The fish taste good but the filets are very tiny as are the hush puppies, the waitress was impatient, inattentive, and kinda rude, the lady who had answered the phone before we got there was rude and curt. The cashier was rude and I saw no friendly or smiling staff anywhere, the French fries were terrible frozen things, the 12 dollars for sad Cole slaw yucky fries, marble size hushpuppies and 4 basically fish nuggets was ridiculous, if you aren't getting all you can eat catfish don't bother going to Jerry's. The pie is frozen store bought cheaply made pie, dont bother. Pretty much I don't reccomend this place unless you do all you can eat. I never saw a bathroom or anyone looking to be helpful enough to direct me to one so I could wash my hands before I ate, also they are very very stingy with drink refills, and they have their syrup to co2 mix set thin, so the drinks taste watered down. Good fish just very little of it dosen't make up for being treated poorly.

I've been coming here for 25 years.. Tonight the food was great as always. However the server was at best horrible. Her name is Amanda. She literally sat down with her friends visiting and ignored her customers. When customer service is the mojority of your business, you can't let that slide.

Best catfish in the state

I was disappointed in how our waitress treated our party of 9 like we really didn't matter. Although they were extremely busy, she was rude in telling us that she had to wait on her tables and didn't have time to get something ordered that she had forgotten. We also felt that some of the regulars were served before us and we had been seated over 30 minutes. Food was delicious but they were out of potatoes by 7pm. I won't be going back soon because there are other good catfish restaurants in the area.

Jerry's catfish is the best catfish around. The slaw is fabulous the sweet tea just right and the tartar sauce is delicious. Just be sure to wear warm clothes because it is cold inside the restaurant.

Took my dad for Father's Day at his request. Bet popular place, because there were about 50 people in line outside 25 minutes before they opened. We sat upstairs. We both ordered the catfish, which is all you can eat, with cole slaw, hush puppies, and green beans. Everything was very fresh and hot, the catfish was excellent. My father really enjoyed it as well as me. I would totally go back.

Simply the best catfish for decades. Fixing are good also. Maybe some of the other things too, but I always get the catfish. If you are not a big eater, the small plate gives you 4 filets or one whole fish for a lot less than the all you can eat.

Passing this place the igloo shape and the full parking lot grabbed our attention. We turned around and sat for a meal. It’s very anti-Keto, but definitely worth cheating for. Locals come for the ‘All You Can Eat’ $15.95 dish. We had the combo platter with five catfish filets & five shrimp. It came with coleslaw and fries for $14.95. This place was packed to the gills! (Catfish humor) The place is clean. The atmosphere was subdued; likely mellowed by the yellow interior paint. Tell them Goyo GTO Highley recommends. Please consider giving me a ‘like’ for the review.

Try the thin n crispy catfish fillets! My favorite fish house in Mississippi and I've tried many. Cool atmosphere in the igloo. Service can be slow at times and there can be waits to be seated. Still a great time and value of you're in the mood for catfish.

I️ usually enjoy this place but went last night and had a rude and unprofessional server. She slammed my parties orders down on the table and set everything on one end of the table instead of handing it to anyone. In all fairness to the restaurant the older lady’s that serve that’s always smiling is always great. This young generation should take notes at customer service. The fish is pretty good but I️ would prefer a little seasoning for my taste. Don’t recommend eating upstairs with the rude young servers.

I'm only giving this 2 stars because it's extremely popular and they do have really good food. My family really enjoys their catfish, hushpuppies and coleslaw. However, this pass mother's day, 5/12/19 My mother in law, husband, and I had a call in order for 3 plates. When i got there the Lady at the front counter was EXTREMELY rude. I was approached with a "what do you want" attitude. Told her I was there for our order and she just shrugged and acted like she had no idea what i was talking about. So i said, "maybe we called the wrong location" and she said "Well i'm not the one taking the calls" so i was left standing there without her telling me whether to sit, wait, she'll check, nothing. I had to sit down and literally ask "do you want me to wait" she didn't say anything. So my order comes out luckily i waited cause i almost thought they didn't have the order and left cause she was not helpful AT ALLL. I had to ask to add a coleslaw and she SLAMMED HER hand on the counter and turned toward her co worker to tell them to "add a slaw". The service was HORRIBLE. NASTY and UNHELPFUL. Go for the food i guess, But they need better management of service.

