This fish store has huge selections, one of the best in town. They are fairly priced and the whole staff knows fish and chemistry for your needs. They have a good return policy. If the fish dies within 7 days of purchase bring your receipt, the dead fish, and a sample of your tank water.

Sold me a 55 gallon plexi - glass aquarium where the lid warped. They took it back but I had to pay more for a new one to reinforce the lid. i think they are still selling the defective aquarium. Also, they say they will take back fish as a trade-in and give some credit. They won't always do that however. Depends on the whim of the owner.

This store has been around for decades and still have the best selection in fresh and salt water fish and all the necessary accessories to have a beautiful aquarium. Their prices are low because they buy right and pass the good deals to their customers. That is why they have been in the same location for decades. If they do not have it, they can get it.

Huge selection of fish from common ones to even rare ones. Purchased some freshwater plants which were very healthy. Tanks were all clean and the staff knew how to properly net the fish. Did not see any dead fish in their tanks and all the fish were lively. Definitely will continue to have my business!

The youngest gentleman is quite knowledgeable and humbly answers all questions you may have. Classic tank options at fair prices. Supplies at the ready. My son brought me to the store, because of the staff being so knowledgeable and friendly. I advised the gentleman that I had a 75 gallon tank. I want to know what type of fish could go into my beginners community tank. He asked me what fish would be my centerpiece and he would work around that. I chose the Angle fish and he worked around those fish. They have such a large variety to choose from.

I recently moved to Las Vegas and spent some time online trying to find a place like this, I read a lot of mixed reviews but took a chance anyway and could not be more pleased! I was acknowledged shortly after coming into the store, but was not harassed by employees asking if I need help. When I did ask for help I was assisted by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable woman names Lisa, who was awesome! She had answers for all of my questions and was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis for all my fishy needs.

Back when I had a fish tank I would frequent this store. The staff is always helpful in finding a specific type of fish. If it’s something they don’t have they can let you know the next time they will be getting more, and if they don’t carry it at all they can order it for you. The prices on both fish and plants are very good.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the best of all the shops in Las Vegas. They have wide variety of fish including some hard to find specimens. The best store in Vegas for freshwater aquarium fish and supplies. Was instantly greeted and asked if we needed help by at least 2 staff members. Very well stocked with a wide variety of fish at competitive prices. The shop is well maintained, clean and spacious and the fish look well cared for. They also carry a very large selection of dry-goods such as large rocks, filters, nets, foods, and a good sized freezer with frozen food. Highly recommended!

The prices are affordable on the coral. It's just the fact they don't have a vast selection. I wish they had cool coral like tube anemones, hammers other than green, maxima clams, purple kenya trees (other than the original tan colored one's), duncan's for sale, etc. It's great they greet me when i walk in, but they hide once you need help. Lol. So it seems. And i find that the girls that work there are snooty and hardly ever smile. Sorry, your attitude doesn't match the place you work. Maybe you should work somewhere that doesn't deal with face to face client interaction! Just sayin'.

Family run! No malicious or dishonest selling practices, such as selling endangered or exploited species, doesn't sell infected fish or buy from shady whole salers. Not overly critical of customers and don't behave like know-it-alls, suggests based on what you need, not what they think you should have. Amazing variety! There are saltwater and freshwater species, tons of good feeders/ starter fish for sale and offers all ranges of filtration with no bias. Every tank size you could want is here!

This is a legit Mom and Pop fish store. They have a wide variety of fish and being in the hobby myself for 10plus years I can say that the fish here are hundreads of times healthier than those you will find at Petco or Petsmart. Definitely recommend these guys 10/10.

I have recently got back into aquariums and upon research stumbled upon this place. I have read many reviews online about glofish tetras not being very hardy and dying rather quickly in new tanks, I happened to get my daughters glofish tetras here. So far they all have survived and have been a very hardy fish. One of the glofish actually started off in a 5 gallon that I did not prepare the water correctly and he still survived to go into the 20 gallon that I did set up correctly. The 20 gallon tank was also purchased from them as well, really good tank and deal. Also just purchased a few mollies, and like my daughters tetras the fish have immediately started eating and showed signs of being strong hardy fish. I really recommend this place, I have read many horror stories of fish from big box stores, to go in and find out in those stores that they leave dead fish to rot in the tank. You won’t see that at Trop Fish, go here before the big box.
