THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS the only spot I go to for fried shrimp, fish, onion rings & actual, literal, REAL chips
Great heavy golden brown batter. Perfectly cooked haddock. Love the authentic Sarsons malt vinegar.
Authentic English fish and chips in America. Arguably better version in England! Friendly staff, excellent food, the old fashion way. Made to order too! Including the chips aka fries.
Mushy peas <3 Inconspicuous spot. Hearty food.
The best. Fish and chip I’ve had since I was a child I give a thousand and one stars
Yummy fish. Wish they had more options
I'm yet to visit England so I cannot speak to the authenticity of A Salt's seasoning/frying, but I wasn't impressed. There's no flavor. Even the few malts vinegar packets they give you fell short of excitement. If the fish is fresh, 2 thumbs up!, but if not, please lower your prices OR invest in a contract with Maldon. ...I liked the fries, but I'm obsessed with most fries.
Tasty cod and shrimps. Chips sometimes are not perfect, but still really good.
Although this place is cute **if you come in person** DO NOT GET Delivery / Seamless!!!! Food was absolutely disgusting and inedible. Fries were soggy and cold. Fish was beyond disgusting. Honestly if you got a fish sandwich at McDonalds it would have been 100x better. Our entire apartment wreaked of old fish and nasty oil as soon as the delivery person dropped off the food. The haddock was dry af / tough (have never seen fish this texture) and the cod can only be described as jelly like, floating in oil. The food literally went straight from the table to the trash. I called the restaurant back and they said that they were unable to process a refund because no "manager" was in. I call Seamless today and the restaurant is now refusing to refund order. Horrible customer service and even worse Food!! So gross - do not waist your time or money!!
Great food and cozy place
Authentic fish and chips. Loved it and the name...clever.
Tasty fish and chips, but very pricey. I love how everyone seems to have a British accent, adding to the authenticity. While the shop is small, there are a few bar seats. Grab one in the window! I’d recommend the lunch special. With it you’ll get cod, chips, and a soda.
Fish and Chips 2 stars for take out 4 stars for eating in. It's small place. Maximum 8 or nine seating. My tip is if your lucky to sit in then do so. Because the quality of the food is like night and day. Exact opposites. Take out is all soggy and ugly to look at. It looks like dumpster throwaway food. Where's the owner? Look into your business sometimes! Either way the food is tasteless. I recommend adding condiments to your order. Customer service is nice personality wise. Nice British accent. But remember if you order takeout it's still shi**y food with a smile. Too much money for dumpster throwaway .The drinks the fizz etc is all British variety. If you want the 4 star quality get lucky and eat in. Or go somewhere else.
We had the fish bites and chips, which tasted great and was very satisfying. It was a little pricey though. There was only bar stool sitting and a bench outside.
Ordered the fish and chips which were very good. Portions are big, but the place is small. I suggest eating on the benches outside the restaurant.
Not really true authentic chip shop. If youre looking for a taste of home i wouldn't recommend their curry sauce, more tikka than chip shop curry. Decent food but not UK chip shop
Fish & chips on a brisk Saturday afternoon.
Amazing little “Hole in the Wall”. You won’t believe the huge flavors from such a small shop. Four different kinds of fish to chose from. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly in helping you pick the perfect fish for your tastes. Most amazing thing on the menu is deep fried Brussels sprouts. Yup, Brussels sprouts! Amazing flavors are developed as the outer layers carmalize while cooking. For a sweet, after dinner treat, try one of their deep fried candy bars. You need to try this joint to appreciate how awesome it’s it. I found it on an episode of Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives. A short walk from the subway stop, a must see for anyone visiting the city.
Wonderful and authentic, traditional English pub style fish and chips!
Name should change in this day and age, but REALLY good fish and chips. Among the best.
Authentic enough for someone not in Brittan. Small shop with quite a bit of character. Nice service at the counter. Fish was nicely done with a good crispy batter. Chips were chips. Great seek and dine experience for a day in the city.
Amazing fish and chips! 20$ for a large cod and chips. Large cod enough to feed two.
We are across the pond for today's bite, A Salt & Battery- 112 Greenwich Ave NYC. I was in the mood for some fish & chips and I believe I have found a spot. Decided to try the fish & shrimp combo with chips (regular size), got 4 pieces of cod and 2 shrimp. The cod was perfectly battered, 4 nice pieces, wasn't greasy , fish was flaky and delicious. The same with the shrimp , not greasy, perfectly battered and thoroughly enjoyed it.They give you plenty of chips and with the ketsup and vinegar, never had a chance. I would recommend this place if you in the UK mood for some fish & chips. The staff was pleasant and service was great, my order came out like 8 mins later and nice and hot. Cash discount on orders...
