REVIEWS OF Spike's Fish Market & Restaurant IN New Jersey

Kyle Trautwein

Sat at bar with my two friends. Very pleasant girls working that day. Had a super tasty lunch. I will go back most definitely.

Darlene Sutton

Food was great service was good setting tight but good experience

Martin Bartocci

Great seafood. First time dining here. Would highly recommend.

Tom Lynch

Teen-Tiny little place with one little shared bathroom in the corner. If you sit at the three seat bar on a Saturday night, you catch all that goes on in a busy kitchen. This quaint little shack reminds me of something out of the 20s roadhouses, food is pretty good service is strained. There are two fish mounted on the wall over the pick up area for orders. One is a Sword and the other seems to be a Bass. Every time the girl reaches for one of those aluminum take out dishes it bangs into the Bass and collects a little of the 20s dust covering it. That's the shame of a super busy family business. Nobody steps back and really looks at the place.

Pamela Zollner

The seafood jambalaya at Spikes today was loaded with chunks of seafood, nice tomato broth, rice and spice. I loved it and had a bowl. My husband had the blackened tuna bites and I tasted them too...if you like blackened anything, this is a must order! Great food on a rainy, nasty day!

Carol Wentzel

Sometimes we drive the 110 miles, just for the seafood salad plate. To die for. If you go to Point Pleasant, you must stop at Spikes for lunch.

Chris Grandinetti

Fresh fish, great service, great prices

Rita Ronni

What a waste of a meal. The food had no flavor at all, terrible food. If I could give a negative rating I would do so. The place is not cute or clean, I don't understand the reviewers who are giving these high marks. Makes me wonder. Ordered a shrimp sandwich and lobster soup that was incredibly bland and boring. Everything we ordered was not good. The place is not the cleanest place either and the service is poor. My only advice is to stay far, far away.

dennis cabarle

Quite a few choices on the menu and all very reasonably priced. The food was very fresh tasting and the portions were generous. My only gripe was that I thought it was a little bland. That's the only reason a took a star off. That being said, I'd definitely visit again and try something else. We arrived just before the dinner rush but it picked up and became quickly packed while we were waiting for our food. The staff was very attentive and remained very friendly even as more people filled the place.

Martin Pinedo

good food, friendly stuff.

April Corvasce

Excellent food, very rustic semi uncomfortable furniture but that is part of the charm.

Karen Flannery

Extraordinary service. Cozy, quaint, rustic eatery. Nestled in the heart of fishing market district. Food is outstanding. We enjoyed cod oreganto, the pasta of the day loaded with lobster tail, clams, bay scallops, we had their chunky delicious chowder and the salmon. We bought home a homemade key lime pie ...superb!!!

Robert Shapiro

Easily the best restaurant on the Shore. Top quality food. Large portions and the owner, Steve is a great host

Lori Mabee

Great food but small and very loud atmosphere.

Gary DeRemer

Excellent service and great soft shell crab

Joe Zeoli

Fresh seafood at it's best. Place to go for sure.

J Kelly

One of the most authentic seafood restaurants around.

Mary ORourke

We went in for a late lunch and were seated promptly. We had the white chowder and jambalaya soup as an appetizer. The white chowder was okay, nothing special. It was pretty plain and had corn in it, which I wasn't particularly fond of. My husband said the jambalaya was pretty good, but it was heavily flavored with green bell pepper. He had the lunch special of stuffed shrimp which was three large shrimp and rice. Not a very big portion but it wasn't that expensive. I had the shrimp salad sandwich, with potato salad and coleslaw. Both of these were good. Sheimp salad was very plain nothing special. The seafood was very fresh however. We live locally and that was the first time we ever eat there, as it's usually extremely busy, and hard to get in. The service was very good and overall it was a decent meal. However we prefer another local fish market that serves similar fish entrees. Dinner menu was quite pricy, but there was a large selection, and I did notice that portion were larger than lunch.

