little pricey. Service is good, although the hostess was not so kind as we arrived with a baby without saying so in our reservation. Stefan, our waiter, saved the day with his wonderful service and good mood. I particularly liked the crostinis and the creme de pot (I believe this is the name) - delicious! There was a lunch menu that I believe brings a balance between the food and price.

Had the charcuterie board, not the best cheese selection but it was ok. The Salmon dish was good however there was barely any pea puree on my plate... only asparagus and oignons.. My cocktail was the true highlight of the night.

Truly one of the best restaurants I've been to in New York! The atmosphere was very inviting and serene. The staff was very attentive and friendly. But the food... Oh the food! I've been to some great steakhouses but this filet mignon was by far the best I've ever had ever! Would definitely go here again I'm in New York!

The food is good and sometimes inventive (in a good way) and the service is excellent. It really could be more expensive but it isn't - thank you, competition! I suppose it's tucked away enough to not be a Midtown tourist trap. Bottom line: the prices are actually reasonable. The ambiance is very nice as well. But be prepared to put up with neighbors chatting endlessly about their plastic surgeons and summer homes and charity fundraisers.

The food is outstanding! Amazing taste and options on the menu! Seriously buy the appetizers 6 for $23 and 3 for $19. Worth it! Reservations are a must if it's a weekend. The dining area is a bit tight, so you may be close to other people. On a busy night the service is ok. 3 star service but 5 star food!

Chic interiors with attentive staff, but crowded and very noisy. Stopped by during restaurant week. The leek soup and roasted cauliflower were very tasty. The short rib was mouth watering, but the fried polenta left alot to be desired. The filet mignon was also a.let down, it was over done on the exterior and bit too rare on the inside even though I request medium well. The desserts were yummy, but a tad bit on the smaller side. Altogether, an okay experience. Definitely on the pricier side. Would probably revisit for a date night.

My experience was marvelous. I felt like the whole staff was in on taking care of me and my friends. The food was amazing, the chef is a culinary genius. I saw as he interacted with other staff very pleasantly which I feel creates an all around great ambiance. The waiter was so nice and took really amazing care of us. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. The food however was nothing special. For the price I'd expect more. My chicken was dry and felt like it's been laying under a heat lamp for a while. My wife's salmon was nothing special. Hopefully they just had a bad day.

A really nice place. We walked over after a Broadway show and it was great. Really good food, very good service, and just a pleasant night. We were able to get a 5:45 reservation earlier the same Wednesday afternoon, but it was hopping by the time we left around 7:30. (We took the day off work for an afternoon Broadway show / date night, which is why the early dinner made sense). The scallop appetizer was very good (though not quite perfection) and we both loved our entrees (truffle risotto and mushroom rigatoni). And we shared a lovely tasting plate of desserts.

I was expecting more from this restaurant. I went around 1 PM and it was very busy, I did a reservation in advance but the table wasn't ready, we had to wait about 10 more minutes to be seated. There are not many options regarding to food.

The place is superb, from the food to the service (brava Gaia!). Well prepared and delicious. Lovely to sit upstairs by the window. Only quibble is that 3 of the appetizers are "carpaccios" which gets you paper-thin servings of the meat or tuna or octopus. I understand it's a business decision, but at those price points, one feels a tad taken for what you get.

Great ambience for brunch. Everything on their menus is enticing, delicious and has a unique touch to it. The olive oil and bread starter gets you going. We got the truffled up mushroom croquette, for main dishes had the lamb burger and risotto. All three were great. Seating is a bit tough here so would recommend reservations and service was a bit slow at times. Worth a visit!

Quick service even during lunchtime rush. The crowd here at lunch seems to be suits that work in the area. The food was mediocre and expensive. There's nothing "Mediterranean" about this place. I got the salmon and shrimp salad - my piece of salmon was super small and you get 4 shrimps, arugula and a piece of bread with butter. Unimpressive given the prices. The atmosphere is nice, but really, there are so many other true Mediterranean food places for much cheaper.

Really liked the crostini’s. But make sure to order them in the numbers of how it is advertised in the menu. For instance, if the special crostini’s are 3 for 19(?), it’s good to get three in that category because they have a weird way of calculating them individually.

I had dinner here and was disappointed. The service was okay, the waiter was strange trying to be overly excited but took forever to bring the liquor and food. Everything the waiter recommended was below expectations and felt like he was pushing food that was about to spoil. I ordered a lobster salad, and the lobster was not fresh.

If Google provided half stars I would have gone with 3.5. Lovely atmosphere, attentive, respectful waiter. Food was very good, fresh and flavorful. The dessert is the only reason I would go back. My issues, food came very quickly. Usually not an issue but it came before our drinks, probably less then 10 mins after we ordered. Made me feel rushed, and like they wanted to turn our table over quicker. Good food usually takes some time, and I'm willing to wait a normal amount of time. While the food was above average, for the price it could have been better. Overall good experience, but I have high expectations for an expensive night out for dinner.

I went for brunch with five friends. Our waiter was attentive, polite and hilarious. The space is so pleasant : comfortable, not cramped, bright and pretty. The food was delicious. I had the French toast (divine, with berries and some kind of sweet cream sauce) with a side of exceptionally good bacon. A little pricey, but a really great special-occasion spot.

The menu is very unique and the service is very high quality. Also, their drink menu is very good and there are so many options that you can have. Lastly, the dessert might be my favorite part. It almost reminds me of a five star restaurant as a cruise ship because the selections are very prestigious and "classy." Overall, this is one of my favorite places in all of New York for more than one reason. I highly suggest you check it out!

Found a bug in my salad and the restaurant made little effort to turn the situation around - the manager didn't come over, there were no apologies made, and all they ended up doing was removing our appetizer from the bill. I shouldn't have to make a scene to get good service. Very disappointed with this situation given my dining experiences here before were positive.

Nice ambiance and the food is very good. For starters I recommend Crostini, Burrata, and Fig&Olive Salad. For main course my bet is on Sea Bass. Over the food is light and fresh and you don’t feel stuffed. Service was friendly but not prompt. Also coke was stale and coffee was cold