Love the name, stayed for the excellent fish. Low key British fare including beer and cider.
The real thing. Don't forget the mushy peas. All delicious. Great for take-out.
Super fresh shrimp and fish & chips!
A NYC institution of a British classic! I had the cod regular (no chips) with deep fried Brussel sprouts. The brussels were PERFECTLY fried. So crispy! Like potato crisps! The cod was a generous size. Everything delicious. This being sman authentic iteration, the menu is pretry much limited to fish and chips.
One of my favorite lunch spots.
If you are coming for the fish, then the fried cod was great especially with the tartar sauce they have as well as a vinegary hot sauce they have. The batter is tasty and the fish tasted fresh and was very hot. However, if you are coming for the chips, then they are just decent. They are unsalted. I review them separately because they are purchased separately. I found it quite odd that there was no combo with both fish AND chips
Totally love this place and portions are huge
Great traditional British food, friendly service. Was served by a lovely English girl, very friendly and polite, ( a bit quirky) was very intrigued by her strange and unique tattoos, especially the Cilla Black one! All in all a good experience and would go there again
Pros: freshly made food; good, crispy coating. Clean. Quick. Cons: flavorless I ordered the fish and shrimp combo. The seafood was fresh. The coating was nice and light. I had to add a lot of ketchup, vinegar, and tartar sauce to have any flavor.
Pretty good fish and chips! I'm from new zealand so I'm picky. These were good!
Good fish and chips. Nice on a cold snowy day after walking around in the city.
I have had a lot of fish and chips. Every time I go to England I make it my mission to seek out the best fish and chips joint...this one, in NYC, comes near the top few in England!! Go and you won't be disappointed. I'd recommend focusing on the fish items and share an order of fries (huge portions). And while you wait, go to the neighboring store and grab some elderflower sparking water and a Cadbury for later...you won't regret it ;)
Greasy fish and chips joint for exactly what you want it for. Incredibly nice staff but very limited menu, basically soda and a fry shop, with counter seating. The fried Mars bar is perfect.
Really great, proper English fish and chips.
A place to be well respected and acknowledged with care. By my chance to visit the workers, food and products served, shall be met again
Amazing fish and chips. Small place that wouldn't accommodate a large group to be seated. Very impressed with the food.
The nicest fish and chips I've had in my 6 years in New York.. mushy peas are amazing too, and the battered Mars bars lol
So good! Owner is a great guy
A Salt & Battery is a perfect fish and chips place. The fish is tender and the batter is perfect. French fries are good. Simple menu. Friendly service.
After recently moving to NYC from the UK, I was looking forward to authentic English fish and chips as promised on the website... however the chips are nothing like back at home and were brown, crispy and dry! Curry sauce was also disgusting , again would not be served in a UK chip shop! Please If you want an authentic fish and chip shop experience book yourself a flight to the UK (would probably cost less than eating here!!) and do not go here... you’ll be disappointed! Really strange as the bloke was English so he must know it’s nothing like authentic. All the good reviews must be from Americans who have nothing to compare it to...
Excellent fish. Excellent chips.
Fresh fish, crispy chips. Real authentic British fare. Will come again when the craving hits and I miss London.
Great British food. Yum!
Fish and sauce were good. Fries were greasy, soggy and tasteless. Big fish AND chips came up to whooping $21 !twenty one buck! Was it worth the money?… No Props to classy guy with English accent and really nice attitude at the counter
I've been craving real British-style fish & chips for a few months now and a friend recommended A Salt & Battery. I finally went today. I was greeted by a charming English girl who took my order for a large cod and a Guinness. Ten minutes later, a golden, crispy, perfectly fried 8oz piece piece of cod was in front of me and it was hot! (I hate lukewarm food). It came with tartar sauce, but to be honest, it was so good, it would have been an insult to use it. This is one of those really good hole-in-the wall shops that are disappearing at an alarming rate around this city. I hope this one stays right where it is because I definitely want to come back!
The real thing. Mushy peas and curry sauce are excellent. I like that they hold off on the salt and vinegar so you can season as desired.