Doug M

Always a delicious meal. Thanks

Pollyana Rocha

I love this restaurant. The seafood is always fresh and they also have great lunch special prices.

Paul Whittaker

Good food, especially the chowders, however, way too expensive.

Doug Gillespie

Delicious food.

Rosalie Notoris

Jim Malizia

Great Food, Great Service. Been there many times never disappointed !

Nicole Jennings

Great service and food

Thomas Ambrose

I travel from Woodbridge to point pleasant for the excellent lobster bisque . If your looking for other selections , they have it . Seafood is plentiful , the specials are always great . Your dish comes to you just as you like it ...FULL . Be ready for a great meal , but , remember Spikes also has delicious desserts . Call for waiting times , seating is cozy, kids are accomodated and parking can be found without having to trek very far . Spike's is worth the trip !!

Robert Tarrant

Trip Advisor #1 seafood restaurant for a reason. I go here for lunch since 1970's.

Laura Mattes

Always great seafood and great service!

Joseph Cullity

Highly recommended fish restaurant and store. Definitely not glitzy ! This is a rusty old fish store restaurant that probably stopped remodeling 35 years ago, and the decor inside and outside shows it. But that said it's one of the classic stops in the Ocean County area if you're looking for a really good fish dinner. They have a BYOB so you can bring your own wine or beer for dinner. They do not deep fat fry anything, show the meals are either boiled, baked or broiled. This means that the starches are either baked potatoes or rice, no french fries. Stop by and enjoy a really tasty meal.

hany halim

Excellent. Reasonably priced I'll go back again and again

Dennis Reilly

I had the flounder sandwich, which was very good. The home made potato salad was good, the coke slaw lacked flavor. The kids menu was overpriced, but the boys loved the food. The staff is very friendly. I recommend this place.

Robert Sidtis

Fantastic lobster bisque and clam chowder.

Bryan McKenna

Great selection and great quality. The clam chowders and lobster bisque are outstanding.

Robert Demonaco

It's my must go to spot for fresh seafood. Everyone is nice and accommodating. I've been going there for years.

Derek McConnell

Decent little dive bar, the lobster meat in the roll could be higher quality though and I feel like there used to be chunks of lobster in the bisque when I came years ago

Shawn Matthews

Love this place ...its an absolute must everytime we visit Jersey

Matt McCurdy

Point pleasant seafood classic. Been going here since I was 5

Bill Sickles

Our go to place for fresh seafood to grill at home. This weekend the tuna was amazing!

Amber Hill

Some of the best sea food I’ve ever had! The lobster tail, lobster roll, scallops, mussels, clams, and shrimp were all fantastic. The environment was relaxed and service was prompt and friendly :) didn’t have all the extra/unnecessary bells and whistles that you pay extra for at more upscale restaurants. 10/10 would absolutely go back again

Fred Walters

Delicious,fresh fish, nicely prepared.Excellent service.

Vinny

Fast service! Tasty food! Definitely recommend starting with a mug of lobster bisk!! Kind staff! Family friendly

Dan Bennett

Best Seafood. Lobster Bisque is to die for

Red Tarectecan

Fresh seafood but skip the lobster roll.

John Westerdale

Fresh fish, easy access. What bout to like!

Elizabeth Burkhalter

Such a cute, small resturant! Amazing lobster bisque! Our waitress was great! Would definitely go back soon!

Keith Blaze

Definitely would recommend the food is very good and has an affordable menu as well. Although would like if there were not benches and actual chairs, as well as the small tv in the corner that can't be seen.

Doug

Fresh and delicious seafood along with good service

Elisabeth Weinpel

Fish market plus restaurant and bar. Fish very fresh and definitely a local place. Very crowded with locals meeting Friends. Not fancy but good fresh raw bar and fish cooked your way. Good chowder not thickened with flour. Good service .

Eyevan Aldger

Must visit here if you consider yourself a connoisseur of seafood. It looks simple, but it is delicious. The fish is perfectly cooked and paired with it's sides (got mixed rice on one and linguine with the other). The cod and flounder were not overcooked, which is all too common and ruins the fish.