I ordered filets, they were small and a bit crunchy, but I loved them! About 50 bucks for two all you can eat fish and fixings. Our waitress was VERY efficient. I was actually amazed how prompt and accommodating she was. The line was out the door when we arrived, but we still were seated quickly. They take large parties with ease. Delicious food and great servers. Worth every penny!!!

I just hadda come give my and my daddy's place 5 stars I've been eating here since it opened in '84 but I moved to GA I miss it even all you can eat chitlings on Thurs night. But I did visit a few years ago and the cole slaw has changed can ya please go back too original recipe? Other than that the sweet tea, hush puppies are awesome still. And the fish always fresh and on point. The waitress always make sure ur plate is full. Yaw will love it just not the long wait with the line out the door but hell it's so worth it!

Has always been a great place to eat with the family. This evening not such a great experience. Had reservations for 16 at 7:00. When we arrived we were informed that they were almost of of the small fillets. As we start to order only 1 member of our party was able to get the all you can eat and only 5 were able to get the small plate (4) fillets. Kind of crazy for a catfish restaurant to run out of their main menu item. Half of our party left since the were out. Shortly after others were seated only to be informed then they got up and left. Waitress was nice, but very frustrated as well over the situation. Has always been great food, however not sure that we will ever go back.

As always, Jerry's was very busy when we arrived about 7:30 pm. The food was exceptional! But the service was lacking...we asked for specific condiments at the time of ordering, butter, sour cream, tartar sauce, sweetner for the tea, and couldn't get them till our fish was more cold than hot.

I have been eating at Jerry's Catfish for over 20 years now. There has never been a time my food was not as good as the last time! Ever. I have been many times when I was fortunate enough to walk in and immediately be seated; other times I've had to wait. Since personal opinion and experience tell my mouth the wait is more than worth it, I ever-so-patiently stand in line. Once seated, and my order of catfish filets, coleslaw, hushpuppies, and french fries arrive by any one of the great waitresses there, it appears I have eaten in days as I dig in and scarf it up! Forget the prim and proper worry of "who may see me eat more than 4 pieces of fish" thought ... everyone else in this building I'm 99.9% sure is doing the exact same - eating their fill of the best fried catfish you can get at any restaurant! So - ENJOY YOUR VISIT! It will be worth your time if your are prepared in advance for the wait to be seated.

The fried shrimp are huge! ( this is the 12 piece platter, I had given some shrimp and fries to my child before this pic was taken.)The coleslaw is sweet and pairs perfectly with the hush puppies. Our waitress was very engaging and kind to our crowd of over 30 family members. With that many people, our wait time to be served was longer, but worth it.

The food is okay but we probably won’t be back. I ordered Togo a few nights ago, the lady at the front counter was very dry and acted like she had an attitude. She threw my bag on the counter as she called me name. Never asked if I needed condiments or anything. Rude. She gave me two options for ordering Togo but I later found out there was many different things I could’ve gotten. $15 for 8pc of fish, a little serving of fries, and some over OVER shredded coleslaw. The fish was thin and crispy. Very little meat between the breading. Most likely won’t be back.

I wanted some authentic Mississippi fried catfish. If you do not like the smell of chitterlings do not visit this place on Thursdays. I was passing through and didn't know any better. I had the seafood platter. Evening was just ok. The onion rings were good. Good sweet tea too.

If you want the best catfish that Central MS has to offer, go to Jerry's! I always get the all-you-can-eat filets, but they serve whole fish too. If catfish isn't your thing, they serve other, always delicious items - shrimp, oysters, chicken, etc. Unique place located inside the "igloo." Great restaurant to take the family to as well.

Excellent. Best fish in central Mississippi. There's often a line, but usually not too long of a wait. It is worth the wait in my opinion. $15 all you can eat. You cant beat the fried okra. The dome building is unique.

We’d driven by it enough times and seen a full parking lot; we finally had to try it out. The line wasn’t bad at 5 pm on a Sunday, they seated us upstairs which was a bit odd with the domed ceiling. The service was great, the catfish was delicious, and you can’t beat all-you-can-eat for $15. We will come back when the boys are a bit older and put that to the test, in the meantime it’s a winner.