He recommended the cod. It sucked. I so wanted to like this place and service is nice and friendly but the fish was so bland and
The food there is always great and fresh. I recommend it to try the place. YUM !!!
A small little place to drop in and pick-up your order to go or sit for a quick bite. I like the shrimp and cod combo, their tarter sauce is great, so I'll make this short and sweet, this is the place that BEAT Bobby Flay! Need I say more?
The best fish & chips place in NY.
Great chippy to get your fix. I love and go whenever I get the chance. The mushy peas and curry arent what I was used to when I lived in the UK but they are fine. The serving size for these do seem a bit large though. Other than that you can get your regular fare English chippy bits and I def recommend it. I wish there was on in my neighborhood so I could order in on a Friday night!
Best fish n chip shop hands down!! Fresh fish n chips the way it was meant to be and the way I remember as a kid, this place is authentic British 70 fish n chips. No frills just great greasy tasty food. I see a lot of reviews of this place saying not good take away, but proper fish n chips should be eaten shortly after it’s served and this place is proper. I actually prefer the quality of the fish n chips from here than most chipies in the UK
After having recently moved to NYC, my British hubby was having some serious chippy withdrawals that we thought A Salt & Battery could cure. Upon entering this establishment we were met by a less than friendly and condescending woman at the counter. I almost felt like walking out, but I hung in there for my man. We both ordered the fish and chips lunch special and awaited our food. The food came out in about ten minutes and when we finally got a taste, we concluded that the cod and batter were good, but the chips were reheats and awful. I might have come back to give the food a second chance if the service weren't so poor. If you want mediocre food and to be treated poorly, eat here.
Awful, $50 for what we had is ridiculous. I am not sure what oil or batter they use but it definitely does not taste English and authentic. The fish I'm not even sure was cod which is what we asked for, we ordered a large cod and got 2 small triangle pieces of fish which had a strong fishy smell (May have been the oil/batter) certainly not how you would normally receive a large cod... The curry sauce is absolutely nothing at all like English chip shops do it, it actually tastes like a cheap frozen Indian curry from Farmfoods, if you are from Britian you'll know what I mean. (We all love an Indian so the sauce flavour wasn't bad it just wasn't at all as expected) The chips look like they've been sat in there for days on end, dark, dry, wrinkly and poor, not one golden chip in sight. And this is from a person that was buzzing to go there and super excited but shocked when they got their food. Just look at the photo I added. Large cod and those chips, wow! (There were more chips that's a handful of them) Any chip shop in England worth their salt would not serve those chips they would bin them and cook fresh ones and make you wait. Tourist trap for Brits with no taste buds I feel. Awful food.
The fish and chips is authentic. Love the Tartar sauce. Friendly customer service. Classic British pop music playing in the background, a great place for fellow Brits & those who love fish and chips.
I understand this is authentic british fish and chips. I had the haddock and chips. I think I just don't like british style fried fish! I'm not sure how to describe it but I'd say it's worth a try. DEFINITELY get a regular size fish your first time here. The large is ridiculous in my opinion. The chips are pretty good, and there's plenty of malt vinegar.
The chips were good. I feel the fish could’ve been fried to crisp a bit more.
Take credit card but charge a fee. Slight fishy smell that wasn't there before. Also everyone here in the past had UK accents. Maybe change of ownership? Food still good.
Clever name but a disappointment overall. I had high expectations, having seen advertising around Manhattan for this place, and heard people raving about it. Being British, I can whole heartedly say while this is very far from authentic fish & chips, it's probably also the closest thing to it I've had in living here for 2 years. The chips are very good, just like in the UK, and served with real malt vinegar. However the 'tartar' sauce if you can call it that is actually closer to caesar salad dressing. The fish itself is good quality and tastes lovely, but the size is teeny, the square shape is bizarre, fake and slightly off-putting. The batter tastes good but is just wrong in look, texture and lacks crispness. Overpriced at $14 for a regular serving, but wrapped just like it would be in the UK albeit, at double the cost. Even though it was open till 10.30pm, we arrived at 10.05 and were told we couldn't sit in, only takeaway, which was annoying and lazy of the people running the place. Also, it looks just like the late night dollar pizza joints, yet closes early and is expensive - I don't get it...
Best fish and chips! Just the best! Also some good British Comfort Foods.