Rosey Rodriguez

Went july 6 w my daughter best crab cakes platter ever. Worth the 2 hour train ride from nyc. Planning to come back for sure

Mary Haas

The best lobster bisque, and sea food!!

Constance Paras

Go no where else for your chowder and fresh seafood at the shore. Casual atmosphere. Once you get a taste of their food you'll keep going back for more!

Anna Langella-Stanin

The owners are great people and the food is top notch. Great shore vibe! You can "tailgate" in the parking lot if there is a wait, which there usually is but it's worth it!

Lisa patane

My favorite restaurant would travel 2 hours to come eat here great food and great service

vitomain1972 .

Awesome place!

alicia white

Been coming here for years and there is a reason for all the repeat visits! The fish is fresh and delicious and the meals are outstanding. First only came to pick up fish but now it’s one of my favorite dinner spots. Love the lobster bisque and the jambalaya! They always provide you with plenty of oyster crackers whether you are eating in or taking out. Never had a bad oyster here and love trying the specials or just ordering off the classic menu! The portions are big and I have never ever left hungry. It is BYOB and they provide a bucket of ice if needed. Can’t wait for my next visit!!

Robert DeFelice

Cozy atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Loved the mushrooms with crab meat and the soft shell crab sandwich, would definitely come back for another round.

James Gamez

This place is one of my favorite seafood places to go to of all time. The food is fresh as can be and for what they give you it is a good price. Get the lobster role it is delicious with the butter on top and a little bit of lemon juice

Bill Attardi

Had a half lobster salad sandwich w/ soup. Lobster bisque was very good, but the sandwich was a little hor dourves. NEVER GOING BACK

Ofir Hillel

Very otentic fresh fish

James Ferris

Delightful specials, and the fish certainly seemed extremely fresh!

Maureen Henry

We arrived at 6:45pm on a Tuesday (in August) & waited 30 min to be seated. Not too bad for Summer near the Shore. The appetizer & entrees on the menu were plentiful but the real goodies were on the "Specials of the day" blackboard. I don't often see it on a menu, so I had the blackened swordfish - thick & plentiful. Delicious! It's not a fancy place & had seating for about 50 people. We sat at the "bar" (that didn't serve alcohol & was really a counter) & this gave us a good view of the workings of the staff -- definitely a well-oiled machine! The BYOB was a big plus as it really helped trim the bill.

down tothefelt

Casual fresh seafood. Staple of the community. Dry scallops are incredible.

Patricia Jimenez

The food was so delicious.

Carolyn Craig

Fresh fresh fresh! Love the fish entrees, and the market!

Sandra Masdiaz

Wow the place is always packed and the food is fresh

Jagan Pandiyan

BYOD is the best!!!! Fresh sea food

The One and only Pinky Pinky

A true Jersey shore seafood shack!. There is nothing like Spikes in the Hamptons or anywhere on Long Island! Spikes is one reason why my husband and I prefer the Jersey shore to Long Island and we live in NYC closer to Long Island. I have been going to Spikes since before the present owner was there. He has been there for 17 plus years. I have had sea food all over in the most popular sea food destinations in the US and Hawaii. But really there is nothing like Spike's. The secret to Spike's is Miguel. He is the executive chef not the owner. He has that special chef mojo. Miguel is the reason for the popularity and lines. If you go on a day that Miguel is not there you can taste it and that is the reason for the mixed reviews. Miguel has been there for close to 20 years longer than the present owner. It is best to go at lunch when there is no crowd or line. They stop serving lunch at 4 PM. We knew Miguel before he was married and we know his wife too who also used to work at Spikes. There is a waitress there who we have known since she was in high school and now she has 3 children. But if you know the staff like we do don't expect special treatment , everyone who goes there seems to be a regular and there is no cutting the line. There are lines even in the winter. The decor is still the same , no upgrades to The bathroom (only one bathroom) a real dive but a delicious dive. It was featured in Coastal Living magazine as one of the top seafood dives in the country. To get a taste of the true Jersey shore ,come here!

