Good fried fish.. made to order.. the market is there so you can buy the food as well.. PARKING SUCKS but if you can get over that then You will have a decent meal pricing is reasonable as well

I've been looking for an on-the-go seafood restaurant in this area for a while so you can imagine my excitement when I walked past FFM. They offer a pretty robust menu including my favorites: crab legs, pan-seared scallops, and fried snapper. For my first visit, I opted for the pan-seared scallops which comes with steamed vegetables and fried rice. Overall, it was subpar. And before you think I'm being harsh - the steamed vegetables consisted of only two lonely little broccoli stems; the fried rice was so-so, probably because a lot of the veggies were a little TOO fried; and the scallops were seared perfectly but had a little TOO much lemon zest. And in order to have corn on the cob, I had to order a side order instead of substituting out the rice. SUB - PAR! Would I go back? Yes, but next time I think I'll try the steamed platters and report back!! Bon apetit!

Spent $$$ very disappointed. One star is too good... Should get none...Fish was not cooked. They wouldnt do anything. We wont be back. Don't waste your money and time here. got the shrimp and rice. Shrimp was very tiny not like the posted picture. looked like it was chopped up....False advertising. And $9....

Great fried fish and good prices! I agree that the fried shrimp is probably the best I've ever had . I got the fried platter of: shrimp, whiting, and crab sticks. Everything was battered and fried to perfection. Shrimp was large and delicious. Fish was banging also. I'm not into the crabsticks because anything other than real crab meat $$$ doesn't do it for me, but it was fried and cooked perfectly so I ate it. I suggest giving this place a visit. DEFINITELY get some fried shrimp!

My wife and I spent 30 dollars worth of cooked food. I ordered the shrimp platter for 8.99 and the shrimp was burnt very bad and i called and she said, that's the way we cook it but the picture does not look that way, burnt. I was bringing it back but I threw it in the garage and took a lost. We not going back there again!!

Great prices and quick service for fresh fish. Enjoyed jumbo shrimp and flounder many times. If you are in a rush they also offer steaming for your shrimp, but make sure they don't steam it too long or it will become rubbery. A great variety of all kinds of fish, crabs, shrimp. Could benefit from less signage and some better smells inside. Would also like to suggest that they offer crab salad, shrimp salad, which people seem to love. It has become on of my favorite places to pick up fresh fish.

Options were limited but they were all really fresh. We took Pomfret and live crab, they were delicious. We also had options to get your crab steamed if you fell little uneasy to handle live crabs. Overall, it was a great place for fresh sea food.

I’m going to give it a 2 for now. This was my first time coming here. I was craving crab legs. They are expensive first of all but it is supposed to be one big cluster corn on the cob and a biscuit. For $18.99 I could have gotten 2 clusters steamed the same way in shoprite and the corn on the cob is a mini not even full length. I know for sure when I’m craving seafood again I’ll come back to try something else. But if I’m not happy the second time around I won’t be coming back.

Worst Seafood Ever! It’s not fresh it’s frozen, fried rice was extremely hard and tasteless. They give u less than half of a pound a crab legs. Please Don’t waste your time!

The merchant needs to follow up on their credit card processing machine so that customers don’t have to make sure they’re not being charged multiple times. Other than that, the prices are decent and the service is personal.

Looked for a Fish Sandwich Restaurant, online in the Rahway, NJ area. I found this Fresh Fish Market here. Liked the review and went for lunch. VERY Nice !! Clean, Fresh, Friendly Family people. Most Reasonable ! I will go back often now and most likely a few times a week. Thank you.

0 star. Went around 7 PM yesterday to purchase fish. Cleaning was closed and said very easy to cut and clean. When back home fish was very old, spoiled and ended up bin. Waste of money. Now I realise why people buy fish in branded shops.

The food is decent but my most recent experience was TERRIBLE. I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened, all pleasant experiences with the young man who usually delivers and works the counter. But the elderly woman who works behind the counter is nasty and unprofessional! As a paying customer I had to “beg” and consequently be denied a to go container of tartar sauce with my meal SMH. Awful customer service! Needless to say, I’ll never set foot or spend another dime in that place. UPDATE: I don't think the mean older woman works there any more.. Food is great and well priced. I eat there often.

This is the worst experience I’ve had with fish. I spent $20 And this lady gave me old slimy fish. She did not clean it well and the fish smelled rotten. I called back to let her know about the fish and she hung up on me . Just save your money don’t go there

Just what I’ve been looking for. Their seafood is fresh and it’s convenient that they fry the fish at the location for you. The prices are the cheapest I’ve been to so far. Definitely a place to go to when your in Rahway and have a craving for seafood. Ps they offer fried and steamed seafood.

Ive been to many Fish Markets in various states and Ive never been to one this nice. Its clean, offers a dining space, the fish is freshly cooked. They even have an Xbox and Chess set up if you want to play while you wait!!

Really nice place. I stop by here because I have an affinity for fish and chips, and I was not disappointed. I find fish markets are a wonderful place to get fish and chips. But once I got here were some of the best that I’ve had. I have the fish and chips with cod. The breading was really light and the fish was really flaky. Well worth the money. I looked around the fishmarket. It’s a small family owned business, and all the fish looks really fresh.

My parents have always been fans of fried seafood and were delighted to find out there was one worthwhile in Rahway! The food was fresh and delicious, (try the shrimp!!) the service was quick and personal. Everyone was greeted when they walked in and thanked when they left. My mom really liked the open dining area so she could sit and enjoy her food. (Not many fish places offer that) For being in a developing area in the arts district, the prices were great!! I will definitely be coming back here!
