Had the "secret menu item"- grilled seafood platter. Delicious food, quickly served with great service! Filled 2 people with drinks under $30. Comes with stuffed crab, softshell crab, oysters, several fish filets, shrimp, French fries, Cole slaw and hushpuppies. You're in for a real treat!

I'm not from the area and I really wanted some crab legs so i came here. I was not disappointed. I should note here that the crab legs were cold, that might matter to you. The legs where boiled and the ends of the legs had a nice spicy seasoning to them. I was really temped to get another pound after I finished. They had a good selection of seafood. They had whole blue crabs, crawfish, shrimp, and a few other items. The atmosphere is no frills, but I went there for the food not the looks.

Poboys are great, nice size and portions. Seafood selling side is not so great. I took home 5 pounds of shrimp heads last time, and when I called I was told sometimes that's what you get. There were 21 shrimp total. The rest was all heads and feelers. These were supposed to be about 18 count, so they said. Watch the guy weighing them, if he grabs the feelers and pulls them out and into your bag, you are getting a bag full of heads, because the meat all falls off back into their tub. Just fyi. The fish I bought there was good, and several more sandwiches were good too. I think it's the seafood guy thinking I am a tourist or something.

Usually this is the best place to get seafood here in Hattiesburg. However, the guy serving me this time picked up my order of sausage with his bare hands (did not wash beforehand either). When i asked him about wearing gloves or putting anything over his hand, he took the sausage out of the bag and bit it. I didn’t want any commotion but i took that as flat out disrespect and cancelled my order of sausage. Most likely won’t receive my service anymore! Sanitation needs to be enforced!

This place is great IF you like dry & cold seafood. I went for my first time, I tasted both the shrimp & crawfish which were both ice cold. The shrimp were very dry, was not soaked in seasoned juice, if you eat seafood a lot, you know what I mean. The crawfish tastes like it’s fresh out the sea, if you’re into that, this place is perfect for you. I expected a lot more seasoning. Won’t be buying from here.

Ah-may-zing. Best meal I've had in Hattiesburg, and I've had many. Prices unbeatable. Don't go for the ambiance (you eat from styrofoam containers), but if you're there for the food you will NOT be disappointed. Our party had just about everything on the menu... Fish, shrimp po'boy, red beans and rice, shrimp Creole, pasta delacroix, fried shrimp, corn/crab bisque... Seriously, everything was spectacular.

I'm new to Hattiesburg and wanted some crab legs. I went to a different restaurant and the legs were small and weighed FROZEN. I decided to come here. I asked a worker about the gumbo. He stated, "It's really good." I had a sample before purchasing a 16oz cup. When I received it, the cup had more rice than gumbo, it was not full, and it was cold. The manager (I'm assuming) stated rice comes standard and there was nothing he could do. After some polite back and he brought me another cup. This cup was also not full. I recommend getting the one in the cooler versus "hot". No rice. All gumbo. And... the cup is full.

Good crawfish and great service. The place is small but it was perfectly suited for they type of place it is. You can order from several types of boiled seafood as well as order from the fried side if the building where you will find fried shrimp and french fries. The only fault I found was that the fries were bland.

I absolutely love their Cajun Asian Shrimp, ask for an extra cup of the sauce though I personally don't think it comes with enough. Not a fan of the soft shell crab here though they use too much flour in the batter, to me it should be mostly corn meal batter.