Shaun Van Doren

Great food. Friendly service.

Jo Jantz

Great fresh seafood. I enjoyed "the red stuff" which was a bowl of the red style Manhattan clam chowder. Very good. A casual place. Friendly staff.

Melvin Green

The space was a bit cramped, but the food was great, the service was fast

Bruna Defeo-Poecker

Great lobster bisque

Great place for chowder and seafood. Best New England clam chowder around.

Jamabayla, Seafood chowder, crab cakes. stuffed scallops for only 3.50 each. This place is the essance of beach vacation.

Britney Fernandez

To whomever reads this, and relays the information to this company- I went out for dinner here last night for the first time, and had quite the negative experience. I was greeted by an older gentleman that got my name on the waitlist for a party of 4. We got seated pretty quickly, and I was really excited as this came recommended from friends that lived in the area. The menu is pretty straight forward and tasty. We ordered some crab legs, oysters, clams and such. The food was good, but this review will not be about that. While I didn’t catch the name of my server, her exceptionally rude service will forever stand out as one of the worst in my dining history. I would like to mention that I do work in this industry, and I know what service should look like AT ANY LEVEL OF RESTAURANT. We started off ordering some clams and oysters, and when I asked for a minionette, I was met by attitude as they had none. She reluctantly offered a vinegar and moved along. Upon completing our appetizers, we were informed that she had to re-fire the clams oreganato as she had dropped them, which was also met by a snarky comment on how she didn’t think we needed them. When the second course came out, we received our crab legs and this Cajun sauce that came as an add on option. I should have known that it was going to be bad as she made a slightly disgusted face as I had initially ordered it. Had she explained herself and had me try it first, we would’ve never gotten here. I get the sauce, and it’s not to anyone’s liking upon THE FIRST TASTE. So, I kindly asked if she could take it away as we were really dissatisfied. Another snarky comment rolled through, but at that point the food was good and we were much more concerned with conversation. Upon completion of the meal, we got a check that did not reflect the update. When I asked her about the charge, she said “We can’t take something off that you ate” to which I had to remind her that we TASTED ONE and immediately asked for it to be taken back. Listen, I get it but $4 is precedent and we spent a good amount at this establishment. She reluctantly brought back the updated check and concluded with saying “congratulations, you saved $4” TO BE CLEAR, $4 makes no difference When trying to remedy a situation. I serve myself, it is totally possible to take something off if someone is not happy with it. In my experience I have never witnessed a more uncomfortable experience, and quite frankly this is not how service should be run. The goal is to have people come back, and with that attitude, you’re bound to hear more negative reviews. In the future I’ll be steering clear of this place as they clearly do not care about their customer service.

Randy Parker

The food was good. Some plates better than others. My favorite thing to eat there is the lobster bisque. The way to get in there to eat dinner can be long and the seating inside is very cramped. The service was very good and the owner of the establishment walks around and greets all the customers which was very welcoming.

Mary Ann Lang

Broiled fresh catch of day (Hake), homemade cole slaw, and roasted potatoes with onions. The best lunch!!

Holly Carr

Nothing fancy. Just delicious fish! The lobster roll was very good! Excellent key lime pie finished off a delightful day at the beach.

Jeff Stilwell

Fresh and fast. I had oysters and shrimp...both perfect. My wife had the two pound lobster. Beautiful bug displayed very nicely

Cele Leon

Loved it!! Nothing fried, very fresh

robert parra

Great little place! Always fresh seafood and wonderful people. Eat in or takeout.

Jim Loux

Good Red Stuff great Key lime pie Good if you like broiled fish I prefer fried shrimp and scallops

Donald Ciano

Our 1st time here and I don't get what all the fuss is about. It's a dive, and very cramped seating. Ok, a nice selection of fish. But even If our good was good it is not worth sitting on wooden benches. The stuffed flounder, lobster chowder, and hake catch of the day were sub-par. Maybe they need a new cook. Well the baked potatoes and cole slaw were decent. Dinner for two no drinks no dessert $56. Overpriced for the poor quality.