Good food lil pricy
Visited this establishment on my lunch break June 25th. At first walk-in, the lady at the counter didn’t say anything. I guess she is not aware that a little greeting goes a long way. After ordering the lunch special, I asked for a lime/lemon but was told none is available. I was quite surprise that an establishment serving fish ‘n chips does not provide lime/lemon
Top quality fish ... good service & friendly staff
Only real chip shop in NYC. Pricy but authentic.
Yummy, cozy and funny. Good to pick up and go as the place is small. Not far from HighLine so it great for grabbing and heading over there in the warmer weather.
Great fish and chips!
Been a while since I've been here but always a fun little place to go...
I've eaten there 3 times.... great fish... I'm from Ireland, but i lost my accent,so I'm sure they don't know that their centuries old, mortal enemy is eating their grub haha
A nice treat now and again..they serve beer and have an outdoor sitting..just two benches but its comfortable
Reminds me of good old english shop
Freaking phenomenal, will be back. Try the pickled onions, they are to die for
Excellent fish and chips! Not greasy, crisp, flavorful. ABSOLUTE worth it.
very good. let it cool down first. can easily burn your mouth as its right out of the fryer
This was a great find. Was very pleased with the service and menu variety. Multiple types of fish for the fish and chips and battered-bangers which are a favorite. Add in curry sauce for the fries/chips and I’m in heaven! They have vinegar too. It was great food. Pickled onions to boot and so many other things I would try if I get to go back. Definitely would try the batter fried Mars bar. They had a good selection of British drinks and some standard American staples. There is limited seating inside but you can snag a view of Greenwich Ave and there’s a bench outside the shop as well. Friendly service and the price isn’t too bad for NYC. Give it a go!
Pretty good. Fish was tender and very tasty. Fairly authentic English chip shop in the middle of New York. Next door they have a little import shop with all kinds of imported British sweets. If you find yourself craving an Irn Bru or a Violet Crumble like me this is your joint!
So good. Would be better if they used dripping, instead of hipster vegetable oil. But if you squint your taste buds a bit, its just like home. Might eat more of your wallet than it would in England, but hey, its new york, in west village, and its cheaper than flying to England and back :D Yummy :) (by the way, for americans who go here, if you want the authentic british taste, put a *loootttt* of salt on. Like way more than your government tells you is healthy. Then put four times as much. I mean, like shake that salt shaker vigorously for a bunch of seconds. Now do the same with the vinegar. Now you have real fish and chips :) rather than thick cut hipster fries :D )
Highly disappointing. I find like everything lacked flavour, watery taste all over. Even baked beans! Very upsetting
Craving fish and chips? This spot can help. The fish and chips are filling, and delicious (maybe a little too heavy). The tartar sauce is
Great portions
You gotta try the Fried MarsBar... OMG! Delicious!
There are a lot of options in their menu, some can be considered to as good comfort food. The fish that the restaurant is serving is fresh and of best quality. It can be paired to any sauce on the side. The restaurant have limited seats since the store isn't that huge enough.
Probably the best fish and chips in the city, but I would recommend the fish and shrimp combo as my first choice. The space is very small so if you’re eating with more than two people, you probably won’t find a seat, but there’s always the take-away option. The counter staff is friendly and helpful if you’re a first-timer here and I’ve seen them patiently help lots of tourists and people with numerous questions. Just remember to be courteous to your fellow patrons, it’s a fish and chips place, so try to have your order in mind and money in hand when you approach the counter.
I'm just a guy from Denver Colorado so I'm no expert by any means, but this was the best fish and chips I've ever had. Do be sure let it cool and put plenty of salt on the chips.
Great customer service, delicious food
The fish is so moist, it’s PERFECT! And the owner is incredibly nice.
One of my favorite places for fish and chips. This popular location is owned the same folks that run Tea and Sympathy restaurant further down the block. Staff are always friendly and professional. The current menu is posted on the wall. Even the small size of chips is served as a substantial portion. They offer Cod, Haddock and Shrimp, as well as British drinks such as Lilt and Tizer. They accept cash, Mastercard and Visa. Keep in mind that credit card payment is accepted, but adds an additional surcharge that is clearly posted on the counter. This is done per New York law.
Very good authentic British fish'n chips and very reasonably priced. Everything is fried fresh to order so make sure to let it sit for a min because a. It's hot! And b. Give the oil time to drain, the first time I was so excited to eat the oil was a bit much and gave me a stomach ache. But i know it was just too much oil still in the batter. Now I know to give it a min to drain a bit longer. Still delicious though.
