The staff here are so helpful and provide some amazing tips! They have great specials. Seriously, the staff have never steered me wrong. I always come here when I am in Omaha. I have loved everything I have eaten and purchased here. Highly recommended!

We used Absolutely Fresh to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner. Not many people realize they cater BBQ! We had the most amazing beef brisket, smoked turkey and BBQ chicken! Everything was delicious, including the setup of the salad and potatoes! I had so many compliments from our guests and the staff at Kros Strain Brewing who I let eat as well! Highly recommended from The Fredrick’s! Thanks Brian and the team for being amazing to work with!

People don’t understand when it comes to quality and price. This isn’t Walmart or supersaver. Plus if you want cheaper prices, fork up the money to buy it wholesale and quantity like them. Then it’ll be cheaper. If you don’t understand the business of fish markets. Don’t comment. Importing fresh seafood that’s quality is very difficult. I’ve always supported this business. I just wish there were more of a selection of prawns and shrimps. But this isn’t the Japanese fish market so I can leave without those luxuries.

I grew up fishing and caching fresh fish. So, when I went to the market today to eat food I was disheartened to see that they claim to be fresh fish market. I ended up getting some walleye to go and when I go home I noticed there were bones throughout. Also, half the pound was all skin with no fish. Unbelievable that they even had it in the case. When I called and got Brian the manager he just stammered and seem confused. So sad to have this experience when it could have been so much better.

Try the Crawfish boil packages for a different kind of outdoor dining experience. Very easy to do and 9/10 of my friends agreed it was awesome. Boil it up, dump it on a table and do it like they do in Louisiana.

Absolutely Fresh's Faroe Island Salmon is AMAZING. I wish I took a picture of this piece of fish before I prepared it. When I opened up the packaging, I knew it would be spectacular - it was perfect in color, texture and appearance. My dinner guests were equally delighted. It was by far the best salmon I've had in a long time...including restaurants in California and Washington and New York...and I'm from Seattle, i.e., I know salmon! Thank you Absolutely Fresh for making such quality fish available to us in the middle of the country!

I've been looking for a fresh seafood market... I'm so glad I found this one. I bought some Tuna to make ceviche, and was pleasantly surprised. I'm excited to go back and purchase some more of their food. I also want to look into their Oyster Bar.

My father and I bought some ham ribs for dinner tonight, and after heating them up and eating one rib. We discovered that they were the saltiest piece of food known to man. They wouldn't be too bad if the prepper didn't dump a whole box of seasoning on it and calling it good.

Absolutely Fresh Seafood Market has the best variety and quality of seafood of any place in Omaha. That, coupled with friendly staff and outstanding service, makes this the only true option for fresh fish and everything that goes with it.

They are always way over priced on all there fish for example mahi mahi at 18$ a lb is way over priced. They do have a good selection witch is the only reason they get 3 stars but wether they have it or not I end up finding it somewhere else because they rip you off. $18 lb for mahi mahi is the highest I have ever ever seen mahi mahi even from fresh local markets as I have traveled quite a bit. I have never seen prices this high ever not ever. The most I have seen Mahi Mahi is 15$ a lb and that was only once ever. In fact I have never paid more than 12$ a lb for Mahi Mahi and that's the most. What a huge rip off. Post update: just found fresh not frozen Mahi Mahi for $9.99 a lb I understand the response that was given to me however this does not justify the price. Its double what I paid and you can get quality frozen Mahi Mahi from Omaha steaks for $7.99 as well as from Trader Joes. I got my fresh never frozen Mahi Mahi for $9.99 and they accumulate shipping charges as well. They also stand by there products. I don't see any justification for doubling the price. For this reason I am leaving the rating as is but I appreciate the response back.

I'm always impressed with Absolutely Fresh. The manager, Brian, is helpful and knowledgeable with both fresh fish and their take and bake items. This is a must see marketplace with staff that will go out of their way with customer service. Kudos!

If you like fried shrimp, this is the place to go! Plus, they have these mini hashbrown patties that are worth stepping over a fallen elderly family member to get at. The atmosphere is laid back and fun; I dig this location a bit more than the new one out west, but you can't beat the food at either.