Dominique S.

I got food poisoning from their Brazilian Lobster Tail. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, the tables are very cramped. And here's the kicker of it all.. they gave me a "highchair" for my 8 month old baby boy. It's really a booster seat type arrangement and it clips on to the table. To be honest, it made me nervous. I wasn't sure how secure it was especially due to his age..I almost considered getting his car seat. So the waitress tells me... Are you ready?.. she says "oh and there's straps on it but I've been working here for 6 years, he'll be alright don't even worry about the straps hes in there justttt right" Excuse me, what? Mind blown.

Doina Bunescu

The best steamed lobster I ever eat :)

Nancy Freedman

I come here 4 to 5 times a year. I drive 45 minutes to an hour. I have waited up to an hour for a table. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The portions are AMAZING and the prices are reasonable. I love Spike's Seafood. It is always fresh.

Angela Owens

Had a great unplanned lunch at Spike's yesterday. Delicious food and friendly service. We'll definitely be back soon.

Jean Barclay Mastrangelo

Love Spikes have been getting fish there for as long as I can remember. They have a variety of options. We always get our Blue fish here. No one else has it.

Logan Dingus

This place has incredible New England Clam Chowder!

Brandon Lansky

Stopped here for some lobster bisque and garlic bread. It was good. My problem is that I only wanted something quick and cheap before I left. I was expecting a $15 tab on this but I ended up spending $21 for a cup of bisque and bread with cheese. They were both pretty good but not THAT good! They defiantly seem to envision the average person coming in a group to spend 30-50 a head. If you've never been, check the place out. I just don't see myself ever going back here. And on a side note, the bisque had very small pieces of lobster which there wasn't a lot of. I'm sure if I took out all the meat from my cup, I could place it on my two fingers and still have room

Daniel Morrison

Best seafood on the Jersey Shore!

Frank N

Awesome stop in on the the way back home from the beach. Great little spot for seafood!

Tim Velasquez

Ordered the healthier option of blackened tuna. It was perfectly cooked with a good portion size. Shrimp cocktail was delicious as well. Atmosphere is picking style tables and casual. Staff is friendly and provides honest recommendations at least they did to this traveler. Not many tables and is BYOB. Key lime pie was creamy but not very tart. A great meal experience . I will definitely recommend and return!

Jerry Meaney

I recommend the lobster bisque!

Christino Capozzi

The food was fresh and very good with a nice sized portion it was a fantastic lunch and the people were really nice and polite and friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu. Christino Capozzi.

Dharma Way

Crab cakes rule‼️& Jambalaya

Jeff Fischer

Always fresh and tasty fish cooked to perfection. Great soups, appetizers and desserts. Friendly service. Good prices

David Furniss

Combination fish market/restaurant. Lots of menu choices - fish. Good portion and prices. Food was very good!

Mary Owens

clam chowder awesome

Alexander Sharov

Mixed feelings. Can't go less than 4* simply cause of the respect to locals who seem to love it a lot. In imy opinion, an opinion of a spoiled newyorker - it was average, blank and a bit dull. No questions to the freshens of the ingredients or the service provided... it's just food wasn't what I expected and prices are not necessarily low too.

Raymond Hermo

Best fish restaurant in Two countys

Paul Spaccavento

Best seafood in nj

Coral Loftus

Best fresh fish.

Paul Belkin

Great fresh seafood. Awesome service and if you go mid week the wait is not bad.

Robert J. Edwards

Overall bland. I ordered a lobster and asked for it dirty (I wanted the whole thing not just claws and tail). Did not get what I asked for and the waitress didn't seem to care. Another in my party orderd scallops and noticed the portion was reduced from the week before. (This was Memorial weekend.) It seems to me that the prices are going up at Point Pleasant and the quality going down. In the past I have recommended Spikes. After seeing the decline I am not likely to recommend Spikes.