Always nice to try food from other countries. Some might complain about the lack of seasoning but I thought that made it authentic.
Portions are large and fish quality is solid, but staff can be impatient and indifferent. Interior is small, so don’t expect to get a seat. Worth a visit if you’re in the area looking for lunch or dinner, but not a place I’d visit regularly.
Authentic fish and chips! This is the large cod and chips pictured, enough for 2!
Batter fish and chips than London!
Best fish and chips i've had outside of England
Not bad. A lot of options on the menu, nice selection of UK beverages and the fish and chips were pretty good. My only complaints were that the sauce portions were too small, especially with how good they were. Otherwise, great place.
As a Brit, I can say this is as close as you'll get to great British fish and chips in NYC.
The best fish & chips in Manhattan. From the mushy peas to the cod bites to the decor inside. A Salt & Battery is as authentic as it gets. The staff here is amazing as well. They always make you feel warm and welcome.
Excellent classic British fish and chips
I really wanted to like this place because the people working there were nice and welcoming, but I like my fish dry and it was way too wet for me. I would definitely recommend this place to people who like there fish really moist.
The fish was stale and it tasted horrible. I would not even rate 1 star for this place.
Yummy
This place sure was a good find! I’ve never been to the UK myself, but judging by the other positive reviews, I’m sure the fish and chips are authentic. They’re surely tasty! Two notes: 1) the fish and chips are scalding when they are first served and 2) there is a 4% fee for paying with cards. Also, the fries are really really good, but there’s a lot of them. The space inside is really small, but there’s some seating available if you’re lucky. If you like fish and chips, this place is definitely worth it!
Excellent food a real taste of home. Very friendly staff.
Tiny space.
Love the fish and chips here!! The special sauce is a Huge hit!! Great place to grab and go!
So so good. Lots of different options and cooked to perfection
Ordered in store Cod and Chips. Edited review from 3 stars to 5. I went back again second time lucky. Perfect! Lovely cod and chips just like the UK. Well recommend.
Classic fish & chips, a delicious and much needed highlight to my day!
amazing fish and chips just like England
Large fish and ship is good to spilt Mushy peas are indeed mushy :) The place is smaller with just a couple of stools, it's more of a take-out place. Got it to go - packaging was not that good - the cardboard got flipped upside down in the bag. Clamshell containers would be better. Included good amount of tartar, vinegar, ketchup, salt, pepper for seasoning. A bit logistically difficult to eat on your lap (ate it across the street in the park), so find a place with a table. Nice service
Good food
If your tastebuds are dead this might be the place for you. Terrible tasteless batter. But at least it was edible I suppose. Will be sure to not go back ever again.
Friendly, fresh and expertly executed. The texture was spot on but bothe the cod and haddock lacked flavor. Lemon, pepper, vinegar and hot sauce we're all needed.
Classic fish and chips. Can’t go wrong.
Had the small cod n chips, w/ Coke n ice. Very good. Should not be $20, but it's the West Village.
Food is very authentic. Unfortunatley so are the lack of hygiene, the shabbyness of the place and the lack of care.
Great for a quick lunch. Love that they stock Dandelion & Burdock.
I found A Salt & Battery just passible for British style fish & chips. I can't understand the high reviews. It's a very small place - think take-out with a few tables if you want to eat in. Compared to most fish & chips places in jolly ole London England, this place does not compare. The batter and air in the restaurant had a bit of rancid oil taste/smell. The fish itself was fine. Sorry, not for me.
Would like to say this the best fish and chips in the city but it is acrually the only authentic fish and chips in nyc.
Great fish and chips but a little pricey other then that I love it.
Very confusing in picking what type of fish you want. I just know that pollock is cheap and too fast-food, so I go with anything but that. They do make a proper fry here. Reminds me of the shops in London. Place is designed to cater to the bench seat or take-away crowd. So don't come expecting to sit with a big crowd. There is nice UK import shop next door (on the left) and decent restaurant on the right. Also worth checking out. One request is that they get steak-fries.
Very much a hole in the wall spot. Food is pretty good though!
The food is great and they provide exceptional service.
Mediocre fish and chips. Haddock too watery.
Great British fish and chip shop. I'm British and homesick, the 20 minutes or so I sat in here, I felt like I was back home in England. Lovely English lady behind the counter, lot's of British paraphernalia on display. I really enjoyed my authentic tasting fish, chips, peas, gravy and malt vinegar. Massive portions and an authentic menu selection.
