My first time going to Lutfi's Fried Fish in Blue Springs and the service was A1. Wonderful. My Mom and I called in our order and when we got there the manager was personable, welcoming and warm. Made you feel as if you were at your family's house for dinner. Our food was actually ready but the manager told us that it had been sitting, waiting for us to arrive for a little while and he decided to remake our fish so that it'd be fresh and hot when we walked out. And the food...the food alone would take another paragraph. If you don't at least try it once, you're doing yourself a disservice. I would recommend any and everyone to go to Lutfi's Fried Fish in Blue Springs.

The staff is totally different, and it's reflected in the food. It tastes like someone who doesn't know what soul food should taste seasoned the greens.. they tasted like a mouthful of old bay seasoning. I don't think this is basa catfish anymore. The fish was spongy and tasted funny. Not the same fish, not ther same recipes. Shame on you.

My experience here has been better the macaroni had no cheese in it I tried to order frog legs ala carte I wasn't allowed to... the fish was overcooked

I went to Lufti's at 5:30 to get food to eat during the Chiefs game. The web and the sign on the door said open till 7pm. HOWEVER, I could not open the door even though people were inside eating. I tried to call from the parking lot and a worker came to the window and signaled me to stop. I don't understand why a business says they are open but they AREN'T!1

Stopped in with wife and kids while the dinning area is small and not designed for family, the staff was great and accommodating and altering menu for kids meals. Family of five and a half and spent what I would at any fast food chain, without a value menu, it was our first stop in. I had fish and shrimp and it was amazing wife had wings due to pregnancy and loved them. My only complains is the spaghetti was a lil over cooked, the men's restroom was closed, and different styles of tables would be better. We don't live in town so not something to take home, but none of those would stop us from going back.

First time we have eaten here and we were pleasantly surprised. The fish and wings were amazing! The wings fell right off the bone. The staff was so nice and super kind to my daughter. The portions are huge and will make for some great leftovers! Can’t wait to come back!!! #eatlocal

Friendly staff, food was seasoned well. Prefer crust on fried shrimp, the greens are excellent! Gizzards good flavor. Proportion size for fish average. Overall, we will be repeat customers.

Frog legs tasted like fish instead of chicken and they didn't seem to be cooked all the way there other fish tasted just average and the fries were not that great but the customer service was amazing I would go there again just for a customer service :-)

It can be crowded at lunch, but that happens when the food is as good as it is here. Been going here for a few years and have never been disappointed once. Personally i don't like fish, but whatever magic they put on it here makes it taste so good. Always fresh, never fishy tasting. 3 snaps in a Z formation..

Amazing food! Amazing service! We ordered the fried catfish with a side of fried okra & fries! Everything was cooked to perfection, our catfish was seasoned wonderfully and everything was hot! Service was fast and super friendly! Met the owner while dining and he had us sample their smoked wings....best smoked wings me and my husband have ever had, so flavorful, so juicy! We will definitely back again & we cant wait to bring our families!

This place is a gem tucked away on 40 highway in a small strip mall. Smoked chicken legs are fall off the bone tender and juicy. The basa catfish is tastey as well. I have tried to get my wife to make red beans and rice for years now, this is my go to place now for that dish. Thanks B for the tastey food.

The fish is phenomenal...fried, blackened, or steamed on a rice bed. Gizzards are tender and full of flavor. This is my favorite place in the KCMO area. MUST TRY EVERYTHING

have been in the blue springs location many times, guys are great and easy to talk to and deal with, food is perfect every time and price is very fair. have yet to have an issue one with any part of any of our visits. portion size is also more than fair, if you leave here hungry it's your own fault.

I love, love, love Lutfis. The blackened catfish is just perfect. It's not farm raised, doesn't taste farm raised! Greens are spicy and to die for. Cobbler...omg! Just a favorite place to eat. You won't go hungry eating here.

40 HWY LOCATION!! Ordered smoked wings they looked old got them home the ones at the bottom were cold which confirmed they were old. I bit into one and the taste was horrible tasted like greens why I have no idea I ordered fries as my side and they were over cooked and old. I feel like I got someone’s order from the day before that wasn’t picked up. I’ve had better from the Blue Springs location and 63rd st. I just really think they could do better overall even with the fish and sides. So disappointed