Dean Hedin

Best seafood restaurant in the area. You may get lucky and meet a famous sports player, politician, or celebrity. Usually a 20-30 minute wait but we'll worth it. Enjoy Pluto's platter or the surf and turf. BYOB.

Michael Zirngibl

One of the best places to have fresh seafood in NJ. There isn't an item on the menu that ever disappointed me. I highly recommend visiting Spikes!

Marcelle Maggio

Ok not the best. A bit pricey I prefer another small seafood restaurant not to far from this one. Better portions better prices.

Anthony P

Their Lobster Chowder is the best! The stuffed Scallops and stuffed crabs are great too!

Locust Silver

This place was great. The food was really good, and the staff were also very nice. The owner was a very nice guy. The prices are fair.

Reed Holland

BEST SEAFOOD EVER.

That Guy

Good tasting food, amazing crab cakes, but not a single fried fish option? Lobster bisque was good, but a little over priced. The cup option is served in a 6 oz coffee mug at $9. A bowl is in the double digits for not all that much more than whats in the cup. Seating is more thrift store than restaurant, but not unexpected in this roadside shack that at its heart is really a great little fish market. Service was polite, patient, prompt and best of all, not bothersome. If you want to get your fish fry on, this is NOT your place. Love crab cakes, baked fish dishes? Head on over. And when you leave, grab some fresh fish to bring home...great price points lie there. I'll certainly come back and try a few more dishes.

Paul Jeffrey

Lobster stew is just ok. Lobster roll way better at Point Lobster. Won't be back, not worth the trip for me.

Stephanie S

I was not impressed . I had the Neptune bowl and the tuna steak and linguine it was bland. I was left underwhelmed . I wish it had more flavor but it didn’t but the food was fresh . The Neptune bowl mussels were ok, and the lobster could use a alot more seasoning. I guess having an Island palette I expected more after seeing all the good reviews , but clearly the locals do not know what the definition of delicious is . If your from NY and any other spicy city don’t bother .

Mary Majewski

Awesome new England clam chowder

Jan Basile

This place is a dump. Way over priced for what you get.Hardly somewhere you would want to eat. Potato salad tasted like they watered it down. Bland as ever. Better decor at a park picnic table. Waitress not very friendly. Can Tell this is a locals only place. Better off going to Atlantic Fishery. Cleaner. Better quality food at lower prices, and you can eat outside. Can not understand why they charge so much for so little. Not for tourists

Robert Rodgers

I love this place

Jeremy Allen

Nice menu, fresh seafood. Very casual dining room

A. Lucas

The food was extremely bland. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Kyna Ng

If you want to be a tourist for a day here is a spot to eat at Point Pleasent to enjoy an incredible meal and great fresh Seafood! Been coming here since I was about 11 yrs old and they literally serve Da BEST Lobster bisque in town. My cousin, that lives in Upstate NY loves to come to Point Pleasent to only have a bowl of there freshly made Lobster Bisque Soup. I have had different types of Lobster bisque soups in the past and I would say they make the BEST in NJ compared to what I have had in Maine. Besides their Lobster bisque they also have their Fresh Catch of the day which is also brilliant, and their seafood is just honestly amazing. Would reccomend it to you, your loved ones, and your family to go! The atmosphere is homey and has that Fishman vibe (which is perfect since it's a seafood restaurant) . You can also buy fresh seafood from them too if you wanted to make some fresh food at home. I highly recommend you to come and experience, and taste their amazing homemade food

Dori Daus

Delicious food, nothing fried!

Tim Kuntz

Phenomenal food and service.