Good, genuine English fish and chips.
Best Fish and Chips I'm the Noth East.
This was a great down home treat. I love fried fish.. I could eat it every day. It reminds me of growing up in Georgia where my mom would fry fish for us and make homemade hush puppies. This fish was just like that. Crisp and delicious. Not greasy nor mushy just perfect. I will definitely come back and recommended you try this place.
Great portions, everything tastes great - a real nice little spot for some nice fish & chips.
Excellent fish and chips! I lived in the UK for 10 years and this is one of the foods that I miss most. I wish I lived closer to this place so I could go every week!
This place is great.. Had fish and chips in London and I wish I could have found a place like this there.. The sauce or dipping they serve with the fish is very good
This is a hidden gem worth the walk or drive. Wonderful menu that will bring you back or allow you to experience the "chippy" take aways in the UK. and yes they have a selection of drinks - anyone up for an Irn Bru? When done there head next door to pick up some candies/chocolate bar treats also from the UK.
I’m originally from uk and I must say I’m impressed with this place I was so happy to get authentic fish and chips it’s been so long since I’ve had this kind of food. I definitely was living in a state of nostalgia... if you want a British experience this the place also there is a restaurant next with British cuisine this is definitely a must on the list f places to visit..
Nice, quite place
#deepfried #yummy
Excellent fish and chips. Fish is very fresh and is not frozen. Seating is a bit non-existent with about (6) stools total. Fried (jumbo) scallops were cooked to perfection - just the right amount of batter while maintaining the juiciness.
Over the years fish has always been excellent but poorish value for money. ..Today my first visit in a couple of years as we live in NJ now Fish was over cooked and a real chore to eat and get through that hard batter and is now even more expensive completing my disappointment. (Fish Cod only no sides no bread totals $15.20 for an 8 oz. piece) Add tip..drink..I leave it to you.
Huge portions, surprisingly affordable for such fresh food, beautiful setting, and best of all, it's so delicious! I would go back again and again.
During our NY visit, we decided to try this place as we saw the good comments and were about to eat fish&chips. The worst fish and chips I ever tried in my life! The chips were completely dry and tasted of old, burned oil. The cod was also absolutely tasteless. I do not mention the tartar sauce, the quantity was enough for two fries. The place itself looks old and not taken care of. I recommend you not to spend your money here and cannot understand the good rating.
Great food, reasonable prices. There's only a few seats and the place is tiny but they do carry out for if it's full.
My favorite spot for fish & chips.
I was there today (5/03/2019)Affordable local spot with good food. The place is small, it can seat about 8 people on a bar and a center small table. They have a bech on the outside where I saw people eating there too. Most people take it to go. You get that feeling of the good local spot everyone wants to go to. I had been craving fish and chips all day and they didnt disappoint me. I was able to find a seat so I enjoyed it more ;). I order fish bites(4), fries and a soda. It was about 13 bucks, Not bad.
Great fish and chips in the city
Great fish and chips, and don't forget the curry or mushy peas! They fry the fish fresh when you order, so it's nice and hot in the basket. Portions are large, so you can definitely share an order of fries with someone.
Best fish & chips in the city. They have recently introduced a cheeky 4% surcharge for using credit/debit cards - next level greed.
Food is good, great customer service
Small shop with a variety of fish for your fish and chips. They take credit, but it's cash incentivized, there is a 4% surcharge for credit. My battered cod was a little soggy, but the portions are large. Service is excellent
Great british fish & chips
Best fish and chips around. Love this little place. Comfort food at its finest
Good greasy happy and happening Fish 'n Chips spot in the west Village. Order the delicious Haddock 'n Chips and an IrnBru and thank me later.
Food is amazing and authentic. Just wish there was more seating and more options to wait for your food .
Delicious authentic Fish and Chips.
Ex-pat English husband approved overwhelmingly. Best he's had in the US so far. And don't be confused by the chips (fries), they're exactly as you'd find them in the chippy back in the UK. Batter on the fish was lovely. Everything was really perfect...perfectly transplanted from a London neighborhood. Flashback of being back in Elephant & Castle :)
British fish and chips! It reminded me of my time in Scotland in all the best ways. I really enjoyed their battered Sole and a fried Mars Bar for desert. Overall it was clean and the staff friendly and helpful to boot.
I love this place. Reminds me of home and tastes just like the real deal!
Small joint with good food