Thomas

Latanya Washington

Love the white clam chowder!

marian tagliareni

Very casual very crowded and the food is superb....if you walked into this place blindfolded you would not know that they were cooking fish.... Food is excellent

michael ferrari

Good food but way overpriced

Adam Kenter

I have been coming here for many years, usually with my dad to get some chowder and a sandwich. I stopped by for a quick peel n' eat shrimp session. After my first shrimp, I grabbed a napkin an it basically disintegrated in my hands. The napkin had the consistency of thin toilet paper. In an effort to be helpful, I asked the closest person behind the counter if she wanted some customer feedback. After an indifferent response, I proceeded to display the inferior napkin, to which she replied, "Yeah. I'm not the person who orders napkins but I'll get right on that." It was if I were talking to a bratty teenager with a chip on her shoulder. When I tried speaking with her again before I left (mind you I was not at all confrontational), she doubled down with her awful attitude and an incredulous grin, intent on making me feel embarrassed or out of line. After being interrupted by her for the last time, I gave up and left. Apparently NO ONE there cared at all about my experience or what was going on, because out of the at least 6 staff present, nobody offered to help. I can't remember the last time I was so put off by a server. If the owner of the Spike's is reading this, please note that I too am a business owner. If I knew that a customer of mine was treated with such indifference and defiance, I would not be happy.

Christopher O'Connor

Exactly what we were looking for. Family friendly, great food, large portions all for a very reasonable price.

Lynn Bannon

Lunch was pretty good and fairly priced, bathroom needs attention, service was a little off.

Michael Vaccari

Fresh food lovingly prepared!

Carol Warman

Great little necks!!! Wonderful oysters! Thanks for staying open late for us.

Gregory Miller

Always good had the soft shell crab franchise sandwich gave you the sauce to dip it in . It wasn't on the menu but it maybe now

Mary M

The best seafood around! Seafood chowder, clams casino, scallops, crab cakes... no matter what you pick you can’t go wrong! You’ll never be unsatisfied or leave feeling hungry at Spike’s. It can get busy at times (but where doesn’t at the shore in the summer) so expect a wait at dinner time or on the weekends. Stop by for lunch during the week and you won’t regret it. They also have lunch specials that are reasonably priced.

Dawn Lichtenwalner

Food was awesome but waitress seemed like she would have rather have been somewhere else.

The Mutater

Spikes is a nice fish market and restaurant with lots of seafood options. A favorite appetizer of mine is the new England clam chowder becuase it very creamy with lots of clam potato and corn in the soup. But my favorite entree is the Alaskan king crab legs they are a little pricey but for what your getting quality wise it is worth it. Two other appetizers to get are the steamers and the oysters which are both heavenly. And the oysters are schucked well too.

Gloria Dykes

Great lunch...good food, great service

Beth Brayboy-Andrews

This place has no ambiance but the food is delicious. You can bring your own beer or wine and the staff is very friendly.

Abraham Roner

Excellent food excellent service. I will return to them. From Panamá.

Leslie Soyak

Lobster salad sandwich,poor

Joanna Sifonios

Soft shells were the best we've ever had.

Kenneth Kelly

The freshest fish.

Victoria Roxas

Delicious and fresh seafood! Loved it.

Ec NEWELL MAN

It doesn't get much better for New England clam and lobster bisque then Spikes, and that is saying much with all seafood places in Pt. P. Beach.. Hearty meals...homemade pies and generous portions. You will not be disappointed.

Laura Bobbe

Best seafood! Always a great meal.

Robert Suggett

I'm from California visiting family. This is one of the best sea food restaurants I've eaten at the king crab, and scallops are fantastic and the chowders are excellent really not a bad thing on the menu

Joseph Horan

Iconic spot for the freshest seafood around. The clam chowder - "White Stuff" or "Red Stuff" is amazing. The other appetizers are all delicious and a great value. The specials are exactly that - special - using whatever is freshest that day. The staff is very friendly. The dining area is small so during the summer there is often a wait. Many choose to get orders to go - or you can shop at the fish market and cook at home. A terrific BYOB for any seafood craving!

Barbara Chauvin

Scallops wrapped in bacon, great.

Madeline Wentworth

Fresh seafood nice place away from the boardwalk. Worth the money can also buy fresh seafood to take home.seafoodright off the boat.

Sandra Feliciano

When in the area must come mmmmmmm
